Better than expected
I’ve wanted this for a while but let the reviews help me decide that it would be safe and comfortable. I’m 55kg(f) and although the straps do dig into your legs a bit after time, it’s not uncomfortable. Definitely recommend working out how to get in and out before you’re in the moment. We got better and quicker at that. Also we used it on a door where we’re pulling against the frame, not just against the lock and handle for safety.
The position and height you can get in this is incredible. This position was always a struggle for us as he’s tall and it’s a lot of work to be held up so this takes all the weight off and we’re away.

Received this as a house warming gift and was quick to put it to use. It was easy to figure out and very sturdy once attached over the door.
I do recommend using it on the outside of the door so the weight doesn't swing the door open landing you on the floor. The door set yo was a bit of an issue for us as this meant we had to use it in our hallway rather than our bedroom and with a small child on the loose it was not easy to find the time to use it (this was a door problem rather than a swing problem).
The leg loops are comfortable but it takes time to find the right fit. Height is adjustable which is amazing and definitely a perk as positioning was minimal effort meaning sex lasted longer and was more enjoyable.
Only down side was there was no padding on the handles which I would have preferred as it can be quite rough on your hands and wrists holding on, but ultimately thats probably a preference thing.
It also rolls up discreetly to be stored away, would be ideal if it came with a storage bag.

Very disappointed
We were very excited to try this. Out of the packet it was great quality and sturdy. The instructions however seem to be for a different/earlier model. The same straps no longer come down enough to allow the swing to support my wife’s weight. They are now just a few inches from the top and seem to be only useful as handles, instead of being able to hook your arms through them to support they upper body.
In reality, with the straps near the knees, my wife would slip down the door if she let go of the handles. With the straps a little higher up her leg, allowed her to let go of the hand straps, but tilts the pelvis downwards making access almost impossible.

The door sex swing is our first swing but not our first bondage device. We want to do a full swing but are limited like many couples. We really wanted something to just make some positions more accessible and involve some light bdsm. This swing does a good job.
It is relatively comfortable but is not meant for long sessions. The straps are wide but if you put your weight on them it does dig in, enter the hand grips. They are just loops of the strap but can be used to hold yourself up. We also have used them standing as a bondage point. It is definitely a little bit of a workout keeping yourself up.

When the door is a knocking
It is a great door swing for the price but you do lose out on some features. We originally bought this as we didn't have the means to have a proper swing, something a lot of couples face. It is a great work around. We definitely recommend following the instructions of using a door that locks. It is a safety precaution in case the door decides to open mid-session and we learned the hard way.
For what it lacks, it isn't the most comfortable thing and you really can't put your full weight on it. My wife and I are both under 150 pounds and found the straps dug-in unless we actively were pulling ourselves up. So it worked well for shorter sessions or when the partner supports some of your weight.
It also is not a real bondage swing. There are no built-in ways for restraint like on some swings, but that is okay since we don't like being in it for a very long time. We have found that using the hand straps alone can be fun and used for bondage.

We hadn’t experienced using a swing before and decided on this one as it’s not a permanent fixture that can easily be hid away so as not to get too many questions from the kids.
We had read the reviews before hand so started by using the swing in foreplay without the clambering about and spoiling the mood. As the legs are individually fully adjustable we were able to begin with just using it as a restraint to the door…also enough give to be able to turn round and face the door while still restrained at the hands and legs…once back facing forward…up on the tiptoes for some more teasing….one leg up for awhile before fully up. So no ruined moment getting fully in. Once up and in position it can feel a little uncomfortable and could probably do with a bit of padding but was bearable and kind of added to the experience. After the goal was reached for both parties thankfully at same time, the extent of the workout became apparent, trying to get out when we both wanted to collapse was really not easy although rather funny but I would have been thankful for some sort of quick release function. Make sure your door can handle the weight!
I use this on my solid wood doors only and make sure the lock and hinges are sturdy. With that being said, it's a very fun swing. If I think we're gonna be having a long time on it, I like to wedge a little padding between the thigh loops and their thigh to give extra comfort, as it can get a bit uncomfortable after a while in that position. Overall it's great for easy penetration with the adjustable height and a very fun experience.

I’m 5’2” and 125 lbs and this product just doesn’t work for us. Getting in the right position was difficult and it was very uncomfortable to stay in the position. It kinda hurts after a while and there’s just no support other than your thighs. It is good quality, durable straps, feels sturdy. It just digs into your skin and you really need to hold yourself up to make it less painful on your thighs.

We opted for this product as it didnt need any permanent anchoring into ceilings such as full swings. However, we soon realized that we had few doors we could use it on. It doesn't feel very sturdy on new hollow-core doors. This isnt a knock on this specific product, but this product type.

This is a great design to bring a simple sex swing into a modern home, but sadly it’s not yet given us that full sex swing experience. There maybe better experiences with the more attempts we make in it’s use.
Wife - I found it really hard to get into and needed my body weight to be supported by my husband to get into and then try and lift / tighten the straps into position. The material of the straps was also not very comfy or forgiving so cut into my skin and became painful before we even started. The time it took kind of then took the fun out the moment, but I want to keep trying to see if more experience in its use will make it easier.
Husband - The experience of how I imagined is not how it’s played out so far. It is difficult to get into and could see it was not comfy for my wife and seems to be missing support for the bum area and some comfy support under the legs.
In summary the swing is great value ( we purchased during offer/ deal of the day so got half price) and well made / secure. Needs some comfort adding to the seating area and over time hopefully we will master the door swing experience. We will further update / review if things improve.

It is with regret that I have to admit I'm not a fan of this product, my wife found it a bit cumbersome to get into a a tad discomfortable when she was on it , it seemed to be missing some support under her buttocks.

Excellent quality and very easy to set up as others have said it can be tricky to get in and out of. We found the easiest way was to put one leg through and slide harness all the way up to groin then put other leg through. Once done the person in the sling can take the weight off their legs using the hand loops and the other person can adjust the leg loops to a more comfortable position.
So that's the boring stuff :- We loved this product ! I'd put the wife in and use additional handcuffs so she couldn't move her hands once in a comfortable position. Effective budget swing
Me and my gf got this on a whim. Its very easy to put up and it does work to a point.Things worth mentioning are that its difficult finding a position in the leg strap that doesn't hurt. The hand holds are small and high up. If they were big and low enough to put your arms through so your upper arms are supported and able to grab the strap with your hand you could take more weight on your arms and relieve pain and weight on leg straps.Apart from that if you find a position for your legs that don't hurt then they become very usable indeed and a very nice change to sex on the bed or standing up.Its a bit undignified getting in and out of them as its a bit awkward but practice would improve your elegance at getting in and out.If you want to try a swing but not spend too much go for it. But if you're positive you like it and will do it often, spend more and get something comfier.

Easy to use but can be painful

Should have bought one with a seat
Bought this as a starter over the door swing, but really wish I'd bought one with a seat between the leg straps. The lack of the third point really limits what you can do and makes adjusting more difficult. Additionally, I didn't feel very secure, like one over-enthusiastic move would have me dropped to the floor injured.
Great couples toy, needs more padding
Ok so mundane bit first the setup is pretty easy all told. Put the straps through a door, shut the door, lock the door, lengthen the straps. Brilliant. Getting someone into it... This is a bit more tricky, especially if you can't take your partners weight or they can't hold their own. After a few goes I would say the advice on the leaflet is pretty good, get them in and stood on the floor then lift the legs one at a time and get them to pull on the arm straps to help out. This is where you hit the first issue though, the leg straps are nicely padded and comfortable. The arm/wrist straps are not and if you take much weight through them you risk visible and potentially painful burns or even little cuts. For some this might not be and issue, but doing a school run with bruised or damaged wrists gives a very bad impression. Once in position though, wow. The ease of movement was greater than I had expected with a door behind and the situation/ positioning has been a great turn on for us both. With our first use I had to stop and go and get a towel, now I just always know I need one if this is going to be involved.

The leg restraints are quite thin and were cutting in to my skin, and the hand holds also hurt when I gripped tightly onto them.. so I knew we'd need to make it more comfortable before we even thought about using it properly. I had an idea of using seat belt pads to cushion it a little more, so after a quick trip down to Halfords, we tried again and it immediately felt much more comfortable with the pads on. It might be a little fiddly, and can be uncomfortable it's a nice little gadget. Definitely a welcome addition to our collection. And as for the sex... It definitely made oral and vertical play so much easier and lots of fun. 😜 Wouldn't use it every day but definitely can't wait to try it again!
Nice to add a bit of spice
This item was bought for me as a gift. I was doubtful when this arrived as even though I have always wanted to try a sex swing and even just upright sex I wasn’t convinced that this would support me or look in the least bit attractive with a plus size lady hanging in it but hey what’s the worst that can happen ? Even if it goes wrong it’s going to give me and the OH some laughs. So my OH sets everything up which looks really simple you just pop the little plastic tubes and straps over the door then close it. The leg straps are very long but once your legs are inside them you can hoist your legs up and you shoot up off the ground. Getting one leg up high was easy it was the second one that was the issue , I have no upper body strength so ended up needed to prop myself up on a chair then getting hoisted up haha. Once I was all in and adjusted to the right height I found it very comfortable , you have to pull yourself up a little bit but you’re mostly supported by your legs in the straps. I really liked how this felt and after a few minutes I wasn’t worried it was going to break or pull the door down. Haven’t had sex in it yet we will save that for another time but I’m looking forward to when we do :D
Great addition
My wife and I really enjoyed this swing. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to add something new to the bedroom. Allows for deep penetration and great to tease her as she was strapped in!! We will definitely be using again. The only downfall was the wrist/hand straps caused a bit of pain as they dug in.
Sex and workout in one
Once out of packaging we were a little lost at how to use it but as soon as we got it onto a sturdy door it was easy to use. Definitely a core work out and had to practice my balancing skills but once in place it was perfect and fun to use!
Swinging fun
My wife asked me to buy this as she really wanted to try a sex swing. The item arrived and I fitted it straight to an internal door. I found that a door with a bolt or bolts help take any vertical strain on the door. I also put two door wedges under the door and it felt completely secure. My wife got in the swing with a little lift up from myself. Although not in restraint my wife stated that she likes the fact that she is exposed and puts all the control in my hands. I’ve got to say penetration was challenging although it is ideal for oral and using a wand on the clit. My wife always squirts when using this so it has the desired effect.
Bit uncomfortable - but lots of fun
Purchased this about a year ago, its a fun way to spice things up and my partner also loves it. Although, I would recommend getting something padded to go under your legs- as the straps are quite uncomfortable. Easy to adjust the straps and is very easy to hide away.

Couldn't wait to open it
My OH and I had wanted this for a while, I thought it would be the perfect way for him to 'do me up against the wall/door'. We were so excited when we finally ordered it, it arrived the next day which we love. We couldn't wait to open it and get going with it. It was easy to set up, but unfortunately it just wasn't what we thought, and after numerous tries and different attempts we just can't seem to relax and enjoy it like we thought we would. It just hasn't turned out to be the amazing experience we wanted, which is such a shame because we both really wanted it and were both looking forward to it so much. This is the first LH product we haven't enjoyed and we are gutted.

Lots of fun
It took a little bit of trial and error to get the position right but once we had it this thing was a lot of fun. Good for a core workout
I got this as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and we decided to try it out that night. It was our first time trying a swing so it took a while to figure it out. Not recommended unless you are a professional gymnast
Passion killer to say the least. Trying to get in position was a workout in it's self and it didn't feel that secure although it actually was. The straps were extremely uncomfortable cutting into my thighs that it took all the pleasure out of it. Used once as it should be used, not a total loss as we had fun making use of the straps for other bedroom play!
Great for easy access
My husband was very keen to try this. I'm a very short girl so we always struggle to get me high enough. This swing helped us to position me better. It's easy to attach to the door. I needed his help to get into the swing. You need to have strength to hold your own body weight as its hard going on your arms and hands.

Ace for Beginners
Bought this as a first try of sex swings - and its definitely one for beginners. Although the legs are padded and comfortable for a bit, if you want a long session it would definitely be better to get one with a strap to sit on That being said for the price it is really, really good (most other sex swings are far more expensive) and gets the job done! Doesn't mark doors in any way and can easily be put away so as not to arouse suspicion

Great fun when you want something a bit different
I was looking forward to trying this door swing out, we’ve got a similar one already so was looking forward to see how it would compare. The straps were simply packaged in a transparent pack with an instruction sheet, nothing too fancy but it does what it needs to. On taking the straps out of the pack, we found they were well put together. They’re well stitched with no signs of any loose points that can start to come apart so it looks like they’ll last us a good while. The Perspex bars at the top of the straps are well made and well attached which gives a good amount of confidence you’re not going to have an incident with a strap coming free of the door. The straps were really easy to put in place, one they were popped over the door and the door was shut and locked, we were ready to go. My OH didn’t have too much trouble getting into the swing, she just stood with a leg in each bottom loop and she lifted her leg as I pulled the straps to raise her up. This part was quite a laugh as I hoisted her up, it’s not something you could just switch to quickly from being in bed but it definitely didn’t kill the mood for us. One thing I was slightly disappointed with was the upper loops weren’t at the end of long straps as shown in the instruction sheet. Instead, they’re attached directly to the main straps quite close to the top. They were entirely useable with my OH supporting herself with her wrists but the fact that you can’t use them over your arms means there’s more weight put on the leg straps than there would otherwise be. This isn’t a problem unless you’re planning more of a marathon session but it was the one element that I think could have been better. In use, the sex was great. I really enjoy this position but don’t have the upper body strength to lift and hold my OH up for more than a couple of minutes (that’s down to me, not her). We really enjoyed incorporating a little light bondage and teasing as well, as her hands were busy helping support her there was a fun element of restraint. All in all, I think this a good product and it's a lot of fun to use. It’s great for those occasions where you’re feeling pretty energised and fancy something a bit different.
Disappointed
My girlfriend and I have wanted a sex swing for ages, and living in a rented flat an over the door swing is the only real option. This is the first one we've tried and it's been very unsuccessful, harder than just lifting her up against a door (which is pretty hard but doable for a few minutes!). The swing comes in plain packaging with very unrealistic illustrated instructions. To set this up you just put the plastic bars on the other side of your door and shut it. In the illustration the arm loops/holds come quite far down, much further than the tall couple need. In reality they are only a couple of inches away from the top of the door and this distance cannot be adjusted, not exactly ideal for my 5"3 girlfriend and 5"7 me. Next, my girlfriend put her legs through the leg hoops and I lifted her up while adjusting the difference between the arm and leg hoops. It's very hard to get them just right, and once they were the arm loops were only usable as something to uncomfortably grab on to as they were too high up. You would need to be he same height as your door for this to actually work. In use it really didn't take any of the work off. The thigh loops are also just a nylon strap and they badly dug into my 50kg girlfriend. They're is plenty of room in them but they are just not comfortable. The swing was very strong and sturdy, just completely useless and uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

We’ve all seen it in films and in television programs haven’t we? A couple going hard at it up against a wall, without a struggle or a care in the world. The Bondage Boutique Over the Door Sex Swing could be the answer to your problems - It’s very reasonably priced and is super easy to set up, all you need is a sturdy door to use it on - I’d recommend an internal door, I’m not sure your neighbours would appreciate the floor (door) show! Simply pop the two acrylic barbells over the door and close to secure. The person to be raised then positions the very roomy neoprene straps around the thighs, and with the help of the other person and the straps attached near the top of the ‘swing’, they hoist themselves up into position and are ready for some door-based action. Sounds good doesn’t it? Well it is good, I mean it’s not perfect, but what do you expect for £35? It’s well made and seems very sturdy. The straps are capable of withstanding 140kg/22st in weight, and are adjustable to allow for any height issues you may have. Getting into it isn’t a pretty sight though, and you’re probably not going to want to use this with someone you’re not totally confident with or someone who you wouldn’t want seeing your wobbly bits being hauled around! The thigh straps are relatively comfortable as they’re slightly padded, but they are only a couple of inches wide, so when I say comfortable, I kind of mean functional and not unbearable. The arm straps aren’t padded, they’re made from webbing strap, a bit like rucksack straps, and they’re ok to hold, but if you put them around your arms, they can rub a little, but it’s not too bad. It feels a bit strange calling this a swing, we have a sex swing, and it’s nothing like this. These are two totally separately straps which aren’t joined together at all. You need to have a certain amount of core body strength with these, more so getting into position initially, providing your partner is able to help take the strain off your arms during use. I think it might be a little easier if there was some kind of seat strap joining the two straps together, but it’s perfectly useable without one. Obviously, when you’re in position your range of movement is somewhat restricted, so it’s great for teasing etc, and if your partner produces something like a powerful wand vibrator, you’re not getting away from it, so it can almost cross over into being a torture swing! Sex feels good, but if you like to arch your back and expose your G-Spot more during penetration, you’re going to struggle. For me though, that’s not what this swing is about, it’s about achieving that vertical position and having fun with your lover. It’s quick, easy, strong and good value. Certainly worth exploring in my opinion, just make sure your doors are up to the job first!
Not for us
I've always been intrigued with sex swings so when this became available to test I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately I did find it a little disappointing. Firstly the packaging is pretty good, simple and tidy, a fairly small packet to say how big this is, it could easily hide away at the bottom of a draw or under the bed. The swing is trapped in the door with two plastic cylinders, they're quite small and move about in the fabric so I was worried the wouldn't be able to support me, but there were no issues and the fabric is very strong and well sewn, certainly very durable. The leg straps are enormous, I can't see anyone struggling to fit into them, I have pretty big thighs and there was room for two of me. The issue I had was that it felt very awkward, I'm not entirely sure if I got into it correctly but from the instructions it seems you keep the leg straps loose and step in, then hoist yourself up, I'm not exactly light so needed OHs help, not the best foreplay in the world! Although the straps are padded I felt very uncomfortable with all my weight pressing into two 2inch straps. My legs are flabby and it looked awful where the straps were displacing my cellulite, it looked like when butchers wrap pork in string and the fat is bulging out then you take the string off and there's still dents where the string was...sexy! We also found it, sadly, a little boring, there's really only position we could do (me sat in the straps, him stood) and it weren't particularly pleasing for either of us. Having my back against the door meant I couldn't lean back so OH had no chance of hitting my g spot Honestly, the fantasy was better than the reality, I think part of the problem was that it's simply not our thing. But I would suggest if someone really does want a sex swing, invest in one that hooks to your ceiling, yes it's more faffing but you'll have more positions available to you. However, it may just be my weight that's the issue, I do think it would be a lot easier if I was 3 stone lighter
Swinging good time
My Oh & I couldn't wait to get this through the post, and it didn't disappoint. As is standard with an Lovehoney order it came well packaged and discreet. This is a toy that doesn't just stay in the bedroom and it's really easy to setup. Just needs a solid door and away you go. My only concern was that it needed my oh to essentially lift me into position through tightening the leg straps. However providing you have a modicum of upper body strength this won't be an issue; you will just need to bear your body weight briefly whilst your other half gets it tightened to the right level. Once set-up unlike some other swings this doesn't solely rely on a person having good upper body strength and balance. This swing has leg straps that you step into and these hold your legs up, so you're not perching on a seat with foot stirrups like some designs. However it does still need some upper body strength and balance but means you get a good core workout while enjoying mind-blowing sex, as I found myself using my core muscles more whilst in this position. Have to say it left me literally weak at the knees after a session with this. My OH loved the fact I couldn't easily object or move so took great pleasure in making sure I was thoroughly exhausted! It's great for if you like to submit control to your partner as once your in the swing you can't easily escape without assistance. The swing itself is very well made, strong straps and well padded in all the right places. The straps are easy to adjust so they should fit any door easily. Don't worry about the leg straps being too tight or small, as they have ample room and are easy to step in and out of. If you've ever been curious to try a sex swing but unsure of there ease of use or comfort? Well I would definitely recommend this product, you won't be disappointed.
