Great idea, terrible execution
As a disclaimer, I received this product as a free gift with another purchase. I am also a transfem on feminizing HRT. Anyways, I like the build of this vibrator with the small form factor, good material quality, and magnetic charging dock. However, I was hardly able to feel any sexual pleasure from it since the vibrations were very weak and buzzy. Personally, I would have steer cleared of this product, even if I was given the choice to have it as a free gift again. Also, I would not have spent my money on this, even if it was still cheap.
Smaller than expected
I ordered this as a personal treat. However it’s extremely small and difficult to handle. It’s also not as powerful as I expected. I was overall disappointed. I paid over £50 for something that seemed I could buy from a pound shop.

This toy comes nicely packaged with the usual Lovehoney branding, on opening you discover a very sleek looking charging case which not only keeps your toys clean when not in use, but also magnetic charging so no messing with cables plugging into the toy, and to top it off I wouldn't be worried about leaving this out on my bedside as it looks neat and tidy and doesn't scream out sex toy!
The toy itself is very easy to operate using the one button for speed and vibration pattern. The design is very neat and easy to hold in your hand between your fingers. The name is exactly what it's best at, a personal massager and we found it great for foreplay and build up. Adds to any massage, and can be used in the bath or shower too as a added bonus. My only gripe is the higher frequency vibrations, although strong they just don't do it for me as much when I comes to orgasm, I prefer a deep rumbly vibration but that's just me!

I recently received the Lovehoney Love Button Rechargeable Personal Massager for review. I am quite impressed with this product. This personal massager is something that should be considered by anyone looking for discreet pleasure and an alternative to bullet and other small vibrators.
As usual the into comes in good quality packaging, it's nothing super fancy but it does the job and is well designed. The toy comes with a charger and cable and the charger is a really good idea keeping the toy clean from dust and being a super discreet way to store the toy.

The button itself is perfect for small hands and has a fab amount of vibration and it's very easy to clean with very smooth material. The case is sleet which stores and charges your love button which looks just like a quality metal case. It comes with a very generous length charger which is a plus. It’s all very compact and and discreet
Open the Littlest Doorknob to New Tactile Pleasures
First thing's first. Packaging wise, you have everything you need. Plain cardboard box, simple and informative about the product (not for keeping, for me) containing this small toy's perfect charging pod come storage house, a charging cable for the pod (notably a standard USB-C connector so when you lose it, any regular phone, etc. cable will work fine - hooray!) and a quick start guide.... so, you're ready to go.
The charging pod is superb, it's very discrete. No-one who doesn't already know the secret is going to suspect it houses a sex toy. It just looks like any smart hub device. The toy inside is held securely in place by a magnetic connection to the base button. While charging the light flashes and once fully charged remains lit. There is nothing not to like about the chargers in this new Lovehoney range, they're brilliant.
Onto the toy, which I have dubbed "My Littlest Doorknob". Firstly, it is tiny. It is incredibly light and an easy shape to hold and manipulate. I love the deep blue colour and the silicone it is made from is so soft, smooth and silky. It feels very luxury. The base button is a hold to turn on and then a short click to cycle through the 3 constant and 4 pattern settings. Easy. An accidental double click at the start will, however, activate the travel lock. Held just by the button end, this is a really quiet toy, not silent, but it won't be heard from outside the room.
I have another vibe from this Lovehoney range, that being the Pleasure Point, that one is larger and definitely has a more powerful motor, delivering deeper frequency vibes. While this little doorknob is perfect in so many ways, the tiny size does come at the cost of a smaller, buzzier motor than it's larger sibling. I'm not a pattern girl, of the three constant vibrations, I favour the first. To me they don't feel like they increase in power so much as increase in buzz. The first setting is the rumbliest so it is here I stick.
Handling wise, I love the shape of this toy. I thought it would be a case of a finger to each side. It's not, the vibes are better and the sound much quieter if I'm only holding the button end with thumb and first two fingers, it is also much easier to position and manipulate held this way. The sensations you get from it vary hugely from a pin point tickle held lightly on an edge to a broad firmer feeling using the mushroom head with more pressure. Truth be told, this little doorknob is not going to get me off, clit wise, on it's own. The frequency of the vibes just doesn't quite cut it for me, I need them to be more deeply penetrating.
However... this brings me to where this little doorknob excels! This is in teasing and sensory play with your partner. Maybe strap into the underbed restraints... definitely pop on a blindfold and start playing. While my clit, generally, isn't a fan of a high frequency buzz my nipples love it, especially when they don't know it's coming, it's also far more effective used on my clit when it's a surprise. Worth noting, when roles are reversed, it's also a good little ball tickler! This is a lot of foreplay fun.
In conclusion, this is a luxury toy, that's a brilliant shape, let down, for me, by the high frequency vibrations (though some people prefer these, I'm just not one of them). It is, however, fantastic for foreplay fun, teasing and edging so it definitely still has a place with us.
Cute Little Button Vibe
The cute little blue silicone vibrator comes in it’s own classy silver storage / charging container, which is also used as storage for your vibe. Before using the vibrator, I plugged the container in to charge for approx. 2 hrs. When you put your vibrator away – it’s base magnetically clicks into place inside the chamber, and the charging unit keeps your vibe fully charged and ready to until next time - in a similar way that ear buds cases work.
This vibrator is made from high quality silicone and feels really soft and silky to the touch. Because of this fact, you really do need to use some good quality waterproof lube before using it as the silicone does tend to ‘drag’ on the skin if there is no ‘slip’ so to speak.
This is a really cute design which is easy to hold and tease with but unfortunately the vibrations were not for me. It has 3 vibration speeds, and 4 patterns that felt quite weak and buzzy with no real depth to them. The vibrator is also not the quietest.
This vibrator is waterproof which makes it very easy to clean and means you can wash the whole vibrator in hot soap and water or use a spritz of LH toy cleaner and rinse off.
Overall, I love the shape and petiteness of it – it is really easy to slip between your fingers for some teasing - however, the weak buzzy vibrations just let it down for me personally.

This is a very cute and discreet toy. It’s easy to use while having sex with your partner but it didn’t rock my world. If you are new to toys then this would be a great start it’s easy to use, small so doesn’t get it the way and will give you a buzz. But not for me.

Wife - I just loved it , the whole design , discreet storage and the lovely vibrations spread over a large enough surface area which was the main bonus for me as I can be sensitive sometimes to vibration, but this was perfect and I enjoyed EVER second of it.
Husband - Great toy for my wife as either self pleasure or to enhance our intimate massages. It was not so great for me as the intensity of vibration was not strong enough…. But I really like it strong! I LOVE the design and how modern / well thought out it is for keeping on the bedside table or travel.

Suitable for anyone, but button's a bit iffy
First thing I noticed when unboxing this toy was the absence of plastic, I love seeing brands working to be more sustainable, however, the graphic design on the box didn't really wow me. Was a little lacklustre and didn't feel premium, unlike the toy.
I was surprised by the charging compartment, not only does it allow me to store the toy, but it doesn't scream 'there's a toy in here!'. Comparable to an automatic air freshner, honestly, so it won't look out of place in the open.
The toy itself is something I've personally never seen before on the market. It's small, and not technically aimed at any specific demographic, and is completely usable by all.
The silicone is that soft touch silicone, giving the vibe a very velvety-feel, which in my personal opinion, always makes a toy feel luxurious.
Sitting between two fingers, the vibe barely weighs anything at all, and can be positioned comfortably. It's also completely waterproof and submersible, thanks to the magnetic charging component, so no need to worry about damaging electronic components with water.
I do have slight concerns regarding the functionality of the button positioning, as dependent on how one holds this, changing settings would require lifting the vibrator away, which some may not like.
The button did also give me some trouble when I initially inspected it, it would become 'sticky' (even without anything on the toy), and not cycle through the settings, which was a little frustrating.
Upon my second bout of testing a few days later, the button seemed to bring up more issues, in which it completely malfunctioned and the inputs for turning the toy on and turning on the travel lock completely blended together. Sometimes I was pressing twice for the travel lock, and it was turning on, and other times I was holding to turn it on, and the travel lock would engage.
When I could get the toy to function, I found it to be really pleasant. The three levels of vibration scale well, and as I do most of the time, I ignored the patterns.
I would probably use it more often if the button inputs didn't malfunction the way they did. Still overall a fantastic concept and a really fun toy to play around with.
Cute as a button
I absolutely loved the look of this toy. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I was smitten with its diminutive nature, sleek lines and the way it fitted into my hand. The little clicky power button and the sweet silver cylinder that acts as both charger and storage case. The lovely colour, how light it was and the feel of the material too were all massive plusses. I was so excited to give it a go, especially as I'd never used a toy of this shape and design before. Unfortunately it is in the use where I felt quite let down by this toy.
This love button just didn't pack the ooumph I needed. The vibrations were very buzzy, high frequency and not very strong at all, even on the higher settings. Couple with the flat head of the toy, which means the vibrations are spread out over a wider area, and it was difficult to really get a great deal of sensation out of this toy. Even turning it on its side and using the very edge was a dud for me. Light pressure, lots of pressure, on its side, up a bit, down a bit - nothing worked. I tried using it on other parts of my body and, while it was nice enough, it didn't get any toes curling. The pre-set vibration patterns were interesting but, again, not strong enough to do much for me.
The design is easy to hold and it does feel very comfortable and natural to slip it between your fingers and rest a thumb on the power button (almost like a fidget toy) but I don't think it makes for a great user experience when you actually get down to it. I found the lack of distance between the power button and the body of the toy a bit inconvenient and the toy being as small as it is means it can actually get a bit 'overwhelmed' by your personal downstairs topography which means the power button (and your fingers) can get lubed up in the process which makes operating the toy more difficult.
Again, I really liked so many aspects of this toy that make it otherwise very appealing. The little lidded charger is a fantastic idea. Firstly, it means the toy can be 'out' but not 'out out' while charging, which keeps it free from dust as well as prying eyes. It honestly just looks like a little smart speaker and wouldn't be out of place on an office desk or bedside cabinet. This also acts as a great storage container. The colour is cute, the size is very convenient, it's easy to clean, store and recharge AND it's quiet when in use. It's just a massive shame that I didn't get my rocks off with this toy because, other than that, it's perfect!

It does sit nicely in between your fingers and was easy to hold on to during play even with lube in it .
Decided to start off on the lowest setting just to get used to it and it was a bit disappointing so went up to the highest power on constant but still it did very little for me . I’m not a big fan of patterns on vibrators but went through them all hoping to find one that did something but it did nothing .
Used it on different body parts but I just found it frustrating and maybe a little annoying in the end .
