As many have said, it can get quite loud. The head on mine also tilted since it’s not always a direct-on pressure. I don’t known if that made it malfunction or just age (she had a good, long, life) but after 8 years it no longer runs properly, lol. (Overheating easily or just a repeat cycling of intensities over and over and only randomly will the buttons work for a consistent, chosen level now. ) But it was great for those 8 years! The lowest settings are tolerable so the “extra” shouldn’t fool you. But it is nice and available when needed! My only complaint was that sometimes I wanted more directed effects and the head seemed a little large. But there are also other things on the market for that.

I recently tried the Doxy wand and had a mixed experience.

Well what can i say. . . i've had a different response compared to most people that buy this . after buying the lelo large wand 2 , this sucks comparatively it's big and heavy but that isn't the main problem, the main problem is it's so noise and vibration strength, it's both very loud and weak in strength. If you're after stronger vibrations personally i'd buy the lelo large wand 2 over this every time it's slightly quieter too .

Good but not enough

Bought this to replace my old faithful Doxy I bought back in 2017, I assumed it would be the same, and maybe it is? But I feel like one of the lower settings is missing. Level one feels great, and I always went from there to two, but the two on this one feels like a three on my old one. Disappointing
I’ve wanted one for years and I’ve been so disappointed with it. The vibrations are way too strong, even on the lowest setting. The head is too big for targeted stimulation so it ends up being overstimulating and not in an enjoyable way. It’s really heavy aswell, I imagine it’s better for play with 2 people with vaginas but it’s not good for solo play. Sounds and feels like I’m being jackhammered. I wish the handle had more grip as its plastic - a more textured handle would be helpful, and I wish there was a lock button as if you slip you can easily lower settings or turn it off. I have loved this wand since the moment in 2017 i got this. It was very powerfull. I loved it that much i think i overused it and recently the wire snapped so im on the market for a newer model without a wire. Hopefully it is as good. It was realy easy to use, came with quite a long wire . The wand head was very comfortable. Was fun to use solo or with a partner. I tried other wands before and never found them to be as good as this one. Others felt more flimsy and didnt give the same vibration. You could definately feel the build quality.

It's a Doxy, what do you expect?
If you've owned a Doxy before- you know exaclty what to expect. This one is slightly off the main line, being a decorative wand, and it's a bit more light weight, the wand portion itself a bit thinner feeling, but by no means cheap. Just not as robust. But the same head and power.
If you haven't, well this is about as cheap as they get. The head is a lovely plush silicone, the motor takes a while to heat up so it's got staying power, and it *will* get the job done whether you want to or not. This is a plug in modle, no battery. But it uses that energy. The lowest setting are a pleasant, gradual building, crotch encompassing sort of rumble, and the highest setting will rattle your teeth. A bit loud, but you cant have a portable paint shaker for your ge titles and not have it be loud. It could certainly be worse and a close door and blanket muffles most.
simple setting. An on/off button, and and up button, and down. Pressing the on button starts a constant vibration the intensity of which can be adjusted. HOLDING the on switch makes it cycle through intensities at a single pattern, low to high, repeat, and the up down switch makes it cycle faster or slower. No super fancy and strange beats here, just the basics. And sometimes that all you need.

I'd be remiss to not mention Lovehoney's excellent customer service. I contacted them about a package 9bviously lost by the currier to try and get contact with them, and they acknowledged my evidence and compensated me despite not being at fault. This rose wand feels cheaper than the other none pattenered wands with it's horizontal wand handle print's bumps at the seam.Though the head has a pleasant, smooth silicone texture, the thickness weakend the rumblyness. Much quieter than my original Doxy wands purple's level two, even at highest speeds. Sound greatly muffled under a thick comforter. Vibrations weaker than my purple original doxy wand. I can apply more much more needed pressure with the rose wand, due to its neck not bending as much as my purple wand, but even at highest speeds rumbles get dulled down; Though the head has a pleasant, smooth silicone texture, the thickness weakend the rumblyness. I bought this on sale for $74.99 but it's not worth that. I would not buy again even on sale. Just shell out for the die cast Doxy wands, they supposedly have much more power.

Although it is not a subtle device, being on the larger and heavier side compared to many toys, it is still stylish in design and not unattractive to look at. You will, however, need a decently sized space to store it in as it is over a foot in length. Thankfully, given its power, it is sturdy in build and at no point has it felt fragile or at risk of breaking with over-zealous use. This wand is on the noisier side (although not obnoxiously so in our opinion) and you might struggle to use it covertly, but given that this toy is aiming to be one of the most powerful out there this is perhaps not such a surprise to many people.

I bought this to replace my Lovehoney Magic Wand and at first I didn't like it, as the Lovehoney one has a control butting which allows you to specify the intensity. Whereas the Doxy has buttons, so when you increase or decrease the intensity it's set. However this has turned out to be great. I've only managed to get past the second intensity option twice. It's that powerful. I live with my boyfriend so the noise isn't an issue but I would be wary if I lived with family etc. It is now my go-to toy and I wouldn't be without it!

Basically, it comes down to the buttons changing the levels of intensity. It goes from super powerful to very low without much in between. With the older dial version, you could control the speed very well. It certainly is powerful, which is what I wanted but if you can’t vary the speed well then I’m not interested. it’s a well-made product. I purchased this in late September, 2022. It's remained my go-to wand in spite of owning others, up until a couple of weeks ago. Early October, the head broke in such a way that it's now no longer properly attached, only being held in place by a spring. It's still usable, but is now extremely loud and the head does not stay in place when pressure is used.
Outside of my concerns about the longevity of the wand, I loved it. It has an attractive design, the head is easy to clean and feels much nicer than silicone, it's mind-blowingly powerful, the noise is proportional to the power, it has no annoying patterns, and a very long cord.
Even though it broke after a little over a year, I'm honestly still tempted to buy another. That alone should be a testament to the power.

Can’t take a pounding
My partner and I purchased this Doxy Want vibrator after our first wand stopped working and lost power. When the wand arrived I was delighted. It was heavy and very sturdy looking as if it would withstand a beating. When it came to use it for the first time it was simple and easy to control the speed and the large buttons made it easier to put on/ off. When this monstrosity came, I didn’t know if it was a wand or a baseball bat, it’s absolutely MASSIVE! I was hesitant about my husband's choice of this beast of a vibrator. Disappointing

I bought this powerhouse of a massager about a year ago. It packed such a powerful motor I could only use it on the lower settings, and it would send me over the moon every time.
But it appears it couldn't hold up to being used more than 100 or so times. I turned it on and the motor made a whirring grinding noise before refusing to vibrate anymore. The buttons became non responsive and while I can hear it turning in the handle the head doesn't vibrate at all.

We had a lovehoney wand for a number of years that worked perfect and was time to replace. So we thought we would give the doxy wand a try. I can honestly say stick to the lovehoney wand 100%.
The doxy wand kept losing power and when it was working ok it was noisy and heavy and bulky to use. I can’t understand what warrants the price for the doxy over other wands. Lovehoney customer service was fantastic and sorted the issue out straight away. However even if ours wasnt dropping in power and working ok I don’t see how this is better then wands that are around £20-£40 cheaper. Save your money and go lovehoney we had ours for 2-3 years and it worked great.

It does nothing for me

I’m sorry but this is actually the best thing I’ve ever purchased. I’ve wanted a doxy wand for more than I can remember. Well my LH wand died after many years of use so it was time I needed an upgrade. This is quite a hefty price tag but I can assure you it’s 100% worth it. I love the LH mains wand it’s amazing but this is actually off the scale. No disrespect to the LH wand but this is amazing. Doxy the way forward
We got this as the good lady wife had worn out her old LH wand. We why quite surprised how big it was but once she used it ,t gave her the most noisy, wonderful orgasm. Not as good as I expected
I was personally expecting great things from this product and it just didn't live up to my expectations. The wand feels very well built and the head is covered in a soft silicone material that I liked the feel of but it just wasnt as powerful as I expected. Good wand though has a few issues
Firstly this wand is not as powerful as the lovehoney Classic deluxe wand though I have still had many pleasurable times with it. The build quality is good though after a few weeks of using this quite thoroughly it died and never worked again. Best vibrator wand out there
Ok, let me just say that this is by far one of the best vibrator wands on the market. I own 3 Doxy wands as I am a model and use them in videos as well. The choice of colors is fun. So from reading these reviews I was very eager to test this toy. Didn't think my previous Roy was cutting it any more and people said it's worth the money. So...purchase made. Have purchased the Original Doxy after having many issues with the newer Number 3, so far works great, has that classic Doxy power as expected and hopefully will last..Have seen lots say its heavy... maybe the diecast would be but this one is really not that weighty, slightly large to hold compared to the number 3 but if its more reliable than I cant complain, i've seen people say its loud, again it's really not at all that loud at all, doesnt look as nice as the number 3, but hey it works and the softer head is nice too.size is its downfall its pretty damn big so unless youve got a spot for it good luck hiding it..

Don’t really know what the fuss is about
Having been the owner of 3 previous wands, I was looking to be wowed. But I did find that being on my knees slightly bent over works and I can cum in about 15mins from that. I definitely need lube when using it without any barriers too. Tbh, I enjoy my orgasms a lot more with my other toys. I have a slow build up with my favourite vibe that allows me to feel my muscles begin to tighten slowly before peaking whereas the orgasms from this wand come out of nowhere and usually makes my clit super sensitive as I’m pushed over the edge meaning I have to move the head of the wand away, sometimes resulting in ruining my orgasm (definitely not a kink of mine lmao). When the motor went funny in my cheaper wand after a few years (the noises became quite off putting and we were sure it changed speed at will) I decided to splash out on what was considered the most powerful wand on the market. Doxy Review
The Doxy turned out to be as good as the reviews we had read on it. The vibrations are closer together and faster which makes it "smoother" than the magic wand. The large head covers more area and being softer it is more effective. The handle is smaller, more comfortable and we think it is quieter. I am a bit of a vibrator speed junkie and went to the higher speeds fairly soon.I orgasmed many times and my husband easily felt the vibrations as well when he was in me. This wand is the king of all wands. I've tried many different brands of wands, but this one is the best by far. I can orgasm in seconds if I want to with this baby. A bit of a meh product - a miss for me
hey all - just wanted to drop a little feedback about this vibrating wand. I have quite a few wands, and I was keenly awaiting the delivery. Product arrived within 24 hours of ordering it. I think I placed the order at midday, and I received it the next evening! Very impressive warehousing and dispatch - cant say that much about auspost tho! But i digress... On to the doxy... While it may work wonders for lots of people, I personally feel it kinda lacks the oomph, when compared side to side with the likes of other japanese wands like the hitachi or thrive massager. The doxy is, without a doubt a much more powerful wand. However, to me, feels unnecessarily powerful - I personally, i only use it on the lowest setting, and one step up, is already too much. It goes from pleasure to a numbing buzz which is more irritating than pleasurable... When comparing the "pleasure" level of vibration, I would say the doxy lacks a bit of the grunt, not in speed of vibration, but the depth of it. After quite a few uses, i found the doxy's vibration to be based on the surface, instead of zoning in right to the core. Perhaps it may be because of the cushioned cover? Maybe its too soft? Brought this item for my wife as a spare wand for her. It arriveddiscreetly packaged. Upon opening it was well packed. The head is far softer the the Lovehoney wand and I thinkthis helps make higher power settings more comfortable to use. I purchased this in tandem with the hummer attachment and my dear lord wow. He's not heavy, he's my Doxy...
I struggle to orgasm so getting myself a much lauded wand seemed like a good move. The operation of it is fairly self explanatory with three buttons, power button to start and the plus and minus buttons to vary the intensity of the vibrations. There's also a sort of wave setting which you find by holding down the power button. Even for me, as a person who generally doesn't bother with patterns there's a good few there that are spot on and will certainly be getting used. The head is large and smooth and has a cushion like feel to it even though it doesn't look like it in the picture and feels wonderful on the skin. It also gets rather warm when in use and I enjoyed that too. As with all my toys when I first get them I switched it on and gave it a trial run through the different settings and power levels....Oh my god this is loud! Powerful Beyond Expectations
I'll start by saying that I've always enjoyed very powerful bullet style vibrators but have sometimes had issues reaching orgasm even on the highest setting. This is defiantly a toy made for use when you're home alone. I tried it out for the first time the next morning and after 5 minutes of use on the lowest 3 settings, I was numb and sore. My wrist hurt, my vulva hurt and the skin on my inner things was bright red.I swore off using it for the next month. I have tried again since then and have had more luck using it through clothing rather then directly on skin. I always seem to have trouble finding and clicking the right button during use, with out stopping to look. While it is great that you never have to charge it (and I will say the cord is awesome and super long), I personally wouldn't be using it for a super long time. I might consider trying it out with my partner for a bit of fun but I think I'll stick to a more focused vibration.

This has got to be the BEST toy in our (very extensive) collection..! We have had wands in the past, some more expensive than others but this without a shadow of a doubt overrules them all! I loved this product, I received this as a gift from my fiance and it is definitely the best I've ever tried! I have used a few vibrators similar to this and this is by far my favourite one! It's alright, I guess
I have the love honey power wand, but thought a wand with a more powerful deeper vibration would be better.... It's not... Deeper, yes. But numbs any area so quickly. Needs to be... Thumpier? Is that a word? The wire rattles against the wand handle. Turns off allll the time. Could hear from Mars on the highest setting, which is basically useless cause its so high it does nothing. It's good... But not for the price.
Nothing compares to a Doxy
This Doxy wand is quite simply incredible. As soon as you lay eyes on this wand, it is clear that this is a different breed of sex toy. Great for Nights in
After having a USB rechargeable wand, I thought i'd try a mains powered one. On arrival, I turned it on to see how powerful it was, and boy was it just! This wand can get me to climax within minutes, and i haven't even attempted the highest setting yet. The head is very comfortable against the skin, and is good to use all over your body to start the tingling. Has also come out in couples play and was great for teasing me during foreplay and intercourse. Vibrations didn't only see myself over the finish line but also ensured he had pleasure from it also. Took me a little while but I got there
As the title says, it took me a couple of goes to get the hang with it - plenty of lube is a really good tip - I didn't use enough to begin with and pinched myself - not a good start. Good Vibrations
I own a twincharger which is a high tech and high end male vibrator, so I’ve been somewhat spoilt with good vibrations over the years... but thought it might be fun to try something different, so I thought I’d try the Doxy. I wasn’t expecting it to be a fantastic performer, but I was pleasantly surprised. It has a good range of vibration levels which start fairly low, although I would have liked it lower and it goes up quite high. Easy to use and gets you off in no time. I had a cheaper version of one of these a few years ago, but I found the Doxy a much better performer. Recommended.
Pricey with mediocre results
Arrived in discreet packaging as always. Was way bigger than I thought it would be and was a bit heavy to hold. Quite noisy when turned all the way up too. Medium speed was a delicious deep rumbly vibration. High was ok but didn't feel like it could pinpoint pleasure instead just made the whole area a bit numb. Left my clitoris tingling for ages after. Also I kept pressing the power button by accident to change speed as it's located where most + buttons would be. I feel a bit disappointed as it was a pricey toy. I’ve bought this after my well-loved Lovehoney Wand broke, as I heard this can give you even deeper rumbling sensations. When the package arrived, I had to make up some excuses for my housemates, as it came in a ridiculously long box. The wand itself is quite long, but it was posted in a box that was at least twice the wand’s length. Other than that, it was discreet as always. The design of the wand is better and worse than the Lovehoney one’s at the same time. The head is brilliant, a bit squishy, so you don’t fear for your life when it gets close to your pubic bone. :D It also doesn’t have those annoying ridges Lovehoney seems to prefer, which makes cleaning it a lot less painful. Of of my problems with this toy is the buttons. I’m actually thinking of putting a plaster next to the + button, so I can actually find it when it matters. The wand is not only long but quite heavy as well, and finding the right button on it is near impossible. More than once I was completely thrown out of the moment by the sheer frustration that fiddly little sh-... excuse me, BUTTON, caused me. For one it’s too far down the handle, you have to seriously lean forward to find it in most positions. Also, it’s nestled right between the off and - buttons. You never want to experience how it feels when you push the wrong one. Also, the wand easily turns around in your hand, so good luck finding which side your little + is hiding on. My other problem with the wand is the speeds. It just has Too Low, Low, Okay But Need More, WHAT THE ITSTOOMUCHSTOP, which is not very pleasant. I miss the Lovehoney control, which was not only easy to find, but gave you the exact speed you wanted. That being said, I do love how strong this wand is. You can use it through clothes, which makes things a bit more clean. All in all, while it’s not a bad toy, I definitely prefer the Lovehoney wand over this one.
Maybe not for everyone?
I wanted to love the doxy, I had it in my Wishlist for over a year. Finally splashing out I received the doxy. Ok so first thing, it's big, like bigger than a microphone you sing into, and heavy. We know this, we've read the reviews and seen the photos. For me though I thought that the good vibes would be worth the size after all the good feedback.... But... The doxy I received was faulty, The motor didn't work properly. Love honey is amazing and replaced it which was great, even though I was dying to try it out properly. Got replacement and yes it's a good vibe but apart from the lowest setting I find it just too powerful, so being limited to one mode on a $199 vibe just doesn't cut it for me, it's way too big and the cord I find a bit annoying. And not waterproof. Good points- the vibes are all encompassing and are amazing though even for an experienced vibe loving vulva I can't imagine using the high settings.
Big is beautiful
We bought the Doxy vibrator in August, but due to our summer holidays we have only recently got to use it properly. The Doxy vibrator is bigger and heavier than the Lovehoney Wand - that we have been using for several years, but as my other half refuses to go solo, this hasn't created a problem. My go-to toy every time
After having only a cheap rechargeable wand that broke, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Doxy vibrator. I usually use it on the second lowest setting, and it manages to get me off in minutes every time without fail. I have seen people saying you need lube when using this, I usually don't need to but I'd imagine if you are using the higher settings you will need to as it can get very powerful. This is definitely the best purchase I have made, to the point I use it near daily and usually multiple times a day. My partner has even nicknamed it 'Roxy'!

Most powerful vibrator I've found - wand tip was stuffed with trash though
I have had issues with orgasms due to a nerve damage related disease i have and i found this to be the only vibrator that could reliably get me there. i found it worked best over clothes otherwise it could be a bit bruising. I ultimately had to send it back as it had a very lumpy head that i dismantle and found balled up duct tape and a random chunk of odd shaped foam. its a real shame that the head is not cast foam in the perfect shape as this would last far longer.

It is what it says on the box
Ok so first of all the 'massage' part of the title. I am not a typical girl. Massages on a whole just hurt. But this baby nearly sends me to sleep. Disappointing
I don't know if if it's because I have now started menopause, but my other OH is very open to experimenting, more so if it get's me off. I have always wanted a wand, and after reading the reviews about it being better than the Hitachi, we decided to give this beast a go. It was used just the once. Having to plug it into power, was too much of a hassle. My OH used it on me, he got tired of holding it, it was handed over to me and I got tired of holding it. It's weight is astronomical.

I would prefer there to be a few more settings to play with (although you certainly won't be disappointed by those on offer), or 'wheel' to gradually increase/decrease the power and thus have more control over it, but ultimately I cannot recommend this product highly enough! Do not be put off by the price, It is so far above and beyond your standard wand that you certainly will not regret the extra outlay!
Holy moly
This toy is insane. I'm a power lover and have previously had a body wand so I wanted to step it up, and boy o boy dose this one take stepping it up to another level. Why didn't I get this sooner?
I have owned this vibrator for a couple of months and I can say that I have used it a couple of times, with and without my partners. And I will say that I do my very best to give my honest review on all the products that I try out. So lets start with the packaging. It came in a discreet cardboard box from Lovehoney and inside it was this Doxy box with the Doxy inside it. It surprised me how light it was. I thought it would be heavier but it was a pleasant surprise. Inside the box there was this lovely machine and a cable that needed to be plugged in. I couldn't wait to get started the first time I used it and it was the quickest way to orgasm I‘ve ever had. Next: the vibrations. The head is big so you don‘t have to move it unless you want to have some extra stimulation. At the first level you get like a deep powerful vibration through all of your body and as you increase the speed the vibration get shallower and shallower and more quicker. I just had to touch my clit with the head and I instantly began to scream out of pleasure. And my Master only had to touch my clit with it while penetrating me and I instantly came when he gave me permission to do so. I would recommend PLENTY of lube though! I tried it once with no lube, not even my spit and it was painful! And I was sure down there for days after. I‘ve also tried it with just my spit and it didn‘t hurt as much but it hurt a lot. A little lube is ok but if you want to get the most out of it, plenty of lube is a life saver, or should I say.... a clit saver? The bad things. There are a few bad things about it but nothing to serious. First of all the head is cushioned meaning the vibrations, which are deep and rubblily, don't sting and you can be firm with the wand on any part of the body you wish to use it. I've only ever use the first 3 power levels - this wand is definitely more powerful, the one thing LH's wand has over the Doxy is the scroll wheel and a more smooth increase in speeds, I sometimes wish there was a level between 1 and 2. Considering how powerful it is, it is not that loud, I have some rabbits that produce more noise. If someone had their ear pressed to the door you could get away with it being mistaken for a fan or similar. There are some hidden patterns, a pulse and a wave. If you hold the power button while the wand is switched off it will start the patten and then you can select with the plus minus buttons. These are very powerful and I don't use them but are a nice addition. The Doxy does get quite hot when used for extended periods of time and has an automatic shut off when used for around 20 minutes; you are able to immediately turn it back on however, the handle gets very warm, a little uncomfortably so. Having owned my Doxy for about a year the silver plastic ring has come loose and falls down in use. I'm not sure if that's from the heat melting the glue or general wear and tear Overall this is my go to wand and will always drag an orgasm out of me when I am struggling. The best toy I've ever bought

My most used toy
It is fair to say that i am addicted to this toy. My partner bought this for me as a valentines gift and think it is far better than chocolate would have been :) It has many different settings for speed depending on what mood you are in. A real game changer
The Doxy will change your (sex) life! I have been using it for about a year and it's unlike anything I had experienced before. I LOVE a big rumbly vibrator that covers my clit and vulva, and this does that with ease. A little disappointed
After my Lelo wand stopped working I decided to try a Doxy as it seemed it would be more powerful yet still a high-end sex toy. However, it left me a little disappointed. The product itself is very large (bigger than my forearm) and quite heavy which is nice that it definitely is not flimsy but this is what made it difficult to use for me personally. Trying to use this meant it really hurt my arm and because of the size I have to hold it at a certain angle which made it more difficult and when the mains powered plug comes into play this just made it more difficult to not get tangled up. Too noisy

Wow, what can I say?

What an amazing experience! Excellent Investment

Exceeded expectations - outstanding

Brilliant device
This was our first ever experience with a wand. Nicely packed in a sturdy cardboard box. Easy plug and play! Comfortable to hold and operate the large buttons although once you actually use it (even more at night) you need to find the right button to push to change your settings. Sometimes you will accidentally change the speed or turn it off. Some experience is required to get used to it. The button cavities will also get dirty after some use. From this perspective I find the Lovehoney wand operating knob far more suitable although that one doesn't have a nice cushioned head. The cushioned head makes this wand really amazing and you can use it for all massaging purposes - the real reason the wand was invented decades ago ;) My gf loved the wand head alone against her clit and she nearly came but we had heaps of attachments to test so we moved on. The best thing we have ever bought

Great, until it degrades
I've had this toy for just over a year if I remember well. I dislike the head is made of PVC and sometimes use a condom over it (also covering the neck up to the control buttons) but don't always do as in the end, that starts costing a lot of money. The toy is basically impossible to clean well. I've been rinsing the head of with warm water after use, and noticed that water had leaked in underneath the PVC head and apparently it never completely drips out (even when leaving it to dry at an angle). Yesterday I noticed 'foamy'/gross water coming out when it was switched on and I had already noticed earlier that the head no longer felt solid but 'mushy' underneath, for lack of a better word. I removed the grey head cover and found the foam bit underneath was soaked and had started to degrade and the tape wrapped around I guess what is the mechanical part, was wet and had partially come loose. I can no longer use this toy and will not be buying one like this again. Something that costs nearly £90 should not become unusable this quickly (on average I use it maybe once every 7-10 days).
Brilliant and A little scary at first
Apprehensively ordered a Doxy magic wand after hearing great things about them, Initially frightening just due to the size of it and the fact it plugs in the wall! That is a very good thing though, no more batteries!! The wife initially was a little frightened by it but that didn't last long, within a few minutes she said it was very intense and had a few orgasms within 5 minutes, you must use lube with this toy as it can cause friction burns if your not carefull, yes its that powerful :-) Will be ordering some attachments, highly recommended. The only wand a magical girl needs
This wand certainly doesn't need another review talking about how great it is, but I'm going to write one anyways because I'm so in love with it. What initially put me off was that a lot of people were saying that it's quite a loud toy, however I've found that it's actually surprisingly quiet. I like to know exactly how many speeds I have available and I found no mention of it (I think I count five). It also doesn't appear to mention that the wand doesn't start on the lowest speed when turned on, but on the middle speed instead. The instructions do detail the rising intensity mode which is activated by holding down the power button for about two seconds. It's nice to have as an option and to my knowledge unique to the doxy. It's quite sizeable and has some weight to it, but it will generally be resting on you during use so it's barely noticeable. The length allows for quite comfortable use as hands don't have to reach far down or be held in awkward positions. It can get in the way during sex, but it's not impossible to work around. Conclusion: new favourite toy. That's all.
Best Purchase Ever

Wow best thing we ever bought

This wand is a revelation

My SO and i Recently purchased this and she adores this toy.... I do too. It's not cheap though, so do you get what you pay for? The packaging it came in certainly suggested so; all very minimalist in design. The head is made of a medical grade, non-porous PVC, and it's the soft cushioned feel that really attracted me to the Doxy. In use then...you get 7 speeds ranging from 3000 to 9000rpm. The vibrations are so deep they literally bore right through you. On the lowest setting I can stroke the Doxy up and down the shaft of my cock and feel the vibrations in my mid-thigh! There is an option for a pulsing pattern but to be honest the steady and unrelenting power of the wand works best for me. The wand market is still very much female dominated, but with attachments such as the Hummer being available for men. Powerful but big
Love the wand, plugs in to a power point and is powerful - more so than the battery powered ones I've had. However it is physically quite big so I need to hold it on an angle in order to use it during doggy, and it can get a bit heavy after a bit of a session. Best to use when you're lying on your back so that the space is unrestricted. Good Vibrations
I'm a fan of strong vibrators, when my last vibe died I decided it was time to upgrade to a wand style, since I'd always heard that they were stronger, better, faster, harder, you've probably heard the rep. It arrived neatly boxed up, and I was surprised by how big it was, I'm not sure what I expected but this thing is quite hefty, though without being heavy or unwieldy. The pattern is very simple, which is good for me since I don't really like pattern vibrations much, but if you're looking for variety of sensations then this might not be the thing for you -- this one's all about the POWER. Now I said up top that I like strong vibrations, and this one delivers, usually I find myself getting to the strongest setting of a vibe and having a 'is that IT?' moment, not with this one. In fact many times I've come to a tooth-rattling climax and only afterwards realised that I hadn't even gotten to the highest setting. The one thing that I think I would want with this is some kind of textured head or knob, if the vibrations are that intense with such a diffuse surface area, they must be unbelievable when focused to a smaller area -- probably attachments will be the next thing I start looking into for this.

You won't regret spending the extra dollars
I ordered the Doxy wand after we burned out the motors on two cheaper (and smaller) wands. I was a little worried about spending this much money on a toy but it was worth every penny. It's been going strong for over a year (with lots of use) with no issues, and no need to replace any batteries. When you switch on the wand it starts at a medium intensity which is too much for my wife but we switch it down to it's lowest (before then build up) and it's great. The vibrations are deep and strong and once you crank it up to full speed it you might just take off. I don't think we have ever gone full speed yet. It's also remarkably quiet considering the power of the vibrations. This lives at the top of our toy box and gets plenty of use. Big and Broadly Satisfying
Me and my husband were looking for a wired wand having had our last model, a palmpower, start making a distracting sound. We wanted to shop lovehoney because of the generally great service we get, and this was one of the wired wands that was available. I live in Sweden and have for a long time been lusting over the Doxy. Previously, Lovehoney only sold the Doxy with a UK-plug which is not compatible with my sockets at home since I have EU-plug sockets. Imagine how thrilled I was when I found out Lovehoney was going to stock the Doxy with an EU-plug and that I was getting the opportunity to test and review it for them. First of all, the Doxy arrives in elegant packaging. The packaging contains a simplistic yet beautiful outer slip that is black and has the Doxy logo on it and a picture of the Doxy Massager in almost lifelike size. Underneath, there is a white cardboard box with the Doxy logo on top which contains the Doxy and an instruction leaflet. I think the packaging is stylish in its simplicity and the black colour adds to the drama. It would definately make a perfect gift just as it is. The cardboard box could be used to store the Doxy. Personally I found it to be a bit difficult to close, therefore I store the Doxy without its outer packaging. If you want to keep your massager hidden from snoopy eyes, storing the Doxy in the cardboard box might be worth that extra hassle. The Doxy has a cable that is 2.8 meter and an EU-plug. For you to be able to use it, you must of couse have EU-sockets (or an adapter) and a socket resonably close to where you would like to use the Doxy. I found the long cable to be very useful since I can use it almost anywhere in my appartment. Such a long cable is a great feature since most people are gonna be able to use the Doxy almost wherever they would like. The handle is made out of black ABS plastic. The shape of it fits my hand perfectly and gives me a good grip when in use. The large buttons are made out of silicone and the different symbols on them are easy to feel with my fingertips. This is a feature that would be great for someone with a visual impairment who may have a hard time operating toys with smaller and less pronounced buttons. The Doxy's head is made from aluminium and features a soft covering made out of hypoallergenic medical grade non porous PVC. This is a great feature since it will not make your massager a breeding ground for bacteria. The massager is easy to operate. Simply press the power button to turn it on or off. Pressing or holding the plus or minus buttons help you increase or decrease the vibrations. There is also a pulse setting available that you activate by pressing down the power button for a couple of seconds. You can increase or decrease the pulsating speed by pressing the plus and minus buttons, respectively. I have never owned a mains powered wand vibrator before. Therefore I did not know what type of power to expect from the Doxy, especially since it claims to be 30% more poweful than the famous Hitachi Magic Wand. The Doxy starts at mid speed (but I have noticed that if I turn it off and then quickly turn it on again, it will start at the speed I was previously using). The mid speed packs some serious punch. It is actually so powerful that I managed to orgams within just a few seconds. The highest speed is seriously powerful, it is impossible for me not to orgasm multiple times using it. It is by far the most powerful vibrator I have ever tried in my life and I own quite a bit of luxury vibrators. The first time I tried the wand I was in shock after using it, I never thought a vibrator could be this powerful. A problem I have previously had with other vibrators are that they are too buzzy for me. The vibrations of the Doxy are incredibly rumbly and powerful and makes it very easy to reach climax. I have noticed that the lowest setting (it feels like a crime to call this low, beacuase it is definately not) is the most rumbly and as I increase the speed it gets less rumbly (but it is still amazing at the highest setting). I have tried using this product both with and without water based lube. I must say that using the Doxy with lube highten the experience tremendously. The Doxy Wand Massager comes in a sleek well designed box. When my boyfriend gave it to me I thought it was some a set of hair straiteners. It's nice to get a sex toy that's not plastered with cheesy half naked women on the box. On removing the massager I can honestly say it's a little heavy. The head is huge! I have a white version the design is sleek and attractive. Much nicer than the standard pinks and purples. It looks like a professional tool a physio might use and I don't think many people would look twice if you accidentally leave it out. I think you could easily convince them it's for medical reasons and not a sex toy. I have used battery powered wands before and have always been sceptical of mains powered ones but the lead on this is long and allows me to get comfortable. Am I missing something?
Having owned the mini magic wand made by love honey themselves and loved it I decided I wanted to move on to bigger and better things. I read all the reviews and chose the doxy based on everyone's love for it. This being power operated compared to the mini battery operated one I already own. I thought this would blow it away. I was expecting great things. Unfortunately this wasn't the case. I found the vibrations weak and it left me unsatisfied and disappointed to say the least. No big O for me. With such great reviews from everyone else I'm wondering if mine is faulty?
Good but loud
Both me and my girlfriend enjoy using this. It has many different attachments for pleasuring either one of us. It is extremely powerful and can bring her to orgasm very quickly. The only downside is the noise. It is very loud and our walls are quite thin as we live in a newly built house. If I was being really picky, I would say the lead could be a little longer too.
Great Wand
This is a great product, and a great step up from the love honey deluxe magic wand (which is also fantastic, but we wanted more power). The controls are simple with the on/off button also switching it on to cycle up the power settings when held for a short time. and 2 power adjustment / cycle time buttons below. one small complaint with this wand is that it can be difficult to differentiate between these buttons in the heat of the moment, leading to occasionally accidentally switching the wand off when trying to increase the power, though this is a minor issue as the sheer power of this wand will get you back to where you were in no time. Another possible complaint is that it can be a bit loud, but it's a mains powered vibrator, so what do you expect All in all this is a great product, and well worth the money if you find other wands lacking

It's not the wand so much as the build quality. Overall, this was the best toy I have ever had, until the head snapped at the rubber neck. Twice. Three of them had to be returned. In 6 months. Thank God for Lovehoney's excellent return policy. It’s with real reluctance that I don’t give this full stars, as the product itself is amazing and I love it to bits, but the build quality of the neck leaves a lot to be desired. I even purchased the Die Cast as it appears to have a metal 'neck' in the photos and I thought it would stand up to time a bit better, but unfortunately the 'neck' is thin rubber just like the normal Doxy wand and would inevitably snap again after a few months. I also had problems with overheating and turning itself off at very annoying times, and another of them made a terrible rattling sound like something inside was loose. What I will say for Doxy’s in general, is despite the three broken models in 6 months that it really is an amazing toy, and if you’re willing to sacrifice it for a week or two when you have to send it back for a replacement, then it's well worth a purchase. Just be aware that Lovehoney's warranty is only a year so you need to decide if the price is fair for a year’s usage for your budget. I realise not everyone can afford to replace toys, but for me it's a no brainer. If this broke out of its warranty, I would have one ordered for next day delivery the second it happened. Despite my problems with the Doxy, I am going to persevere with them, as nothing else compares to it. I have reviewed the Lovehoney Deluxe wands and done a side by side comparison. The Real Deal

I'm always a tiny bit sceptical when buying things that aren't Lovehoneys own brand, as I have come to trust Lovehoney's quality so much, but I knew that with Lovehoneys excellent customer service if I didn't like the look of it I could send it back, but the Doxy wand didn't disappoint me, at all. The Doxy wand comes in a beautifully presented box with a very modern design scheme. The wand itself is very securely packaged inside the box and it includes a very long cable. I can plug it in at the foot of my king-size bed and still have plenty of cable to use. The wand itself upon first inspections was incredibly well made, as you would hope for that price, and very large. It had a medium weight to it, which can cause a little bit of a hand ache after a while, but rather than look at that as a bad thing, I think that surely a good thing to be giving your hands a work out? The buttons are well designed in placement and I don't often accidently press them during use. They are large, and super soft silicone. The wand body is so long, that I often find myself using two hands, but it is easily operated with one hand too. I find two hands gives more precision, one hand for movement, the other for pressure. For storage I find the only place I can fit it is beside the bedside cabinet. It's very big, so unless you have some very big drawers next to your bed, don't expect it to fit in them. I leave mine permanently plugged in, and that says a lot about how much I love my Doxy. The head of the wand is some sort of silicone or rubber type material, it's not what you would expect for rubber, it's not super anti slip, but I don't know how else to describe it. It's super soft, and padded. The wand head has a tiny bit of flex, so it will move a tiny bit as you use it, which helps for angles. Before I go into anything else, it's worth mentioning that its very noisy on the top speeds, and still fairly noisy on medium. Low is more quiet, but if you are power hungry, you will never manage to keep it on low. This is not one for when people are in the house or awake. Even if you have to wait for a quiet house to use this, trust me, it's well worth the wait. Upon first turning it on, you are put onto the medium vibrations. They are perfect for me, I rarely have to turn it up. The lower settings are a deep, powerful rumble. They are not 'buzzy' but more rumbly. They are delicious. The higher settings get very 'buzzy' and are also delicious. It's all delicious. Like I said, medium seems to work best for me. Even now, I prefer the medium setting that it automatically puts you on when you turn it on. I find it most comfortable to use this over thin clothes. They need to be close fitting though, so pants or PJ's are ideal. The reason for this is that without clothes, it's super intense, even on medium, but being a power queen I refuse to use the lower settings! I have used it many times without clothes, and the only problem there I will mention is that if you are very wet, or have used lube, it can make a rather funny noise as the head vibrates against your wetness and skin. This is not something that I imagine is unique to the Doxy, I think all powerful wand's with large heads would do this to, and it certainly doesn't put my man off during sessions with it. This really does give me super intense orgasms, most of the time once I have got into my orgasm, I have to take the wand away from my clit for a second or two before I put it back because it gets so intense that I cant bear it to be there. I consistently get multiple orgasms from this, even just before or after my monthly cycle when my sex drive is low. Words fail me
I purchased this as I already have a wand but wanted something a bit more powerful....and boy, this didnt disappoint ! I chose the purple option....purely because I dont have any toys which are purple. It comes in a,very stylish white box which is inserted into a cardboard sleeve. This is the most expensive toy I've ever bought and worth every single penny. The vibrations are powerful and intense and because the head is so large they cover the whole area rather than just being focused on one point. The lowest setting creates a lovely build up whereas the highest has me climbing the walls in seconds! Well, where to begin? My wife is, shall we say, a power queen among power queens. Prior to the Doxy she was using, I-kid-you-not, a full-sized back massager that is closer to a power-sander than it is a massager. Yeah, that powerful (we called it The Jackhammer). Speaking for her, I'm guessing she'd rate it 6 stars out 5 in terms of performance and pleasure! She LOVES this thing. She isn't classically multi-orgasmic (starts over each time) yet she recently churned out 9 orgasms in 3 hours. Wow! Well, there is a downside it would seem: durability. First, there are undoubtedly the heat issues mentioned elsewhere. Never became a factor (we think), but definitely present. Using it on max vibe for over an hour a day might do that. Worse, after about only a month (granted it got used about 45 hours in that month)...the rubber housing on the neck cracked. The metal core of the neck appears still intact, but the rubber is now torn. In fairness, she not only uses max vibe, but also presses incredibly hard (she's strong) against her bulletproof clit with the head--the side torque is considerable. Still, all things considered, we expected something more rugged--a month is only a month. Delightful Doxy
I must admit that wand massagers are not my most favourite for clitoral massage. However the Doxy has made me think again! Our UK Hitachi
I would like to say this is better than the Hitachi but i am not sure i can. After a month of not over excessive use the head bent. Which after having a Hitachi for over 2 years i was quite surprised about. I did not have a problem getting a replacement though which was good. The wand is actually rather heavy and the buttons are hard to find half way through a play session. You end up spending 30 secs looking for the up or down button. And yes half the time i turn it off. At least with the Hitachi you could use the roller speed with no issues. I do not think it is that noisy. No different to the Hitachi. You can't expect it to quiet with all those revs. Overall I am not quite sure that it is more powerful than the Hitachi in my personal opinion but then i may over use :) I do like it but i think maybe next time I would purchase an Hitachi for a much cheaper price than this. Magic Orgasm Machine

Super Powerful and Perfect

The vibrations, when I cupped my hand over the head, went all the way up my arm. These are deep, rumbly, shake-your-bones vibrations. Pinpoint buzzing is not on the table with this particular toy - your entire genital area's going to shake. The toy itself is very well made, and very attractive. If someone didn't know what a wand vibrator is, they might actually believe it's a back massager! The pink one is a bit conspicuous so I went for the professional black, and don't regret it as it looks very classy and clean. Sadly I didn't buy my Doxy Wand on Love Honey which is a shame as I didn't know about this website at the time. Good vibrations
OMG what a wand. I was bought this as a present and was impressed from the get go. once i unwrapped it and seen the box i was impressed in is really nicely packaged and you can tell its a good quality product. I was given the pink version which looks super cute. It has a really long cable which means your not stuck to having to use it right next to the plug socket and your able to move around without worrying. As for the vibrations wow it is powerful when you switch it on it goes straight to about half power and you can adjust it from there using the buttons. It ranges all the way from a gentle purr to too much for me to handle (i can only use it at about half power before it gets too much). Over one year on and it's still going

First Impressions: When I took delivery of the Doxy wand, I thought to myself “WHAT THE HELL HAVE I ORDERED?” as the box was HUGE. However, after opening the over-sized outer box, I was greeted with a much thinner (although still quite long) box for the Doxy. It comes packaged in a beautiful matt black slip with a sturdy white cardboard box underneath.It’s nothing overly stylish or special, but it’s nice enough and still has that air of luxury about it (which is why I think Black works so well with packaging – it always feels a little premium to me). Inside, the Doxy is wrapped in a clear plastic bag along with an instruction leaflet. This is a mains-powered wand, and this version comes with a cable that stretches to about 3m which is more than enough for us (as we are lucky enough to have plug sockets down the side of the bed) – but if you don’t, that extra length cable should certainly make it easier to reach. The Wand is made from ABS Plastic in the handle, the buttons are made from Silicone. The head of the massager is made from Aluminium and coated with soft, spongy medical grade PVC. It is completely body-safe. The Doxy has buttons, rather than a scroll wheel to operate, and also features a ‘secret’ mode (more on that later). How To Use: As I mentioned earlier, Wands are great toys for couples, and they are incredibly versatile and multi-purpose. Be careful to only use a slightly damp cloth to clean the rest of the unit – this is obviously a mains-powered toy, and should not be submerged or go anywhere near water. I store my Doxy in it’s box to help keep it nice, clean and safe. Summary: Well I think i’ve said it all, really. If you are looking for a really good, powerful massager that’s suitable for everyone, you cannot go wrong with the Doxy. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s also not the most expensive, and it really does give you a lot of bang for your buck. I do, however, feel obliged to express a word of warning – the effortless orgasms the Doxy can produce are almost addictive. I did find that at one point, I had almost made myself numb to the vibrations because I went for it a bit too often – like most things in life, it’s best in moderation.

I wanted to love it, and yet-
It's had glowing reviews from pretty much everyone who's got one - and yet... I want my Lovehoney Magic Wand Deluxe. Okay, specifics first. The Doxy is mains-powered, which means more oomph and no cutting out at the wrong moment (unless you're me - more later). The cable is almost 3m long which allows not only for plenty of writhing on or off the bed/chair/floor but less chance of a phone or tablet on charge getting in on the action as the cables inevitably tangle. From tip to tail it measures 13 inches, or 33cm long. That's longer than your school ruler (I still have one). It's BIG. The head is cast aluminium and covered with a slightly squishy layer of medical grade PVC, which means no phthalates or latex - but it's not completely sterilisable (is that a word?). It's controlled by three buttons. With the head up, the top button is on/off. Next button ramps up the power. The bottom button revs down. At switch-on, the wand is a couple or three settings above minimum. There are apparently 10 power settings, but I've not got much beyond the fourth or fifth before having to hold back. Everyone else seems to love the controls. Call me contrary, but they're my first gripe. Okay, so my thumb was seriously bandaged at the time after a bit of a run-in with a wall, meaning that even Big Friendly Buttons were awkward for me to manipulate. And when it comes to wands, I'm used to the Lovehoney's dial control, which gives continuous and idiot-simple direction: a light flick of the thumb - even a well-bandaged one - is all I need to amp up or rev down the power however much I wish. With the Doxy I've flipped from "not enough" to "too much!" with no in between. And then, because I'm a creature of habit and used to different three-button arrangements: I wanted more, felt for the + button - and switched it off. It's a touch faffy - switch the wand off, then back on by holding the button for a couple of seconds - but once it's rolling, you can vary the speed of the pulses using the +/- buttons. Controls aside, I made a mental pro/con list comparing it with the Lovehoney Magic Wand - and the Doxy came out on top: -I prefer the length of the cable, if not the cable itself, which feels a little flimsy for something so big and powerful. -I prefer the head (mostly). It's firmer. The vibrations are better, less jarring, more rumbly. The (PVC) covering feels velvety and has more give than the Lovehoney head, and being ridge-free it doesn't catch or nip on anything whatever angle it's being held at. -The head, again, feels more firmly attached to the neck and body of the wand - it's less flexible, but the size of the head makes up for that. -It's ultra quiet. For something this size and strength, that's a major selling point. Admittedly the Lovehoney's got a bit noisier through repeated use, but it was never this kitten-purr quiet. -It's more powerful. Why, then, the nagging longing for my Lovehoney Magic Wand Deluxe? After a couple of uses, I realised the size of the Doxy's head is a downer for me; it's just too big to use effectively with my G-spot dildos. There's a bit of clash between them and the Lovehoney, but that's where the Lovehoney's flex comes in useful. And I don't know how to explain this with a toy that doesn't pinch or is the wrong shape for my anatomy, but the orgasms I have from the Doxy feel kind of bullied out of me. I'm a giggler, but after the initial rush and release my main feeling is one of relief. From the minute you hold it you can tell this is a high quality product that will last a long time, It is easy to use and has a very long cable which is great and if you hold down the on button the pulse setting makes me orgasm in seconds. You may think "£89.99 for a vibrator" but honestly this will make you orgasm multiple times in minutes and I have only ever got to level 3 of 6 speed settings (I am working on it). Fantastic
This is the most powerful wand I have ever used on someone else and that has ever been used on me. The combination of the number of different speeds along with the pulse setting was stunning. And it is incredibly quiet which is absolutely amazing. I personally can take quite a high setting and this took it to the next level compared to other wands but you do really have to build up it. When the orgasms came they just rolled on and on and on. Using it on someone else I found I had to build up really slowly but then found I didn't get that high before she came - lovely :-) One thing I wasn't so sure about was that when it first switched on it didn't come at the low speed setting. In my (male) opinion this is a sound investment. I bought one to surprise my partner and do not regret it in the slightest (neither does she).
