My OH bought this for us and it arrived 2 days ago. I own the Doxy Original and so here’s my comparison:
WOWWWW! The lowest setting on the Doxy Die Cast it rumbley heaven. Far better than the original. The deep rumble and double weighted, heavier head massages deeper into the body whether that be body massage or intimate areas. The gradient setting also feels much better with the Die Cast and at the high end, makes me a bit shakey.
The constant high setting, which is now adjustable via LED lit buttons (much easier to find in the dark) is nothing short of magnificent. A little too intense to go straight in at that setting but WOW, it gets you there quickly.
The design is so much prettier than the original (the OH opted for the Purple model) and the snug box it comes in is super useful for storage.
I believe that the extra weight is a good thing, although a little tiring on the wrists depending on what position you are in and you can sometimes knock the buttons if you hold it closer to the head to counter balance the weight, but it’s worth getting used to.
The cable is super long so no need to panic over where to plug it in.

Broke after 13 months of light/normal use

Purple Haze
I've bought many toys over the years and not one of them has had the same impact as this does. Am I the only one disappointment with this toy? Just not very well built
While the feel of these is great, and we really like it, the build quality is awful.We have gone through three of these now (2 of these die cast and one of the original plastic ones), they seem to last about a year then they completely give up. On the original the motor died, on the first die-cast the head came off and on the second the metal ring at the top broke.Doxy's own warranty support is awful, they wanted £40 before they would even look at it to tell us if it would be valid to repair under warranty.We love it, but we won't be buying another.
The point of no return
Well what can I say..We have a draw with various amounts of toys and wands both corded and cordless and this by far is the best me and the partner will ever own. Extreme power
This toy is not for the faint of heart. I usually like things on the powerful side but the Doxy is the most powerful thing I've ever used. It's also very pretty and feels like it's been made well and will last a long time. The body is rather heavy and can be a bit difficult to wield after a while, but the regular doxy is less heavy so might work better if this is a concern. A toy box staple
I actually rarely use the doxy die cast wand by itself. It taught me that I hate broad stimulation, it feels itchy instead of good. But I can use it by grinding against the side of the head vertically, which is less broad. Where this wand shines for me is using attachments. It fits all the standard full size wand attachments and I love using it with the ones I have. I haven't found a more powerful pinpoint vibrator than this + an attachment. If you're using it and a silicone dildo it's large enough that you can press the head into your clit and the dildo at the same time. You can also use it as a good back massager on high. Strength : this wand on low is more powerful than a few of my smaller vibrators on high. On high, this wand is so strong I find it painful, and I am a power princess, always pushing and wishing my vibes would do a bit more. What I don't like is that it increases/decreases so quickly that I can't actually get a speed between speed 1 and 2, even if I go to max and try to increment down. Fantastic product plagued by quality issues
The first unit we were sent was faulty out of the box (no vibration at the head). In a league of its own
I've had this for over a year, recently found the receipt and couldn't believe I'd paid that much for it. It is the best toy I own. I like to use it in combination with another toy. Good, but not great

It’s no Hitachi Magic Wand
I’m sure if I’d have stumbled on this first I’d be happy but it was a replacement for my Hitachi Magic wand and it felt like a downgrade.Vibrations are fairly strong, not a massive fan of the supersmoothness of the head but that may appeal to others.Colours work well but no one is buying this for its colour scheme!

Seriously: you can get on with it for sex or not, but you will not regret using it for massage. Doxy die cast is an object of beauty. Something to enjoy watching and gliding your hands about. The cool body, the silicone head... Even the buttons and the storage box are gorgeous. But what it is mainly is a heavy duty tool. It's the most powerful vibrator I've ever had in my hands. I know this is no news, but I had to insist. It's operated with three buttons. When you press shortly the on-off one, Doxy starts vibrating at about 75% of it's power. If you press it longer, Doxy starts in a rampant mode. I find the buttons somehow fiddly and not always very responsive, but nothing really annoying.The power is incredible, but the head is so broad I don’t get the stimulation I need. I like pin point clitoral stimulation and Doxy shakes the whole vulva and even your pelvis and hip bones. Too much for me, even through clothing. But there’s a way of overcoming this and getting to enjoy it’s power: using wand attachments. The size of the head is standard so you can use regular wand attachments. I own two: he nuzzle tip and the flutter tip, which you can find in Lovehoney along g-spot attachments. Both provide different sensations and are great, and both help me enjoy the Doxy for masturbation as they concentrate the vibrations in a smaller zone. I find it too bulky for partnered sex. One Wand to Rule Them All
I have owned and adored a Doxy Original wand for over 4 years now and have very few bad words to say about it. However, over time it had become more noisy and a bit rickety as though its time was almost up. I wasn't looking to replace it but there was an incredible offer on at Lovehoney over Christmas which swayed me and I bought both the Die Cast and smaller Doxy 3 to spruce up my toy box. Both turned out to be superb investments. The Doxy Die Cast in purple is a wondrous sight to behold. Nestled in its super swanky padded storage case, it looks like the power tool you expect a wand to be but with a touch of elegance thanks to the shine of aluminium/titanium casing. The Die Cast is available in a few other colours on the Doxy website, but I would still have chosen the purple that Lovehoney stock anyway! The finish is beautiful, cold and smooth with a subtle glittery effect going on - I cannot rave enough about how much I love its looks. Taking it out of the case, I found this wand has a significant weight to it as you'd expect, much more than a regular Doxy by far. This could be an issue for some people, such as those with limited arm and wrist strength. For me this is no problem and almost adds to the appeal as it feels more luxurious than a standard plastic wand. Others might find the coldness of the metal off putting, whereas I personally love it. A lot of things about this toy are just a matter of taste. The Die Cast, as with the Original and Doxy 3, is operated via a very simple 3 button interface. Each of the large buttons has the +, - and power symbol indented in it for ease of operation and they also light up blue which is a new feature. The buttons do occasionally "stick" and require a firm press to adjust the setting. The vibrations from this wand are above all others I have felt - a very good thing! The head of the Die Cast is made of silicone, unlike the Original's which is coated in medical grade PVC. I much prefer this for hygiene reasons (silicone is my toy material of choice as it is non-porous) but the silicone head is also much firmer (the PVC head has a bit of squish to it). Some will prefer the squishy PVC but I think the firm silicone transmits the rumble of the vibrations much better. I also find the head of the Die Cast is weightier and I don't have to apply much pressure to feel the full force - I found I had to really grind hard into my Original Doxy to get the most out of it. One thing that really shocked me is how quiet this wand is. It is miles quieter than my Original Doxy, which on top of the standard roaring wand vibrations had developed quite a rattle in the plastic casing, probably from the amount of use it's had at high speeds. It is also quieter than the smaller Doxy 3 which you wouldn't necessarily expect. The Die Cast kind of hums away and doesn't distract me at all. However, I only really use the Die Cast on its bottom 2, sometimes 3 speeds so if you like super intense stimulation, your mileage may vary regarding sound levels! I will say (and this applies to all of the Doxy family) that I often find the power increments a bit harsh. Each setting is a dramatic increase in power which can be quite jarring. I would prefer more speeds with a gentler increase in power. Sometimes I find it so intense I have to use it through a layer of underwear (or pyjama trousers, haha). When using directly on my vulva, lube is an absolute necessity for comfort. The Doxy Die Cast is compatible with all the standard size attachments I own which is obviously brilliant - using silicone attachments on the silicone head is totally safe. Overall, this is the perfect wand for me. I adore its aesthetics, powerful vibrations and ease of use. One thing that may be off putting for some is the price tag. While I didn't pay anywhere near full price, I'll admit it's expensive - but I anticipate MANY years of use out of it given how long my Original has survived (and is still going!). I would probably save up for a full price replacement should the need ever arise (but hopefully not for a very long time!).
A Bedroom Essential
First of all, let me just say that this was well worth the £150 pounds spent to try this. My partner and I have already owned a wand previous, but it was nothing to the standard of this. The quality of the product is clear from the box and the feel of the wand itself - smooth and strong, well made. This clearly was built for longevity. The price is hefty, but if you are looking for a special gift or a reliable bedroom companion than this toy might be for you. The only potential downsides i can see is that it is not cheap. It’s definitely an investment piece, but it is well made. The only other thing that might make this product tricky is the sheer size. When this arrived in the post, me and my partner were stunned at its size. (we have since made our other wand a retired travel kit piece.) Although mighty, (it does not hold back any punches) the size and weight may make this hard to handle in long periods of use or for travel purposes. Not discreetly sized at all, but overall don’t see why anyone should go without owning or trying one of these bad boys. The package arrived in a discreet brown box as usual, on opening the box the Doxy was packaged in a white box, it doesn’t come with the zip case like some of the other variations of the product. On opening the box you could tell the wand is well made, it’s quite heavy but not overly so, the lead is plenty long enough for what most people would need it for. We have only generally used the Doxy on the two lowest settings but these have been the most pleasurable for both my wife and I. It’s definitely got a more rumblier vibration than any other toy we have used, this seems to be a good thing as my wife never fails to reach an orgasm with the Doxy Die Cast, generally in under two minutes. Heavy duty pleasure
This is my second Doxy wand, pleased to see that build quality is as good as ever. This one is heavier than my original wand and has a different vibration to it. I like the light up buttons, and the head seems larger on this model ( i noticed as i use ex large condoms on all my wands...helps keep clean up to a minimum). My last Doxy lasted three years, good value for money!, shame they dont do a button refurb service..... yes £149. Better than the Hitachi Wand
As a married couple, we have bought a fair few toys in search of the holy grail.... amongst the big names on the list are the Eroscillator, Sybian, Womanizer and any number of Rabbits. The expensive Die-cast Doxy wands are actually quite quiet (at least on lower settings) given their billing as one of the most powerful wands on the market. The only giveaway of course is that the sonorous bass of the thrumming may travel downwards. The lowest setting has a kick on it, but it's a low thrumming purr on par with less powerful wands, top quality here! It's quite a rumbly hum, rather than a persistent buzz, which I feel translates the vibrations deeper into the body better, and is great for people worried about losing sensitivity. I'd reached a point with my old wand where it would take longer and longer to reach climax. The Doxy can do it in a few minutes even on the lowest setting. light-up LED rubber coated buttons reduce the chance of finger slippage, and the head is a standard size that fits all your favourite standard attachments. The fact it comes with a hard-shell storage case is even better, and I feel like the extra expense (compared to cheaper wands) is well worth it in the long run!

This is an appliance which means business! Sturdy, solid, powerful, easy to use and maintain, and a lovely long lead to reach the plug. I admired this gorgeous wand from afar for months after it first came out as I was working in a sex shop that stocked it. Well I caved and brought one of these for my partners birthday ... it has proved to be a great acquisition.Yes it's big and heavy and has a power cord ... BUT ... it seems very well made with a solid construction and has the power to match it's size and overall heft. Yes there is that power cord but you are not going to get that amount of buzz and thump out of a wimpy battery portable.While it's nicely packaged I don't really buy based on the wrapper ... but rather what's inside. Worth the extra!
We already have the regular Doxy, and it works great. This one intrigued us, though, and so we had to have it! After an initial issue with not being able to be shipped to NZ (thankfully now sorted) we ordered one, and it sure was worth it! The parcel arrived and was quickly unwrapped. The carry case gives an instant touch of class, and the wand itself is very much a step up from the standard plastic bodied wand.
Beautiful toy
Although I do already have a wand vibrator it's a rechargeable and I find what often happens is when I've gone to reach for it, it's all out of buzz! In terms of cost this toy really was a treat to myself but I haven't been disappointed at all, I'm excited to use it more and feel it will last me a good while and be my go to toy. So after saving for a while I purchased the Doxy Die Cast Purple magic wand. The brown lovehoney box that it arrived in was huge, and inside the box was laying cross corner a silver grey padded box with a zip fastener, with Doxy on the zip pull. Very descrete. I unzipped the case to reveals the doxy wand nestled protectively in solid sponge. There is no way this toy is getting damaged while its in this case. My first impression was wow, how big is this? But it's not too heavy, I had feared it being really heavy to hold, but it's not. It's that perfect balance between substantial and perfectly comfortable to hold. The colour. . . It's amazing. It's a rich dark purple with almost a glitter finish to it, looks really sumptuouse. If it was a car colour it would be metallic midnight purple, (or something similar). While the colour is stunning the paint finish is not. I was quite dissapointed to see three fairly obviouse paint flaws, but at the end of the day your going to spend more time with it between your legs than admiring it, so I guess it doesn't matter that much. I plugged in the doxy wand and turned it on, oh my goodness me, that is powerful. Now it was only in my hand at this point. I had read that it turns on half power so turned it right down to the lowest setting before commencing my trial run. I was so excited. I was like a balloon about to burst. A little lube then. . . . This this is amazing. We've previously had the standard love honey product which has recently developed an intermittent fault - frustrating! Anyhow I pushed the boat out for this beast and although it is 3x more expensive (or there abouts) that the LH version it is much more powerful, quieter and the rubber head allows attachments to stay in place better. All in all a great product, well made, well packaged (it even has its own carry case) and a decent length lead. Orgasms come quickly and powerfully with this bad boy, and that's just me! I can't wait to use it on the wife!

I have been lusting over the Doxy Die Cast for an age now and I finally got it through in the post this week. As always, my parcels were delivered by royal mail in very discreet packaging. I opened the brown box and pulled out the Doxy box which was kept in place by scrunched paper so it hadn't been thrown about. The white Doxy box just screams quality. Upon opening the white Doxy box I found a zip up silver carry case containing the Doxy Die Cast. It is perfect. Shiny, heavy, good quality. It oozes luxury. I picked it up and enjoyed that new toy feel. The cold metal in my hands turned me on instantly and I couldn't wait to try it out. I switched it on and the vibrations feel fantastically rumbly. The heavy die cast handle ensures the vibrations stay in the head and even on the lowest setting I was able to orgasm within 2 minutes. It's quiet enough to use in my bedroom whilst others are in the house but not so quiet as a rechargeable. Holding the Doxy Die Cast in my hand is enough to turn me on. If this is in your price range, buy it. It's a million miles from the basic wands and you will struggle to put it away.
The Best Wand Ever
I have had a fair few massage wands over the years. And I like them powerful.... That being said - it's nice to have an option and the Doxy has it all! You can have it on a low vibe, up through the levels to an extremely powerful vibe. It also has a pulsation mode, which on other well known brands I've never been keen on but this one is awesome. The one and only Doxy
It's with great reluctance that I don't give the Doxy full stars for everything. I will go into detail below. First Impressions: The Doxy wand comes in a beautifully presented box with a very modern design scheme. The wand itself is very securely packaged inside the free case in the box and it includes a very long cable. I can plug it in at the foot of my king-size bed and still have plenty of cable to use. The wand itself upon first inspections was incredibly well made, as you would hope for that price, and very large. It had a heavy weight to it, which can cause a bit of a hand ache after a while. In your hand, you hold...power! It's super sexy to hold, it feels amazing and it's just perfect! I really love it! For perfectionists like me, there aren’t any jagged edges on the metal casting or anything I can pick holes in. I would have preferred the neck to me made from a much stronger material for the price, as the rubber has a tendency to snap (See summary for more information). The Die Cast Doxy comes with a well-made tailored case to keep it in. There is shaped foam inside and the Doxy, cable and plug fit perfectly inside. This is a huge advantage if you don't live alone as you can zip it up inside and even leave it plugged in if you want. The case does say Doxy on the zips though, so it's not totally discreet but there isn't any in your face branding. In use: The buttons are well designed in placement and I don't often accidentally press them during use. They are large, and super soft silicone. They also have LED lights on them to help with using it in the dark, or in dim light, which is a really nice feature over the original Doxy wand. It has a mode memory, so it switches on wherever you last used it, so watch this if you are concerned about making noise. It also has a pulse feature where if you hold down the power button and press the + button twice, it will go into pulsing modes. You can change the intensity up or down and the speed of the pulses will decrease or increase. This is a nifty little feature even if I personally don't use it all to often. For those of you that are worried about accidently activating it, fear not. It's not something you can accidently put on. The wand body is so long and heavy that I often find myself using two hands, but it is easily operated with one hand too. I find two hands gives more precision, one hand for movement, the other for pressure. For storage I find the only place I can fit it is beside the bedside cabinet. It's very big, so unless you have some very big drawers next to your bed, don't expect it to fit in them. I leave mine permanently plugged in, and that says a lot about how much I loved it! The head of the wand is silicone, so it's really hygienic, body safe and super soft to the touch. Unlike the normal Doxy wand, this one does not have any padding so it's a little more rigid. The wand head has a tiny bit of flex, so it will move a tiny bit as you use it, which helps for angles, but be careful with it as I have had two normal model Doxy's snap on the 'neck' and the die cast neck is exactly the same material and build. Before I go into anything else, it's worth mentioning that it's noisy on the top speeds, and still fairly noisy on medium. Low is quieter, but if you are power hungry, you will never manage to keep it on low. This is not one for when people are in the house or awake. Even if you have to wait for a quiet house to use this, trust me, it's well worth the wait. For those of you that are really concerned about noise, this model is quieter than the plastic model, and much quieter than the Lovehoney Deluxe plug in range. My experience with it: The lower settings are a deep, powerful rumble. They are not 'buzzy' but rumblier. They are delicious. The higher settings get very 'buzzy' and are also delicious. It's all delicious. Like I said, medium seems to work best for me. The higher settings are great for long sessions because after a few orgasms when you have lost sensitivity, it can give you a little extra feeling. I don't find that this makes me numb, even on longer sessions with it. I had become so skilled with this beast that I can give myself two to three orgasms within 5-10 minutes. I could keep going after that but I usually want to just flop after that many. The Doxy really is something special. It's ergonomically designed, more powerful than the legendary Hitachi and very sleek and stylish. I find it most comfortable to use this over thin clothes. They need to be close fitting though, so pants or PJ's are ideal. The reason for this is that without clothes, it's super intense, even on medium, but being a power queen I refuse to use the lower settings! I have used it many times without clothes, and the only problem there I will mention is that if you are very wet, or have used lube, it can make a rather funny noise as the head vibrates against your wetness and skin. This is not something that I imagine is unique to the Die Cast Doxy, I think all powerful wands with large heads would do this to, and it certainly doesn't put my man off during sessions with it. This really does give me super intense orgasms, most of the time once I have got into my orgasm, I have to take the wand away from my clit for a second or two before I put it back because it gets so intense that I can't bear it to be there. I consistently get multiple orgasms from this, even just before or after my monthly cycle when my sex drive is low. Other than that, they are identical, and both produce the same power/vibrations as far as I can tell. Summary: Overall, this was the best toy I have ever had, until the head snapped. On two of them. In 6 months. I also had a replacement that went straight back because something was rattling inside really loudly! Thank God for Lovehoney's excellent return policy. It’s with reluctance that I don’t give this full stars, as the product itself is amazing and I love it to bits, but the build quality of the neck leaves a lot to be desired. it's with great reluctance that I don't give the Doxy the full rating it deserves, because the build quality of the neck really does let it down. Lovehoney's return policy more than makes up for this though! Still, after trying a couple of other wands I have decided to persevere with the Doxy despite the neck problems, as with Lovehoney's excellent return policy I know that I wont be without it for to long. The ones that I had problems with were normal Doxy models, not the Die Cast. I purchased the Die Cast as it appears to have a metal 'neck' in the photos and I thought it would stand up to time a bit better, but unfortunately the 'neck' is thin rubber just like the normal Doxy wand and would inevitably snap again after a few months. I also had problems with one of my normal Doxy models overheating and turning itself off at very annoying times. So far I have had no problems with the Die Cast Doxy overheating, it only gets slightly warm. What I will say for Doxy’s in general, is despite the three broken models in 6 months that it really is an amazing toy, and if you’re willing to sacrifice it for a week or two when you have to send it back for a replacement, then it's well worth a purchase. I wouldn't be without mine. Just be aware that Lovehoney's warranty is only a year so you need to decide if the price is fair for a year’s usage for your budget, as the Die Cast Doxy is a fair bit pricier for not many differences. Extremely powerful
I was bought this toy as a present and it definitely doesn't disappoint! I particularly love the pulsating mode. I had never squirted from clitoral stimulation alone before, but this toy totally caught me off guard. There was a bit of a mess to clear up afterwards! It's pretty big, and not particularly quiet, so not massively stealthy, but so worth it. You could use it as a massage wand, but I honestly don't know why you would!
To Die Cast, or not To Die Cast, that is the Question
I’ve been the very proud owner of an original Doxy wand for quite a while now, and I love it. It’s without question my favourite wand of all time, in fact, it’s one of my favourite sex toys of all time. It’s powerful, rumbly and simply divine! The original Doxy has an aluminium head which is covered in a cushioned, body safe PVC, and although this feels fantastic, I always found myself wishing that the head was made from my preferred sex toy material, silicone. You can imagine my glee, when I found out some months ago, that Doxy were going to be releasing a new, Die Cast version of their wand, complete with silicone head. I was very, very excited! My beautiful wand was getting a makeover, and was about to become my dream toy … Wasn’t it? The Doxy Die Cast is a stunning piece of engineering, and I think that most people would agree. With a handle formed from cast aluminium and titanium metals, the resulting product is exquisitely polished to perfection. There’s no denying that a huge part of the appeal of this wand is the aesthetics, and unsurprisingly, it’s aimed largely at the bdsm market. Any Sub lucky enough to encounter a Dom wielding a Doxy Die Cast is a very lucky Sub indeed! The visuals are just impeccable, it oozes quality and luxury, and it absolutely looks the part. As with the original Doxy wand, the Die Cast model is capable of between 3,000 and 9,000 RPM, and is the most powerful wand massager on the market. The head is also the same size, at 7.5 inches in circumference, so will accommodate any standard sized additional attachments, allowing you to take your wand in different directions if you wish. The three control buttons on the handle are LED lit on the Die Cast model, which is a nice addition when you’re using it somewhere dimly lit or dark. With 8 settings and a pulse mode, controlled by the on/off and plus/minus buttons, the Die Cast works in exactly the same was as the original model does, although I have found my Die Cast to have a mode memory, whereas my original Doxy always powers on mid-power range. It comes in a fantastic zip up case, which I love! The original Doxy had no long term storage solution provided, and I found that it was hard to find something large enough to accommodate it. So whilst some people possibly won’t be too excited about getting a storage case, I’m totally delighted. Although fairly large, it’s a great place to store your wand for quick access and to keep it in pristine condition for every use. I was so excited by the release of the Doxy Die Cast, it was everything I wished for and more, which makes the fact that it’s left me ambivalent and confused, an even more bitter pill to swallow. On one hand I'm in love with it, it’s fantastic, but on the other, I’m kind of left loving my original even more than I did before. Let see if I can try and explain why … The first thing we did with the Doxy Die Cast when it arrived was give me some Double-Doxy loving! Face down on the bed, my other half happily got to work on my back with both wands simultaneously. I was curious to know if I’d be able to tell which was which, short answer is I could, 100% of the time. Firstly, there’s the noise levels. The original Doxy is fairly loud in use, but the Doxy Die Cast is undeniably quieter, which is a huge plus in my book. The level of noise never bothered me before, and still doesn’t, but obviously it’s nicer to experience lower levels of ear bashing! That said, the original Doxy is still much quieter than many other wands on the market. Would I still know the difference between the two models when I blocked my hearing? Well decibels aside, yes. The head on the original Doxy feels nicer for body massage than that of the Die Cast model, because of the cushioned PVC. It has an element of ‘squish’ to it, and you can really knead it into your muscles without causing discomfort. The Die Cast’s head is a chunk of heavy silicone, and whilst it still feels good for tissue massage, it’s just not quite the same. When used by a partner on you, it’s not too much of an issue, but the extra weight of the Die Cast Doxy can also be a bit of a hinderance if you’re trying some DIY muscle manipulation. To give you an idea of the extra weight, the handle and head of the original Doxy (no lead or plug) is around 532g, compared to the Die Cast’s 700g. Now let’s talk vibrations! This is where the Doxy Die Cast really messes with my head! The double weighted, smooth silicone wand head is said by Doxy, to produce more thuddy sensations on the higher settings, but my body is yet to decide fully if ‘more thuddy’ is actually a good thing or not. The original Doxy seems slightly more buzzy than the Die Cast version. Now, I have to be absolutely clear here, the Doxy is in NO WAY a buzzy vibrator! I don’t even like buzzy things, they desensitise me and my body doesn’t like that, but this is the only way I can even begin to explain the differences. The Die Cast model produces deep and rumbly vibrations, which resonate well into the body, from a head that feels very static and heavy in use. The original Doxy gives the same kind of deep and rumbly vibrations, but because the head is lighter and softer, it vibrates with more movement, which seems to give the vibrations more travel, in comparison to the Die Cast’s more contained vibrations. If the head was placed in water, the original Doxy would produce a wider, more lively ripple, and the Die Cast would produce ripples that were calmer and remained closer to the head. The result is that the Doxy Die Cast, whilst technically having the same power as the original Doxy, feels slightly less powerful - I was not expecting that at all! It’s because if this, that the Doxy Die Cast makes me wait for about 90-120 seconds for a clitoral orgasm. How dare it, I know! Obviously I’m jesting there, 90-120 seconds is still blooming quick, but when you consider that, with the original Doxy I’m always Gone in 60 seconds, you can see there is a difference, but it’s still pretty good at getting the job done! Would I recommend the Doxy Die Cast, well yes I would, but with a couple of provisos … The silicone head will likely be a huge draw for some people, but bear in mind that it’s a heavy, solid head, which does seem to dampen down the vibrations a little. If you already own and love a Doxy, I’d genuinely think long and hard before investing in the Die Cast. It’s a lot of money, and if the aesthetics don’t bother you too much, and you already really like how the vibrations feel on your original model, it might not be the upgrade you’re hoping for. If how a sex toy looks is important to you, or if you’re wanting it to be part of a more visual scene, then the Doxy Die Cast will likely be right up your street. Equally, if you’ve never experienced Doxy before, and you love the look of the Die Cast, and the extra expense isn’t an issue for you, then I think you’ll fall in love at first orgasm - and that’ll be the first of many!

I’ll get to the review in a moment. For now just give a minute of two to revel in the sheer majesty of this commanding wand. The Doxy Die Cast also comes with a 12 month guarantee as a testament to its durability. The Doxy Die Cast is a huge wand and it has an imposing feel about it. Because of its metallic casing Doxy has recommended this wand to those in the BDSM scene and I can totally see it. Could you imagine if your dom placed a sturdy case on the side, unzipped it and revealed this wand? I know I’d be squirming. On the flip side imagine what you could do to your sub with a wand like this? Not only is this wand a total beast (can you say ‘forced orgasm’?) but the metal handle is also ice cold to the touch—creating the perfect tool for some temperature play. The Doxy Die Cast is mains powered, because a toy like this requires some serious juice. Thankfully the cord for the Die Cast is very accommodating, giving you about 2.8 meters of cord to play with. While the handle of the Die Cast is made out of metal the head is made out of silicone. This makes the Doxy non-porous, phthalate-free, and completely body-safe. I have to admit, having a silicone head on the Die Cast really does make all of the difference for me. Now, I know the real question on your mind; how powerful is the Doxy Die Cast? What does it feel like? Well with a maximum power of 9,000RPM I can report that the Doxy Die Cast feels pretty damned formidable and I love it. The Die Cast has a lower hum to it and feels resonant during use. Compared to some rumblier wands it has more buzz-based vibrations to but they’re a low, deep buzz rather than a mosquito’s hum. This does make all the difference during use, allowing the Doxy Die Cast to stimulate the genitals without numbing them out. As for the orgasms…well, if I was a cartoon character my eyes would change to love hearts whenever I had them. Deep, long-lasting, and wholly immersive there is nothing to dislike about these orgasms. They’re exactly what you’d expect from a wand of this calibre. Pure elation. So are there any flaws with this awe-inspiring wand? Well yes. It’s heavy, it’s not made for compact storage, its buttons can be finicky, and it’s cold to the touch.
