The reason we ordered these is my OH really can't be bothered with putting on proper suspender sets as she finds them very fiddly, so these are a good solution.
They looked amazing and fit well. She was able to put them at the desired height and then simply fold over the top. We've had problems with 'hold-up' stockings actually holding up in the past, but these stayed on and at the correct height right until the end, which was a momentous achievement!
The material felt really nice and my OH was very comfortable wearing them, we expect them to become a regular addition to outfits!

They stay up for the most part but if I am not wearing them in the bedroom I normally clip them to a garter to have the extra security as they sometimes do roll down when I'm walking about. I bought these as I found standard stockings struggled to stay up even with suspenders. These were much better and I even managed to keep them on the whole time even without the suspenders and they stayed in place. Very sexy addition to my outfits. I really like the pattern on these, they are a great length (I am quite tall, 179cm) and can be pulled up really high or positioned lower, with it looking equally as good. They stay up nicely with the silicone strips during even very intense activity.
I am a curvy lady, but not enough to be plus sized. The one size fits all Uk 6-16 would have fit fine but the curvy pattern at the top was not supported by a silicone strip. This means that, as as my thighs ever slightly bulge out at the top, the curved tops of the stockings rolled over a little bit. It isn't a big issue, not noticeable for anyone a few feet away, but it isn't idea for anyone wanting to feel their upmost confident. I found that I was adjusting it frequently and couldn't really figure out how far I should pull it up my legs to try and avoid this issue. My conclusion was that this design and size just wasn't ideal for my boy type.
Aside from that, the fabric felt lovely.

I have always struggled with stockings no matter what size I’ve always had thick thighs. These are the best I’ve ever tried! They go on really nicely, not having to hike them up over and over. The lace detail at the top is lovely. Once on they stay put! No rolling down or feeling that they are slipping.

As someone who's on the shorter side but has larger thighs, these surprisingly fit well on me. The top part doesn't cut into my thighs too much, and I am able to work the length of the stockings so there isn't weird bunching from my legs being short. But, after two snags on my nail trying to get the buggers on, one faceplant trying to walk sultrily, and a capture on a murderous screw on the way into the room they’re still in (almost) in perfect condition!(there was a glitter incident). I’m a 10 and they rolled down slightly at the top - but that may be because my thighs are where I hold my pizza. Looked great otherwise! Very silky smooth, and certainly stayed put!
Best stockings I've bought!
I've always had super big thighs, thunder thighs some may call it, and have never been able to buy stockings that fit around my thighs comfortably. This CHANGED the game for me!
I've shopped around for so many before, and this is the first pair that have lasted! It's so easy to put on and has a perfect amount of stretch to fit around my thick calves and thighs. I was SO worried that it would rip, but it's doing perfectly!

Ripped when I first put them on
I wear a size 18 on the bottom so thought these would be fine as I have quite thick thighs. They went on fine until I got to thigh and they ripped as soon as I tried to pull them into position.Hopefully the suspenders I bought dont do the same!
Pretty looking stockings but just didn’t fit
I assumed being a one size fits all product that it would fit me well. Unfortunately felt very tight for my thighs (as they are fairly thick) coming up to the top and the top of the stockings itself is somewhat rubbery textured (I’m assuming so it can stay up) but for me it just seems to keep rolling down and would not stay in place.The stockings itself are pretty, not too see through or opaque and go well with suspenders. Just a shame it didn’t fit.
Nice But Could Be Bigger
These thigh high stockings are really cute and go nice with the baby doll I bought. However, they aren’t really for jiggly thighs and it doesn’t tell you that. My thighs are really big and although I wear pant size 9-11, they are very jiggly and theres still fat in my inner thighs so these stockings roll down and leave some of your thigh sticking out when pulled all the way up. If you have the same problem as me, I’d suggest finding even bigger sizes online somewhere else. Very nice stockings, however I feel they don’t tailer to this specific problem.

Long legs
I know, this is a onesize product. They are very comfortable, the strips make them stay up, unfortunately, it feels like I would rip it with a micromilimeter of a chipped nail.In addition, if you want it to be sheer for real, not opaque, and you are an inbetween size, you must be aware that they are for bigger sizes too, so you might have not long enough legs for the material to stretch perfectly without having lumps of material or opacity.

An Essential
These stockings are a must have in your lingerie & hosiery collection. I’ve bought this style from Lovehoney on several different occasions in several different colours. The silicone band on the inside of the lace, really helps these to stay in place. I’m sure many of you on the thicker thighed side can relate to stockings constantly rolling down. The amount of coverage is perfect and despite being thin / sheer. I’ve never once ripped or worried about ripping a pair when putting them on, or when they’re being pulled off. As a curvy girl I have always found it hard to get tights/holdups that aren't too tight around my thighs. However these are the perfect fit! With the rubber strips under the lace they stay in place too. Great for feeling sexy under a dress or in the bedroom paired with a nice pair of heels!

Best ones yet
The stockings hold up very well and that’s saying a lot as I’m a size 16 with a thicker bottom half. The material is soft with lace tops lined with adhesive strips which function better than any other I have tried. Would 100% buy again especially considering the price, excellent value for money.
Brilliant stockings
I have had these stockings and used them for a good year or so now, only recently have they gained a couple holes. I love to wear them round the house or out and about. They are very well made and I will be getting another pair soon to replace them x
Pretty and strong
Having had lots of different styles and coloured stockings in the past - these have way exceeded my expectations. In the past (stockings bought elsewhere) have been some what disappointing. Normally I only get a couple of uses out of them but these have been on and off (literally) absolutely loads and still going strong! They are nice and comfy and a great fit for my chunky legs too!
Great basic stockings
Perfect for every day wear or spicing up some boring lingerie. Can easily attach at garter as the holdup band is thin. Fabric of the tights has a soft feel and nice sheen to them. Only thing I would prefect is if they where slightly thicker and you feel like you could catch a nail and ladder them as they are so fine.
Nice ones - just too long
These Stockings are super cute and feel very smooth. The fabric is very thin and it's easy to tear, so you have to be very very careful when putting them on. Unfortunately, they were a little too long for my legs. I found it a little hard to put them into the right place but after a bit they fit okay and comfortable. They do not cut into the skin and they do not feel tight around the legs either.
Looks amazing on her
I ordered these for my fiance to try & help her feel a little more attractive to herself & to try & boost her confidence. When they arrived I made her immediately strip & try them on along with the Seven 'til Midnight Plus Size Pink Lace Bustier Set. I love how gorgeous she looks in all of it. Great hold-ups
You can't go wrong with a simple pair of hold-ups. Great product for the price point so you can't really go wrong. Strong black color can go with pretty much an lingerie set or used to spice up a simple bra and panties set as them stay held up on your thighs on their own. Highly recommend.
Hold up stockings
They are supposed to fit size 18-24 but I'm a size 24 and found them a little tight around the tops, they rolled up and slid down, it's a shame because they are nice stockings. Probably fine for the smaller sizes. They need to make the sticky bit at the top a bit more stretchy
Sexy legs
These hold ups are an amazing deep red, not at all orangey in colour which I was slightly expecting. They have a beautiful lace trim to the top and hold up incredibly well without slipping. I have found these types of stocking to slip in the past but I’d recommend not to use moisturiser on the top where it clings and they stay up really well. They are sheer as they state in the description, although they look slightly thicker in the picture. This being said, these work perfectly to company other Love Honey accessories to make you feel totally gorgeous and incredibly sexy. I bought these to wear with the red open cup teddy and I felt totally amazing and sexy. These are a must for the price. You will not be disappointed.
Didn't work for me
I'm a size 10 pants with bigger thighs and these gave me very big bulging on the thigh area. I looked like a stuffed chicken. So I had to return them and get the plus size ones.Confused at the sizing though because it states to to fit 6-16? Other than that they looked okay.
Worked for me and I'm a size 10
I purchased the regular sizing of these and they were way to small, I was bluging and I didn't feel sexy. I then purchased these and they fit just right. I am confused if they are supposed to fit up to a 24 as I am a 10 with larger thighs and they fit just right with no bludges
Disappointed
I bought 4 pairs of the exact same style. The first pair lasted me through 8 wears and fit like a glove and stayed up perfect. But they were a different material and different silicone from the others so I wish I could reorder those stockings The other 3 pairs were garbage. They were an entirely different fit and rolled down constantly because the lace band was way thinner, the silicone was cheaper and the fabric was entirely different. I'm not sure if I have gotten an old style that was changed, but I won't be reordering this style. Which is super disappointing because I thought I had finally found stay-ups that would fit me.
Okay
I wasn’t a fan of the hold ups, I have big thighs and the hold ups was uncomfortable and I didn't feel comfortable I wearing them. I’ve used different hold ups from other companies and they’ve been comfortable and stayed on. As soon as I placed these on the hold ups ripped. I was a bit disappointed in these but I guess not everything you buy is gonna be for you.

These hold ups are fantastic quality and stay up without any issues in just about any situation! Can easily be used either as accessories with lingerie or be worn with nothing else on! They can also be a great addition to your collection especially if you find suspenders a bit of a hassle. I would definitely recommend them both in red and black colours!

I've never worn stockings before because where ever I bought them from, they NEVER fit right, even when I've bought plus size. Then I discovered Lovehoney and oh my do they cater to the curvier lady! Bought these to go with the seven til Midnight basque I purchased from here. I have never worn stockings before and I’m not disappointed. For once I managed to put in tights with no problems at all, I was a little worried about them not fitting around my thighs but they do. They did keep rolling down lucky the basque has suspenders to hold them up. I blame the roll on my thighs not the product. Can’t fault the quality at all considering I did have a good pull on them to get them into my suspenders (not an easy task for me) eventually managed it and with all the tugging they didn’t ladder, fab quality.
Pretty
These arrive in a discreet box as usual. My very first hold ups. They are lovely and soft, very delicate and will tear easily. I was surprised to see that they have a rubber grip under the lace which was prefer. I got a S, I'm a size 10/12, 5ft1 ish and they fitted nicely a little tight right around my chunky thighs but perfectly wearable. Iv worn these twice now are they are still going strong, they wash well. Very sexy.
Uncomfortable, tight and roll down
I'm sad to say I really don't like these stockings. I've always liked suspender stockings but found the straps to be a bit of a faff, so I wanted to try hold ups, thinking it would be easier and more practical to use. I'm a size 14 and have quite thick thighs, and I found these stockings were tight and made my legs spill out the top giving me a fat roll at the top. This didn't make me feel sexy and wasn't a problem I'd had with suspenders before. On top of this I found the lace wouldn't stay up all the way and kept rolling down over itself which was really annoying and ruined the look considerably. All in all I've learnt hold ups aren't for me and I think maybe they are better for people with less curvaceous thighs.
Good fit and sexy
These stockings are great and feel well made. They fit my plus-size legs well and stay up. Whilst I love the look of the sheer stockings on my legs, I do wish that lovehoney offered more options for opaque stockings and hold-ups. Overall, feel very sexy in these and my man definitely finds them a real turn-on!!
Simple Sexy Stockings
Stockings are a basic necessity in many wardrobes, these fit the bill perfectly! I'm long in the leg, 33" and size 7 feet, they came high enough up the thigh to feel right, some can stop too low down, and no cramped toes. Fabric is lovely and smooth and is a good solid black, no patches of darker/lighter where stretched. Fab lace top to finish them off, ideal with any lingerie, no slip on the hold up.
Sadly disappointed
After reading all the positive reviews (and not having much luck with stockings) I decided to give these a go. I wore them with one of LHs bodysuits and a little black g string. The look would have been great but the stockings were just a bit too big for me. I'm 5 foot 7, size 10 to 12 on bottom, and decent sized calves. They held up fine but the stockings themselves were too loose which was disappointing. Still... I kept them on. I lay my man down on the bed, climbed on top and heard them click straight away🙄 so annoying. They ended up getting pulled off and dumped in the bin (well.. Later on..) definitely not the most expensive stockings I've purchased so price wise okay... However they really didn't last long enough.
Very seductive
So got these to go with an outfit, she loved them and I thought these with the secretary outfit from Lovehoney and the red thong would be all paired together well... I was correct! I gave to her and let her let her put her own spin on it which she did, adding her own glasses and hitching the skirt up more which with these stockings made her legs look like they went on for miles, with heels of course! We both loved the smooth feel of the stockings and she said they were easy to get on and off unlike some you buy, or so I’m told?! :)) She has worn these several times and she says they make her feel sexy, I’m assuming as I cannot keep my eyes off of her! Great quality product, well worth the money and a great extra item which adds that little extra to an outfit or super sexy when worn on their own also!!!
She loves them
Thanks to lovehoney myself and the wife have been buying more and more things. I brought these to go with a baby doll set i brought my wife. Again worrying about the one size fits all. I can say they fitted her perfectly and is one of the items which come out without my knowing ;) She feels sexy in them and she is happy with the way it makes her feel and also how they feel against her skin. Its a must buy and bets a lot of the big store products you would pay through the noise for.
Decent
Material is thin so be aware of that incase of ripping. Fit my legs fine, was struggling to get on my thigh. Managed to get it to stay just above my knee, about 2 inches above. I'm 5'11 so that might be why. My leg is 16/18 and my thighs are closer to a 20 so it might not fit right if you're bigger than that because it kept rolling down if I pulled it up any higher.
Good quality, amazing price
I purchased these to pair with a red basque for a valentines day surprise. I have thick, curvy things and was not sure if these would fit. They fit perfectly, and i had no issues attaching them to the basque. However, they did tend to roll down during sex, this was probably because of the size of my thighs as this happens with all hold ups. Because i have acrylic nails, whilst putting them on i did ladder them before i had chance to surprise my boyfriend. So be careful when putting them on and taking them off.
A little disappointed
I love Lovehoney stockings, I do, I needed to give these hold ups a try to see if they lived up to the hype. I'm so sorry to say they didn't, the band had no stick on my thighs and just rolled straight down, which is really disappointing because they came up to the perfect height. I can't really sniff at the price though so I'll just add a suspender belt for security even thought they're hold ups. The stockings I got were spot on though.

These looked fabulous with a black string thong. They match perfectly with a body suit, Basque or corset. High quality, low price
I got these as part of a deal when purchasing a lingerie set. Red always looks good on me but wasn't sure these would fit. Upon arrival, I tried them on and was surprised to find that they fitted my plus size thighs perfectly! They feel great and my man has never complained! At just £6, these really are super, i feel confident in them, which i never thought id say. They look great and feel great. So don't hesitate in buying them, just be careful not to rip them when putting them on or off.
Must-have stockings
Until recently my taste in lingerie had been more 'practical' and I had seen stockings as more faff than they were really worth. As these stockings are pretty inexpensive I thought I would give them a go! The stockings are great quality - the lace details are really classy and I love the slightly sheer look. The hold of the elastic is really secure - they won't slip down in the heat of the moment. Very budget
I was very disappointed with these stockings. I'm a size 10-12. I wouldn't have described my thighs as particularly slim or toned, but I feel like I'm a fairly standard size 10-12. These were definitely too small for me, the sticky strips on the inside kept sticking to themselves and it was a complete nightmare to try and get the lace tops to sit flat without bunching unattractively. Honestly, I think they were just too small and I wish I'd got the bigger size. Maybe they would have been better. The fabric quality was acceptable but they felt like a really cheap pair of stockings.
Sexy hold-ups
I bought these along with 2 sets of stockings for my suspenders. I like these hold ups for when im using a baby doll or just some sexy underwear, were a suspender belt isn't used. My husband loves me in any stockings so it's always something I have plenty off. These hold up well due to the silicon strips inside the top and grip nicely. Being 5'9 I did feel they are slightly to short and I may look at the size plus next time I order as I do like them to come right up to mid thigh with comfort. However they look and feel great.

Just not quite right
I bought these hold ups to go with a Basque set I had also purchased. Upon opening the package my first impressions were very good, the stockings were lovely and soft feeling and the detailing around the top was gorgeous. Unfortunately that is where the good points stop - the stockings were way too tight around my thighs and created a really unpleasant bludge. I'm by no means stick thin and generally wear a UK size 12 on my bottom half but these honestly made me feel huge. If you've got skinny legs I think they would be georgous on but if you're a bit more curvy I would recommend you look for something else.
Not Plus-Size
These are absolutely not plus size. I think some of the reviews have been mixed up somehow, because people are talking about stockings with suspenders and having a choice of sizes. These are marketed for size 18+. I am a size 12-14 with big thighs. I would say these are at MAXIMUM for a size 16. Do not buy them if your thighs are larger than about 24" or if you are taller than about 5'6". Mine are 26" and these squash me unattractively, roll down, and barely reach the top of my thighs despite being stretched to their limit. The package also has a really weird smell which lingers for hours after you take them out. I would send them back if the effort was worth it, or if they had an ACTUALLY plus size product to replace them with! Excellent service from the company as usual, but something has gone very wrong with this product.
Red hold-ups
We have bought lots if things of love honey and always been very happy but this time was very disappointed the stocking came and I put them on and they kept rolling done ( my legs r not fat ) so unless I ware a surspender belt there no good had to order from some ware else and spend even more money
Lacy stockings
These are the first pair of hold ups I’ve ever bought and I was slightly reluctant as they only offer one size. I’m a size 14 generally on my lower half so I did consider getting the plus size ones, however I ended up getting these ones. Once they arrived I tried them on, the material of the hold ups are of high quality however, due to them being one size, they are fairly tight on my upper thighs so they do dig in to my leg a bit. I reckon if you thighs are slimmer these would be even more perfect for you, but they do hold up well !

For plus size girls with skinny thighs
I’m a size 12-14 and these are no good for me, if I wear them mid thigh they give horrible bulges. I’m going to try the bigger ones but the stockings in this size are too big for the rest of my legs so I think the next size up will look equally as bad.

Be aware they aren’t as red as shown in the pictures and faded slightly after a few wears. Stunning & Great Value
For the feel and quality of these stockings, they really are a steal. There's no need for suspenders as they have a silicone banding on the inside of the lacy cuffing which helps them stay in place. Super soft, super sleek! I would have preferred them a little higher on the leg so maybe i should have tried the plus sized stockings instead (I'm 5"8), but i really do love them, they look sexy and feel sensual on! Pair them with your own bra and panties set to finish the look- usually i go with a black set, sometimes red and black but you could even mix it up with other colour combinations too! The lacing is incredibly pretty, it has its own sort of floral pattern to create a delicate looking finish, and the nylon material itself is lasting well. Definitely worth adding to your Lovehoney order!

A must-buy
Being a size 22, I have always struggled with finding a strong sturdy pair of stockings that compliment my curvy thighs and do NOT fall down, and once again, love honey do not disappoint!! The silicone I was able to pair these stockings with a cute pair of crotch-less panties from LH for a effortless and easy look. The sheer material is flattering for the curvier woman, and felt amazing on my legs, giving my calf's amazing definition. The patterned lace is perfect for that feminine feel, and my OH certainly enjoyed the view! I have washed these stockings and re-worn them 3 times now on a delicate wash, and they still look and feel as good as knew!!
Good product that stay up
I am a tallish (5”10) size 16 but ordered the larger size as I didn’t want any “bulge” hanging over. I have also found some stockings in the past too short however these were great. They attached easily to the suspender belt I bought. Good value for money and I would buy another pair.

These red lacy hold ups were bought to wear during the Christmas season to spice things up in the bedroom! They are very good quality, super comfy and the inside rubber lining means that they stay held up on your thighs and stops them from falling off! Fantastically sexy
I've purchased stockings for my better half before, and we've always had an issue with hold-ups not staying up - even ones marketed as plus size don't always fit on larger thighs, and the elastic isn't always that strong. These, on the other hand, are excellent and phenomenally sexy - especially when paired with a short skirt and one of my white work shirts. My better half felt immensely feminine and confident while wearing them, they feel smooth to to touch and stayed in place even during the most rigorous of lovemaking sessions. If you've been put off stockings before because you think they're a faff, you should really give these a try.
Make my legs look better than the model... well... almost
Just love these lace top hold ups. Just so you know, I'm a guy who occasionally likes wearing these things. I'm 5 feet 10 inches and my thigh measurement is around 22-23 inches. Given those measurements, these fit absolutely perfectly. They are grippy enough, but without digging in and stay up without any problem. Only issue is that the seam has started to tear at the top after only 3 or 4 outings (and they have not been mauled about ... unfortunately). Other than that .... love 'em. Could try 10 different brands and not find better. Oh yes, and they make my legs look absolutely georgeous and, if you are wondering ... they are shaved smooooooooth.
Did it hold up? Yes but
So as my very first pair of hold ups they did the job - held up with ease (I did not find myself tugging them up at ‘awkward’ times!). The lace design was very cute and sexy, very flattering! However after VERY little use (maybe one night) they ripped and laddered! It’s a shame because I definitely would’ve used these again.

My fiancé loves me in stockings so I like to have quite a few. I laddered my old pair of these a little while ago after having them for a couple of years. Best Hold-ups
I have always had thick thighs, so everytime I've bought hold ups they always either make my thigh fat bulge out or they don't come up any higher than my knees. So when I bought these I wasn't expecting much especially for the price. But wow I'm so impressed! They actually fit my thighs perfectly. No fat bulge and they don't stop at my knees. I'm so impressed - I feel great in them and will definitely buy more. Like I said I have thick thighs so this is a great find for anyone who has the same issue I have had!

These are amazing hold up perfect and very comfy I didn’t think these would stay up because of my big thighs lol but they stayed put for ages will deffo be getting more deffo worth the money after doubting wether they’re going to be any good fast and discreet delivery as usual
Great fit and quality
I Brought these to go with an underwear set also from Love Honey - The price is great, especially for the Great quality, felt luxury and not thin! The fit was great was easy to wear with suspenders. They did the job, I felt very sexy and my husband enjoyed them very much.
No go for chunky thighs
These stocking are beautiful maybe a little long but if you have chunky thighs which I certainly do I wouldn’t go there, I’m a 12/14 with a strong set of thighs and although these stockings are beautiful they would not sit in place nor lie flat on my legs I gave up in the end as not what you want as your dressing up for your husband.... A quick slap back to reality of the chunky thighs your blessed with and already conscious of. If you have a good thigh gap then brilliant these stockings are for you!
A sexy faff - and a little too short
I won't deny - I love the look and feel of stockings, and I've been trying to persuade my better half to wear these since I bought them. She surprised me with them the other night - and the results were mixed. On the good side - the material feels really good. It's paler than I expected, but it feels robust and so wonderfully smooth on her legs. The lacy tops are very sexy and they made her look so very feminine. On the bad side, they didn't stay up very well, and since my wife is 5'10'' it wasn't easy to attach them to the suspenders on her LoveHoney purple chemise. She says they were a faff to put on, I think in the future we may have to use stay-ups - or find a pair which fit her long legs better.
Sexy
These look and feel amazing! Only problem is they rip easily, I am very gentle with my stockings and this is the only pair I've had rip on me. They are very sexy however but could do with a reinforced toe area to make them a bit stronger, then these would be perfect.
Great Purchase.
The thing I love most about these is the fact that they are actually plus size!! The amount of "plus size" stockings I have tried & been disappointed with is ridiculous...these however, fit my size 22/24 thighs without digging in too much & sat where they should instead of looking like knee high socks. I adore the sexy black lace tops & the design is a little different to the usual run of the mill lace pattern. Overall very impressed with the size, look & quality of these hold ups.
Great hold ups
I have had these a few weeks now and have been worn a few times, no ladders or stretching. There are really comfortable on and the 2 silicone strips do a great job of holding them in place. I am 5ft 10" tall and they come up to nearly the top of my thighs. They are semi-sheer and look very sexy, especially with the lace tops which are just deep enough, have had some hold ups where the top was too deep. Great quality and at £5.99 money well spent. When they do finally fail (as stockings do), I will be re-ordering, but there is no sign of that happening yet. Highly recommend these as can find no fault with them.
Perfect Fit
Having being graced/cursed (tick applicable) with thunder thighs, I often struggle to find stockings that fit well and don't roll down. These fit perfect! They don't dig in to my thigh and they stay up! The band of lace feels strong and the pair I bought have actually lasted for quite some time with no pandering! Very impressed!
Do not buy even if you're within the size range
Im a size 16 and these stockings do not fit.The band at the top is too tight and folds under, the tights become extremely sheer due to the poor size ranges, one size would not fit all. definitely does not make me feel sexy or comfortable at all. wold not recommend
Hold ups? Really!
Being plus size 18 and after always paying a fair bit for hold ups that actually fit, i see these on here and thought finally a decent price.. however I'm so disappointed with this purchase.. they do not stay up and just roll down. I'll be sticking to Ann summers for hold ups in future as they don't disappoint!
Poor fit for wide thighs
they look good in the pack but are poor fit for a wide thigh woman ie 25ins circumference the lace tops just roll mo chance for the band to grip the thigh so totally useless very disappointed for the 2nd time in a row with lovehunny products they need to do more research for the bigger ladies before advertising
Reliably sexy
I bought these almost a year ago now and am happy to report they are still going strong after A LOT of use! They are comfy and the silicone has remained perfectly sticky, they are my go to pair of stockings for both sex and work! I've caught them on a few rings etc. over the months but they don't run at all, and the few snags i have made are barely noticeable. My only gripe is that they don't work well with suspenders as the silicone gets in the way of the clips, but considering hold ups aren't really designed for suspenders I can't complain. I would buy these again in a heartbeat if mine were somehow destroyed (a nuclear bomb seems to be the only option to damage these bad boys) and highly recommend for anyone looking for some sexy black hold ups for nights in or out! (Or in and out and in and out.... (; )
A wardrobe staple
These hold-ups have long been an essential part of my naughty nighttime wardrobe, and I'd recommend you add them to yours. The material is nice - it's silky, whilst remaining elastic enough for a little give. Most importantly, the hold-ups remain in place even when, let's say, they're tested. If my legs find their way wrapped around my partner's neck, or kneeling on the floor around his waist, these stockings stay neatly in place, making for a sexy (and secure) silhouette.

I'm 5'2 and 110lbs and definitely petite. I almost didn't buy these because I thought the price was too high for a simple pair of stockings, but I'm so glad I did. I usually buy cheaper tights and stockings and I'm usually disappointed by the quality, fit, or both. So I'm glad I splurged a little on these. These stockings fit me absolutely perfectly! I'm used to stockings going straight up to my crotch or having to gather them along my legs so these were such a pleasant surprise. The material is luxurious feeling too; so smooth and soft against my skin. The band is amazingly comfortable as well! It isn't tight and doesn't dig into the skin at all.
Not good if your short
I bought this to go with my corset I had , however I am not that tall and unfortunately it just didn't look good on me at all the top was nearly at my fanny and so there was no sexy about it however if your taller they are very silly and beautiful
Little red stockings
These stockings are beautiful, very good quality I would imagine it would take a lot to ladder these. They hold up great and the lace around the top is very sexy and good quality. As much as these stocking are beautiful and good quality I am not sure if it was the colour but I felt like I was fancy dress as a witch. Just own preference but I think I will stick to black.
Don't Meet Expectations
I really wanted these to work. Being plus size, it is so hard to find stockings that work around my thighs. These just didn't cut it. I'm a size 20, with larger thighs and the lace just didn't stay up. No matter where I tried to place the lace hold-up part, it just rolled over itself. It squished into my skin and didn't look sexy at all (and barely stayed up for that matter).
Lovehoney Sheer Lace Top Hold Up Stockings
Arrived in a discreet packaging, quality of product was very good, normally I'm not a fan of stockings but when i put these stockings on along with a black basque my partner was well impressed and sex that night was above expectations my partner stated that I should wear them more often
Waste of money
Absolutely terrible. I'm 5'1 and a size 16. Now unless you're tall, these are going to be right up your arse crack or if you try to put them where they are supposed to sit you are going to end up with bunches of material everywhere. These are supposed to be a size 18-24 they are no where near it. They constantly roll down even with a belt, they don't stick at all.
Hold me up in all the right places
Ordered these as an accomplimant to the peek a boo bustier suspender set. I get slightly apprehensive when ordering stockings as I have quite short legs however when these arrived I was delighted to find they fit just right, with an elastic type band along the top inside to keep both the stockings up, often these bands are thin when I’ve shopped else where but these stockings had a good band width so I know they will stay in place. Another positive is the material! They don’t feel like they will ladder as soon as I put my foot in. Overall the colour is fantastic and red is always a super hot colour. They look amazing with my bustier piece but also on their own!
Not so great
Ordered this as not a big fan of suspenders. I am a size 20 so right in the middle of the size range. They were fine when u first put then on but began to roll down quickly when I started to move around! I just pulled them off in the end instead of keep tugging them up!
Awful
I've now lost count of the amount of 'plus size' stockings I have tried. As these were advertised to fit up to a size 24, i thought maybe my luck had taken a turn for the better Oh how wrong was I. Whilst they feel lovely, they Would. NOT. STAY UP I was extremely disappointed. Even upon asking a friend to try them on (A slim size 14) they wouldnt stay up for love nor money. Avoid.
Lovely Pair of Stockings
These are a really great pair of stockings. They come nicely packaged and easily accessible. The fit is great and they do actually stay up. I've had stockings before that loose grip after a while but these didn't. They wash well and l I haven't got a ladder in them as yet. Overall a lovely pair of stockings at a great price.
Just what I wanted
Right, so I'm a chap of round 5ft 9 with a short 30in leg and a thigh of around 25in and i purchased these stockings for myself since those belonging to my OH, who is a rather more petite than even I, didn't fit me! So, biting the bullet and dipping into a fantasy about wearing women's underwear, i ordered these plus size ones. I am so pleased I did, since they are virtually perfect for me. They feel soft against my legs, they have decent stretch and feel well made - backed up by the fact they have gone through several machine washes to date with no detriment to either fabric or shape. My legs are around 30 inches long, and they easily stretch to the top of my thigh, so am confident they would fit legs a couple inches longer. My thighs are around 25 inches in girth, and these stockings again fit perfectly. The top of the stockings is a lot smaller than 25in when relaxed, and has room for thighs of greater girth - probably by a couple inches. For my legs, there is no pinching from the stockings, and i haven't experienced a great deal of roll-down from teh top. The band that grips your leg is really effective - quite wide, and soft, i haven't experienced itching or other uncormfortableness. On the whole, really impressed, and I'm sure your legs would look even better in them than mine do
Roll Down
These are the only product I've bought from LH that I've not liked. I'm a size 18/20 but have chunky thighs. The Hold Ups just don't hold up, As soon as I put them on they rolled down and were really tight. I may try the bigger size to see if they stay up better but I always seem to have the same problem with hold ups and stockings so maybe they are just not for me :-(
These hold ups are awful
I'm a plus size girl and a size UK 16 in trousers so I ordered the 16-24 in the hold ups When they can they didn't fit they really bit into my thighs and looked ridiculous I wasn't impressed at all and contacted love honey they sent me another pair out incase wrong size had been sent out but they where exactly the same I wasn't impressed at all I wouldn't be ordering these again as I was not happy with them
Luxurious feel
Pleasantly surprised by the quality and luxurious finish to the stockings. I bought to compliment a PVC dress purchased on the same order and they definitely vamped up the look. Great fit too, I am 5"7" and a size 12, they fit perfectly (no bulge over the stocking top! Yay! ) Thanks Lovehoney 10/10.
Lovely
As a lover of lingerie on a lady and black stockings/hold ups in particular I always look forward to seeing these on. They fit my above average height lady very well and look great on. She hasn't managed to ladder them yet which is a bonus too. I picked up another couple of pairs to have "in stock" when she does manage to ladder them.

These coloured stockings add a flair of romance, love and sexiness to the bedroom as the colour is fun and definitely NOT BORING. They hold up well and fit perfectly, nothing bad to say about the product, my partner goes crazy for them because of the colour and how they just hold up and don’t fall down, these are definitely worth a buy especially if you have red sexy lingerie already!!

Every pair of stockings I've ever tried, have dug into my upper squishy thighs & showed off what I really don't want anyone to focus on! These stockings sit perfect. They sit mid thigh on me, they are the Goldilocks of stockings. Great quality, they feel lovely & look great on. I've worn them with a tshirt...he arrived early...& loved the reaction ;)
Show-stopping!
This was the first time I’d tried hold-ups and I’m so impressed! I was expecting them to slide down my legs really easily but the inner sticky bits stick surprisingly well! So far I’ve only worn them in the bedroom but I’d be comfortable wearing them out for a date night as they hold up well. The lace at the top adds such a sexiness to them and I feel like they flatter and elongate my legs (I’m 5’4). I’m going to have to be so careful not to ladder these as I love them too much!
Feeling Sexy
Short Review: I'll keep this one short as they really do what the say on the tin! They stay up, they are sexy to touch and sexy to look at. The plastic skin-sticky liner that is used to keep them up did pull the hairs out of my upper thighs but I'm not deducting any stars for that as I'm sure they are designed for females ;P They lasted 3 wears and 4 washes before a small ladder but they really did get put through rigorous 'testing'. Buying more.
Lovely pair of stockings
The red stockings were very vibrant and matched very well to an outfit I had purchased at the same time. They fitted vey well considering they are meant for size 8-16 (I’m a 12) and they stayed up well on their own as well as with suspenders. The material is very nice against the skin and they look very sexy on.
Just what I needed
I have been searching for hold up stockings that fit well without bulging around the top of the thighs and these are just perfect. They actually stay up which is also a huge plus. The material is your usual stocking material and so need to be handled delicately as any pair of stockings should be treated. I wanted to look sexy for my hubby but had never found items that looked sexy on me due to being a plus size lady but LH has an amazing collection of sexy outfits. So I started treating myself to some outfits & got a little red Lacey dress from LH. Red being my favourite colour. I came across these lovely red hold up stockings & thought I’d give them a try. I’ve bought hold ups before & found the material wasn’t great & they felt tight. But these stockings are great. They are so soft, they feel silky against my skin. The elastic for the hold up bit is great & not tight. When wearing my little red dress, these stockings & a nice pair of heels made me feel a million dollars. They wash well & dont ladder easily. Gorgeous red colour
I bought these to go with the nurses outfit. I loved the quality and feel of the stockings. I am 5ft 6 and there was plenty of stretch for a much taller lady. The pretty lacy hold up had strips going round them to stick them to your legs. As I put them on I found they rolled over, I spent a while undoing them but just couldn't get them to stay up. The trouble with putting a suspender belt on with hold ups is the material is that much thicker and I find the suspender belt harder to do up. I don't know if its something I am doing wrong as for the reason they won't stay up.
nice soft material, with them being red i wasnt sure if id like them on me but i absolutely love them, bought to go with the suspender comic book panties that are also on here (which are also great), look good together, think these might be my new favorite stockings lol
Lovely stockings
First time I had bought stockings and was quite hesitant to try them incase they didn’t fit my big thighs. They fit perfectly apart from the band at the top, they seemed to roll down and bunch up, but I think that’s just due to my thighs and nothing to do with the stocking itself!
Too small for me
As always lovehoney was spot on with with there super fast delivery and in plain packaging , Mr Postman won't know whats inside my box of naughty goodies! Sorry lovehoney , I love your stuff but for me these did not fit. I am a size 20 , thick thighs and short legs , the did not go up to my thighs , very short. They fitted my friend who is a size 12. She was happy.
Hold up stockings
Received these and was excited to try them on, very quick delivery for a doscounted lrice, they have sticky bits at the tops but this did not stop them completly rolling down no matter how much I tried to keep them up, i am so disappointed as these are advertised for the plus size girl.

Lovely sleek Sheer stockings at a great price. The Wife looks amazing in them, especially when teamed with some heels and a tiny skirt and no knickers! Not quite right
I was very happy with the quality of the stockings and they stay in place really well. However, they were ultimately returned (very easy process, thanks Lovehoney) because they created a bulge of thigh at the top of the stockings - not a problem I've ever had before (I'm a size 10/12 with skinny legs).

LH red sheer lace top hold up stockings
I ordered these to match with seduce me bra and suspender thong set, as they were on special offer. My items were discreetly packaged. I opened my items and rushed to try them on. First I noticed was the striking colour, the red is gorgeous, and the material feels super sleek on my skin. I put them in place and then my disappointment came. The tops kept rolling over, I spent a good few minutes adjusting to get them to stay, but sadly they wouldn’t stay put. Once in the suspenders it wasn’t as bad. I took a sneaky picture and sent to hubby at work! I hoping with more patience I maybe able to get them to stay put next time .
LH plus size sheer lace top hold up stockings
I ordered these along with the red as they were on special offer and to match the seduce me plunge basque in black. I’m so glad I did. This is my first pair of black gold ups, so was eager to try them on. As with all items from LH came discreetly packaged. I opened to find I was pleasantly surprised on the quality, as I said I bought on special offer for £3! I spent some time adjusting to keep them up! Unfortunately they kept rolling down. Once in the suspenders they did stay up! I think I needed some more patience . They do feel perfect on and they do give me the confidence to try new things with my husband. I think they will get plenty of use!

Stunning
Got this for OH because there are just some things that look sexier in hold ups. I was not dissapointed. Discreet packaging of an unmarked box with the stockings in a simple but visually pleasant packaging. I was VERY happy with the material and the lace patterning at the top. Seems to have an single strip of slightly sticky material around the top that gently sticks to the skin to compliment the stretchiness of the material. It held up very well. The only time it slid down a little was with very...vigorous movement. Thank you Lovehoney, once again your products did not disappoint. Yet to try it in the wash.
Great addition
I bought these alongside a LH basque set and they look incredible on the fiancé! You can use suspender clips if it completes a look, but once they are removed they will stay up as long as you need them too! Look fantastic just on their own too (if you catch my drift) and definitely adds a seductive touch to the bedroom.
Naughty and Irresistible
I'm a size 20 and these hold-ups do wonders for my squishy thighs! They are so smooth, soft and my master can't get enough of them! Inside there's sticky lining which is hidden well by the lacey pattern on the rims. The sticky inner layer clings quite well to my thighs, though when I bend my knee they'll sometimes unstick. But only slightly! Whenever I bring them out, he knows it's going to be a good night!!

Brilliant
My wife bought these stocking to surprise me along with a bra set. She loves the quality of them and the fact they don’t keep slipping down as they have a good amount of grip on them. Sizing was great too and the fact they are soft material makes hem very comfortable even for every day use. Would definitely recommend if you don’t want to indulge in a full suspender and stockings set.
Disappointing
Sexy feel to these hold ups and the lace top is very pretty. I'm a size 18 so after reading reviews thought they would be ideal for me. Was very disappointed that they would not stay up, kept rolling down :-( had to get a refund which was annoying. Need to find some that will fit my chubby legs :-(
Sexy but not right fit
These felt lovely when putting them on but the tops kept rolling down which was frustrating. I was so gutted as they were definitely sexy looking but for a plus size I don’t feel they stayed held up on my thighs (I’m an 18) I had to send back unfortunately :(
Great fit and very sexy
Great fit for size 22 and very sexy. I felt amazing in these. It's hard to find hold ups that will fit plus sized thighs. Wore them with heels a black babydoll and felt amazing for my husband. They did roll down a little though so more adhesive would be better to keep them up while having sex.
Boyfriend loves them
Bought these as my first ever pair of stockings and they did not disappoint! They stayed up all night long, if you know what I mean! Not great sizing
These are beautiful; great material, soft and very sexy. However unfortunately they dug into my thighs and created a bulge effect which was not very sexy! I don't have the skinnest thighs but they are not big either...just average, so I was disappointed. I think anyone who doesn't have really skinny thighs would be better off with the plus size option to avoid them being too tight.

Just fallen in love with my legs
Hey well, bit of an odd one I know, but I'm a middle aged male who is just discovering the delights of female underwear. So men ....... read this ....... One of my first challenges when purchasing ladies undies has been to work out what size to buy. Size 10, 12, 14 etc means nowt to me. On line guides also aren't too helpful 'cos women are just a different shape aren't they. So, hey-ho, bit of trial and error required and have already made a few purchases and got it so wrong they've ended up in the bin after a single outing. Well guys. If like me you are 5ft 10inches and are of average build (I'm 12 stone) then look no further than these beauties. I've always liked my legs ..... slim but quite nicely toned. For the record my calves are 14 inches and thighs 23 inches at the widest point. So ....... how do these fit .......? Absolutely perfectly. Like they were made for me. Quite simply, I put them on and fell in love. My legs have never looked this good ......EVER!!! Ladies, if your guy has a similar build to me then buy your hubbie/BF a pair of these as a surprise stocking filler. He will love them, and so will you!
Love these
These are great, good value, sexy stockings. I admit I have big legs but they are also proportionately long for my height. Often hold-up stockings end up too short on me for my liking: I like them to come up an inch or so higher than in the pictures for this product. These are a perfect length for me and sheer enough that I'm even happy with black (I normally prefer barely black). Yes, I'm picky, but I can no longer feel gorgeous in a sack as I did when I was in my 20s and a size 8, so it's hard work to find something perfect, and these hold ups fit the bill :)
Very sexy - love these
I had been looking to buy some stockings for some time, since my boyfriend expressed an interest in them, and eventually chose these because of the great price and reviews. My main concern when buying these was the size - to fit size 6-16 seemed a little unlikely to me. However, I am a size 6 and these fit me fine, looked very sexy, held up fine throughout and my thighs did not spill over the top. I decided to wear them once on the long journey to see him, but they became very loose on my legs during this time and did not look good by the end of it! They began to fall down and so I would suggest wearing them with a suspender belt if wearing for a long time. I am only 5ft so I was not surprised that they came up a little high on my legs but I managed to position them where I wanted them and they looked great, especially with heels. Overall - I loved this product, made me feel very sexy and my boyfriend also loved them.
A one-time wear item
I was very excited to hear that I’d be reviewing these hold ups, as I have to admit, they are by far my favourite item of lingerie! As always the item arrived promptly and discreetly. The outer packaging of the hold ups themselves is sleek and stylish, as you would expect from Lovehoney. First impressions: My first impressions were rather hopeful. The material felt soft, as did the lace. The seams seemed strong enough around the lace top. I was looking forward to trying them on! Fit: Being a larger lady (about a size 20), I find it very difficult to buy stockings that fit my thighs (even when the size guidelines state that I should fit). Alas, I did not have that problem with these! The lace tops fitted my thighs rather well, although not 100% perfectly. Initially just walking around in them they stayed in place (as hold ups should), however I did experience the dreaded ‘roll down’ when I moved around more ‘vigorously’. Quality: Normally I am very impressed with the quality of Lovehoney own brand lingerie, however to me these hold ups did not fit my expectations. After just one wear there were visible pulls on the leg, and the sheer leg didn’t keep its shape like good quality tights/stockings should do – they went all baggy. Further, there wasn’t a reinforced toe which is a personal annoyance of mine as it makes the hold ups so much more ladder prone. To add, the sticky strips that cause the ‘hold ups’ to ‘hold up’ started coming away from the lace. Overall: I am confused about these hold ups. The previous reviews are glowing, but this is definitely not the experience I have had with this item. The fit is fine, but for me the quality totally lets them down. They are a one-time wear product. Sorry Lovehoney, I’m not sold on these!
This is a stick up - or rather, a hold up
These stockings are beautiful - they have quite a matte look to them, not too glossy, which I think adds to the allure. The lace detail at the top is quite a wide strip, very pretty, and gives the stockings a lovely distinctive look. The material is great too, very smooth and silky to run your (or your partner's!) hands over. As a 5'6" woman who wears size 12-14 in bottoms, these stockings reach all the way up to about mid-thigh. They are wonderfully true to the picture and stay up perfectly. Unlike some other stockings I've tried before, these ones don't wrinkle around the knees and ankles. Although the material feels a little thin, I have yet to encounter any ladders or tears despite the number of times I have worn them so far!

These are great stockings and stay up really well, compared to others I have bought in the past. I am a size 14 but these fitted perfectly well and didn't sit too low on my legs (which I find unflattering) The material is a lovely soft material and they wash well too without going all bobbly! - would definitely recommend these stockings!
Great for shorter ladies
These stockings look lovely, only problem I found was at 5f9 they came to short and looked a bit daft on me. I am a size 20 so did expect them to be long enough but think if they had fit they would last as the didn't feel flimsy

I was very excited to see an email in my inbox asking me if I would like to test these stocking in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Lovehoney. As with all of Lovehoney’s orders my stockings were sent out to me in plain brown packing. The actual box that the stockings came packed in is nice sleek and very classy carton; Lovehoney’s pacing is always designed to be appealing. The front and back of the box shows the design and care instructions. I love stockings so I really could not wait to try these ones out, they feel very nice against the skin and the top floral patterned lace looks very pretty. On the inside of the lace tops is three bands of a sort of plastic that stops the stockings from falling down. Trying on the stockings was a great treat, they felt very confortable to put on and they stayed up very easily, even when dancing around the room. They looked amazing on, I really do love a good pair of stockings and these have shot up to my favorite pair. They are stunning on their own but when I added them to a baby doll they completed my outfit perfectly. With my lingerie that doesn’t have suspenders I did have an issue of my stockings not always staying in place like I wanted them to but I had no such problems with these ones. Of course I did use them with suspenders too. I wear stockings a lot and I wore these out, and I found them very confortable to wear for long periods of time. To wash the stockings if you don’t fancy hand washing them, I would suggest to put them in a lingerie bag and put them on a cool hand wash cycle, and only air dry them. These are a great pair of socking and I want some more, a girl can never have to may pairs of stockings right? They are made from a great quality material that I would highly recommend to everyone.
Sheer lacy loveliness
I've never been a fan of hold up stockings, not because I don't like how they look, because I do, but because I can never find a pair that stay up without the help of a suspender belt, so I was interested to see how these would 'hold up'. They come simply packaged in an eye catching pink box and wrapped in cellophane. On the back of the box is a drawing showing roughly how these will look on, a close up shot of the material showing the lovely lace design, and also the care instructions which is useful to make a note of as there are no tags on the actual stockings. Upon taking them out of the packaging I could instantly tell that the quality of these was far superior to any stockings I already own. Although they are sheer and delicate, they feel strong enough that you don't have to worry about sticking your finger through them and creating a hole or laddering them whilst putting them on. They are also very soft which is good. The top of the stockings are trimmed with a gorgeous lace design which is approximately 3 inches wide and has a beautiful wavy top. Again this material looks really delicate, (as a lace design should), but is very strong, so still no worries of creating holes. There is a seam on the lace top which I found to be a little bit roughly finished but barely noticeable unless looking closely. This seams sits at the back anyway when on and I'm sure a rough seam is the last thing your partner is going to notice when you're wearing these! On the inside of the lace top is two clear strips which are the 'sticky' parts if you will. I am very petite at 5ft 1in and a size UK 8, though sometimes I can get away with a size 6 in bottoms. These stockings fit me nicely but are very stretchy which I found to be a problem. Let me explain; The first time I wore these it was for bedroom attire and they looked really sexy and completed the outfit wonderfully. My husband also appreciated how they looked too. The second time I wanted to test their staying up power so I wore them for quite a while around the house and found that the more I moved and bent my knees when sitting etc these stretched and wrinkled around my knees and didn't 'spring back' to their original shape. This looked really awful and although they didn't fall down at all which is fantastic I wouldn't recommend them for everyday wear. Once washed however, they went back to their original size and shape. So, in summary, these stockings look really sexy with the lace top and sheer material, they are very comfortable and do not fall down at all. They are perfect for bedroom wear and are now my favourite pair for just that, but if you are looking for a pair for everyday wear, in my opinion these would not do.
Lovehoney Sheer Lace Top Hold Up Stockings
The Lovehoney Sheer Lace Top Hold Up Stockings, are a part of Lovehoney’s own range of affordable lingerie. The stockings are a semi-dark black tone which helps enhance your legs natural contours. They are adorned with a floral lace top which brings attention to your thighs, neither region, as well as your buttocks. With these stockings I was eager to see whether they would pass the few tests I often found many hold-ups failed. The stockings are made of sheer black nylon fabric, with floral lace-tops and silicone grips, and have reinforced toes. Length: Normally with ‘One Size’ stockings I find the length of them to be hit-and-miss, however with these I had no such issue. I have long legs (I’m around 5’10”), and was able to position these stockings right to the top of my thighs if desired. I was able to position the lace-tops lower if desired, without affecting the appearance of the overall stockings – I’ve found some which have been positioned lower to make the stockings appearance become baggy, but this wasn’t the case with these stockings. Fit: Right now I’m in the higher sizes of the ‘One Size’ category, and due to pregnancy my legs and thighs have become a lot less toned. Normally this would mean that ‘One Size’ stockings wouldn’t fit my legs, even if they state they should, but with these stockings they fitted perfectly. I was even more surprised to find that the hold-up stops didn’t dig in uncomfortably, or roll at the lace edging; they simply sat smoothly against my thighs rather attractively. Hold-up Silicone: The hold-up silicone can sometimes cause various issues depending on the brand. Even with the most expensive stockings I’ve found some to really fail at the silicone grip bands. Sometimes the silicone bands arrive wrapped so when worn they don’t sit right, however I found the silicone in these hold-ups arrived in excellent smooth condition. Other times the silicone arrives too grippy, yet these offered the right amount of grip, making sure the stockings didn’t roll, warp in appearance during wear, or fall. I found the silicone bands to be some of the most comfortable I’ve worn, and found it felt like I almost wasn’t wearing hold-ups at all. Appearance: The sheer black material is sadly where this product is let down. Now it may just be the pair I received, but they appeared streaky and patchy. They haven’t laddered yet, however the way they have been manufactured gives them a slight appearance that they have. In areas there are patches of different tones of black / sheer, almost as if the stockings have birth marks on them. I guess this isn’t too uncommon with cheaper sheer stockings, and they aren’t the worse in appearance when compared to some others I’ve had, but it noticeable to myself and my partner when I’ve worn them. Feel: These stockings offer more of a velvet feel, and are slightly less smooth than some brands I’ve tried. I’m happy to report that they don’t feel rough or scratchy when a hand is rubbed down them; unlike some I’ve had (particularly those under £5). The stockings can be washed by hand and left to dry naturally over the side of the bath. You should expect a good few wears out of these stockings. Overall, I like everything about these stockings other than the fact that my particular pair looked patchy. I feel the lace-top hold-up part is really comfortable, and I like how they sit smoothly, rather than making my legs bulge unattractively. Ill-fitting stockings can really ruin the moment and affect your confidence within the bedroom, however these avoid that. Also, it’s great how comfortable these feel to wear for every-day use, and I rather like how I don’t really notice I’m wearing them when getting on with my daily activities.
Classy and comfortable
I was delighted to be chosen as a tester for these Plus Size Sheer Lace Top Hold Up Stockings. Huge thank you to Lovehoney! As a voluptuous woman, it can be a nightmare finding hosiery that fits and looks flattering. So far these have been a great solution, although I do think they could do with a bigger 'plus' where sizing in concerned. The packaging for this item is very simple and eye-catching. The stockings are presented in a plain pink & black box, sporting a large Lovehoney logo and brief item description. I really like that Lovehoney have started using cartoons instead of models to demonstrate their lingerie, as it greatly reduces my body image hang-ups, and means I have nobody to compare myself to. The stockings are beautifully designed, and I particularly love the lace top detail, which gives them a really elegant feel. Inside the lace top you'll find several strips of rubber designed to stop the stockings from slipping. Whilst they do hold up reasonably well on their own, I feel they're best off worn with suspenders as they do have a tendency to roll down at the top, and it's very frustrating having to re-arrange them all the time! There is no sizing information on the packaging (except for the words 'plus size'), so it's hard to tell exactly who they'll fit. I would normally wear size 16-18 jeans, although I found these stockings a little too tight for my thighs, and they gave me a bit of a muffin top! However, they don't cut in too much, and they fit the rest of my legs comfortably. From a purely aesthetic point of view, I think these stockings look stunning. Paired with any outfit, they add a classy, sexy vibe which really takes it up a notch. My partner adores them, and he finds it very teasing to watch me slowly unroll them to reveal my legs, inch by inch. Equally, they're great for role play, and it can be erotic to leave them on during sex for that added bit of naughtiness! Overall, these are a beautiful pair of stockings which enhance the look of any lingerie (or everyday) outfit. I think Lovehoney's sizing is a little bit off though, and I wouldn't recommend them for size 18-24 women as the top isn't wide enough.
Really lovely stockings
I was delighted to be asked by LH to test these in exchange for an honest review - thanks LH ! They arrived speedily in the now very familar brown package that easily fit through my letterbox. On opening this the stockings come in purple/black Love Honey shiny cardboard packaging, nice that they dont come in just a bag, especially if you're giving them as a gift. Inside the packaging the stockings are sealed in a clear, easy to open bag. I loved the feel of these immediately. I'm a stocking girl and own loads - I dont do tights, and these feel great quality. The deep lace panel around the top is lovely and soft, not scratchy at all and the stockings themselves are beautifully smooth. The 'sticky strips' for want of a better description didn't feel very sticky and I did wonder if these lovely stockings would hold themselves up. I needn't have worried, these dont go anywhere once they're on. I popped them on and disappeared out for the day and they didn't even begin to slip down. You can wear these with a suspender belt as the lace is thin enough to get into the clips - a lot of lace top hold ups dont give you that option. Sizing of these seems to be very generous. I'm a size 16 on my lower half and only 5'2" tall. These were verging on being a little too big for me so would definitely fit someone with much longer/larger legs. The lace top grips well but not enough to give an unsightly bulge above it. Hubby loved the way my legs felt in them and I enjoyed him having a good feel ! These are really sexy stockings, and would be ideal for everyday wear or for the bedroom - a sexy pair of stockings look great with most outfits and add a little naughtiness ! These have been added to my stocking drawer but I've kept them in their packaging as they're so nice i dont want to spoil them or tie them together in a knot, which is what I do to my 'everyday' stockings. I popped these through my washing machine on a delicate wash and they came out just fine.
Sexy stockings
These hold-up stockings are not too long and not too short but just right. My OH is 5'4 and they sat very well on her thighs. They are a matt finish and slightly see-through. The lace top is pretty and stays up very well. They are more comfy than previous hold-ups that we have tried. The packaging of these stockings does not convey how nice they are as it looks a little basic. They don't catch on my rough hands and also peel off very nicely indeed!
Fantastic fit for thick thighs
I'm not a slim lady by any means, I have a rather voluptuous body, with very thick, chunky thighs about a size 20-22 dress size. I often have difficulties with plus size stockings and hold ups, with most of them either digging in, leaving unsightly rings round my thighs and almost cutting off my blood circulation, or they only fit just above my knees, making them look like pop socks, but I was very pleasantly surprised that the Lovehoney Plus Size Sheer Lace Top Hold Up Stockings fitted perfectly. The wide lace top with a scalloped edge is pretty, feminine and looks elegant across the thighs. The lace is also quite strong and durable, not much chance of laddering unless you have really sharp nails. There is plenty of stretch in the lace, but sadly not enough adhesive. Whilst the stockings do stick, if you wear them for any length of time, they have a tendency to slide down, so unfortunately I have had to wear suspenders if I wear them out and about in swingers clubs. For bedroom fun, you may get away with them staying in place. I love the sheer effect, far more sexier than opaque and the stockings themselves are rather durable. Teamed with your favourite lingerie, they complete a sexy outfit and make you feel desirable. I felt as though my legs looked slimmer too. I have hand washed these today, left to air dry and worn them again for an entire evening, albeit with suspenders, but that doesn't bother me, as at last I have found a pair that really fit comfortably. I have managed to keep them ladder/pluck free, they are fantastic value for money and a garment I would happily stock up on! Overall, these are perfect for fellow plus size ladies and bedroom fun to make a sexy lingerie outfit complete. I really do think that another two strips of adhesive on the lace, would make for a more secure stay. They are really good value, durable and also come in handy as a quick restraint for wrists and ankles! With the stockings coming in a lovely purple and black cardboard box that is adorned with the Lovehoney logo. Simple, yet stylish, I'd be happy to receive them like this as a gift.
Got them, wore them, love them
I recieved these stockings as a much appreciated tester, from the lovely Jess. Which made my day as I recently put a hole and laddered my last remaining pair of hold ups! They arrived in good time, inside the usual discreet packaging from lovehoney, which is brilliant as I live with my brothers and I don't want them seeing my sexy things! They were inside nice plastic packaging, which is beautifully basic - a lovely purpley, pink and black box with "Lovehoney lingeerie" at the top and basic information on the rear, it gives you a small picture of what the stockings material looks like which is 100% nylon. The first thing I noticed upon opening the packaging was how soft the stockings are! After I had done feeling the stockings up ;) I decided to give them a try on for when I went to visit my OH later on. And oh my god! I wasn't disapointed. They looked freaking awesome!!! They were classy yet sexy, showy but not trashy, they looked amazing on my (size 14) bottom half! No bulging and stayed up reasonably well. The lace top is divine and soft, and i just couldn't stop feeling my legs! They really made my legs look longer and my butt look good, which is a bonus as I pride myself on my fat butt ;)I must admit I was a little worried at first! As they are one size fits all, but they allowed my legs to slip in with ease. The material seems of high quality, and I know stockings as I consider myself a little bit of a stocking snob! The lace feels good, they hold up pretty well too, and can even be worn with suspenders, which makes them even better! (as I know hold ups tend to lose their sticky after a while). They could be worn with a dress or a skirt and you still wouldn't look tarty. But can also be worn in the bedroom adding sex appeal! They are very feminine and just beautiful. A very pretty pair of stockings! Would definately recommend! Just beware because I am sure that - if you are clumsy like me - long nails, and rings etc or pulling them up too hard may cause rips/laddering or snags! A must buy! You wont look back after these bad boys :P
