Find the Right Setting

I have other devices, including units at the same price point and I was intrigued with the strange design approach. I figured that it would offer something different to devices than other devices using pure vibration as the driving force. I wasn’t wrong, one roller is plain the other has nodules. Using lube is essential and comes into its own when rollers act on the frenulum. The rollers change direction and it’s the pattern of the changes that is the key.

I would say this toy would be good for you if you want to sit back and enjoy. What would two of these be like?
In the interests of science I sacrificed my own safety to answer the question of what would happen if I used two Orctan devices. Would it work? Would it tear my member into two separate parts? Would it create a black hole that would devour the Earth?
I bought a second Orctan, which is already my favourite device, to test what would happen with two Orctans working together. I find that one Orctan provides a great balance of stimulation and massaging without rushing things too much. The automatic mode, where it cycles through different speeds, provides an enjoyable rollercoaster of sensations. The ability to squeeze the rollers together adds another dimension and the handheld nature of operation means angling it around provides even more options for controlling the sensations.
My plan was to stack two of the Orctans so they would work on the shaft and the tip at the same time. I also swapped the rollers around so both of the smooth ones were down on the shaft. This left both of the knobbly ones to work the tip (which is pretty intense on its own). This took a bit of experimentation as the plastic bodies slid around and didn't really want to stack on top of each other. I used some foam blocks to fix this problem and just had to play with the angles to get everything lined up.
It should be noted that the motors have a safety clutch when things are not moving as they should (e. g. not enough lube). The clutch tends to kick in when used lower down the shaft as things don't move as much as they do closer to the shaft. This feature works well, but when stacking two it kicks in a bit more frequently. Using the smooth rollers on the lower of the two units helped with avoiding the clutch needing to kick in.
Once the stack was aligned and my member was inserted it very quickly proved this was an idea worth testing. The two sets of rollers were alternating between pulling in different directions and the same direction in different amounts (the modes don't just change the speed, they also change the rotation duration). I didn't start the cycle at the same time, so there was no synchronisation of the speed or direction. This resulted in a wider variety of stimulation and massaging due to the sets of rollers going from stretching things out to smushing them together. The bottom set of rollers would cause the tip to change position between the top set of rollers, making the most sensitive spot get tickled in continuously changing ways.
One Orctan can be a little heavy during use and is definitely not hands free (although it can be rested on a table edge and the belly if you are careful). But, the manual handling is part of tuning the experience to your preference. Two stacked on top of each other (while laying down) is quite a load and still needs some manual handling (especially when the two devices are really out of sync). The weight is quickly forgotten as the two devices (especially when they are out of sync) create a unique sensation that is impossible to ignore.
At times the intensity was almost unbearable, but then one device would change speed and things would mellow out, but not for long. After some time (when it gets bigger and more stimulated) it feels like someone else has taken control of things and you have no option except to reach full completion.
Beware, this configuration has only received minimal testing and could still have unpredictable outcomes. However, I am committed to perform further testing.

However, I found the charging port a little loose and this came away whilst unplugging the USB on the second usage which concerned me a little. Way better than I'd hoped for
I've always gone for the quirky things in life, and this didn't disappoint. THe range of roller movements is stunning, and the adjustablilty with the two halves makes for some blissful sensations.
It does take time to get your head (lol) round the variations and the best position for maximum pleasure, but it's worth the effort! For someone who likes to lie back and let the motors do their thing, maybe there could be a bit more depth to the sides to rest on your legs or pubis, as I find the rollers can struggle (as in start "chattering" as their built-in clutches slip to stop the motors from being overloaded) if they come into contact with your groin. However, I suppose this is necessary to stop them having a mangling effect on your testicles! Makes you wonder how early development testing went!!
My biggest gripe is with battery life - 20 to 30 minutes of delicious edging just isn't enough in my book, but I'm kind of greedy with self-pleasure now I'm single again. Solid build and functions well

Not great, broke after second use
The Good - the packaging is great, discreet and it comes with a bag for storage. It is something different and innovation is always worth trying. . Lube everything up and it is nice enough time. There is a difference as you go through the settings and it does get more intense.
The Bad - there is just not enough variety and while it does get more intense, it's simply not enough and in three sessions this has not got me close. The primary sensation is the movement of the rollers and ranges from a half turn, to a fractional movement - this is to mimic going in and out of a mouth and maybe that's true to nature when you have no limiting factor, maybe go for it and sustain the direction / feeling for more than a second at most.
The Ugly - to clean the rollers you pinch them, tilt to the side and they pop out. They are then really easy to clean and dry. However, after my second use, when popping the rollers out the small plastic piece that transfers motion from the motor to the roller broke in two. Fortunately superglue fixed this and it works as before but had I paid full RRP and not got this for a massive Black Friday discount I would have been really unhappy. Something costing this much should be far more robust when cleaning.
The perfect pasta maker
This toy is seriously underrated. It's not cheap and looks like a pasta maker. Luckily, due to these factors it is often is heavily discounted. Having said that, after using it for the past couple months, I would pay full price to replace it if I had to.
The thing about it is, is that it takes some time to get to know it. If pounding a fleshlight is your only path to nut town, then you might have to adjust your expectations and take the road less travelled.
It is really well made and of robust design that folds in both directions which increases the pressure and changes the angles. I will first say, as I like to use things hands free, it was very finicky for me to get the right angle without obstructing the rotating parts of the toy so I have to prop it up at the right place for it to work but it is doable.

Fun and Functional design
I've wanted to try the Orctan since it's release. When it went on sale, I quickly bought one.
I'm glad that companies are trying new designs. I like that the Orctan diverges from the traditional masturbator design of textured sleeves.
The orctan uses two rotating silicone rollers that simulate the head and shaft of the penis. The frame of the Orcan is hinged making it easy to adjust size. It has 9 vibration patterns and 3 programs which randomly rotate between the vibration patterns.
The sensations that the Orctan provides is initially pretty subtle, but build up over time. The Orctan works best when I am relaxed and have plenty of time to enjoy without distractions.
One roller is smooth and the other roller has small nubs. The rollers are interchangeable. I like to put the textured roller at the bottom of the toy, so that it provides more stimulation to my frenulum.
On of my favorite features of the orctan is that recharges with a USB-c chord. I have way to many proprietary charging cords so I'm happy I can recharge the Orctan with the same cord I use for my phone.

Honestly was super excited to receive my Orctan, unfortunately just doesn’t work for me. If you have a wide girth the motors will just lock and jam and you won’t really get any satisfaction out of this toy. Opening the package, you can tell it is a high quality device built to last. It feels heavy in the hand, but in a good way making it feel more like a power toy than any other toy I own.
Once I read the instructions, I found the controls easy to use - almost like holding an Xbox controller with the buttons easily accessible when holding it with two hands. I had looked at the Orctan multiple times over the last few months, was intrigued by the concept, and each time it was on offer, I nearly hit the buy button but resisted. This time, I thought, "Just go for it," and I'm so glad I did. When I received it, the Orctan was larger than I expected, but it has fantastic build quality and should last years.
Anyway, I couldn't wait to give it a good tryout. As others have said, you need a good water-based lube. I found it's not so much the quantity used, but which parts of the rollers you apply it to. First time I found most of the lube ended up on parts of the rollers that made no contact. Once I got this sorted, I was ready to go. I would say I'm above average in length and girth, but I had no problems. Only had the auto-stop kick in when I pushed my penis too far into the rollers. Remember, this is designed to tease the head of the penis and frenulum , so that's where to concentrate. I sat back, inserted myself, and started to try the different modes. They are all great, but I really enjoyed the auto modes, as these really help with a slow build as the speed and direction of the rollers change. For the first 5 mins, I thought, this feels good, different but good, but I thought I'd probably end up resorting back to the tried and tested hand. But no, just chill out, lay back, and close your eyes. After about 10 mins, the build really started. All of us blokes know the feeling, the waves building and building and them wham. It sounds a cliché, but my eyes literally rolled to the back of my head. Now I'm no teen or twenty something, but I came hard, and I mean hard. I couldn't believe the volume. I felt 20 years younger. Looking at the reviews I was really looking forward to getting this but what an anticlimax

Unbelievable
I have been intrigued by this toy for sometime, only put off by the price. I wondered how such a device could emulate oral as well as it claims to do without any kind of suction or sleeve/chamber. Now it has come down to £90, I felt that was a reasonable enough price to chance it!
As many people have already said, it is a very well built and stylish unit. The controls are intuitive and simple enough.
It came charged already, which is great. However, after I had a play about with it for about an hour, testing the controls, etc, it ran out of power so I had to charge it before using it properly.

I purchased this toy a few weeks ago, and it finally arrived. With all the positive comments about it, I couldn't wait to use it.
I have to say, I was not impressed. Definitely a let down. Especially for the price. Fortunately I got it on sale. Its definitely not worth its regular retail price.
Its a good quality and robust toy. It just didn't deliver very satisfying orgasms. Ive used it a few times now. It didn't deliver very much stimulation. I enjoy my vibrating penis massager much much more, and it was much cheaper.
The rollers are made of good quality silicone. You can choose tons of patterns and even a series of preprogrammed patterns that will repeat themselves. It's pretty much silent too, which makes it nice to use when people are around.
You can adjust the pressure around your penis, which helped some with stimulation, but it wasn't very gratifying. It took me forever to have orgasms, and they weren't very powerful.
The toy requires two hands to use. I had to constantly maneuver it all around to give different sensations. Its difficult to hold onto and maneuver because lube gets all over the toy. Very distracting.
Its kind of bitch to clean too. Very time consuming. The rollers are not very easy to pop in and out. They can be washed normally, but the body can't get water on it.
Its got about an hour charge time and an hour of play time. Its pretty large for a sex toy. Again, it was difficult to maneuver, especially with lube on it.
I'm pretty disappointed in it. I probably won't use it much. I much prefer penis vibrators and the ability to have hands free orgasms. Ive got a few vibrating penis massagers, and all give me more powerful orgasms compared to this toy.

Low bang for the buck
Before purchasing, I read through all of the other reviews and decided I was happy enough to personally give it a try. While I’m no rich-lister, the price was ok for me at the time, and I was curious.
It’s a well-made bit of gear, beautifully packaged. But the experience for my own package was a bit of a letdown.
The product does what it says. Lube up the two rollers, put your penis between them and switch it on and at some stage later you’ll have an orgasm.
I’m personally rocking your stock-standard, military issue erection, length and girth. The girth is key. I’m I think 4.7inches around when hard and, while you can slightly adjust the space between the rollers, I always found them a bit too tight.
The rollers themselves are - like the rest of the unit - absolute quality. I wish there were side-rollers too. In use I didn’t feel like the rollers worked enough of me.
The varying roller-patterns are impressive, and do exactly what they’re supposed to. As others have said, some vibration would have been a nice addition.
Then there’s the fact that it’s quite a sizeable bit of gear, and you have to hold it a little awkwardly for quite a while if you want that ‘lay back and enjoy’ experience.
It’s not something you can easily prop between some pillows or lay somewhere to feed yourself into .. you can try, but it really does need you lying or sitting, and two hands.
Clean-up is mildly problematic. The rollers can be tricky to get off, and ever more so to put back on. It’s hard not to get come on the unit, even if you’re trying not to.
Great, great idea, really well executed. But just doesn’t really hit the mark either. It’s an odd one. Even if it were 80% off, I might suggest trying something else first.

OK, but could be better, some major flaws
Bought while on offer and the price still seems very hight for what it is. Nothing against LH this is aimed at the manufacturers.
When it works it feels nice, but there are much better male toys about.
I'm an average to very slightly upper average size, but was having difficulty using it even on its widest setting.
It's quite bulky and heavy for what it is and the battery life is terrible. 2hrs charge for 1 hrs play (if you're lucky), and checking battery level is a no, the only way to tell is it starts flashing when you have about 3-5 min of battery left, and you can't use it plugged in.
The programs are really basic, no speed ramp or waves or alternate directions, just the rollers moving back and forth at a few speeds. With todays tech there really should be more customisation options or ways to program your own.
Tied to the size, the rollers are way too firm, almost solid, like a rubber ball, if they were a bit softer they could be more accommodating. And it eats lube!
There's potential there and could be a good device with a bit more thought. But as it is I can't recommend
Not "one size fits all"
Love the idea of this toy, and given the VERY high price, was really hoping that it would be brilliant, which in most respects it is.
The packaging is really high end, and the toy itself feels incredibly well made, but it suffers from two fatal flaws. Firstly, the safety cutoff cuts in the second you apply any pressure to the rollers.
Secondly, the design allows it to fit smaller men, but those of us that are well endowed basically can't use it - the safety cutoff stops it from being usable.
I have to praise lovehoney on their customer service though - within an hour of raising a request with their team, a refund was actioned without question or quibble, so bravo for that.
Feels great and is super quiet!

Solid Build Quality But Lacks Unified Functionality (A very expensive paperweight)
At first glance and touch you can notice that it was made and designed by a true craftsman yet it lacks the ability to dial in on its functionality so it’s kind of like a big game controller that allows you to play the game but just when your about to win (explode) it completely changes the whole game and thus creating a complete and utter free for all where it’s nearly impossible to win (orgasm) for something that was originally £220 I would of expected it to make the tea’s and bring them in when I’m finished I would of at that price !

Pretty much as the title says. I got this because it was on sale for quite cheap, especially compared to the normal price. However, I felt nothing, and I mean nothing in the slightest. I lubed both of the rollers well and got my erect penis lubed as well. With high hopes based on other reviews I put my penis in it and it was horrible. It actually made me flaccid with how little I felt.
Cleaning isn't too difficult, the rollers can be a pain sometimes but nothing too bad. One quarrel I do have with this product is the charging. It takes USB-C, meaning you cannot submerge it. There is a cover for the USB port, so there is that. But I still would not recommend submerging it just because you have the cover on, as they can be unreliable.
Design is really nice and, probably its only good feature, it is really easy to use and the controls are nice, but this doesn't really matter when none of the modes feel good.

Well, that was a very pleasant surprise!
So, I'll start by saying I was skeptical. I figured it might nicely edge me at best, not deliver a toe-curling orgasm like it did. Details matter though so here we go. 1. It's not light, but it's well balanced. Its' weight was a bit concerning in hand but in use I didn't feel my hands or wrists becoming fatigued. 2. It came pre-charged which was nice, that gave me the ability to wash the rollers and get right into it. 3. It does like lube, but not stupendous amounts as a few others have said. A little water based lube went a long way. 4. Clean up was a bit awkward but I didn't want to get the body of the device wet (which it can be, just not soaking). That meant I had to get the rollers out while they were still, well, in a used state, which made them slick. But you can indeed wash the rollers off while they're still in the body of the device, just don't submerge it or get water in the USB charging port. Easy to use buttons, nice tactile feel, and easy to use when your fingers are a bit slick, but navigation is a bit strange as one set changes programs and the other flips you back to "manual". I get it, but it caused me a bit of frustration when I was trying to find that "just right" setting. 6. Insanely quiet, they aren't kidding. Only when I got a bit too much of myself between the rollers did it make any sort of noise, and that too was still quiet. 7. As far as size accommodations go I'm a thick dude down there and that was of some concern as several reviews cited issues with it's ability to handle girth. I'm here to tell ya, unless you're a literal beer can, you'll fit.
Overall impression, originally I was worried this was going to be a fun but ultimately non-orgasm producing purchase. The mixed reviews always cited that it was a slow-burn, or great for edging and only a few said it was good for the whole ride. Yes, it's a slow burn, that's true, it takes a bit to find the right setting and position to get it to feel good, and even then it won't make you have an orgasm immediately. But, if you let it work it's magic, sit back and enjoy the sensations, it will indeed reward you for your patience. I absolutely feel it's worth what I paid for it, the build quality, functionality, and overall use of it are all worth it. It's definitely a novel device, it likely isn't for every guy out there, but it definitely worked for me without a doubt.

Context

Appearance and build
The Orctan doesn’t look like any other product on the market. It’s a unique and attractive design. The build quality is exceptional.
Performance
This is where personal reviews of such products have their limitations. I can only comment on my own experience and make some limited extrapolations for other potential users.
That being said, if you like hard, intense sensations - look elsewhere. If you prefer an “engulfing” experience such as that provided by products like Fleshlight, the Orctan is not for you.
However, if you enjoy sensations directed at your frenulum and glans, you will find the Orctan quite interesting. Does it mimic getting a blowjob? Yes and no. The sensation from the Orctan is pleasurable but not 100% realistic. Then again, what machine could possibly replicate the experience of getting a BJ? Like others have said elsewhere, it’s a slow build-up with the Orctan with a nice pay off at the end. At first, it took me 30 minutes to achieve orgasm. By my third attempt, it was down to 15 minutes as my body became more familiar with the device.
The design is well thought out. It’s so quiet my wife once did not realise what I was up to. The hinged designed allows me to adjust the pressure to my liking. One can also decide how they like the smooth and textured rollers to be oriented to their anatomy. Personally I prefer the textured roller against my frenulum. Clean up is considerably easier than sleeve type masturbators.

I have read that other users found that the Orctan’s safety cutoff kicked in too often for their liking. I have not had that occur at all and wonder if those users forced the Orctan to “clamp” tight on their anatomy. This is contrary to the design of the Orctan. Again it reflects how the device is not ideal for those who seek hard intensity.
Others have complained about the device’s weight and discomfort in holding it for a long time whilst waiting for it to slowly bring on orgasm. I have not had that problem as the Orctan sits nicely on my abdomen while it works away. Maybe my anatomy suits the design - 174cm and 76kg. I also don’t find myself using a lot of water based lubricant. I probably average 15ml per session but your mileage may vary depending on which product you use.
The Orctan usually retails for around AUD$350 but I managed to get one for AUD$175. For me, that’s a more reasonable price. Would I have bought it at full price? Probably not. Buying sex toys is always a risk as there is no guarantee that they will work on your anatomy, preferences etc. But at $175, I was willing to risk it. I am glad I did. Since purchasing it, I have not touched my other products.
Final thoughts
I am partial to the design and function of the Orctan. I find it easy to use and gives me the type of stimulation I respond to. The automatic modes are a delight.
Don’t buy this product if you crave firm, intense stimulation. If you’re keen on the tightest Fleshlight models or suffer from “death grip”, the Orctan will disappoint. Although, another way to look at it is that the Orctan can help “recalibrate” you away from needing intense stimulation. It’s like re-training the brain. In that way, it might be useful for those trying to get better at partnered sex.
Fantastic device. I’m definitely on the more sensitive side, and this thing was great. More of a slow burn, but very intense once I get there. The build quality is great. This is good fun and a great addition to my kit of toys. I'd love to see them make a "max" version that has multiple sets of rollers stacked (2 would probably be enough to get a feeling of penetration beyond the head... maybe 3 would be best). If they could do that and still make it adjust tightness it would be insane.
I tried pair it up with a vibrating sleeve around the shaft and this thing working the head, but the vibrations of the sleeve kind of "drowned out" the gentle but VERY pleasant things this toy was doing.

The speed of the mode is too slow for me, take me quite awhile to reach climax.

Best Masturbator I've used!
This toy is insanely good. I wasn't expecting too much as I've used a lot of masturbator toys which felt good, but nothing mind blowing. This on the other hand... I put my dick in and it felt like someone was jerking me off pulling my foreskin up and down. Just WOW! The ribbed roller feels really good on the head and it's a slow burn... but when it makes you cum... it's explosive. Only problem is the cleanup the rollers are difficult to detach when there's lube on them and I noticed the silicone is wearing away where the rollers meet the motor as they are rubbing against the silicone every time they have to be removed and cleaned. TL;DR

First of all, the design is brilliant. The box is very attractive and masculine. The device is extremely well made with lots of thoughtful touches. It is clear that a lot of design thinking has gone into the product.
It comes with a small USB-C charging cable and a black, durable draw string bag which is nice touch. Nothing else is included or needed.
Orgasm Rating
It is very very good for the intended audience but I could see how it would frustrate others and lead to a weak orgasm. If you have experimented with edging before and you like your partner to use a soft blowjob technique then the toy will tick a lot of boxes. The various pressures and licking sensation are as close as you can get to the experience without another human. The rollers simulate a tongue running up and down the frenulum over and over and the toy can be programmed to take 'long lick' or 'short licks' or mixed/varied licking.
As a fan of edging, particularly where my partner had tied me, I found the orgasms to be some of the best I have experienced solo.
You can vary the angle manually and find the exact sweep spot on the glans that you want to simulate your orgasm but the shaft itself is untouched unless you manually stroke it with your other hand.
It is easy to add extra lube as you play but you do not need a lot of lube at all.
How to Use Technically

You lube yourself and the rollers and then slide into the toy so that your head is coaxed between both rollers. Your fingers can control a number of settings which are on the top of the device on both the left and right (where the L2/R2 buttons would be on a console controller).
It is solid but not overly heavy and the toy has a soft hinge which lets you open or close the device to the relevant pressure you want.
Cleanup

Full of promise - fails to finish
I’ve read the other reviews (of course I did before buying this, its over £200!) Many praise its orgasm rating and this is where I have to suspect many of the reviews. But to start at the beginning.
The engineering on this toy is truly wonderful. It looks and feels like a sex toy equivalent to a high end supercar, a Lamborghini or Bugatti. Moreover when it is charging, or indeed when in use the plethora of red LEDs is full of drama. However, this is where the glowing reviews end. But ultimately it is all about using it and this is not quite as rosy a picture.
It needs a lot of lubrication and when it envelopes the penis it feels very nice indeed. It is touted as being very silent and this is certainly true. If you wake up in the middle of the night feeling horny but you don’t want to awaken the other half then this is possibly the toy to use (assuming all those bright red LEDs won’t wake her of course). The hinge mechanism is easy to use and has enough stiffness that whatever width you set, stays there. The rollers impart a very pleasant sensation and the various buttons (four of them) yield in interesting and pleasant variety of sensations. However, after enjoying these for a while it is not unreasonable to think that an orgasm might now be a nice thing. This is where the problems arise. If you increase the pressure on the sensitive parts of your penis one or both of two things happen. Either the failsafe kicks in which means that the rollers stop rolling and the thing just growls at you or the rollers spin your penis out. Neither particularly satisfying an outcome. Whilst there is some variation in vigorousness and duration of each back and forth turn of the rollers none of the settings, including the double button push ‘climax’ function will actually take you over the edge. Ultimately I find the only way to actually achieve an orgasm is to thrust back and forth manually and not rely on the rollers at all which seems a bit pointless bearing in mind the cost of the toy.
Once you have finished up cleaning it is a doddle which is one blessing I suppose. After cleaning and drying, you’ll want put it on charge, especially as it takes so long to get anywhere. The charging port is a USB C and, whilst the supplied cable is very short, the use of this connector type is a welcome addition to a household festooned with USB C cables.
In summary, this is a well engineered product that really needs a little more thought to also be classified as a great product. For the price it is disappointing but cost aside it is an interesting addition to the toy box. Ultimately my advice would be to make sure that if you indulge in any solo sessions with this toy, that you have alternative means to finish off when you want to orgasm, whether that be the Mark 1 right hand or any one of a dozen other Lovehoney toys.
Expensive masturbator, but worth every penny.
Firstly the price is steep but taking into consideration of the first 10 uses, I can honestly say that this toy is amazing. The design is very sleek and modern, I love the carbon fibre effect. The buttons are very easy to press. The silicone rollers are supple and easy to clean.
The variations of the modes are great. Charging time is very good, however the supplied USB charger cable is cheap and very short. End result is a top notch piece of technology that gets orgasms every time.
Well Engineered Pleasure
I've been burned by assuming cost=quality before, but this toy really is very well made. I'm a larger-girthed chap (8" long; 6.5" around) and our blessing/curse is that many products don't allow much wiggle room, and - based on a couple of other reviews - I was worried that would be the case here.
I found this toy excellent. I opened it at 9am and I've used it three times since then. It's proving problematic for getting work done, in fact. The oral sex feeling along the head and frenulum is quite uncanny and the three variable modes feel very real in terms of varying sensation.
It feels very well engineered and is very easy to clean. If you do have a larger penis though it is only going to fit down the first couple of inches before the torque-limiter kicks in. This is where it does the most work though so this is no real hardship.
It's also really quiet, save the unavoidable slurping. On its slower intensities you'd barely hear it in the same room.
Overall, this is the first premium toy I've had no regrets in buying. It's really excellent.
A premium experience with a premium price tag to match
This is like nothing we have in our toy box, many of the toys promise to recreate a blow job style experience but this one is the closest I have found.
It is expensive, it is weighty and I was lucky enough to be able to test it.
It looks very stylish and despite an initially intimidating manual (how many sex toys come with a full manual?) it was pretty easy to use.
With nine settings and three randomised programmes there is a lot to offer here.
I've never seen a toy that resembles a classy torture device so there was an element of fear when first trying it.
There's no need for fear though as the experience is soft and unusually for most male toys it's one you can start using without having to be fully erect. The earlier settings can help move things along pretty quickly!
The sensation is like a tongue and roof of mouth massaging and visually it can look a little weird as you're pulled back and forth in various ways. The weirdness gives way quickly once I relaxed into the sensations.
Lube is a must but despite some of the dire warnings, I have found saliva works well to keep things moving.
There is a safety involved to prevent injury but I didn't find it as distracting as others did.
The range of sensations and speeds means you have a surprising amount of control over the speed and intensity of the experience.

Orctan is my first device that I really like to use regularly. I've tried a few things, but they were always too noisy, too difficult to clean and dry, too vulgar or just not pleasant.
The design and quality of workmanship are outstanding. The device lies well in the hand and works practically noiselessly. It can be cleaned and stored very quickly. The device is suitable for any penis length and penis thinness. I myself am probably a standard size, at least I just fit into normal condoms. The soft rollers themselves still give a little. Guys with thicker dimensions, on the other hand, will find that there is very much a maximum width.
It is important to understand that this is neither a vibrator nor a highly motorised up/down-milking machine. Rather, it is a real massage and stroking machine. The rollers gently stroke the surface of the skin. It is most like a very pleasant licking job. Accordingly, the orgasm builds up rather slowly, but then I experience really intense pumping climaxes. Perfect for all men who are into edging and take their time for sensual pleasure.
Please note that you should use plenty of lubricant. Without lube it would probably be painful.
The device is very expensive, but also much better made than my previous toys (which all ended up in the rubbish or in a box in the attic). I use Orctan very regularly and I see no reason why that should change!
A high quality toy which totally failed to fulfil it's brief.
In all the reviews I have written for LH I have always tried to be positive but honest. In the case of this very expensive toy the positives are very few. It looks good and feels like a well made high quality item and the instructions are good. Unfortunately that's the full extent of the virtues of this item.
I have a very average penis in terms of length and girth but no matter how much water based lubricant I used (and I used a lot) and no matter how I adjusted the gap between the rollers the textured roller simply stopped rotating unless it was positioned EXACTLY at the narrowest point at the base of my glans where, if it did finally begin to rotate, it was irritating rather than stimulating. This was not a one off-incident. It happened every time I used it. I realise that this is a safety feature of the toy but the cut off threshold is set far too low.
I was also disappointed to find that as the faster patterns were chosen the rotation of the rollers decreased so that they were more like oscillations rather than rotations. I found the 3 pre-programmed randomised patterns irritating rather than interesting or exciting too.
At no point when using this toy did I get close to orgasm. I found it initially frustrating then ultimately annoying. In the end I finished myself off each time with my Fleshlight Quickshot which cost about one tenth of the price of the Orctan and works every time.
In all conscience I cannot recommend this toy at all.
Disappointing
There are a number of small issues with this, and one big one.
The big one for me, is that this is absolutely not a one size fits all. I’m a larger chap, and this doesn’t do well to accommodate me. It just isn’t wide enough. So it’s use is very limited, and I have wasted a huge sum of money.
Smaller issues:
>once you lube it up, you can’t put it down anywhere without getting lube everywhere.
>very weighty and uncomfortable to hold
>rollers are crap at maintaining heat (yes, you should warm them first, no they don’t self warm), and because they’re coated in lube and moving about, they cool down, so your robotic BJ is a cold one
Fantastic
I was apprehensive about this one due to the price. I managed to get it on a sale which lessened the blow and so I pulled the trigger.
I have experimented with male toys for a while and whilst I have enjoyed some, been disappointed with some I hadn’t found anything that really left me feeling like it was worth getting out/setup or clean up after. This is not a milking machine, the safety cut out activates early on so I don’t think you would ever hurt yourself. It’s a gentle massage that targets the sweet spot you put it on and it just feels fantastic. It takes me a while to get to the big O but I’m very much okay with that as it’s a gradual build up that feels great along the way and leads to a huge orgasm.

Silent ecstacy!
I received my Orctan today. I charged it up and have only used it once, but already I can say it is superb! Definitely the closest thing I have experienced (from any sex toy) to real oral sex.
You can adjust the 'pressure points' and the 'grip' easily. It is very well made, and so amazingly quiet in use (nobody else in the house will hear it for sure). The two rollers can be removed easily for cleaning, and it is easy to adjust and control. My machine is virtually silent (and completely so under the covers)
I particularly enjoyed the 'automatic' modes where the machine randomly changes the massage patterns, as it feels like someone is pleasuring you - and you have to wait to see what happens next!
I also liked the safety cutout - if the machine senses too much strain on the rollers it temporarily cuts out. This prevents you going too extreme and hurting yourself. Just make sure you lube yourself, and the rollers, well before use.

I will start off by saying this is probably now my favourite toy - it is by far the closest think to real oral sex and I'm amazed no one had thought of doing something like this before!

The "Ferrari" of Male Masturbators!

As usual, Lovehoney was fantastic with the delivery and when I opened the packaging I was so impressed (and excited) to see the really well designed, expensive feeling packaging. It comes in a sturdy black box and inside is the device (I'll explain it in the next paragraph, but as a heads up, it is honestly amazing), the charging cable and a really detailed and useful manual. It has several languages inside and personally, an odd point haha, I really liked that German was a primary language, as it made it feel more premium and almost "german engineered" haha! :) I really think the packaging definitely justified the high price and the storage bag included is a really nice inclusion with the item.
Now, the male masturbator itself, is AMAZING! I LOVE IT! It feels like the most masculine item I know own in my home, which is a really tough hurdle for Orctan to have overcome and they did a fantastic job with the design! It literally looks like a "Ferrari" with the exceptional design and when you turn on the device, these amazing, red lighting streaks shine up along the edge of the device and it looks AWESOME! The charging with the device is brilliant, it is recommended to take 2 hours to charge, but I have found that it takes less time, which is great, but honestly 2 hours isn't long in the first place! I really like the rollers, one is ribbed with lots of dots and the other is completely flat and soft, the way it came originally was with the ribbed roller underneath, but after trying the product a few times I found that it was better swapped the other way around, with the ribbed roller on the top because it applied even heavier pressure on the most sensitive part of my penis! Also, I read on the Octan website and in the manual that it looks like in the future you will be able to buy different rollers to swap them in, which is really exciting as it makes the product more long term, because you can keep the outer handle/electrical device but you can change the rollers to have a varied, personalised experience with the sex toy! Another big positive for the male masturbator! :)
An important thing to note, the device has 9 settings, but none of them have the rollers spinning around 360 degrees constantly so there is no risk of Indiana Jones trapping yourself in the rollers! :')
The 9 settings are very different, some are faster and some have very different patterns of rhythm! You can swap between these modes at any times using the two buttons on the top of the device, which honestly (when you are using it) feels like you are holding a handheld games console (most like the old PSP haha) because of how sturdy it feels and where the buttons are located which makes it feel even more expensive and luxurious! Also, an amazingly useful feature is that if you push these two buttons down at the same time, it immediately goes to an "extra fast" setting to help you to orgasm, which is another feature that is really impressive and shows how the team at Octan have made sure to design a fully premium male masturbator that includes every possible feature to give you the very best masturbation!
Also, behind the two main left/right buttons (to change between the 9 modes) there are two other buttons lower down on either side of the device, which allow you to move between the other "random" settings, which has 3 modes, 1 mode which changes randomly between settings 1, 2 and 3, 1 mode which changes randomly between settings 4, 5 and 6 and 1 mode which changes randomly between settings 7, 8 and 9. This was actually a feature I wasn't too interested in, but after having tried it, I preferred it to manually moving between the modes because having the random change of massages felt more exciting and actually helped to make the masturbation session feel better! I really would recommend trying each of the 9 modes and the 3 random settings because they are all very different and none of them in particular is any better or worse at making you orgasm, but pushing down on the two buttons to go to the fastest mode really does the trick in helping to push yourself over the edge!
In terms of cleaning the device, it is really easy to take the two rollers out of the device and because of the spongy texture it is quick to clean! Also, because the USB charger port has a cover, the device itself is easy to clean, although you should be careful to make sure to not get water under the cover or else you could damage the device. It has a storage bag, but personally I really like the box that the device came in, so I have been storing it in the bag and placing it inside the box. I can't quite give it up! :)
Also, another really important note, the device is super quiet, it is marketed as being quiet and it honestly is! However, when one of the rollers feels too much pressure, it cuts out, which causes it to come to a half, but continue vibrating, and this sound is actually louder than any other sound the device makes, so it is very silent apart from when the device locks up, which depending on your skill in using it (which took me a little while to get the hang of it) could result in it getting "locked up" quite a few times. The way that you manage the pressure (or lessen the pressure) is using the hinge to tilt the upper (or lower) part of the device closer or further away from the other roller. This is useful for both making sure that the device can fit around your penis size, but also so it can be positioned towards the best part/angle of your penis! It works best when the device as a whole doesn't move too much, which means it does take longer to orgasm, but it is really worth the wait haha! :)
To summarise, out of the 5 male masturbators that I have bought previously, this is 100% the best one that I have ever bought and I love the design so much! Firstly, wow. Specifically wow because this is the first of any toy I’ve used that’s actually made me spontaneously think of blowjobs (unlike the many many toys which make the claim). If the internals are as well built as the exterior I would bet on this lasting a very very long time. The only thing I can find fault with is that there’s a knack to getting the rollers off -- so I can see why the manual says to make sure long nails don’t dig into the silicone. The controls are absolutely impeccable, they’re intuitive and interacting with them is just like using a gamepad.
