Perfect introduction

My first butt toy
Curious about anal play for some time I wanted to start with something not too intimidating. Liked the look of this prostate massager as a great introduction and yes it was. It's great colour and slips in fine. Hits a nice spot when I clench and feels amazing doing so when partner goes down on me. It does not always sit snug and has slipped out during sex a few times, if it was a bit more bulbous I think it would stay in better. This looks like a slightly updated version of the product I bought. I’m sure it would be fine for a starter but I haven’t yet had success with it. That’s probably because I have an enlarged prostate and the bulbous head is not settling in the right position. I actually had more luck with a small trainer butt plug. But, if you’re not a suffer this should be excellent although I’ve found that those that lean in a bit tend to be better.

Ignite the Spark in your P-Spot
The Lovehoney Ignite toys are a self-professed beginner friendly range, but that in no way should be misconstrued to mean basic, or low quality. For something as simple as a prostate plug, every aspect has been well designed and made.
The toy comes in a glossy finish box with an "open here" label that leads you to a magnetically clasped front flap revealing a window to view the toy. I wouldn't normally mention packaging, but it's a little detail I didn't expect on a beginner range product. As a bonus, you can take the magnets out of the flap and use them to stick stuff to your fridge! Haha.
The toy also comes with a drawstring bag which is a really nice thing to have for clean storage and organisation. It's something many other brands fail to include.
I was surprised how petite the toy is. No longer than my index finger, and the tip about as thick as my thumb. I've used bigger, but it's definitely not too intimidating for a beginner. It's a dusky teal colour making it a nice change from the standard black. The PU coated silicone is pretty seemless and velvet smooth. There's no unnecessary ribs or bumps for stuff to get stuck on so it's easy to clean.
Inserting the lubed up toy is very comfortable. Again, very beginner friendly due to its size. The flared base helps keep it's positioning and sits nicely too. I've tried other toys that have had a chunky base that gets in the way of wearing clothes, walking, or sitting down. But with this I can do all those things comfortably.
When I first inserted it I could feel the bulb of the massager pressing my prostate in a good way. Despite looking small initially, you definitely know its there and gives a comfortable full feeling. The toy has a nice firmness to it and the stem from the flared base is stiff. It allows it to transfer a bit more pressure to the prostate compared to a similar sized one from a 50 Shades advent calendar I had before, which was too flexible.
I found I could squeeze my pelvic floor muscles to pulsate the toy up and down in a massaging action that feels really nice. When I wanted to up the action I was able to pinch the base with my fingers and make stronger massaging motions sending that amazing tingle right up my shaft and to the head. It really heightens all the sensations you feel there, making the blow job from my wife even more explosive! I always get a great feeling afterglow in my pelvic region after orgasming with prostate play.
Overall I highly rate the Ignite prostate massager. It feels like the perfect beginner prostate plug if you've never used one. Have tried a few of these little guys but I think this one is my favourite to date. None of them have been premium or technically advanced so I'm pretty sure this is a very fair assessment.
It is a standard massager, an unassuming colour and doesn't have much weight to it, which I like. It comes in the normal everyday box, again, nothing fancy and can be recycled so thumbs up there. It comes with a nice little draw string storage bag.
The toy itself is a very pleasant blue colour and has a slightly larger tip than I have seen on others. first thought was that it is a bit stiffer, less wobble, than others. Turns out the firmer material is what I like as it keeps a bit more pressure on the right spot. So that makes it my favourite one so far. we'll be keeping it at the top of the toy box.
I'm not going to talk about how easy it is to clean, or how easy it is to insert, as we are all different but the same. I'd recommend it as it has a bit more rigidity and sits in just the right spot.
Small but packs a punch
Packaging: This prostate massager comes in a tidy little package with its own bag which is a nice touch. Packaging looks smart, albeit a bit difficult to open initially! (Minor issue, I’m just impatient!!)
First impressions: it was a little smaller than I had imagined so wasn’t sure if it was going to do the trick but my first impressions of it were that it was well made, hard but flexible and the quality of silicone felt good.
First use: I’ve got the Lovehoney P-play prostate massager (no longer stocked) which is longer and firmer so I’m comparing it to that. I actually found the Ignite PM harder to get in (which you may or may not like depending on your preferences) so I was surprised about that considering it’s smaller, although the bulb at the end is possibly slightly bigger. But once it was in, man alive!! For me, it hits the right spot and actually made me feel fuller inside. It may be ‘smaller’ to look at but because of its bends and curves I found it to hit the spot brilliantly. I felt the pressure on my prostate better straight away where as my other PM you have to manipulate to find it which is no bad thing really if you like a bit of play.
This product takes the pressure of finding the prostate away because, for me, it found it straight away!
I’m looking forward to playing with it more!
