Disappointing
I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately I was left disappointed.
The vibration wasn't as powerful as I hoped, I couldn't use my dildo at the same time as it stopped the device pressing on my clitoris effectively.
The battery didn't last long enough and I had to swap toys to enable myself to cum.
The toy was noisy as well so if you were trying to be quiet it woild be difficult.
Magic wand
Very disappointed, I was expecting my world to be rocked but unfortunately it didn't hit the spot.
The vibration wasnt as intense as I needed, and it was difficult to get the right spot when I had a Dildo inside me.

Queen worthy of her title
While the Hot Octopus name might cause the imagination to run wild with scary thoughts of tangled tentacles, the thought of a Pulse Queen seems a little more intriguing and worth indulging some time to explore.
The packaging isn’t disappointing but I wouldn't expect it to blow you away. If, like me, that isn't what you're really interested in then it’s just fine. The box contains all you need to get going, instructions are simple but adequate and the basic silk-like drawstring bag is, erm, black and has Hot Octopus written on it.
The Pulse Queen herself though is where things start to get more interesting, a beautiful sea green colour, soft to touch and pleasant to hold. The charging port is miniscule, located as the base of the device does what it should with no issues. The buttons are very tactile, easy to locate, even with your eyes closed (they might well be!!!) and even more importantly probably the best positioned buttons I’ve come across, closer to the users hands than their pleasure point, so at the right end of the stick! How do so many others get this wrong? Control is pretty intuitive with the power button providing on, off and pattern cycle while the plus and minus do what you’d expect.
As a firm believer in the power and pleasure of a suction toy I was a little sceptical of a design that looks familiar albeit with the hole missing! Lube as always can be a help and is recommended in this instance. The patterns are what you might expect and although I’m not a super fan of too many patterns, they are available and might be what you're looking for. The Pulse Queen doesn’t disappoint, coming close to beating my favourite suction vibe and reaching very similar highs when things come to a climax! At the risk of repeating myself, having the controls in the right place certainly helps avoid frustration along the way!

I’ve only had the toy a day but had to leave a review.
A friend of mine recommended the PULSE QUEEN and I am so pleased they did. It blew me away and is now, without doubt, my favourite toy. Its not like my other vibrators in the sense that well, it doesn’t really vibrate. Instead, it has this disc the pumps up and down a little like those body massagers you can get at the gym.
This toy made me cum within about a minute! Usually, I feel a little numb down below after reaching orgasms but not with this toy. I was able to go straight back at it and ended up having 5 orgasm one after the other!

I love Hot Octopuss toys and have wanted a pulse plate vulva toy since I tried out the Pulse Duo with a partner years ago. I missed out on the predecessor of this toy so I was super excited to receive this new version.
I love the look and feel of this toy. It’s just feels nice to hold and use. It feels well thought out with the curve and the positioning of the control buttons. In use, it’s easy to find the right button without stopping to look.
Now, this is not a quiet toy. Not in the slightest. If you find loud toys distracting or you don’t want people hearing it, this is not the toy for you. However, if noise isn’t a problem, keep reading.
I prefer toys that offer something other than just standard vibration, and so this toy really works for me. The pulse starts off really rumbly and does get higher frequency as the intensity goes up, but I don’t find that too much of a problem. It’s rare for a toy to be able to make me orgasm on the first setting but this one absolutely does, and in far shorter time than I expected! That’s not to say that I never turn it up, but it’s definitely one of the more powerful toys I own so I don’t always need to.
I am guilty of smushing toys into my vulva and obviously you can’t with this toy or it will stop, but it did not take me long to adapt and now I get the right pressure easily every time and can even grind a little on it.
Even at top speed, there isn’t too much vibration in the handle, although it does make the back of the toy vibrate which could be fun for use with a partner, particularly if one of you likes stronger vibration than the other.
My only niggle is that the battery life is a little short. If it’s fully charged, it easily lasts a session but I am hopeless at charging toys so maybe Hot Octopuss would consider a mains powered one? Please!?
Almost pulse perfect
I'll be honest here, I wasn't totally sold on this for first time use. I've been feeling a bit ropey since I received this, then went fully downhill so I feel my body probably wasn't responding as it usually would. I've tried it several times since and here's my overall thoughts...
I'm loving the colour. I'm all for the exciting, non standard sex toy ones. The silicone is super soft, add a little lube and you're in for some fun. Cleaning wise, because of the area around the pulse section, more caution was needed to make sure this was fully clean after use.
I really really like how this holds in my hand. It's kinda mid size.
For someone who likes dual stimulation I did find the head/pulse section a little bulky so I had to use a smaller dildo so I could have full use out of both. I'm in total agreement with other reviewers that this baby, is a noisy one! If you need some discretion, this is not the one for you.
I'm one of these individuals that usually holds a clit toy pretty hard against myself. With this, due to the pulses you really can't do that as it disrupts the motions. It definitely took a few tries to figure out the perfect way to hold this and how much pressure to use! They do start rumbly (which I LOVE) but too high and you're into the numbing buzzy zones.

Queen of (noisy) Wands
This toy feels very nice in the hand, it reminded me of a modern showerhead, or even some kind of expensively designed telephone receiver. It's light and easy to hold. I particularly liked the minty blue colour. Of course, it doesn't really matter what colour a toy is but it makes a nice change from the usual pinks and purples.
It feels appropriately sensual too, buttery soft silicone that lubes up beautifully and warms to the touch. The control buttons are well placed, easy to locate and use in the heat of the moment. Press the middle button to turn on (and scroll through the patterns) and the plus/minus buttons to increase or decrease the power.
Power-wise, the toy has definitely got some oumph. I was actually surprised how many levels of intensity it offered, especially as it seemed pretty powerful as soon as I switched it on. If you like strong, intense, buzzy vibrations, you'll get a lot out of this toy. The main vibrating nubbin is firm but with enough 'squish' so as not to be unyielding or unpleasant. It also moves and angles to allow more accurate positioning.
Be warned, this toy can get LOUD. On the lower settings, it's not too bad but the higher the power, the louder it becomes. To the point where it actually seemed louder than my small bedroom dehumidifier and I was convinced my adjoining neighbours would think I was doing some DIY work - which, I guess I was!
Recharging is quick and easy and, while the 40 minute run-time might seem a little on the short side, you absolutely won't need it. This toy will get the job done in literally minutes so, unless you're looking for a double-figures orgasm session, there's little chance of it losing charge and leaving you hanging. Pulse, Pressure and Power Queen
Upon arrival, the Pulse Queen comes in a rather beautifully decorated box, matching the colours of the toy. It’s simple but informative with photos, facts (and a spelling error I can’t unsee!). Inside, the toy is accompanied by a charging cable, user guide/manual, and a storage bag. The guide is simple enough to understand with diagrams depicting use.
The toy is predominantly a green silicone. It’s smooth, it’s easy to clean, and it’s gentle against the body. At 7inches in length there’s plenty of room to hold and grip on to, and it’s ergonomically designed to hug the body. If you want to go hands-free, you can! There’s plenty of toy to grip between your thighs or rest wherever you like and lean on to comfortably.
Charging is easy, and the toy pulses a blue light to indicate charging. 150 minutes of charge time results in 40 minutes of play time – I can’t complain as I don’t often have long sessions, so this means a few sessions of play before fully charging again.
To power on, a 2 second press of the main button will get things pulsing! The same goes for powering off.
For all the Power Queens out there, you can’t really go wrong. There are 9 speeds, with the lowest already being quite powerful, and the highest being somewhat indescribable! I settle comfortably in the middle, around 4 or 5, while 8 and 9 leave me numb and tingly after a short while of use.
There are 7 vibration modes that you can flick through with a simple press of the main button. They vary from stop/starts to quick pulses to increases and decreases to waves but I always prefer a steady rumble if I’m looking to orgasm. It’s fun to experiment with all the modes though, especially when increasing the speed. Again, this is basic enough to operate, simply using the + and – buttons on the toy. They’re easy to distinguish in the heat of the moment without having to look!
The Queen is in no way discrete! With an increase in intensity comes an increase in noise, and boy is it loud. There is no chance of muffling, unless you whack the TV volume right up (and I mean… right up).
With too much pressure, the toy does just come to a halt and stops pulsing regardless of what setting it’s on. Understandable considering the mechanics of it however frustrating if, like me, you like that pressure.
The toy is also waterproof, and although I haven’t yet used it in the bath or shower, I can imagine it will be very fun and something I am very much looking forward to..
Lots of fun
Well now this is fun! I was delighted to get the opportunity to test this, I love clit toys and this one is definiin the 'love it' category. The box has a great statement pattern on it, and makes you feel like this isn't your average wand. And its not, theres nothing average about it. I'll keep the box for storage but it does come with a bag that keeps it clean while its sitting out between uses. It may not get put in the box for a while!
The lovely mint colour isn't your everyday sex toy colour and I love that toys are moving away from the standard black, red and pink designs. The silicone is velvety smooth and has a wee crown design on it, the shape of the toy tapers at the handle making it really easy to hold. Its the perfect shape to fit comfortably between 2 bodies and I love that I can lay my hand on it to hold it in place when I'm alone. It doesn't take much more than that to keep it in place. The controls are on a hard plastic section on the outside of the handle, with raised, shaped buttons. Circle power button and +/- shaped buttons for increasing and decreasing the intensity. There are 9 intensity levels and its nicely rumbly until it gets to about level 5 where it has a bit of a buzz, but not overly so. For me, this toy has a lot of power so I wouldn't really go past level 5. I think most people will find a level they love with this. There are patterns too, 7 of them, press the power button to scroll through them and the +/- buttons to change the intensity and scrolling back down through the minus button will turn the toy off.
