A great ‘starter’ dildo
This dildo joins a handful of others similar I’ve bought the wife. The others are ‘lifelike’, but this is more like a floppy-jelly-like dildo (not in a bad way… just different.
The packaging is pretty basic, the dildo when you pull it out is also basic. It looked a little smaller than I was expecting based on the other dildos. It’s definitely not for your usual ‘size queen’ and I’d say is probably about the size of an average penis. It also sounded and read like it was going to be ‘bigger’ than I am, but it was a little smaller.
Out of the box it’s floppy! Way more floppy than our other dildos. Not squishy, as such, but has more of a bend and softness to it. It obviously has a suction bottom so that you can hold it as normal, but also use it hands free. It definitely takes a bit of a beating before it becomes unstuck.
The first use went well! The wife clearly enjoyed it, and definitely said it didn’t feel quite as lifelike as our others - but a bit of variety is only ever a good thing in my opinion. It wasn’t better or worse than the others… just a little different. It will definitely be used again. I found the quality to be better than expected and I enjoy it. I do, however, disagree with the size description being misleading, that this is a 7 inch dildo.
It is not, in fact, a 7 inch dildo, it is actually, a 5 inch dildo, with 2 inches of balls and suction cup attached. There are plenty of similar dildos on this site advertising themselves with the insertable length in the title, not the overall length. I, stupidly, trusted this claim, and then was let down. The perplexing part is that, not only would I have just bought a more expensive and bigger one, but also I would likely have become a repeat customer, if not tricked into being dissatisfied. Like, just, why? You lost money on the initial sale, and you lost repeat business.
P.s. After buying, I saw another review mentioning the balls are at an odd angle, so I was worried when it was being shipped. When I got it, there's no problem. Great for Beginners and more experienced
As usual, this item was delivered quickly and discretely by Lovehoney. The dildo comes in a plain box with the logo/ description on the front and description/ image on the side. Although it is not “in your face”, it is not the kind of box you can leave out if you share a house with others, but it does make storage handy, so you don’t have to purchase a separate storage bag.
I already own several dildos, but this is the only one that is realistically sized (in terms of the “average” penis length/ girth for UK) as, although it is called “7 inch” in the title, it only has 5” insertable length/ 4.5” girth. I was worried that, being smaller than previous dildos, that it wouldn’t be as good, but I didn’t need to worry- this could hit all the right spots! The only negative (which isn’t a big deal) is that the balls are very odd shaped/ not in proportion to other more realistic dildos that I have seen but this is only visual and doesn’t affect the use of the item.
The dildo itself is unusual as other “clear silicone dildos” that I have purchased in the past still have a bit of a tint to the colour, so they’re not actually see through. This however, at first glance, could be mistaken for glass and can be seen through. The silicone is very nice to touch- firm enough that you can ride it/ use in a harness/ etc. but very flexible- much more flexible than any other dildo I’ve used. So much so that I could angle it to brush against the clit while riding which I haven’t been able to do previously.
The suction cup is better than any other dildos I’ve used - it sticks well to a tiled floor, wooden chair, mirror, and wall very easily and doesn’t move around when being ridden. In fact, at one point I could not get it to come unstuck! This was resolved by pushing firmly on just one side of the suction cup to release the vacuum.
This has only been used vaginally but, if it was to be used anally, I would say a condom would be needed as this is made from TPE which I have found can be quicker to discolour, even with the best of cleaning.
Due to the smaller size, I didn’t need any lubricant with this, but any water-based lube would work well if required. Clean up is easy enough- just a few squirts of toy cleaner in warm water.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this dildo. It is perfect for both beginners (as the size is not daunting at all) and experienced (as it is very flexible and a good size to hit g-spot and rub the clit too).
