Weird, disappointing, A1 is rubbish
I too was suckered in by the marketing and hype about this toy. It is extremely tight to fit, the sensations can only be described as weird. I have tried for 5 days now to fall in love with it, but, I go in hard and come out soft without any joy. The app is OK but A1 is rubbish. I wanted to loved this toy, especially for the price. But, it will make a nice vase now.

I don’t consider myself massive. I’m certainly more girthy, but nothing outrageous. Even with copious amounts of lube, could not really get it in there, certainly with any level of comfort/pleasure. XL it isn’t.

I have to advise this product is not for xl size due to struggled to enter even as previous reviews mentioned guiding with fingers did not work.
However I must say the product is of high quality and the use of app is a added benefit if you can fit in.
Not great
I bought this as I was looking for something new and I was seduced by the marketing. It has some nice vibrations in the sense that they felt a little different, but I didn't feel there was much difference between the patterns. The device was not very long, and a little difficult to clean without fear of tearing the rubber material inside. The app was easy enough, but more of a distraction than an enhancement. Not what I would expect from Lelo.
Great orgasms with the stroking
So, its really nicely packaged as you would expect, when you open the box and feel the toy for the first time, you know its been made to a very high standard and has a real high quality feel to it, and feels good in the hand with the ridged casing. The inner sleeve in its contrasting blue colour is really soft to the touch. It also has a window which becomes more interesting upon switch on. I will say at this point that there was no operating manual supplied but it is available via a link supplied in the box. This link didn’t work for me but a quick goggle search found the link to the pdf. To be honest, it wasn’t worth it, it’s not a difficult toy to operate with its 3 buttons.
Next up is just a case of adding your favourite lube (or one of the 2 supplied trial sachets) and seeing what it’s all about. You need to be fully erect when using this toy and insertion feels great, the inner ribbed sleeve feels really pleasurable. I am not sure I would have purchased the XL but at around 6. 5” I felt it was a really comfortable and a nice tight feel. I don’t think there is actually much size difference between the 2 models with the XL only being around a quarter of an inch larger.
Operation is really simple and the toy can be used with or without the app. I started off without the app, switch on is a simple long press of the power button and then you can scroll different modes with each single press of the same power button. There is another + and – button to control intensity. This is my first issue with this toy, whereas the outside of toy lights up to indicate modes there are no lights on the operating buttons and I found them frustrating to find when being pleasured, especially the up and down buttons. You really need to familiarise yourself with where they are. As the charging port even lights up I would of thought this would be a no brainer, and with the high price something I would of expected.
This is in no way a stroker toy, it is designed to just place and enjoy. As soon as you switch on, the vibrations feel wonderful. There are 2 motors, one that vibrates the sleeve around the shaft and one at the tip and these operate alone or together depending on the mode selected. I say vibration but it’s not a feeling I can compare to any other vibrating devices I have used before. The motors cause the sleeve to kind of rumble whilst giving a gripping feel, it really is extremely enjoyable, and as someone who doesn’t always climax easily, I only lasted about five minutes playing with the modes and it was a strong orgasm greatly added to by the fact you can stay in place if wanted for that extra bit of post orgasm torture :D. Another fun thing is that the window on the side of the toy lights up in a very cool matching blue showing you the sleeve and what is going on inside. My partner found this feature pretty cool, it gives off voyeuristic vibes in pretty lighting.
So on to the all-important app controlled part. I am not always a big fan of using my phone to control toys, this one is ok, really simple to download and connect which isn’t always the case, so full marks on that. Simply find the toy within the app and connection instructions are really clear. The app is designed with a very manly look of rev counters and gauges and allows all manner of different variations of the 2 motors including patterns and speeds. This gives you, what seems like infinite options to mix up what each motor does, change patterns and speeds. Plenty to play with and lots of fun to be had but still not a massive fan of phone control unless its operating a partners toy or using remotely. And this toy is really good without the app which I love. Good to have options though. Another disappointment is there is no option to hand over control to someone remotely, a feature that for the price I think would have been a good and fun addition. Another thing the app boasts is an AI mode but honestly I haven’t gotten anywhere with this, it just seems to stay on a low rumble and doesn’t change at all, pretty disappointing as I was expecting something more.
I will just add in here that the Lelo app is really good, a comprehensive app filled with articles about sex – not just toys but everything from sex positions to health and relationships.
This is not a quiet toy, it starts off with quite a low rumble but once you start ramping up the speed it becomes quite loud, Not the toy for discretion.
Cleaning the toy is straightforward with a good rinse and some toy cleaner although there is no way to remove the inner sleeve as its very much attached to the motors, so I’m opting with good rinsing. Although as Lelo try to say it does look good sat on the shelf I would of thought that for the price it would have come with a storage bag, but alas it doesn’t so in the draw it goes with the other toys.
Overall I have really enjoyed this toy, it gives pleasure that is different to other toys and for that I applaud it. Would I pay full price for this toy, maybe not, it’s the little things like the lack of lights on the buttons, the AI mode and the fact you can’t give control to your partner remotely, even the fact it comes with no storage bag. If it was on an offer for slightly less or if you’re not bothered by the little issues then yeah it’s a great feeling and gives a wonderful orgasm.
As I like to review things thoroughly I thought I would throw it down the stairs, okay so I'm clumsy and dropped it a few steps onto the tiled floor, and it was perfectly fine so another good point for quality.
