The pros:

Bulky and Heavy Stroker
My partner is a huge fan of HJs, BJs, and using Strokers/Masturbators on me, and I purchased the Solace Pro from Lovense for her to use, hoping that it would take a little bit of the weight off her shoulders during play time, and she could control the device, but sit back and relax a bit more, as opposed to fully stroking for the entire time.
Instead, the Solace Pro is an extremely heavy and bulky device, that works as described, but not all that great or noteworthy.
It feels good, but when activated and “stroking” for you, it’s incredibly hard to hold in place over a penis. Like I said, super heavy and bulky, so it was a serious struggle for my partner to have the strength to keep it in place to allow it to “stroke”.
It does have some interesting features that you can use by downloading the Lovense app. I saved quite a few “patterns” that other users uploaded, and we tried them out all by just bluetooth pairing your phone with the device and then selecting the “pattern” you want to use! You can also speed up or slow down the user-created patterns to your own liking. There’s also some simple little mini games you can play on the app as well, and they also connect to the device, so you can play a Fruit Ninja style game, where every slice of the blade is a “stroke”, or puzzle games where when you get the answers right, you’re rewarded with quicker “strokes”.
It’s all fun in concept, but the use of the device as a “hands-free masturbator” is just not all that practical because of the weight and bulk. It’s too heavy to kinda “set and forget” on the penis, and it’s too bulky to really be able to take advantage of the neat little features on the app, because you’ll most likely need an hand or two to hold it in place while it “strokes” for you.
I did not use the AI functionality where you can pair the device with a video of your choice, and I also did not use the included clamp stand, me and my partner both weren’t interested in using it that way.
Not worth the money if you don't live alone.
It's so loud. It clanks on every edge of the stroke, which can be heard throughout the house. The AI functions are basically random and don't match videos at all, and when it stops, it'll make a loud constant whirring and clacking sound like it's stuck, which just adds to the noise. It honestly feels like a waste of money to me, as it's only usable while you're home alone. If it didn't clack twice on every stoke, it would honestly be great. If you don't have to worry about noise, you'll like it, but the AI functions will still be disappointing.

I bought this at a substantial discount and even then I feel it was too much money.
It's easy to set up and very well made (though the provided sleeve is a bit rubbish) and operating it is simple so I've no complaints about that; it's more that it's noisy and while there are some fun settings (and I did orgasm eventually at the second time of trying) it's a robotic experience.
