I bought this to replace my original battery powered romp thinking that it would be an upgrade. Unfortunately, I much prefer the old romp to this one. The shape and design of this make it much harder to find the right spot and level of pressure needed. Once you’ve found the sweet spot it does the job very well, but even after several uses it takes me a while to get it in the right place, which was never an issue with the original model. This one seems much more sensitive to how much pressure you’re putting on it which also makes things more difficult.

Poor design
I bought this when I was traveling to sub for my Womanizer pro. It was very disappointing. The clit piece isn’t deep enough to be effective. I suggest putting money towards a Womanizer instead.
Works for both of us

First of all I just love how pink this clit suction simulator is, so bright and fun for a bedroom toy! This is my first romp toy and it did not disappoint, although I am a big fan of its competitor this romp x shine has had plenty of use and pleasure from me.
I found it fit really comfortably in my hand with a good fit on my clit and the soft silicone is so smooth against my skin, it is one that I don’t get tired of using. Not bad, but not the best

It does this by using pleasure air technology. I received the Shine as a tester, and because I own a toy very similar to this one, I was super stoked to try it out and see how the two compared. The first time I used it, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed. It just seemed lacking. Not that it didn't feel good, it just wasn't what I had been expecting. But there is good news! After trying it again, my experience was much better and I liked the product a lot more. I think the problem the first time was that I hadn't used enough lube for it to get a proper suction. More on that later.
The Shine is interesting straight out of the box. I love the bad-ass pink color! It is made of super soft silicone that feels great against your skin. It has a nice rounded shape that makes it very comfortable to hold.
Using the Shine is super simple! It has only two buttons, which allow you to turn the device on, increase or decrease the intensity to your personal preference, and turn the device off. There are 10 different intensity settings to choose from. I recommend starting low and working your way up until you figure out what you like.
With a magnetic USB charging cord, the Shine is super easy to charge. With a full charge, you can get about 45 minutes of play time. The device is also super easy to clean. The face is removable, so you can be sure the device is getting completely clean after each use.
Now to get down to business. The Pros of the Shine: 1) The pleasure air technology uses contactless air pressure, which makes it easier for me to keep going after I climax the first time. This means that multiple orgasms are achievable with this device! 2) The size and shape of the device make it comfortable to hold in place. 3) The device provides nice, deep rumbles rather than just the buzzy vibes that you get with a lot of other toys. 4) The Shine could not be easier to use. It's as simple as can be! 5) The device is fully waterproof, providing even more opportunities for fun!
On the flipside, I do have a few Cons to list as well: 1) Even on its highest setting and with a full charge, I do wish the device was a bit more powerful. If those rumbles were just a bit stronger, this device would be out of this world! 2) Rather than just the 10 intensity settings, I think some different vibration patterns would have been nice as well. Sometimes it's nice to be able to change it up a bit. 3) The Shine is actually a bit on the noisy side. It's not going to wake the neighbors or anything, but it can definitely be heard from outside my bedroom door. 4) A storage bag would have been a great addition with this product. Luckily, I had an extra!
To sum it up, all in all, I would say the Shine is a quality product that can provide very enjoyable play time alone or with a partner. I definitely recommend it to anyone that enjoys this type of toy. Final note: Be generous with the lube! As I said early on, if you don't use enough, the device does not get proper suction, and your experience will not be as good as it could be.

The Romp toys are perfect for beginners or for anyone looking to test a toy out without splurging big money on one of the premium brands. The Romp Shine X Rechargeable is no different from the rest and I love it!
The toy came in a very vibrant hot pink colour box which matches the toy perfectly. Inside the box you get well written out, clear instructions. The instructions help you get the most out of your new toy. You also receive there usual sex positive stickers and charging cable as well as your suction toy.
The suction toy is petite and extremely light weight. I found it’s slim design easy to hold in just one hand. I loved the colour and the feel of the silicone. My toy arrived with some power but regardless of that I decided to put it on charge before using it. Charging is straight forward, you just have to gently press the charger in to the waterproof seal on the base of the toy. My first charge took around 30 minutes and it was fully charged and ready to go.
With suction toys I always prefer to use a bit of lube around the rim of the suction part, this just helps get a nice seal over my clitoris. I started off on the lower intensities and gradually worked my way up one at a time. I enjoyed how 1-4 felt very calm and relaxing and it really got me in the mood and highly aroused. From 4 onwards the suction started to get strong. You would think for a low price toy that the suction strengths would be compromised but not with the Romp Shine X. I will admit I personally couldn’t use anything higher then 8 as after that the suction got a little bit to much.
They toy is made very simple to use with only 2 buttons and the toy itself is not intimidating and easy to use for someone who is new to suction toys.
The noise is a little bit off putting but I have yet to find a suction toy which doesn’t give off any noise. They can be noisy things but definitely worth it for the few minutes of pleasure.
Cleaning is very easy due to it being waterproof and leaving to air dry is definitely the easiest way to get all the water out which gets stuck in the toy opening.
Again I am really satisfied with another Romp product.

A nice introduction to this type of toy
Good size with plenty of different speed settings, I've never used something like this before and after hearing reviews of ones my friends have I thought it was worth giving it a go.
Almost Rounding up to 5 Stars.
Okay, so to be honest my wife is becumming a bit of a connoisseur of Pleasure Air toys, but we're trying not to get snobby about it. As such we were thrilled to be able to try out the Romp Shine X as a more budget entry to the tech in exchange for an honest review.
Top line: this one works. We've tested a dud (looking at you, Mon Ami Rose) and have our favorite (We-Vibe Melt is *chef's kiss*). But this one solidly delivers. It takes and holds a solid charge, the controls are easy (power up, power down, no silly patterns, yay!), the head (nozzle) is more elliptical than circular which fits wifey's anatomy better, and the size/shape overall is such that it can be used with insertables (toy or partner) without trouble.
OK - for some critical feedback: at top strength, she still wanted another step up in power. Now this time it wasn't lacking enough that she didn't get there, but she several times went for another bump of power and there was nothing more to give. She's also one who likes to apply a firm manual pressure and move around the clit sucker and found that the protruding buttons made it more likely to accidentally bump the power down than when controls are flat or recessed.
Bottom line: we almost rounded up to a 5 star here - definitely more than 4 stars worth of performance, but maybe it's more like 4.25 than 4.5, so it rounds down, not up. There's nothing functionally *wrong* with it, outside of some personal preference. These Romp toys are super fun with the bright colors and each with sheet of sex-positive and cleverly phallic and vulvic (word?) stickers. It's quality silicone, charging is easy and seems to last.
I think this just lacked the wow factor in *our* use to really stick that 5 star knowing that the Pro40 is just a few bucks more on the price scale and is our baseline for the 5 star Pleasure Air toy. But if an extra $40 is a hardship, swing for this one. If you've had the Pro40 but found the head a tidge uncomfortable or never used the top power settings, maybe this is the replacement for you.
Excellent beginner suction
My OH tested the romp shine x and she did enjoy the ride, but compared to other suction toys this one was weaker in suction compared to some others. She used it after we had some fun time and it did give her an "O" but she thinks if she started not warmed up that it might take more time. She says it would have been a great "first time" suction toy, but I spoil her and she has about 4 or 5 different ones. The ease of handling was top scored, and she enjoyed the different intensities, but it was loud. There are vibrations to it as well and they are not the high pitched buzzing vibrations, but more of a low rumbly vibration which helped with her reaching the finish line! Colors are great and it's easy to clean, definitely a good toy, just not 5 stars. It was fun to test and we are planning to try it during PIV, so that might be interesting. More testing and reviews to follow!!

I received the discrete plain package in the post and couldn’t wait to try this out. Inside was the beautifully packaged cute, little toy. First thing to note that it is very feminine in its colourful design, nicely made with a soft, slightly silky feel and very easy to use.
Just two little buttons to turn on and control the power levels makes it nice simple to use. The power range may not be quite as strong as some of my other similar toys but this packs quite a punch and had me at the lower settings (3 times in a row !).
The removable head makes it quick and easy to clean and recharging was simple.
In short, its a great little toy, more affordable than some other and probably the best value that Ive used.

Does the job but there are better suction toys
Overall, the ROMP Shine X does the job and gets you there in the end but isn’t as good as other suction toys I’ve used.
The packaging of this toy is very nice. The colour scheme of the branding is very attractive and it has all of the necessary information on the box.
Upon opening the box, I was also really impressed by the feel of this toy. It fits in your hand well. The colour scheme is really nice. The materials are soft and feel high quality. The suction tip is removable for easy cleaning.
When using the toy, a couple of things were disappointing. Firstly, this toy is really very noisy. Much noisier than other comparable toys that I’ve used which is surprising given the price point. The noise somewhat disturbed my enjoyment when using the toy. Secondly, the toy only has two buttons and occasionally I found myself turning the toy off when trying to get the settings right - again somewhat disturbing my enjoyment. Personally I’d just prefer an on/off button.
The suction is generally good and enjoyable. The range of settings is adequate. The toy got me there in the end but there are better options available.

I recently had the pleasure of putting this gem through its paces, and here's my take on this delightful addition to my sex toy arsenal.
From the get-go, the experience was very good. In the box there is a playbook which contains clear cleaning and charging instructions, providing the customer with a guide that ensures the longevity of the toy. And the other face of the playbook is a thoughtful and cute touch, giving an idea on how to get started with this wonderful toy.
Speaking of aesthetics, personally I prefer other colors over pink, but here the two pleasing pink hues adorning both the packaging and the tool itself both add a cheerful pop and look very elegant thanks to the beautiful design. And the silky silicon material not only feels very smooth to the touch, but also ensures a steady grip, even when squeezed between the thighs for hands-free solo play.
Another cute surprise was that tucked away amidst the packaging there are some stickers, a delightful bonus that brought a smile to my face.
Size matters one could say, and in this case to me it's just right. In my opinion, the size of both the nozzle and the toy itself us extremely comfortable and makes holding and using it a real pleasure.

Easy to hold and use
This clitoral suction stimulator is easily charged by inserting the charging cable pin into the handle end of the toy.
Once fully charged, it fits comfortably into the hand, ready for play. The power buttons are found on the opposite side of the toy from the suction area. The larger top button is pressed and held down for a couple of seconds to turn it on, and is also used to increase power/suction. The smaller bottom button reduces power/suction and turns the toy off when held down for a couple of seconds.

I was delighted to set this to review recently. It’s not the usual kind of toy I’ve had previously so I was excited to see what it was like.
It arrived in the usual discrete packaging and I must say when I opened it the box itself the toy comes in is really fab, it’s sealed for hygiene and inside is the toy charger, instructions and some fun stickers.
I got it charged and had fun testing it. It is very different and if you are sensitive this might not be for you. The sensations are really fantastic and had me climaxing in no time. Initially I used this alone, and it is so soo good for solo play. Romp and rumbles
Well this was a delightful wee toy, I'm not even mad that its pink! This comes in a decent box with a plastic tray that I'll be reusing for storage, though currently it's sitting in a basket beside my bed within easy reach. I'm not sure what the name 'Shine' & 'Get your Glow On' means, I thought maybe it lights up or glows in the dark but thats probably me thinking too literally. Theres a power on light but this isn't unusual for rechargeable toys. The charging point is on the bottom end of the toy, beneath self healing silicone. This also makes it waterproof! The stickers that come in the box are a fun touch.
The toy has a gorgeous silicone that hairs and lint stick too, as is the same with all silicone toys that I own. It's just part of the deal at this point, just give it a rinse and its grand. The shape makes it really easy to hold, its not bulky so it fits my hand comfortably and fits my body without having a wide stretch. There are 2 buttons, on and off which also double as higher or lower intensity. The buttons are different shapes which makes it easy to identify them without looking at them. Each button is a 3 second hold to turn on or off.
The 0 shaped mouth of the toy protrudes about 1/2 an inch from the body and this design makes placement a little difficult. Whilst the shape of the toy is easy to hold, it also makes it easy to accidentally turn taking it slightly off the intended spot. Though saying that, the deep rumbles this toy provides, makes that only a slight problem.
The rumbles, wow this is rumbly! Its delicious from level 1 and I can actually build up to a fair few levels as it starts fairly low powered. There is a slight buzz vibration from around level 7 but rumble is still the overriding vibration. The jump between levels isn't massive, between 1 and 2 is barely noticeable but each one after that is noticeable but not huge. This makes it really easy to build up to the higher intensity levels. This toy has no patterns, for me thats a win but for any fans of the pattern, this toy may not be for you.
Its noisy enough in use, you can hear it outside a closed door especially at level 10. At level 5 you'd be aware of a noise but not necessarily what the noise is.
Overall, I'm a fan, the rumbles absolutely won me over.
