I was really shocked at how weak the highest intensity level was - I expected a lot more - especially for the price!
Amazing little vibrator!
I bought this toy back in 2020 and still to this day, use it almost everyday because it feels so good and makes me orgasm very hard. It's also very quiet and the speeds are lovely. I don't change the patterns because I like a constant vibration instead but there are many of them that are all very nice. This was the very first vibrator I bought from LH and my first ever vibe; such a good one for someone who's never used one before! Overall a cute design, fits in your palm nicely and is easy to use, however the motor is not as strong as I would've liked. Because of this, you need to use it for longer which just ends up numbing you out (or worse - the battery will die in 60 minutes). Further, it is quite loud, but with a closed door and music you should be fine.

After reading all these amazing reviews I was super keen to try it after my partner bought it as a present for me last year.
I didn't like the sensation at all, and the noise it makes is pretty horrendous and off-putting. I have plenty of other toys that help me with clitoral stimulation but I was really sad that this didn't have the desired effect, even the opposite.

Ran out of life mid-use, multiple times
Great toy, however I found that the battery life reduced a lot over time, at times running out mid-use even though it was freshly charged, which was rather frustrating. It ended up having a short life as it died last month (July 2021) and I only bought it in January 2020. I wouldn't say it is worth the money.

Expensive Mistake
I bought one of these for Christmas after seeing all the positive reviews on this site. Love Honey delivered within 2 days, which is impressive since this was a week earlier than expected, over the Holiday period, under COVID19 restrictions.However, that is the end of my satisfaction with this product.I have a £6.99 unbranded bullet type, which brings me to climax in under 4 minutes. The Desire Luxury, after 24 hours of charging, failed to do its job. I have tried it multiple times with equally poor results. Power is low and the controls impossible, it isn't any quieter than other more powerful models I have played with and the accompanying price tag of £59.99 makes it a very EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.

The vibrations are not strong enough have not been able to orgasm. I have used fifty shades of grey rabbit vibrator and omg this is no way near it. It’s so loud as well which is such a turn off. So I’ve got a bullet, and I’ve got a magic wand- both of which I love. The starter for your full course meal
You know how when you go to a restaurant, you can never get full off the starter? Well this is basically the same thing but sex toy edition. Can you orgasm from this yes but you have to be supper turned on like down there has to be extra moist (sorry) as if not you won’t really feel it. Good little pebble
This really is quite a nice vibrator.The pebble shape does fit quite nicely in your hand and the design is quite pretty (especially with the shiny black portion). The case is quite sleek and sturdy too, with elastic to prevent the toy rattling around. The charging hole is a nice touch too, and surprisingly well hidden for the size of it.It does seem to have 12 speeds however above about the 6th they are very similar with only a slight increase. The higher powers are also a bit loud and buzzy for me personally. The vibration patterns are fairly good too. It's a little odd that you turn it on with the + and - buttons but it's easy enough to get used to, and they're quite well positioned for pushing while playing. I do really like that you can up or decrease the power without having to click through every other mode. However, it can be a bit tricky to press the right button just by touch, they could be more distinctively marked.It's not quite right for me to completely finish though. This is because though the tip tapers, it's still a bit wide so the sensations are a bit too spread for me personally (i like quite direct sensation to specific areas). This toy has put me off buying sex toys online. The outward curve shape doesn't do it for me. I prefer when the tip curves inwards to cup the clit. Disappointed and unsatisfactory
I really wanted to love this product. I was hoping to use this with my partner during sex. The size and shape was perfect! But the vibrations fell short. Good Vibe, Bad Motor
So I bought this little guy 3 months ago. It was great, charged fast, and worked amazingly. The vibrations are a little more buzzy than rumbly, but overall it was awesome. It's got different speeds and pulses which is a plus. However, after 3 months the motor is starting to go. It will lose a charge very quickly, and on the highest speed it works for about 5 minutes, then lowers in intensity, then starts to kind of switch between different speeds without it being on a different pulse setting. I loved this thing until the motor started dying in it. For the price, I just don't think something that works for 3 months is worth it.

Disappointing

It looks great. Feels smooth, nice travel bag. It gets you there, for me as well the shape at first was new to play around with but if you do find th spot it does do the trick. I don't know about the 12 intensities. I didn't feel a difference after like 5-6. Also the bummer thing is that the batter doesn't last that long so if it takes you more than a few mins to reach the top you might be bummed. First time I got 1,5 playyimes in and the bummer feeling when your toy dies in the middle is bad.

I have tried this toy 3 times now (2 times solo, 1 time with my partner). I enjoyed it the most during sex when I gave it to my partner. It's easy to hold and feels very good in your hand (really nice silky silicone). I like all the different patterns and speeds you can play around with (I prefer patterns in general). It takes a while for me to orgasm with it when I don't use any internal stimulation but it's really good to get me in the mood. I think I need to experiment with it a bit. Desire Luxury Rechargeable Clitoral Vibrator
I got this a while ago on offer which was the only reason I purchased it, it came in a nice little black case and charges pretty quickly, I like the colour and it looks and feels good quality. After eagerly waiting for it to charge I gave it a go. It did feel good and did make me orgasm but I personally have used better ones and didn’t feel that it was that great. I like it when I do get it out to use but I wouldn’t say it’s the first toy that I would reach for. Incompatible
First off, judging by other peoples comments, this is clearly a toy that works well for many people. Sadly though i’m just not one of them. I wanted to like this vibe, i really did. Its soft silicone, interesting patterns, and customisation of the intensities really endeared it to me. but sadly we just weren't meant to be. I find the vibrations do nothing for me. Theyre strong, but a bit buzzy. And for some reason this means i can barely feel them. Build- The silicone is incredibly soft and very nice on the skin. I also liked the shape and found, once i got used to it, it presented many different angles and surfaces to use. The CE mark on the underneath was rather irritating as i found it tricky to clean. Even with special attention i often found i still hadn't cleaned it thoroughly enough. The indents on the top are easier, but still need special care. As did the join with the abs section. Charging- Charging is simple, though i did struggled to push the pin in firmly enough a couple of times. But the light does work as a good indicator for this. Controls- I found it very easy to mix the buttons up while in use and almost fee like it could do with a bump on the Up buttons just so you can tell them apart more easily. Turning it off by turning the intensity all the way down was also annoying, and i often found myself switching it off accidentally whilst trying to find the lowest speeds. I ended up resorting to counting them down, not super when your trying to concentrate on other things. Vibrations- The vibrations are strong and the variable intensity good. It does seem to start on the 2nd or 3rd intensity though. The vibrations are a bit buzzy. And personally i couldn't get on with them. Very occasionally when used on my vulva they felt good. Most of the time they where either completely unnoticeable for me or actually a massive turn off. Only one speed actually did anything for me. Even pressing the vibe against myself did nothing to improve this. Patterns- The patterns are one of my favourite things about this toy. They are a great selection and i would say there is probably something for everyone. I liked nearly all of them and was incredibly sad that the vibrations didnt allow me to enjoy them as much as i wanted to. One of the best things about this vibe is as you increase the intensity, the patterns change subtly. Becoming more intense by either increasing the length of the pulses or the time spent at the stronger part of the pattern. I absolutely love this feature and wish more toys would include it. It give you so much variety. Noise- I found this toy surprisingly loud. Something that put me off at first. You can just hear it though a door. But you have to be listening for it to notice it. Conclusion- If the vibrations work for you and you like pebble vibes, this is probably a really good vibe. Its settings are incredibly customisable and the vibrations are strong. For many people it obviously works well. Sadly the vibrations just aren't rumbly enough to suit everyone. But its Simple to use and Good for a couple who wants an external vibe for use Together, people who need clit stimulation and anyone who likes patterns
Fun as part of sex but not useful on its own
The shape and feel is great when using during sex and great to add to the fun. But used on its own is a bit rubbish and never been able climax with it. The vibrations are not very strong and only useful as an extra stimulus. Real shame as other Love honey products have been great.

it is not powerful at all, even it is much lager compare to others. completely wast of money. But the package is nice, which can help to keep it out of sight, not remind my disappointment. I really do like the Desire Range. As usual, it comes with its own storage bag and its charger. Super smooth and soft silicone, lovely colour and feel. Size is perfect, as it fits perfectly in the hand. Easy to use, 3 simple buttons. 8 modes of vibration, each with 12 custom speeds of intensity. That's quite a lot, but very interesting to find the perfect one. Comes with the travel lock as well for peace of mind. Furthermore, it's so quiet for its power! Unbelievable!! Pretty good
Rechargeable is definately the way to go. Its pretty quiet and discreet. The vibrations arent super powerful but then this isnt like a mains powered wand ! The build quality is very good. It has a nice smooth finish. It is also pretty quiet. The pebble like shape is quite innocous too so if its in a girls bag it not gonna stand out with a phallic shape.
Not as good as some other clit vibrators
This vibrator was a bit of a disappointment for me sadly. Contrary to what it may appear in the pictures, the tip of the vibrator is actually quite firm and not very flexible at all. This makes it difficult to vary the vibration strength. The tip is also fairly broad, I found it difficult to target specific areas with enough precision for my liking. Though some people who prefer more overall stimulation may prefer this I suppose. The gunmetal finish on the bottom/back of the vibrator also began to peel away after only a few months of buying it which was disappointing. I quite liked the travel case this toy came with, I've kept it to store my sex toy charging cables in. Although I have since replaced this vibrator with something that suits my body better.
Amazing
First time my wife and I have tried one of these and I can only say I’m glad we did. Small but mighty

The size on this product is fairly unassuming but wow does it work wonders. With various speeds and patterns you can mix and match to your heart's desire. It's okay

I got this when it was on sale for 50% off, otherwise I would not have splurged on such an expensive toy for myself. The toy feels great. The feel of it is so soft. It comes with a cute leather case. The vibrations speeds and patterns are good. The vibration is not as direct as a bullet vibe for example, because the tip of it is wider, but it makes for a different kind of sensation. The only draw back I can think of is that it is a bit loud, so if you have roommates or family who rarely leave the house, they might be able to hear it.

We bought this ages ago from love honey and as usual, postage was fast and discreet. The toy itself has a luxurious feel and feels well made, charging didn’t take long, and holds a charge for a decent amount of time aswell. Disappointed! Jongo, straight married male
Received this toy some time ago and we have been trying it occasionally ever since. Unfortunately it does not live up to what we are accustomed to in the desire line. We find the vibrations buzzy and weak not at all like the deep rumbling vibes that the desire rabbit produces. My most exciting toy
I have had the Desire for many months now, and it remains my favourite toy. The power is so strong, but the noise is kept to a minimum which is very important to me. Why did I not buy this sooner?!
I purchased the Desire Luxury Rechargeable Clitoral Vibrator, I wasn't to sure on the vibrator as It wasn't something I had seen before but to my surprise I have been missing out all this time! Perfect for a first-timer
Bought this as my first vibrator and couldn't be happier. It's sleek, quiet and hold its charge well. The design is just fantastic, from its shape to the soft feel of the silicone. wish i bought it sooner

Rechargeable clit stim vibrator

Rubbish
I got this item a little while ago as part of a deal and honestly, I can't believe how expensive it is! When it comes to my clit, I like a strong vibrator. Works
Does the job. There are a variety of pulses to choose from so it's best to try out different ones. This way you get to find your favourite and also have lots of fun in the process. You can start with a bit of a teasing warm up one, that takes you to edge then slows down. When you are ready to burst, you can switch to the continuous pulse at whatever intensity you fancy. This usually does the trick for us.

Great addition
We don't really have many toys in the bedside cupboard so decided to get a better vibrater to make things better for her. First time used was a little awkward as we actually couldn't figure out if it was the metal plate or the rubber end you were supposed to use (sounds silly but wait till you get it) once we decided the correct way (prob not actually the right way) it was really simple to use and quite powerful for a palm sized toy USB charging is great especially with the case that allows a lock on it and a slot for the cable to go in so I can be charged discreetly. Also a lot easier to hold onto than a bullet but doesn't feel like it gets in the way of anything Definetly worth buying, top tip from me though is don't treat it like a to remote and keep changing the settings! Find one to try and stick to it otherwise it just confuses her!
Skilful handling gives self-pleasure
The Desire Clitoral Vibrator is a silky silicone shape that vibrates at different speeds and patterns to bring about clitorial climax. This is a lovely shaped object to hold, soft but firm, and the shape and luxurious coating felt comfortable close to my skin. It is comfortable to hold, although I was a little disappointed because the shape and vibrations did not initially satisfy me. Initially, I held with the tip in my pussy, which made it too unyielding against my clit. I needed to use the tip on the side of my clit combined with the vibration around my vulva, to bring me the most comfortable orgasms. It's quiet - but the mechanical motor is still a bit of a turn-off. Perhaps one day Lovehoney will sell silent vibrators! I loved the different patterns and the illustration that came with the product was helpful to help me chose the right combination of pattern and intensity for me. I felt the box is discrete enough not to shout 'vibrator enclosed' at airports and other public places (unless, of course, the staff have one themselves!) I liked the waterproof and easy to access charging point. I think the USB charged products are quieter than battery operated ones. An uncharged vibrator is pretty useless really! But this does take a while to fully charge - which means leaving it in a potentially charging public place which could be awkward.
Unimpressed
I ordered this after heaving rave reviews and I just don't reach for it compared to other toys. I've had it over a year now and have used it about 3 times, and didn't finish two of those times. All in all, not good signs. I don't think the controls are that easy to use; my boyfriend has managed to turn it off when trying to turn it up etc and that's really not what anyone is looking for. It's also quite a bit noisier than some other vibrators that I have so not something to choose if you're worried about flatmates etc.
Just doesn't do it for me
I bought this after seeing such good reviews but I have to say I'm not impressed. It does feel very pleasant but who needs pleasant? I want OMG!! Just when I think I might be getting there, it runs out of charge. Very frustrating. The push buttons are tiny and I cannot use them by feel alone - I have to actually look at the buttons, thereby interrupting play. It is a lovely colour, ergonomically designed and easy to clean and charge. Just not for me.

The Powerful and Pretty Pebble
If your looking for a vibrator with powerful vibrations then this might be just what your looking for. As a student on a budget, I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on a something like a wand while also needing it to be quite discreet and quiet. After seeing this was on offer and its overall positive reviews I decided to try it for myself. With travelling over the summer it's been easy to discreetly stash away in a bag and plug into a USB travel charger (meaning it's ready to use by the time you reach the hotel). The storage bag is well made, good quality and quite discreet (it could easily pass as a shaving case); it could be possible to attach a small lock for extra peace of mind if you desire. One small complaint about the would be that you don't know when the battery is about to go flat. The vibrator is really light, feels very sleek against the skin and the pebble shape contours to the body quite comfortably. I've found can sit well into your panties if you are feeling particularly daring. Compared to a bullet vibrator, this offers more surface space to spread the vibrations over and the shape is very easy to handle. Yet I have found the shape can be quite cumbersome though if you are wanting to use in combination with penetration, although I'm quite a petite person and from the reviews I've read this isn't a problem for everyone, so is probably best suited to solo play or letting a partner tease you with it during foreplay in my opinion. Don't let it's size fool you as I have found that its a very powerful vibrator that has so far put my others to shame in terms of its strength of vibrations. I've had some of my best orgasms from using this. The highest setting in very intense and is honestly nosier than I would like in a product that is otherwise quite discreet. I have not played around with the pattern vibrations much as I usually prefer constant vibrations but I will probably want to experiment more with the patterns to see if they are just as enjoyable as the constant setting. Amazing, luxury vibrator

The storage case is very cute, good quality, and can even be locked if you have a little travel lock. Sadly disappointed
I had read all the good reviews and we made the choice to give this little toy a go. It was an informed choice as it cost more than we usually spend on a toy but as I can only orgasm through clitoral stimulation we thought we would give this a go....that it would be a good investment (especially as I had worn out the other toys! Oops!) I love the shape, it fits the body well and easy to hold and operate. The zip up carry case is nice, it keeps it tidy and away. I was disappointed by the battery life, it feels that I am charging every few uses and this isn't always convenient. The part I was most disappointed with was the power...the vibrations fell short of what I need....I was always nearly there...not enough to push me over the edge. This means the 'pebble' is left in the draw.
It’s alright
Got this a while back as part of a deal lovehoney had going, so seeing as it was retailing at £60 I was incredibly happy to get it for free... well, get it for my partner All in all, it’s alright, not great but not bad, could have it in the collection but wouldn’t be bummed out if it wasn’t. I’m a giver, I really enjoy pleasing my partner, and this toy does have its moments to aid me. Fun and environmental
straight out of the box it looked nice and sleek. comes in a great box with a charging cable. looks more like a high tech computer mouse then a vibrator. got really excited to use it when we unwrapped it but had to wait 90 minutes to charge first. started out like we start with all our new toys: she laid down and I started going through the settings one by one, with each one starting slow and then speeding up. she was struggling between loving what it was doing and curious about the next setting. she loved it so I loved it. it's been getting so much use... lucky it's rechargeable.
Great quality but way too buzzy!
This vibe is an amazing quality vibe, easily charged, feels luxurious. The down side is that it's buzzy and not rumbly and for me didn't stimulate anything at all. I felt nothing at all, even on the highest settings. Also not pinpoint enough for my liking. I tried it with lubricant, in the shower, but unfortunately it will be in my drawer from now on :(
Decent bit of kit
If you're thinking of buying this, then dummy hesitate buy it. It's different to a little bullet, it's easier to handle and give a bigger vibration surface area. Amazing
Despite being a little pricey I thought I would treat myself. I ordered this around Christmas time but have been too busy playing with it to write a review. Great on the go

Almost Perfect
After making my first purchase I was absolutely converted to toys - and I knew I wanted something a bit more luxury to add to my small (but growing) collection and seeing so many incredible reviews for this toy made it a very easy decision to purchase it. Packaging:- When it arrived, in the box was a small Lovehoney case which contained the toy, all the literature and the charging cable. One of the primary reasons I picked this toy was because it did have the added bonus of storage included in the price. I have a medium LH storage box with other toys in and knew that it was worth the higher overall price for that additional extra! Getting it out of the box the first thing I did was pop it on charge. Rechargeable toys are definitely something I'm going to be investing in - it's so much easier to 'plug and play' than to get something and realise you don't have the right batteries! Appearance:- The toy itself is a beautiful, deep purple. It's an absolutely gorgeous texture - buttery soft silicone which I couldn't (and still can't) stop playing with as it's just so tactile and lovely to touch. The controls are quite simple, two speed controls and a mode button and all are self explanatory and easy to use. It just screams luxury when you hold it. I also love the gun metal ABS on the back which just gives it a beautiful finish and a bit of pizzazz! Speed/Intensity:- Having just run through all the speeds I could count the 12 speed/intensity settings after a few times. Some of them are almost indistinguishable from the previous pattern which made it difficult to identify all 12 on a first try. The first 4 I would say are a little more rumbly, and relatively quiet. Then I found they get a bit buzzier, and a lot louder come setting 5 or 6. I'm still learning toys, and learning my body all over again with their help, and I found the higher settings almost desensitised me which defeats the whole point of the vibrator. It's also worth noting that on the subject of noise, even with TV on, a duvet, and my door shut on the higher settings I could hear it through the wall in the room adjoining my bedroom. Lower settings I feel a lot less anxious about using with other people in the house! Patterns:- There are 8 patterns as per the specs of the vibrator and, honestly, patterns aren't for me. They're fun, but I need constant stimulation to reach orgasm. I might play with them a bit more in future, but what can I say. They're there, as the description said. Overall Verdict:- Almost, but not quite perfect for me personally. I've experimented with this toy - in bed, in the bath, various angles, various intensities, and my overall feeling of it is that there is just something missing for me. It does the job, I have a great orgasm, but it's not a toy I'm going to be reaching for if I want a fast or intense orgasm. It's more of a slow and leisurely build up, with a longer, but far less intense orgasm. It is a good toy, I am going to be using it for many years to come I hope. Disappointing
I'd had my eye on this little thing for the longest time, and after finding a few discounts and managing to get the price to something a little more reasonable I finally took the plunge. I wanted to like it; I truly did. The silicone is beautifully soft, but the vibrations were just way too buzzy, and they didn't do anything for me. I've returned and purchased a MiMi, which I'm hoping can tick the boxes that the Desire failed to do.
The perfect little vibrator
I've had my eye on this for a while and was so excited to finally get it and try it out! As soon as you open the box this just feels like a luxury product. The case is a great touch, perfect for storing the vibrator to keep it clean while not in use and it also has a hole for the charger, so you can keep it hidden while charging. It's sturdy and big enough to fit a small lube, so would be ideal for use while travelling. The vibrator itself is a lovely shade of purple and feels velvety soft. It's the perfect shape and size to fit comfortably in your hand, and against your body. It's small and light so you don't get an aching hand when using it for a long time, and because of the shape its easy to use with a partner, and doesn't get in the way at all. The buttons are easily accessible and simple to use. For a small vibrator it provides some pretty powerful vibrations. The 2nd or 3rd setting was enough for me! I haven't really used the patterns much as I prefer a constant vibration, but its great that they can be controlled seprately so that you can use them on any speed. Its sleek and elegant, and I am so pleased with it. I will definitely be trying more Desire products in the future!
Gorgeous
This is a beautiful piece of equipment, both in how it looks and how it can make you feel. It's simple design belies it's power, and the potential for mind blowing orgasms. It comes with a simple and effective carry case, however it is rarely put away long enough for the case to be of much use. What a disappointment
I don't normally leave reviews but I just felt I add my pennies worth regarding our dissapointment in the Lovehoney Desire Luxury USB Rechargeable Clitoral Vibrator. After reading so many good reviews and all hype of it being voted the best vibrator in the world by Good housekeeping all I can say is I think Good housekeeping should review a few more vibrators as this clearly is not the best vibrator in the world. After charging for 4hrs this did nothing but frustrate my OH as the vibrations were just so weak and frustrating so this just got put back in its box and the old trusty Annabelle Knight Wowee! came out to play that's just in a different league. Yes its well made and rechargeable so no more looking for batteries comes very well packaged in a nice box and storage case but its just not got the vibes needed no matter what the speed or pattern. I bought this on offer @£12.50 and feel let down If I had parted with its normal £59.99 asking price I would feel like I had been mugged,
Could be better
I would really, really like to give this a 5 star review. But I just can't. The luxurious packaging, the quality of the vibrator and the design are all beautiful and deserve a 5 star rating. But the vibrations were a disappointment for me. They just wouldn't do it. They were very buzzy and I could barely feel anything. Most of the stimulation came from me rubbing my clitoris with the vibrator rather than the vibrations themselves. Also the charging cable had a 'clitoral vibrator' tag on it, which I didn't particularly like. It's such a shame, because it could be so much more.
Really liked it
It's soft and velvety to the touch, which really gives me the impression that it's of high quality. I really like the vibration quality as well, it wasn't buzzy or harsh. Instead of a quick orgasm, I use this for a slow burn that steadily gets hotter. I don't really like using patterns, but I really loved the wide range of speeds on this. It can get very, very strong. Only con is that it's a rechargeable toy. This means that the battery life is relatively short. It can only handle one session, and often dies in the middle of the next. Perhaps I should be charging in between use, but I would've much preferred a battery that would last me days!

I brought this item as it was described as the best vibrator ever! I however disagree. It wasn’t strong enough for me and did nothing for me what so ever. Not worth it at all
I was pretty excited to own this and given all the amazing reviews about this product I was expecting so much more....and this -this just did not live up to the hype. Yes, the product looked amazing and the material felt wonderful to touch. The vibrations however, where a complete let down (and perhaps that was my fault for expecting too much given its small size?). Even at the highest setting the product wasn't giving strong vibrations. I've been using it for over 15 minutes and it did absolutely nothing for me -and by nothing I mean I went from semi wet to just dry the more I tried to bring myself off with it. I am just disappointed really. It's a waste of money if you're into more powerful vibrations to give you that big O.
No more batteries
Got this lovely little vibe as part of an offer and wasn't expecting much but was very happily surprised. We Love It
I was in need of something a little different to add to my current collection. I'd been eyeing up the Desire range for a while and I'd seen some great reviews on this vibrator, so I thought - why not? ~~~ STORAGE ~~~ The vibrator comes with a small, black storage case. There is a Velcro-sealed pocket for safely storing your charger separate to the vibrator. The case is pretty solid and it feels secure. There is a small hole in the bottom corner of the case for discreet charging and this box would not raise any eyebrows if left out. Importantly for me, there is more than enough room in the case for an additional small toy or two. Throw in a small tin of orgasm balm and you've got yourself a compact little clit-kit for your travels! ~~~ VIBRATOR ~~~ My initial reaction was that this toy was far smaller than I was expecting - this is not a bad thing. Thanks to the shape and size, it fits comfortably in my hand without feeling clumsy. I previously tried the We-Vibe Wish which, whilst comfortable to hold, I found the size to be cumbersome for me. This vibrator is darker purple in real life than in the pictures, which I prefer. The plastic underneath is more of a shiny black colour. The silicone is silky smooth - to be honest, I'm sat here stroking it as I write this review! The buttons click as you press them. This may not seem important, but I've had issues with previous toys where I'm not sure if I'm hitting the button right - a real mood killer during play time! I got a great build-up from just the lowest setting. The highest setting does not leave my clit feeling numb midway through, despite being powerful (for me). Although the toy does make a relatively loud buzzing sound on the higher settings, I do find the vibrations to be more of a rumble (which I personally prefer) and it doesn't produce that dreaded tickling sensation. I don't generally use patterns for clitoral stimulation, but it seems to have a good standard selection. If you'd prefer to tailor your own vibration patterns, something from the We-Vibe range may be more up your street. I love that the power and the patterns are controlled separately, so you can adjust the vibrations to your own preference. Some toys I've used in the past have only allowed you to use patterns on the highest vibration setting, which can sometimes be too intense. The separate controls is something that really appealed to me about the Desire range and it did not disappoint! Pretty good, though not my favourite shape for a clitoral vibe
My favorite clitoral vibrator died recently (RIP), and this is the closest I could find to a replacement, so I want to preface this review by saying that I started out already skeptical. It's fine as a clitoral vibrator, but the shape isn't the best for my body, which is hard to tell without use, and after about a month it started making this weird clicking noise while in some of the settings, so it absolutely needs background noise to block the sound. It does the job, and as I mostly use it on my period, there's not much more to ask. Although, when this one eventually dies, I'll look for something more similar to my first clitoral vibe.

This is the first ever review i have ever done, because i feel this is honestly worth it. (Tried and tested) The controls took some working out but me being so eager to try this out never read the directions, but after having a read through the booklet what is easy to follow and set out with multiple diagrams to help you understand and work this, i got it straight away. There are so many setting and speeds to try with this one and because its so powerful you can easily sit back and relax without putting in any effort and let this bad boy do its thing. You can definitely experiment with this and try new things alone or with your partner. For me i would definitely recomend this to anyone its an investment as you don't need anything else with this as you can just recharge and be done.
Brilliant vibrator
I bought this for my girlfriend as a part of her naughty Christmas stocking. I can honestly say it is a brilliant toy! It’s quiet, intense and submersible!! Does the job but runs out of charge too quick, had recharge half way through so moved onto other toys. We have a high sex drive after a drink and need more power. Takes too long to charge as its 90 minutes to charge and lasts about 20 minutes. Not worth paying for.
Hmm okay?
The feel of this on my skin was absolutely amazing, but I would really say that it was mind blowing when I used it for its intended purpose.... Don’t get me wrong, it did feel good, but I have better ‘go to’ toys that I would rather use! The soft touch of the ‘skin’ was like I said early, amazing, and I love the fact it is rechargeable rather than keep changing the battery, but the vibrations themselves just wasn’t for me I’m afraid!
Slow burner but great
At first I wasn't too sure about this one but after a bit of practice getting it in the right position, WOW.... Very intense and great fun. Very good choice
I bought this as a naughty Xmas present for my wife she was very shocked at first but was very excited to try something new, I first used it on her tied to the bed, started low speed just in case she felt uncomfortable but she was soon asking to turn it up lol. Really this product didn’t live up to the reviews I read before buying it. It’s a pity because the other lovehoney products I purchased are great, but it might work for some other users. It just didn’t hit the spot , I found that it wasn’t very powerful either.

Great together, great solo
This was one of the first vibrators that I brought and wow!! I am in love with it. I absolutely love the different patterns and intensity of vibrations which allow you to change things up each time. Not worth £60
I received this vibrator free as part of an online love honey promotion and at first was extremely excited as it was my first “luxury” vibrator. I was very impressed with the feel of it, the silicone it’s very nice on the skin and the shape of it does feel really good in both the hand and on the clitoris. I opened the product and charged it up for my first use (partner play) but found due to the shape of it, it wasn’t great to use during intercourse and it would be a much better toy used in solo play. I tested it out myself and whilst yes it was very pleasurable I found the placement of the love honey branding pretty problematic as I kept mistakingly trying to press it as it felt like a button (it is situated just under the speed and rhythm buttons). The speed can go very high which is fantastic and it is waterproof which makes cleaning easy as well as water play. I find that I wouldn’t have payed £60 for this as I have had better experiences with £5 vibrators but the rhythm, speed and waterproof features do make it a good product!
Not as exciting as I hoped
This little baby looked like fun, then i went and bought it, tried it and wasn't so excited. The tip just didn't sit quite where i like or cover enough area of the clit. The vibes can be strong but it is VERY loud. I have still yet to orgasm from it and find 9/10 i am going back to my dildo more than using this.It also sits fairly uncomfortable.
Great to use together
Visually, this is a really lovely toy to look at and to touch, with it's soft silicone feel. It's also comes in really great packaging, so ideal if you are giving as a gift to a loved one. Fantastic purple soap bar of lust
We received this toy as a freebie from LH because sexy fun and orgasms obviously wasn’t enough in their eyes and they wanted to work us harder....I don’t think this was intended as a trade for a honest impartial review but I don’t see the point in writing a review unless it is. The desire comes in a beautifully packaged box, inside the box is a rigid black case with LHs emblem proudly presented on the top. Case has 2 zips to open the case and also some cast loops allowing the zips to join and a small padlock usedin case you have nosey people in the house and like to keep your new toy locked away from prying eyes, you will have to buy your own lick though. The case also has a small hole in it that’s big enough to pop the USB to male port charging cable through, again for privacy. Opening the case you are presented with a vacuum wrapped clitoral stimulator in LH’s fantastic trademark purple. The inside of the case has a webbing sleeve on each side, one for the toy, the other for the USB cable and the detailed instruction manual. It’s these sorts of details that make LH toys so good, they obviously take pride in this one and rightly so. The vibrator is about the size of a bar of soap, it’s contoured front and back similaraly aswell and will fit perfectly in any hands, even my mole like appendages. They toy is encased in soft, smooth silicone, the underside behind the buttons has a round mirrored plastic plate which adds to the overall attractiveness of the toy. On charge the toys + button blinks on and off with a blue back light, once charged it stays on. The toy has various modes that you change via the central button and a + & - to turn it on and off and also change intensity of vibrations. The buttons are well placed and easy to use during play. The charger port is surrounded with self sealing silicone which keeps the toy waterproof. So far, I can confirm that it is. This toy can be quite subtle on lowest setting but also has plenty of power behind it on the highest + setting. At the same time the toy is relatively quiet, vibrations are quite powerfully directed through the tapered end of the Desires tip. Although this toy is shaped for clitoral stimulation in mind it’s multi purpuse and can be used to brush against sensitive or ticklish areas of the body of man or woman rather than turning it on, pulling the goggles down and going straight for the clit. I can happily hold the desire in 2 fingers and my thumb, leaving a hand to stroke her body with, and 2 fingers to judge pressure or hold labia apart. The tapered end also fits well in the entrance to the vagina and other sensitive areas such as perinium and anus. I rate toys like these using the toe curling and Oh! Scales. This toy definately created a positive toe curl from my wife when used and the Oh! Wasn’t far behind. For us it isn’t an orgasm maker but it was definately an enhancer both for foreplay and during penetrative sex and it was great to use on both of us during oral and body licking, nibbling & kissing. I probably would not have bought this toy initially, not because there is anything wrong with it but because we liked the idea of a sonic clitoral pulsator. Upgrade on bullet
My wife and I have used a few different vibrators during our relationship and our favourite had been a bullet vibe for a long time. We were looking for an upgrade that would give a choice of vibration patterns and would be easier to use whilst making love. So far we have been really pleased with this toy. The super soft silicon feels great and much more tactile and intimitate than either our hard plastic bullet or older silicon rabbit. The device charges quickly and I love the idea that I can just plug it into my phone charger via USB rather than worrying about a range of batteries. We usually pop it onto charge after we use it and it always seems ready to go the next time we reach for it (which has been quite frequently). We both love the shape, it sits in a pair of kinckers well building arousal, can be held comfortably by either of us during foreplay and is discrete and ergonomic when we are using it to supplement intercourse. There is a whole load of programs and speeds to choose from and we have found it can be a bit overwhelming making a decision in the moment but we have rarely needed more than half the speed. At low speeds the vibe is quiet. I have sometimes slipped into bed and been unaware my wife is warming up! I am not a great fan of the carry case, its a bit too chunky and cumbersome for me but we brought it for orgasms not packaging and on the front it has delivered every time. We have also both sometimes the buttons tricky to locate in the dark, or even worse have pressed the wrong one at a vital moment. I guess we will learn to use it better with more practice. Spot On
The quality and presentation of the vibrator was way beyond my expectations, but I think the most telling review was my wife's reaction. Until no she has little interest in toys and they have been discarded after minutes, if not seconds. Not with this one, with seconds she was relaxed and taking control and enjoying when the toy took her, we are converts and will defiantly be looking to expand our range. Love the case it comes in, it even has a hole to run the charging cable though while it is discreetly locked away. Feels great quality and perfectly contoured for hours of fun.
Desire by name, Desire by nature
The Desire range is amazing and this clit stimulater is a brilliant starter. My hubby has been adding to the collection which now includes the love egg, G-spot vibrator and Santa put a remote control knicker vibrator in my stockings! Little gem
I / we've been using this little gem of a toy for a while now and can honestly say its worth purchasing. It does exactly what you'd expect, easy to use, easy to clean and definitely gives the desired results! I would say though that I'm not sure it lasts as long as it should before having to recharge it but then again when its on full speed for quite some time for lots of play then it'll need recharging for sure!
Would be the perfect toy if the vibrations were less buzzy
So here’s my dilemma. I’ve been searching for the perfect pebble shaped vibe, but the Je Joue Mimi buttons drive me to distraction and I’m not willing to pay around £100 for a plastic toy (looking at you Lelo). I thought this toy could be the one, but unfortunately, the vibrations of this toy don’t work for me. So sad, as it’s perfect in every other way. Looks & Packaging I think the toy itself is pretty and I love the shape of it and the cute little Lovehoney logo on the silicone. The colour is lovely, it’s a rich shade of purple and the gunmetal coloured plastic part gives it a really luxurious finish. The outer packaging is simple but sophisticated, just a cardboard box with a picture of the toy on one side. As with all Lovehoney brand packaging, there are no tacky images so delicate eyes like mine won’t be offended! I absolutely love how this toy comes with it’s own little storage case (which is like a mini version of the regular Lovehoney storage cases). It has a little mesh pouch in one side and a smaller one with an elasticated strap on the other, so there’s plenty of space to store your toy, charger and instruction manual. One of the best things about the case is that it has a hole in it for the charging cable to go through, so your toy can be safely tucked away while charging - genius! I wish that the most expensive brands like Lelo and Je Joue would take note, a proper, roomy storage case is just so much more useful than lots of fancy cardboard packaging. Material: This toy is made of silicone feels smooth, high quality silicone that’s as good as the silicone used for the most expensive toys. It’s feels silky and luxurious and it’s completely seam free, so it feels amazing against your skin. It’s a rigid toy, but it has just enough squishiness to cushion it and it feels much nicer to use than a hard plastic toy. Charging: This toy comes with a USB charger which is great, as it’s very easy to use - you just pierce the self-healing silicone with one end and plug the other end into your computer. I much prefer this to the fidly magnetic chargers that come with some luxury toys. Buttons: The buttons are so easy to use - just press and hold the plus button to switch on, the minus button to switch off or both to travel lock. The plus and minus buttons control the speed and the middle button controls the patterns. It's very easy to press them and find which one you need without looking. Vibrations Everything was going so well, but then when I used it, our love affair ended. I just didn’t like the vibrations and I flinched when the toy touched me. The vibrations are quite buzzy, and if there’s one ting I can’t tolerate it’s buzziness - I only enjoy deep, rumbling vibrations. It was so disappointing, as it had the potential to be the ultimate pebble toy. This toy comes with 5 different speeds and has a lot of power. However due to the buzziness, even the lower speeds were uncomfortable for me to use and the two highest speeds felt sharp and a bit painful (even through clothing). Patterns: This toy comes with 8 different patterns which are: 1. Constant speed 2. Slow pulsations 3. Medium speed pulsations 3. Fast pulsations 4. Long buzzes in rapid succession 5. Fast ascending buzzes 6. Long ascending and descending buzzes 7. Short ascending and descending buzzes 8. 3 short buzzes followed by 2 long buzzes Patterns 5, 6 and 7 felt pretty much the same to me, but the patterns are good and you get plenty of variety with this toy. Sadly they were no use to me though, as I couldn't get past the buzzy vibrations. Noise: I’d say this is a fairly quiet toy. When the house was empty and silent, I switched it on, put it on the bed (uncovered by a duvet) and went outside the room and closed the door over. On the lowest settings I couldn’t hear anything at all, however on the highest settings I could still hear the buzzing even when it was covered with the duvet and I had music on. To be fair though, it wasn’t very loud and I was specifically listening for it so unless the people you live with are extremely nosy, you should be fine. Overall: I love the look of it, how it charges, the storage case, the material, how easy it is to work - everything except the vibrations! If only this toy had the same deep, rumbly vibrations of the Je Joue Mimi it would be absolutely perfect.

I desire a little more power
I ordered the Lovehoney Desire Luxury USB rechargable Clitoral Vibrator, shortly after recieving the Lelo Nea2, so I will draw some comparisons between the two. It was delivered in a plain brown box, and inside the Desire vibrator is packaged in a grey box with purple trim and a picture of the toy on the front. Inside the outer box, you will find a hard black travel case with a lockable zip fastener. I unzipped the case and discovered the vibrator, the charging cable, and an instruction book. Before you can get down to play, you will need to charge the toy. Simply insert the charging pin into the base of the vibrator and plug the other end into your laptop or any USB charging point. (I use my iPad charger). It takes about one and a half hours to charge, and this should give you an hour of playtime. To turn the vibrator on simply press the plus button. The first vibration mode is a constant vibration. To change the vibration mode press the centre button, and skip through the patterns to find one that suites you, (there are 7 patterns and a constant vibration mode). Each and every vibration mode can be adjusted in terms of intensity. Each setting starts somewhere in the middle of the intensity range and can be turned up or down very easily. This enables you to taylor your pleasure. On the maximum intensity the vibrations are good but not powerful enough for me. Not as powerful as the Lelo Nea2. Having said that, the intensity of the Desire is fully adjustable in each vibration mode, which is not possible with the Leol Nea2. The Desire is also slightly larger than the Nea2 and a little more easy to hold onto when lubed up. The Desire is made from silicon, with a small gun metal plasic area on the back, while the Nea2 is made from ABS plastic. So no direct comparison here. Both toys are waterproof. The Desire is very easy to clean as its waterproof just spritz a little sex toy cleaner, rinse and dry. The Desire is made from silicon so a water based lube is the one to use. By far the most unique thing about the Desire is its hard travel case. The case is zip fastening and has loops for a lock to be fitted (although no lock is provided). The case also has a small hole through which the charging cable can be threaded, for completely discrete charging. If your a lady that likes to be in complete control of the intensity, of the vibrations of your clitoral vibrator, then the Desire is perfect for you. If like me your a power queen, it's worth considering the Lelo Nea2 (although this is considerably more expensive than the Desire).
Great little clit vibe
This is a nice little clit vibe. It has all the features I look for. There's nothing I wish it had that it doesn't. The first time I used it, I achieved 3 orgasms in a matter of minutes so, I certainly can't complain there. I would say that it could stand to be a bit more powerful. I'm not sure power queens would be satisfied by this vibe but for those who prefer more gentle to moderate vibration, this vibe is perfect. The silicone has a nice silky feel. I love how the buttons operate. It's great that there is a third button for the patterns since I don't like patterns, it's less likely I'll accidentally put the vibe into that mode. The hard-sided case is really nice. I might actually use it for other vibes sometimes. But the Desire Clitoral Vibe fits in there just fine with room for the charging cord and maybe a very small bottle of lube. The hole in the case for the charging cord is very smart and it has a double zipper so it can be locked. There's really not much I'd change about this vibe except to make it a little more powerful but it easily gets the job done for me as it is.
A delicious and desirable massage
Being part of Team Lovehoney means that I get to work on some great projects - there is not a day when there isn’t something interesting on my desk! But the Lovehoney Desire range piqued my interest unlike a collection of toys has before and I knew when they were launched, I would be keen to try the clitoral vibrator. There has been so much thought and time go into this collection and one of my favourite aspects of the range is the beautiful packaging and the luxury toy case that the products come in. I absolutely love that this is USB rechargeable and I can charge my vibrator discreetly due to the handy hole at the back of the case to slip the charging cable through to plug into the toy - genius! I appreciate the extra space in the case for a sachet of lubricant or a small bottle of toy cleaner too. The toy itself feels very smooth and is made of a luxurious silicone. I am not usually a fan of silicone toys as I find they attract dust and fluff but this is so smooth, easy to clean and keep clean. I found you had to press down quite firmly on the buttons to scroll through the functions and patterns but this was not too much of a problem. And I agree with other reviews, it's definitely a quiet toy and cannot be heard from behind a closed door or under a duvet on it’s highest setting. In regards to the speeds and patterns, I am not convinced that this toy possesses 12 speeds. It has speeds ranging from a light-rumbly vibration to a superbly-powerful one, but I can only identify 6 different speeds in this toy. There are definitely 8 different patterns but despite pressing the buttons multiple times, I can only seem to cycle through 6 speeds. However, I like the speeds that I can feel and I really like that I can keep the speed the same and then adjust the patterns within that speed. I can keep the speed the same but experiment with the patterns without ‘losing my place in the race’. The first time I used the toy, I wasn’t sure whether it was for me as I prefer more direct stimulation, like the kind from the tip of a bullet vibrator. But after trying the vibrator again, that’s when I realised where the magic is in this toy for me. When holding it in the right way with firm pressure, I could achieve the precise stimulation that I like but if you use the curved underside against you, oh my! It turns this toy into an incredible clitoral massager. This product is capable of being so much more than a, powerful and gets you there in 10 seconds flat, kind of toy. Holding it in this way provides a delicious massage that you could only get from a luxury toy. It has a great way of building you up to the finish line (and it’s very, very good when you get there!) but it gives you enough time to really enjoy the patterns and speeds it has to offer. So in answer to my own question - are vibrations just vibrations regardless of their price point and would I be able to feel a difference? While I need to try out a few more toys to know for sure, I do know that I will be choosing to use my Desire Clitoral Vibrator over any of the other clitoral vibrators I own from this point going forward. It’s truly a versatile toy depending on what you are looking for. If you want less intense vibration, it’s got it. If you want super speeds, it’s got that too. And then a whole load of patterns within all that to try. I would recommend this product to anyone who is new to vibrators and wants to try a discreet toy for clitoral stimulation but is perhaps is put off by the pointed or phallic-like shape of other vibrators. It’s a thumbs up from me!

We’ve bought a number of Lovehoney’s self-branded products in the past and have always been really impressed with the quality so were really keen to see how the Desire Clitoral Vibrator performed. The first impression that we got from the outer packaging was really good, the box art is simple and classy and makes it very clear that this toy is intended as a luxury item. On opening the box, the toy itself comes in a high quality case. I can’t stress enough how nice this is, especially in comparison to the storage pouches that come with even some of the more expensive toys we’ve had. There’s space in the case for the toy and charger lead, and you could even keep some sachets or a small bottle of lube in there – great if you want to put it in your luggage for a weekend away. As testament to Lovehoney’s eye for detail, there’s also a small hole in the side of the case you can pull the lead through for discrete charging. That’s not to suggest that you’d want to hide away this toy as it looks pretty damn stylish. The overall shape looks like a smooth pebble (albeit a slightly angled one) and the soft silicone material makes it feel really nice to move around in your hand. The silicone’s well finished with no rough seam and the shiny section on the underside contrasts nicely and, again, supports the high quality feel and look of the toy. The deep purple is always a winner as it’s my OH’s favourite colour. Charging is easy and the light indicator that shines through the silicone makes it easy to see when it’s ready. In use, the Desire Clitoral Vibrator has well defined intensities from a gentle tickle up to really powerful vibrations. Between the power settings and the different vibration patterns, there’s something to suit whatever kind of mood you’re in. My OH’s used it for quick sessions on her own and we’ve used it together for relaxed play and it’s delivered amazing orgasms every time. The natural shape of the toy makes holding it during use a real pleasure and the angled end makes it easy to deliver the vibrations exactly where you want them. Luxury at affordable prices indeed
First of all I want to say the complete Desire luxury range looks fantastic and affordable prices to. My oh said this collection could possibly provide something for everyone to enjoy. The clitoral vibe arrived in the usual brown outer box inside you have the desire outer packaging which is very simple purple and white with images of the vibrator. This doesn't need to be anything special because once you open this you see a small luxurious lockable storage case. Yes a storage case. Throw away the outer packaging because you just know that this toy has a very luxurious home for its entire life. Not a drawstring bag but an actual case at that. It's even lockable. Unfortunately a lock isn't present but I know you can purchase a small luggage padlock from most supermarkets so you can indeed lock this from prying eyes. Once the Zips are closed together you will see the loops for the padlock. This isn't the best bit, there is actually a small hole on the side of the case and this is so your toy can actually be charged whilst locked away in its little home. You can actually charge in full view knowing that this case is locked and hiding the secrets of your desire. The case itself has an impression of the lovehoney logo on it, very subtle and simple. Inside you will find the vibrator, charge lead and instructions(written in a few languages). There is even plenty of room for some sachets of water based lube even a small bottle of your favourite water based lube. The charge lead is a USB with a small male plug in pin at the other end. There isn't a 240 volt adapter with this but I usually use my phone plug to plug the USB end in to. Looking over the toy and it's hard to see where this plugs in so I suggest you read the instructions to show you the exact place to plug in. It's hard to find because the silicone is self healing which keeps the toy fully waterproof. When plugged in and pulled out you will easily see how this heals itself. Again the instructions explain how to charge and how to use. I plugged the charger in and the + button starts to flash. As soon as the light stays on permanently this is fully charged. Only took 45 mins. You can also stop this toy from accidentally switching on if you take it away with you. The travel lock mode is activated by hold both the +/- buttons together for 5 seconds whilst the toy is switched off. The light will flash once the lock is activated. To unlock just repeat the procedure. Embarrassment averted. For use it is quite simple. Keep your finger on the plus button and it fire into life at its lowest setting and on the constant vibration setting. There are 1 constant and 7 pattern settings. Each setting is then supposed to have 12 power settings. This I don't seem to be able to work out. When I press the plus button 6 times it seems to be full strength. If I then press again and again to get to 12 I notice no difference from 6. Then when I power down with the - button I press 7 times and it switches off. I just can't tell if it does or doesn't have 12 power settings. The O button scrolls through the patterns. My oh isn't really a fan of patterns but she doesn't mind these to much because you can set the strength. She gets along with patterns 5,6,7,8 but its always the constant that is her go to. As for strength she finds that 3&4 are the best for her so whether this toy goes to 12 or not is inconsequential. At about 5&6 she says the vibrations become too sharp rather than her preferred strong deep rumble. 3&4 provide her with this. She does indeed love using this. The fact it sits nicely in her palm and the leaf shape with vibrations pinpointed at the tip allows her to easily locate where suits her clitoris best. The metal part really isn't necessary as it still would have a luxurious feel as 100% silicone. The vibrator is one of the quietest we have. The lower settings are almost whisper quiet. Behind a door you will certainly struggle to hear this on the highest setting. Now the thing about this toy for us is that my oh has claimed it for her own time. She doesn't want me to use this on her. Allow me to explain, we have a wand which we love using together. We have g-spot vibes, vibrating cock rings, sleeves, male masturbators etc etc which we use together but because this is a small neat package with its own case, security and the ability to charge when locked it is very personable for her. The vibe is small, pinpoint accurate and waterproof she can use it anywhere anytime with little fuss. I'm happy she has her own toy and I'm happy that she has picked this because it's suits her. When the Lovehoney Desire turned up, I have to say I was instantly impressed with it. The packaging is just beautiful and differs a lot to usual Lovehoney branded packaging. The outer purple cardboard box looks sleek and stylish. The design of the packaging is quite minimal, however it's really lovely. What I really loved about the packaging of the Desire was when I opened the outer packaging to discover a beautiful storage case, protecting not only the vibrator but also the USB charging chord. I really liked this addition, the storage case is a Lovehoney zip able storage case, which is perfect for keeping your toy safe, keeping prying eyes away from it, and is also perfect for traveling. The good thing about this storage case is it not only has room to store both your vibrator and charger, but would also be able to house other items too (again great for travel) such as lubricants and sex toy cleaner. The case doesn't have a lock included, however if you wished to do so you could purchase a padlock separately, as the zip does have curves at the end making it lockable Coated in velvety smooth silicone, the Desire reminds me a lot of the We-vibe Touch, the general palm sized shape. On the front of the vibrator, there are three buttons; the + button switches on the vibrator (hold in for a few seconds) and it also increases the speed of your desired setting, the - button switches the Desire off and also decreases the speed which ever setting you're using and finally the (o) button located between the + and - button scrolls through the 8 different settings, simply press the button to change to your preferred setting. At the back of the vibrator there is an ABS panel, honestly, I'm not sure why this is there - I think it's purely for decorative reasons, I'd much prefer it if it were made of out silicone in its entirety. Before using the Desire you will need to put it on charge, mine arrived fully depleted of battery life. To charge simply push in the charger in to the base of the vibrator, and then plug it in to your PC or a wall to USB converter (not included). Initial charge time takes approximately 90 minutes, which gives you 60 minutes of play time. Whilst on charge the + button will flash a blue light, once this light becomes static the toy is fully charged. In use this vibrator is pretty powerful, I'd say it's slightly more powerful than the Lelo Mia 2, not by much though (I've not tested this as my Mia is wasn't available, so it's from memory), the vibrations from the Desire are quite buzzy, and due to it being powerful they do travel down to your hand. This isn't a huge issue unless the vibrator has been used for a while, as it then starts to irritate the hand. I found that the + button can be a bit hard to press and does need a firm push. Ideally I wish that the vibrations were the deep rumbling vibrations that I prefer, however I found that due to the power behind the buzzy vibrations I was able to reach orgasm whilst using this toy; it just took longer than usual to do so. I was quite surprised by the noise level on full power, as it's not overly noisy and wouldn't be heard when used under the duvet in a shared house. I do like the Desire Clitoral vibrator, it's beautifully made, waterproof and the packaging is perfect (Ideal if it's being gifted) - I'm looking forward to trying other items within the Desire line.
