A really comfy Strap-On harness for oodles of fun!
The Lovehoney Premium Strap-On Harness Briefs arrived swiftly in Lovehoney's discreet, plain packaging - no clues as to what is inside in case you have a nosy postie or neighbours!!
The briefs come in their own cardboard box. They are wrapped in plastic - we would prefer something recyclable - but they are well sealed for transit.
As well as the briefs, you get a quick start guide which is useful especially for the first time you put the briefs on. The instructions are also printed on the box.
The briefs are made of black fabric, which is a mix of polyester or nylon and elastane. It's smooth, stretchy and good quality. The o ring is firm which can make some larger dildos harder to attach, but holds them securely. On each side is a quick release plastic clip which allows easy adjustments. On that point, the briefs are unisex and are adjustable to fit UK dress size 8 to 16.
We have a large range of dildos in different sizes; we were able to fit all of them with flat bases into the briefs, as well as a few dildos that had suction bases. Some of the slimmer dildos were able to move within the o ring but that is to be expected.
Getting the briefs on was straightforward; open up the waist strap where it is secured with velcro (which doesn't open it completely , just full size) then step through the leg loops. You then refasten the waist strap and tighten with the clamps for a snug fit. It is then easier to pop a dildo in when you are already wearing it.
We had sex - both pegging and vaginally - in a variety of positions and the premium briefs were really comfortable and stable. There wasn't too much rubbing from any of the straps and it felt a real step up from some of the cheaper harnesses we have used in the past. The only small downside is the lack of an option to secure a bullet vibrator in place, but you could use a vibrating dildo and/or vibrating love egg or similar if you wanted to.
Overall, a great harness that is really good value and well made.
Comfort, sexy and supportive.
We have had a few Harnesses over the last few years however this tops them all. The style of the harness is incredibly comfy to wear and the adjustable leg strap really give you that dominant feel.
The instructions are very clear and easy to follow on the box and it's adjustable to fit most shapes and sizes. We have tested it both gently and within rough play and it feels both secure and controlled during all types of play.
The only negative we found was when using it for the first time, it's much easier to insert a dildo into the harness before it's put on. Trying to insert the dildo while fully fitted can be a little difficult, especially if you have the lights down low. (Maybe just a update for the test on the box)
We love this product and look forward to using it more and more. If you're in the market for a new harness or your first harness, look no further. This is ideal for beginners, regular users and those experts.
Good but not perfect
We have tried loads of strapon harnesses and wish we could find a perfect one or help Lovehoney to design one.
I hoped this would be the one and there are certainly improvements but it's still not quite there.
The waistband is broad and sturdy and it is certainly better than the usual thin nylon straps which are always too long for us (size 8). Being thin, however, means there is still an excess of straps so they crumple up becoming less comfortable. It would be better if this was made in two sizes as the one size fits all doesn't work at the smaller end of the spectrum.
The leg loops are quite thin by comparison, not attached to the waistband at the right angle and need a strap at the back to frame the bum and hold them in position.
The pubic part where the attachment sits has an integrated o-ring which fits all but the biggest of dongs. Unfortunately, the material is quite stretchy so an attachment with any weight doesn't sit well. There is also no padding behind the dildo so any pounding would cause bruising of the pubic area.
There are certainly positives. . . . the waistband would be great for someone with a size 12 waist, there are no dangling excess straps and the straps are all made of quality tape.
I guess I just hoped this would have been better but it's certainly better than many harnesses.
