as pretty as butt plugs get
i haven't used them yet but these butt plugs are so pretty, i was actually quite shocked! they feel sturdy and high quality and i'm looking forward to giving them a try as a newbie into this toy.

We absolutely love them.
To very honest, it is our first time experimenting with butt plugs.
The smallest one is quite easy to get used to and it presents a good start for a novice.
Medium one is a bit of a challenge and we have tried it only once, as it was too intense for my partner. It brought her a level of pleasure, however it required a long preparation and careful step by step process of inserting. I have no clue how, if ever we can try the largest one.
For now, we are happy as we got what we were looking for.
Metal feels sturdy, jewels look very nice, handle provides a good grip and makes it easy to unplug.

They look very pretty and fancy. The star is a little bigger than I expected, other than that they have the overall glam I hoped for. I know fifty AUD is a bit pricey but I wanted the star design specifically.
Seeing Stars
I’m a fan of metal or glass toys over silicone. These stars come in three sizes perfect for beginners, more advanced (like me - not quite a beginner but I don’t do anal things often), and more experienced. They have a good weight - not too heavy and the perfect amount of pressure. The star shape of the base takes away worry of them going too far and/or getting lost. The gems are sparkling and made for some VERY memorable photos…

I love how nice and beginner friendly this set of buttplugs are. The taper on them is great and with a lot of plush lube, they slip in and stay in place. They are best used with a sex toy or stroker, a vibe or an air pulse toy, as the orgasms will be a little more intense as you clench down on the plug.
One of the best parts about these plugs is that because they're made of aluminum they don't absorb odors. You just pop them in the sink and wash them with soap and running water and bam, fresh clean smelling plugs unlike silicone plugs which can sometimes pick up butt smells.
These are also amazing for temperature play. Just be really, really careful and do not boil or freeze the plugs as you can hurt yourself badly and/or damage the gem in the plug.
As a person whose overweight, I will say though I do agree with an earlier review. Be careful when you insert the plugs if you've got a big butt cause the edges of the plug, despite being rounded, will pinch and dig in a little painfully. I usually have one point of the star pointing at my perinium, like a pentagram, and that helps avoid most of the pinching. So I wouldn't recommend this as a date night, or wear-around-town plug. This is something you wear to treat yourself and/or your partner in bed. :D

The jewels in the bases are super sparkly and catch the light beautifully. The gold colour really sets them off.
The graduated set of three is good because there’s a plug that will suit a variety of experience levels and give the opportunity to increase the size you can take with practice, without needing to buy more.
I found the small and medium plugs easy and comfortable to wear from the start, there doesn’t feel like there is as much difference in size between those as the jump to the large plug.
I do like that the size of the base increases with the plug size, and that the star edges are rounded.
I generally find t-bar based plugs more comfortable for longer term wear than round plugs - but the star shapes, especially the large one, were a bit uncomfortable from the start, the large one bordering on painful. I tried adding lube around the edges to see if that would help, but it didn’t.
It may well be my anatomy, being a plus sized girl, that the base just rubs me wrong, but feel I need to mention it.
I think I’d wear these to tease a partner because they look awesome and fun, but it would only be for a short time.

My favourite plugs to use and wear are those made from either metal or glass, and considering i have a reasonable collection of various metal plugs these are still a superb addition!
Upon first inspection you'd be forgiven for assuming the star shaped base would be very uncomfortable during use, it isn't. That being said you certainly know it's there but in all the best ways. The edges of the star are nicely rounded so as not to dig in too much, and its this pretty star feature which makes this little set that bit different from the rest, with their shiny gold appearance and star jewelled base they certainly add some bling to your bum.
Being fairly used to medium and large butt plugs I will admit I've not actually tried out the smallest one in the set yet, however I have extensively tested the medium and large, both of which I can confirm are very comfortable, enjoyable to use, and give a pleasing stretch. One of the best things is how big the base is, it feels larger that others plug bases and means you have more to grab when inserting or removing.
The plugs insertable section is much like most other metal plugs, and are of the usual high Lovehoney quality. They stay in place extremely well during use and don't roll off surfaces when cleaning due to the base design.
Overall, this trio plug set is a must have for anyone who likes a bit of bum fun, it doesn't matter if you already have a tonne of plugs, these are cool and look amazing...in or out of your bum.
Going for gold
We have had some experience with butt plug sets in the past and so wasn't expecting anything different from this set but was amazed how much I loved it. Firstly the gold colour really pops and makes the plugs look incredible compared to the standard silver design. The range of sizes is perfect, from the smallest which is perfect for beginners or when warming up to the biggest which is a real handful and you will need to work up to but feels amazing when you take it. The I also liked that the size of the flared star base increased with each plug to make sure nothing goes where it doesn't belong. Great design and quality item.
