A Premier Plug With Few Downsides
I own both the small, medium and large Hush models. The first section will be a general one for both and the second is specific to the size.
Lovense are a well known brand in the toy community and their brand emphasises connectivity and luxury experiences. I have found this to be the case with all of the toys of theirs that I own including the Hush series. The toys are packaged securely in a firm box that you can use for storage, they contain foam so they don't wrattle around. Inside the box you will find the toy, a charger (USB-A) that is suitable for I think the entire range of Lovense toys and various bits of paper. The Hush itself is of solid construction - note this means the toy is pretty darn firm with very little give. I would recommend considering them . 25cm larger in diameter than specified when comparing to toys with some squish. They come partially charged but have good battery life and will last a while even when stored for a little while. If you use the app to control them (more on that in a second) then there is a clear battery indicator.
Controlling the toy is done through either a desktop or mobile app. The app itself is pretty self explanatory and contains a number of ways you can control the toys - there is a board for you to set the levels, various patterns that are avaliable or you can create yourself and even games that will control the vibrations. There are also more options but this is a review of the toy not the app. Look more into Lovense connectivity if you are interested.
I find the vibrations themselves very powerful with a strong motor however the toy itself stays reasonably quiet at the low power settings at least. Its also waterproof for those of you who enjoy wet playtime. The vibrations feel very good when you get the settings right for you and have always lead to some powerful orgasms.
About the small model specifically. I consider this a premium product so probably not the plug to dip your toe in for. However if you know you like vibrating butt plugs this is the best I think you can buy. The small model is great for warming up for larger toys - Again I wouldn't consider it a beginner toy due to the price and previously mentioned stiffness. Also if you don't play well with mobile apps it might better to get something with a simpler control method.
TLDR: If you know you like plugs this is the only small sized one you will need in your arsenal - pun intended. However if you are just setting out in your butt plug journey or you don't like apps I would get something a little more flexible.

A nice quality toy but not for beginners
The toy arrived in premium packaging and was well protected from damage.
Charging was simple via the magnetic connections at the bottom which were secure enough on a flat surface. Charged quickly (about 60 minutes) and the light helpfully goes off when it's fully charged.
For those not very technical the installation of the app is a little faffy as it requires changing permissions on your phone but there is plenty of help around online to show you how.
I was amazed at what the app had to offer from just controlling the toy to finding connections around the world anonymously. I'm still only partly way through looking at all the options.
The app takes a bit of getting used to so I suggest you have a play around beforehand to get used to the different screens and settings.
Connection was easy and worked straight away first time and the connection seems reliable unlike some remote toys I've had in the past.

We were sent this toy to test in return for an open and impartial review so here it is!
We're no strangers to butt plugs. We have all manner of shapes, sizes, materials from glass and steel to silicone, vibrating/non vibrating, remote control and push button - but we've never owned an app based toy yet. So this one was going to be an interesting experiment. We've had it for nearly a month now and waited to leave a review as we wanted to fully test it and that involved waiting until we were apart for a night and separated by many miles (a very rare occurrence these days!) in order to test the app fully.
Packaging wise it looks great. No cheesy design on the box and it comes with it's own storage bag and USB cable to charge it up. The cable is magnetic and can be fiddly to connect depending on where you're placing the toy to charge but the best advice is to place it on it's side on a stable smooth surface. Once charged the toy claims to have around three and a half hours of usage time. We've not tried it for that long in one sitting but have used it three or four times between charges with no issues of it running out of juice when used for half hour sessions. Being silicone it's easy to clean with a wash under a hot tap, some toy cleaner and being left to air dry. Once dry just pop back in the storage bag ready for it's next outing.
Size wise this will suit everyone from beginners to experienced wearers. Personally I (the male half) found it a little small but that's just me. It's easy to slip into place with a little lube and there's no worries of it disappearing due to the T-bar base. It's very comfortable to wear and should be suitable for extended periods of wear if desired.
So how about the vibrations? This is where it gets very interesting. Once you've downloaded the app you can have fully customisable control over everything from pattern, vibrations strength and speed. You can even create and save your own specific patterns or sync to music to match the beat to your bum fun. It works either as a remote control for self use (or with a partner in the same room) or for long distance lovers, couples who spend time away from each other or even if you're feeling extra brave and want to put control in the hands of anyone else on the planet, no matter where they are in the world, then you can link app accounts and pass full control to them. Account sharing is by username so can also be done without sharing personal info - great for online fun with virtual friends. We tried it when 200 miles apart and it worked perfectly. There's even the ability on the app to live video chat at the same time so you can see the reaction of your partner. Noise wise (as with most plugs) you barely hear a thing in when use but then it is generally well soundproofed at the time!
The concept of app based toys isn't new but we have heard that the functionality of some can be a little 'iffy' and signals can drop meaning a loss of control. This certainly didn't happen with the Hush 2.
Now the big question. Would we buy something like this? In all honesty, probably not. But then we're not really the ideal target market. We live together and are rarely apart so have little need for an app based toy and remote controlled ones suit us better - the Hush 2 can of course be used that way. But for couples who live apart or who are separated regularly due to work, as well as those singles and couples who like to indulge in a little 'virtual fun' with online acquaintances this toy would be great. It's pricey, yes. But it's great quality, offers superb functionality and is a niche product that suits a specific audience. And if that audience is you then you're in for a lot of fun.
