My favourite toy ever!
This is such an amazing toy to use for prostate play! It was my first flexible toy and at the time of buying was my biggest and I absolutely love it. Fantastic addition to the bedroom

A fantastic toy for G-spot stimulation
Around this time last year I decided that I wanted to improve the quality and shelf life of the products in my collection so I started buying purely body-safe, well-made toys from trusted brands. The packaging was typical for Tantus products, just a white and orange cardboard box with a see-through window in the front to view the toy. There's a bunch of information about Tantus and the Charmer on the back. Inside the box, the dildo is stored in some plastic casing. There's no included storage bag, as Tantus never include them, so make sure to pick up one of the larger Lovehoney bags with your order to keep this safe from lint and other toys. The Charmer is made from Tantus's unique formula of ultra-premium silicone which is hypoallergenic, non-toxic and completely body safe. It can be boiled or put through the dishwasher for a thorough clean, which I tend to do about once a month, more so if I want to switch orifices. I use regular antibacterial toy cleaner and water for everyday uses which is fine. If you're switching partners though, go for the more thorough options. Make sure to rinse before each use too as silicone attracts a ton of lint. Nobody wants cat hair up in their crotch. When I read through the product description, I was excited to see this described as firm as that is works for my g-spot. It certainly does feel firm out of the box, but there is a tiny bit of squish to the lower portion of the shaft. Not a lot, but enough to stop this from being a solid toy. Surprisingly, it's also quite flexible. I wasn't really expecting that from this dildo, but I can make the head touch the base with some pressure. This is great news if you need to adjust the angle or positioning to make insertion more comfortable. The Charmer doesn't have a ton of drag to it as the silicone is more glossy than matte, but I would still recommend using a good coating of water-based lubricant when using it, especially if you're new to texture or plan to use this for anal. I don't need a lot of lube as this toy is within my ideal dimensions, having a fairly slimline shaft and a usable length that won't batter or bruise my cervix. If you can take two to three fingers with no problems, this should be fine for you. I was a bit underwhelmed with the Charmer at first glance because the four ridges along the shaft look less intense in person. I feel that the photos make them look more pointed and defined, but in reality they are more like soft, rounded bumps attached to the shaft. I decided to proceed anyway and was then met with the shock of a lifetime when the bumps pulled, pushed and rubbed against my g-spot with every single thrust. To feel the benefits of the Charmer, thrusting is essential. I don't mean super hard, intense, fast thrusting, I mean gentle rocking back and forth and playing a bit of tug of war with your movements. In, out and repeat. It doesn't really work for furious thrusting as it's quite thin and flexible, which makes those movements difficult and maintaining pressure on the g-spot impossible. This is a toy that has been designed with the idea of the user taking their time. So simply lie back, relax and slowly manoeuvre the toy until it pushes you over the edge into orgasmic oblivion. I haven't managed to squirt with the Charmer, like I could with the less intense but wider Curve, but I don't feel like I need to in order to enjoy this toy. I really like the stimulation that it provides to my g-spot as is. I personally would not have minded a larger girth so that I could then rotate the toy in order for the ridges to rub against the internal walls and provide a vaginal massage like no other, but I feel that it would have been too intense for a lot of people if it was wider. Overall, I feel that this is a toy that takes a relaxed, laid-back approach to pleasure. It's a toy that is meant to be savoured and enjoyed, rather than racing to the finish line for a quick fix. If you're looking for that quick-release dildo, then long may your search continue as this is not it. I feel that the Charmer is perfect for getting to know your body, particularly the g-spot, and learn how much pressure and texture you like. Me and my partner are quite new to pegging and we wanted to take our toys to the next level. My partner saw this on Lovehoney and thought it looked like “the next step”. We already had a Tantus toy which was straight with no nodules. We both thought about it and decided this toy would be the one to give a little more sensation and help my partner to endure more stimulation in a sensitive area. When this first arrived I kinda went big ummmm as when this had been recommended to me to get I hadn't quite been prepared for how long it would seem. Then that rapidly turned into an oh my and a deep itch to try it. Cute and well made but sadly underwhelming
I am a self confessed Tantus super fan - so much so that their products make up a massive percentage of my rather large dildo collection. With a Tantus product you can always rest assured that your toy is 100% body safe and fit for purpose thanks to their wonderful platinum cured silicone. The Charmer is the latest addition to my toy box courtesy of Lovehoney's review scheme. The Charmer is not necessarily a toy I would have purchased myself as I normally favour larger insertables but I decided to give it a chance. The toy comes in Tantus' standard cardboard box and clear plastic clamshell packaging. Nothing crude or offensive to see here, though I did think the box was a little large for this rather petite dildo. Lovehoney stock the Charmer in Tantus' "purple haze" which I'd describe as a dark lilac with a hint of shimmer - you can see the swirls where the silicone has been poured. It's an attractive toy. The Charmer is a slim dildo which would be ideal for users new to penetration, either vaginal or anal, or those who just prefer a little girth. It has four prominent ridges down its top side which look quite severe in the product photos but in reality are much gentler. I also own and love the Echo, also by Tantus, which has a similar texture though is much larger when the two are stood side by side. The Charmer comes to a slight point at the tip which is designed to aid insertion and the wide flared base make it safe for anal and suitable for harness play. The silicone itself is very firm which is typical for Tantus though the toy is quite flexible owing to how thin it is. I have only used the Charmer vaginally and sadly I find it a little underwhelming as it is so slim. The head is the widest point which is designed for G-spot (or prostate) stimulation which is does kind of manage to do, but as the shaft is so bendy I can't apply the sort of pressure to the area that I require. The raised bumps are quite nice if you like texture - it's not so severe that it produces that nasty grating sensation against my pubic bone that some toys do, it's more of a pleasant tickle, but it's not enough to get me off by any means. It doesn't take long for me to get bored and want to size up. Sorry! As I've already said, the Charmer is most suited for people who like slim toys or for anal use. It is beautifully made and guaranteed to be great quality, it just doesn't do much for me personally.

Credit to lovehoney for the awesome service and delivery. Upon opening the package I found both items neatly packed, an invoice and return to sender sticker if I felt the need to return something. Best strap-on dildo by far
After trying out various dildos in my OH's RodeoH briefs. We decided to buy the Tantus Charmer mainly because of the great reviews it already had. its a premium product and that certainly shows straight from the box. the texture is silky smooth. it is slightly larger than others we have tried whilst pegging, so was slightly nervous but once lubed up the tapered tip slips in with ease. once in it felt like a perfect fit, like it was made for me. as my OH started to pound me, the nodules rubbed against my G-spot and felt just amazing. orgasm'd within minutes. highly recommend this product. Its pricey but worth every penny.
Poor material, great shape
I used to be a fan of Tantus toys after buying the Bend Over Beginner kit, where I found 2 excellent dildos. However, the Tantus Charmer that I received it’s not even close in terms of the quality of the silicone. While my other Tantus dildos are glossy and smooth, the Charmer feels like rubber. The surface is slightly tacky and it seems to have a bit of a drag when you pass your finger on it without lube. The quality of the silicone is lower than some Lovehoney branded toys that I own. I wouldn’t even be sure it’s silicone if I didn’t boil it. The Charmer is also a bit wobbly and definitely not as firm as my other Tantus toys, but I don’t consider this to be a problem. The second thing I’ve noticed is that the Charmer is bigger than the description. I’ve measured it myself and its girth is 4.25’’ at its first bump. After the first bump it goes down to 4’’ until the second bump, then it drops down to 3.5’’ and then slightly slower. So the top part is visibly bigger than the stem. The big wide part is about 3’’ in length and then it becomes smaller. In my opinion a 4.25’’ girth dildo is not for anal beginners. I would consider this to be an intermediate dildo, so you’d better have some experience with anal play before buying this one. I wasn’t expecting this dildo to be so big so I was initially put off by this product. But I decided to try it anyway. Wow, I have to say that if feels amazing. The shape of this dildo is great. While it is a bit of a stretch to take it in, the tip is pointy (in a good way) to facilitate insertion. After you get the first bump in the dildo becomes slightly smaller, and then you push until the second one is in and your sphincter can “relax” on the smaller 3.5’’ girth. I like the feeling of having it bigger inside and my sphincter *not* stretched, similar to a butt plug. When you start gently moving it you feel the bumps stimulate the prostate in a satisfying way. The bumps are big enough to feel them, but not too prominent to be uncomfortable. I definitely feel a difference between the Charmer and a smooth dildo. I never had an orgasm from anal penetration alone, but with this dildo it’s the closest I’ve ever gotten. This dildo should be used more gently than a smooth one, so personally for pegging I would still prefer something with no bumps (and a bit smaller). The Charmer can be very satisfying for gentle solo play, concentrating on the feelings of the bumps on the prostate. If you’ve never had a hands-free orgasm I think you could give this dildo a shot – in spite of the poor quality of the silicone.
Fun Fun Fun
We saw this dildo whilst browsing through the LH site, and straight away it was something that I decided I wanted to try. We’d already tried the beginners strapon harness kit, and although this was a good entry level item into pegging, if you enjoy it you soon want something better. This dildo coupled to a Fetish Fantasy PVC harness was what we went for, and weren’t disappointed with either. The dildo itself has a flat flared base that would fit into any similar harness, and is quite solid but flexible. The head of the dildo is actually the widest point, so initial entry can feel a little bit of a stretch, but once the initial head is inside the rest is plain sailing. Better still the top of the shaft has bumps along the length, so once she’s fucking you the bumps are running back and forth along your prostate, which feels great. Because the head is a little larger, it also means it doesn’t easily come all the way out if she’s careful with her strokes! The best strap-on experience I've ever had
After months and many different dildo's i've finally found the long awaited anal orgasm. Fearing maybe I just couldn't i bought this dildo on a whim and my god, it was the best purchase i've ever made. G-Spot Joy
The Tantus Charmer has become my go-to tool for g-spot stimulation. It’s made of lovely pearlescent swirled silicone in a semi-gloss finish. I had initially felt some trepidation about the flattened tip and strongly pronounced ridges, especially since I had never had a textured dildo before, but the Charmer slides in without a problem, even without lubricant, though the moderately draggy material is improved by a squirt of water-based lube. The ridges are very noticeable in use, but the material is soft enough that they never feel uncomfortable. The girth is large enough to feel filling, but not too large for easy thrusting. The length is more than sufficient for me; I usually insert the first three ridges but rarely make use of the fourth. The base that makes this suitable for harnessed use is an adequate handhold for solo use, but I would be pleased if Tantus came out with a handled version. I’m used to g-spot dildos with pronounced heads that work by using a rocking motion to provide pressure on the g-spot. This toy works quite differently, using a thrusting motion that allows each ridge to jostle the g-spot in turn as the dildo is worked in and out. It feels wonderful, and would be of especial benefit to beginners at g-spotting because you don’t have to locate your g-spot to position the toy correctly. Just orient the Charmer with the ridges pointing toward your front, and they are certain to hit the correct spot as they move in and out. Slowly thrusting with the Charmer feels utterly fabulous. Each ridge produces a jolt of pleasure as it rubs my g-spot. It is very arousing, but it hasn’t ever taken me quite over the edge to climax on its own. However, warming up with just the Charmer and then adding a clitoral vibe when I’m all but there produces gloriously deep, lasting, mind-blowingly intense orgasms. If you are new to g-spot play or looking for a great mid-sized silicone dildo, I cannot recommend the Tantus Charmer highly enough.
Love at the first touch
I ordered a rather large selection of toys at once, and this dildo was just one of the many things in the box when I sat down to unpack it. I have a rather large collection of toys, but the excitement of 'let's see what we got' never gets old. I had more shiny, more tricky, more intriguing things in there, plus, the harness (designed for solo fun) I ordered it for has not arrived yet. So first I just set it aside, thinking, meh, just a dildo, no harness, doesn’t even vibrate. I only opened the box to take a closer look because I found the pearly, shiny colour interesting. I ordered a pink one, and the picture does not do justice to the colour. (Yeah, I like pink and shiny. So sue me.:) ) Why am I telling this all? Because once I got it out of the box I was just lost. The dildo felt incredible in my hand. I am not quite sure what I expected, but what I got was much better. It felt so... real under my fingers for being pink and silicone and not anatomically correct. It felt smooth and soft and flexible and yet firm and hard... I just had to try it right away. And how did it feel? I have to add that I am still not used to any kinds of penetration, but with a little bit of lube it slid in place with a minimum amount of discomfort, and after a few thrusts I started to reconsider the ridges on it from " slightly annoying too wide parts" to "omgod, that was goood that hit just the right spot" It was filling without being too big, and it gave me internal stimulation no other toy did, and I do have a large number or G-spot vibes too. I have to admit to orgasm I needed clitoral stimulation too, but I always did, so no big deal. That's why we have two hands. :) But otherwise, it felt right, it felt fantastic! Did not care there was no harness or no vibration. So I recategorised it fast from 'just a dildo'. Cleaning is easy, just was and dry, and done. Its waterproof too, and needs no batteries. The only thing I might dislike about it is the box - it is big, and impractical if you have to store a lot of toys, a little sac would have been appreciated. I have a few textured silicone toys but these mostly consist of vein-like ridges. The Tantus Charmer is also a smaller in girth toy to what I would normally choose when buying a silicone dildo. I felt that this toy would be a great warm-up toy, or perfect for those days when I’m not up to a toys which offer a girthier challenge. The toy arrives in a clear plastic box with red and white text scattered on it. On the box it states that the product is made from the highest quality hypoallergenic silicone. The box claims that Tantus toys should last a lifetime and need minimal care. The toy is resting in a clamshell insert, which is easily removed from the box. The toy itself is 6.5 inches in length and 4 inches in circumference at its widest point. The head of the toy is the widest part, and as you follow the waved ridges down towards the base the girth gradually gets smaller. Each wave’s peak is approximately 1.5 inches apart from one another. The tip of the toy is slightly flat compared to some tapered tipped dildos. The toy has a slight curve to it, it’s extremely flexible and can be bent almost in half without causing damage. Even though the toys shaft is flexible the silicone still has a firm yet soft feel to it. The toy has a flat base which is designed to fit o-rings which are 1.25 inches in circumference. The base has a slight suction to it, and is easy to hold. The toy is a beautiful mix of metallic purples; it almost appears as if the different purples have been tie-dyed into the silicone. The box says that this toy should be scent free, but upon removing it from the packaging I found that it had an over powering chemical smell. After several washes and leaving it out to air the smell has almost vanished, but still lingering ever so slightly. I’ve asked a few other people who own a Tantus Charmer and they don’t seem to have the same problem with the smell, they say theirs is odourless. When holding the toy horizontally the shaft does drop slightly, making me wonder how well it will stay positioned in a harness. You may want a dildo which is made slightly firmer, when using it for anal stimulation. When using the toy I found that even though the tip of the toy is slightly flattened it was still fairly easy to insert. The waves are rather prominent; if you are overly sensitive to textures I would recommend using additional water based lubricant. I was slightly worried that I wouldn’t benefit from the added sensations of the waves due to how thin the shaft is, but I was wrong, each wave could be felt strongly when rubbing against the front of my vaginal wall. The waves on the toy are a lot better than I had anticipated, and felt more pleasurable than the standard vein-like ridges commonly found on other silicone toys. The head of the toy did find my g-spot and gently bounced off it producing a gradual but strong orgasm. Even though the ridges appear to be rather jagged, they feel fairly gentle when rubbing against the vaginal wall and opening, while at the same time producing more noticeable sensations than a gentler waved dildo. As the shaft of the toy is very flexible it can be difficult to use when applying firmer and forceful thrusts. This toy is perfect for those who like gently stimulation on the g-spot, without the addition of too much girth. Cleaning the Tantus Charmer is easy, just apply your standard antibacterial wash and run it under warm water. The Tantus charmer is also dishwasher safe, and can be boiled clean. I did actually boil the toy in hope that it would remove the chemical smell; it seems to have mostly worked. The toy can attract dust, so I would recommend you keep the packaging box for storage. The toy can be warmed by placing under a warm tap for a few minutes. I found the soft silicone head to feel particularly pleasant on the g-spot once it had been warmed. Like most silicone toys, the toy is already at room temperate prior to insertion. Overall, I like the Tantus Charmer as a smaller girth dildo. Even though it doesn’t give you the sensation of fullness, the waved like ridges and bulbous head feels remarkable. This will be a regularly used toy, especially during foreplay. The Tantus Charmer is a great dildo as well as being made from excellent quality silicone, meaning that this toy should last a very long time.
Not bad at all
Got the pink one and could'nt wait for the wife to try it out on me, overall it felt very nice and the ridges certainly make a difference from a plain old dildo. My only gripe is it could have been a little bigger but this is just my personal preference.
Great quality, reliable contender
One of my best buys yet, I've had this one for a few years and it rocks. A good size to step up from fingers. Orgasm every time, once you've got the angle right, the ridges will take you to a plateu of ecstasy. An awesome tool.
Tantus Charmer as a supplement to the Bend Over Beginners harness
We had the purple one, and have been happily using it with the Tantus Bend over Beginners harness for a year or so. It is smooth fairly firm but flexible silicone, it looks and feels great. We use it almost exclusively with the Tantus Strap-On harness. K wears it to penetrate me, it isn't too thick but has ripples along it which give much more stimulation than a smooth dildo. Length and girth are great for a beginner as well as somebody who craves a good prolonged shafting. It is truly orgasmic. this is the only dildo that has caused me to cum from anal penetration without stimulation to my dick.
Straight and single male's venture into prostate massage
First of all, men, our butts are NOT our vaginas. Stuffing something into your anus is something completely different to vaginal sex. So keep that in mind when choosing a dildo for prostate massage. The quality of this dildo is super duper top quality. Very well made with no sharp edges. It is rated 3.75" in circumference which is plenty if not too much for male anal. Again, the anus is not a vagina and you'll have a hard time sticking something bigger than this in. At least it was for me (maybe I've got a tiny anus, dunno). For a first time male anal toy I'd probably recommend the Tantus Compact which is of 3" circ. This Tantus Charmer has these ridges which might be good for vaginal but will make things more difficult for anal beginners. Also it could be a bit softer. So, for male anal beginners, start with something smaller (3") and work your way up from there. Don't get too ambitious. For me this dildo didn't work as I envisioned; the odd feeling and awkwardness of using this (difficult to position yourself properly) overcame the good orgasms. Maybe I'll try it again later on or I'll find some use for it when I'm not single anymore ;)
