Nice upgrade
I had the smaller version of this plug and throughly enjoyed it to the point it stopped working. 😳😭😂 Being more experienced with back door play now, I decided to upgrade to the medium size. Wow! It is quite a bit larger than the small size, and definitely provides a much greater feeling of fullness, if that is your goal. It also hits the P-spot nicely.
Vibrations are solid with 3 intensities and 3 patterns, but it is not too loud. I also love the remote for changing between modes. This makes it so much easier than blindly fumbling around to find the button on the bottom of the unit.
My only complaint is the rings around the base. With extended use they can cause a bit of irritation. Not sure why they are there to begin with.

Size- wise, it's probably not for a beginner but if you have been using toys for a while you should find that it will fit quite comfortably. It's got a nice taper if you need to build up to getting it all the way in anyway.
The material is silicone and feels nice and smooth to the touch. It's nicely tapered for easing into it. It's got ridges on the neck which feel quite nice as they slide inside as a little reward to yourself when you get it in.
The quality is very good and it doesn't feel like it's going to break out fall apart. I also have the large and after several months of use I'm very happy with the quality of these toys.

I’ve worn it for hours at a time.The remote is easy to use; just tap through the settings (or use the button at the base of the plug).I haven’t tested the working distance for the remote but it definitely works without needing to be in the line-of-sight.It is easy to charge (both the plug and the remote) with the magnetic USB cable – the plug takes about an hour to charge.And finally, the 6 vibrating functions are a nice touch. I tend to stick to the first setting (low constant vibration) as the higher settings and pulses are, in my opinion, not very quiet and can feel somewhat aggressive at times (another reviewer described it as a swarm of bees).My only gripe with this plug is that mine became faulty after only 3-months and wouldn’t vibrate (motor died?). Game changer
Bought this for my OH birthday for him to use on me. The toy arrived in a lovely presentation box and looked much more expensive than the moderate price paid. It was actually quite intimidating once out of the package and I would say definitely not for a beginner in anal play. My OH thought his birthday had arrived, oh wait it had! Very disapointing
I have the Mantrix 3.5 inch rechargeable vibrating butt plug and although I really enjoy it I felt it wasn't quite big enough or hitting the spot enough so when I saw this on offer I went for it. How disappointed I was, its great when you first pop it in as it stretches you but after that very disappointing, I was expecting the extra length and diameter to do what the Mantrix didn't, instead when switched on it was more noise than fun even though the patterns are interesting and it certainly does not hit the spot. There isn't a lot more I can say it just didn't do anything for me and at full price I just can't recommend it, I'll stick to the Mantrix.
Good concept, bad execution
Me and my partner recently purchased a few Lovenese toys and love them, but shortly before we took the plunge into wireless toys we thought we'd try something a little lower priced first. This toy is strange in the sense that it look premium but it doesn't actually work half the time, the biggest problem is the fact that the remote is line of sight, meaning if any skin at all is blocking the plug's receiver then the remote struggles to actually work (not exactly ideal). the second issue is the ridges at the bottom don't actually feel pleasurable as they are too thin, instead then just become quite uncomfortable during extended wear making this toy impractical for public use. If you're serious about remote pleasure, and especially public play, then splash the extra cash and got for a Lovenese Hush.
Unbelievable fun
Purchased this recently as the wife and I are keen to expand our experiences with anal play. This is simply amazing! With a good lube, this fits perfectly. The product arrived really quickly and in the discreet packaging that you expect from Lovehoney. Pros: The rechargeability. Batteries are expensive and this item recharges really well. The strength and vibrations are great. The flat base is good for wearing the item out and being able to sit. Cons: It really isn't quiet at all. The killer for me is that I find the ridges really uncomfortable. I've tried a couple of times, for more than an hour, but can't get used to them. So uncomfortable that I won't use this item again.
Amazing plug for public and private use
I bought this plug for use on my partner whenever me and her are preparing for anal or for going out in public. And boy do we love it. The material feels premium and smooth which ensures a snug and comfortable fit. The girth and length is perfect, enough to keep you trained but not too much to be unwearable during daily life. Don't know about extra quiet, but it's great
This came as part of a large order I had placed in anticipation of our upcoming wedding anniversary. It is the third butt plug (well 4th if you count a prostate massager) I own but even then, it took some getting used to. As with all Lovehoney orders, it arrived quickly and was easily tracked the whole time. Pacakged in a plain brown box, no one was the wiser when it got delivered. As for the plug itself, its described as a medium, and with a 5.2inch girth around the widest part, its certainly not for the inexperienced or hesitant (My OH says this is definitely my toy). I chose this with the intention of some discrete remote fun, me with this inside me and my OH with her Fifty Shades Love Egg, swapping remotes in public, what could be better? Unfortunately, that has never eventuated, the noise from this is simply too loud (I seem to act like an enhancer for the vibrations) and it would just be too noticeable to hide, pity. I have worn it plenty of times when noise isnt a factor (house work or cutting the grass) and even without the vibration turned on, it feels wonderful just being full and contracting my anal muscles around it to stimulate my prostate. The first few times I tried it, it took a fair amount of maneuvering, even then, a deep breath at the widest part as I felt myself stretching to accommodate its fullness. This nexus ace, really is almost perfect. My packages arrived, the day after ordering it. I was handed that plain brown box, I snatched it with excitement. Nice size and good vibrations
Having picked up the bedtime 10 function bullet as my first vibrating butt plug it was time to look for something bigger. The nexus was the obvious choice as it also came with a remote and the design also mention that wearing the plug in various situations would also be possible. Very, Very Good
I bought this item yesterday and as usual with LoveHoney, the item arrived the following day in very discreet packaging. Once I open the box, inside was a very well presented box containing my new toy. I attached the magnetic USB charger and charged it for 2 hours. Waiting for a free house, the following day (today) I couldn't wait to try out my new purchase. I do have some "larger" toys that I enjoy using but I cant use them for longer use, which was the intended purchase of this new butt plug. Applying some water based lube I slipped in the new toy using the smallest vibration setting, I took my time to get the toy all the way in, but once in, I was not disappointed. I was very excited to be given the Nexus Ace butt plug in exchange for an honest review, thank you Lovehoney. Nexus comes pack in very stylish box. It has been designed to be sleek and classy. The box is black and red with a photo of the butt plug and its remote on the front of the box. On the back is some information like the size of the plug. Once I got into the box I found the Nexus nestled on an insert, also in the box is the magnetic USB charger, remote control (batteries included) and its handy information booklet. The Nexus is rechargeable, it charges via a magnetic connection. I have a few toys that have a similar magnetic charger that even with the slightest touch would disconnect and stop charging. I thought that the same would happen to this charger but to my surprise it worked really well, it didn’t disconnect and charged without problem. The Nexus when it needs charging the LED shows red and when it is finished charging the light will show green. The Nexus is made from a very luxurious silicone, which feels silky smooth to the touch. The ridges looked amazing, and I really though that they would feel amazing, the neck is flexible. The plug has six settings 3 speeds and 3 different patterns. The Nexus comes with a remote control, to connect the plug to the remote simply press the button once on the plug and remote then press the remote to increase the speeds or patterns. Before you start to use the plug, you really do need a good quality water based anal lubricant, any other for of lubricant may cause damage to the plug. The tapered tip makes insertion extremely easy, but if at any point it becomes uncomfortable stop. Taking it slowly for the first time, once I got it fully in I didn’t rush to turn on the vibrations, I wanted to just get used to the feeling of the plug first, the T-bar flared base I found to be more comfortable that the rounder one for wearing for long periods of time, it feels easier to sit and walk around with it. I first tried the vibrations without the remote, I found on the first speed I didn’t really notice strong vibrations, they were more rumbly and spread out. I would recommend this to people who like vibrations that are rumblier, it might not be for those who are power seekers, but as I don’t like too strong vibrations anally so it worked well for me. I will mention again that it’s not the “extra quite” plug that it claims, it’s not the loudest but it certainly isn’t the quietest. For me the noise didn’t matter too much. This plug works really well for me and is now a stable in my toy box.
A Good Quality Product
I was so excited to hear I’d be receiving this in exchange for an honest review. I love anal, and anything remote control gets me hot and flustered – adding the two together is my idea of heaven. The packaging of the Ace is so stylish, it looks like something you’d receive a new smart phone in. Included in the packaging is the Ace itself, the remote, the USB charger, and a very useful set of instructions. Before I could use this plug, it had to be charged. The USB charger is so simple, it is connected to the toy through magnets. I was so happy to find that the magnets on this charger actually work perfectly, unlike many other toys I have that take about half an hour of adjusting and reconnecting before they work. The toy initially shows a red light, this turns to green when it’s fully charged – simple! Cleaning the plug is easy. It’s ‘submersible’, so there is no need to worry about getting water anywhere you shouldn’t. Once it was charged, and cleaned – I was ready to get started on the fun stuff! Applying plenty of water-based lube (remember to not use silicone-based), I relaxed and inserted the plug. The bulb is firm, but the long neck is flexible, which means it sits very comfortably and moves with your body. The size is perfect. It’s not too big, but big enough to give you that incredible full feeling. There are ridges along the neck that add a touch of texture, these feel wonderful rubbing against you. The base isn’t that big, so it sits comfortably and is suitable for prolonged wear. Once I gave myself a little time to get used to the sensations, I was ready for the vibrations. The remote is simple to use. You need to press a button on the base of the toy to switch it on, then you use the remote to scroll through the patterns. The remote works very well, and from a relatively long distance. You can also use the button on the base of the toy if you don’t want to use the remote. When the vibrations first started, I have to admit – I was let down. They aren’t that powerful. They’re also that ‘buzzy’ kind of vibration, not the luxurious rumbly kind. I was gutted! Not only were they not that powerful, they were not ‘extra quiet’ either. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not really loud – but it definitely isn’t silent. As this is supposed to be the selling feature of this product, I felt totally let-down. The best thing to do with a remote controlled toy is to wear it outside, giving your partner full control over your pleasure. Unless you’re wearing the Ace on a night out, and you’ll be in a club with loud music (which would be fun), you can’t wear it in a public place without hearing it. I am in two minds about this toy. When it comes to how it stands up to just being a butt plug, it’s great. The size and shape are wonderful, it’s comfortable, and feels really good during sex or foreplay. However, when I turn the vibration on, I get distracted by the annoying buzzy noise as it sounds like I have a swarm of bees in my bum! Not only that, but they’re not really powerful enough to do anything. Overall, I am totally gutted. My first impressions of this plug were really positive. It’s gorgeous to look at, it’s very well made – the silicone feels divine! It’s obviously a luxury plug. But then as soon as you turn it on, it feels like a cheap product. It has taken me a while to write this review as I really don’t want to give the Ace negative feedback – it should be great. But sadly, it just doesn’t stand up to my expectations. I really hope that someone else tries this plug and they fall in love with it. Maybe it is just me being picky. When it comes to suitability and recommendations, I don’t really know what to suggest. For me, this plug will definitely get used again – but probably only for its shape and size as a plug, not for the vibrations or remote aspect this toy offers. I would recommend this toy to both men and women that like a well-made, good quality plug. As long as you’re not a power queen/king, the vibrations may just work perfectly for you.
