Tiny frame
On the item I received, the frames leg internally measures 15 inches / 38cms - so the person underneath needs to be SMALL to fit between the legs, let alone comfortably AND be able to move.
This will not fit the average male (average male size being a 34inch), let alone anyone bigger.
It was also difficult to put together as an individual, needed my partners assistance to stretch the elastic while I ensured the metal lined up.
The idea is there but is lacking and not inclusive even to the average size.
If I knew how small the frame was at the base, I wouldn't have purchased it.

My wife and I are 60+ years old.My has bad knees and hips. The Chair has enabled us to get back into some of the positions that were impossible to use. Although there is nothing wrong with the missionary position, the other positions make love making a whole lot more fun.
Not for us unfortunately
We found the chair fairly easy to build with two people. We have space to store it as we wouldn’t want to be dismantling it all the time so worth considering if you have storage space for it.
The max. weight states 150kg (approx. 23.5 stone) and obviously the heavier you are, the more the elastic will stretch. We’ve tested by holding different weights while sitting on the chair and, at around 18/19 stone, the elastic is very low, and I don’t think I would want it to go any lower so not sure it would work as well at the heavier weight limit.
The chair is wide enough for husband to lay underneath but can be uncomfortable after a while on his hips/ shoulders depending on the positioning.
This was bought due to disability making some positions impossible and some reviews mentioned that this works very well for other disabled people. Unfortunately, the bounce chair didn’t work a well as anticipated. It works well for oral but other positions that require more leg strength (e.g. cowgirl) are not really possible for us due to disability- this might be improved with a handle/ support bar to hold on to. Doggy style also doesn’t work for us as the bands slip apart making it difficult to get into/ stay in position- this would be made better by the two straps being connected to each other rather than relying on the foam pieces to hold them in place.
Overall, I’m sure this is a good product for others but unfortunately, as leg strength is required to make the most of it, it is not the right product for us.

If you weigh more than 120 pounds you will be sitting on the floor ;) It is a good thought but the elastic is not strong enough to support normal people. It won’t break but you will be rather uncomfortable. We returned it.
Really great for main purpose
I'll start by saying we bought this primarily for female-on-top riding position, and it is definitely great for this. Much less effort and strain on knees and back which is a huge plus.
Hubby is a tall guy with a large frame (not overweight) and found the seat to fit comfortably around his hips. I am approx 50kgs, and the straps don't stretch very low when I sit on them, however with a bit of a bounce, this is not an issue. A pillow underneath hubby would also solve this for PIV, but would need multiple pillows for oral.
As for some of the other suggested positions, they don't seem to work well for our height difference. I did find that it was useful to brace myself against, however there are other more comfortable options (bed head, foam wedges etc).
Structurally, it is well-made, definitely holds the 150kgs it says it can accommodate, and was fairly easy to put together (with two people). It would be quite frustrating to have to put it together in the heat of the moment, and pulling it apart again would be difficult. Thankfully we have somewhere to store it without dismantling. (something to consider if you have privacy concerns e.g. wanting to keep it hidden away from children).
Ultimately I think you'd have to really want this for it to be worth the cost, it definitely is for us, but comes down to individual preference. We felt confident to purchase after reading reviews and watching a video of it in use.

It's really sturdy, as a check I tried it a couple up and downs myself (180 lbs) and it was good to go. The installation is straightforward. I did the assembly by myself, but I can see that it would be much simpler done by two, one stretching it and the other person adjusting the legs to go into each other. There was a discount and I got it almost half the price, and that's a no brainer.
Height wise and width wise it's great for us, and I think it would be for a large range of weights and sizes. I say the part about easy to store by disassembly and reassembly might not be the most practical every time you want to use it. But size wise it's easy to put it in some closet with some pillows and whatnot.

Ordered this because we have tried the under bed and over door additions and this seemed the next most affordable step in our sex toy furniture adventure.
It comes in a non descript flat pack box so nice and discreet. It isn't too hard to assemble but suggest having two people for some parts to be able to 'stretch' and hold in place while things are fitted together. So it is easy to assemble but I wouldn't want to keep putting it together and taking it apart. Luckily it stores reasonably discreetly. We have it with a small cushion on top in the corner of the bedroom and it looks like a little foot stool.
This means it is available for easy access when the mood takes us. Myself and my wife are a little larger than average and once we learned to trust it found it held either of our weight well with just enough give to put the desired body parts together. It really helped us go for longer in positions that our own muscles wouldn't have held us in.
It also makes for a useful way to add extra bits of bondage with the ability to clip or tie different bondage restraints to the bars. The seat is too light to really hold someone in place but with wrist and hand cuffs we found it worked well for some light bondage play.
Once we were used to getting into position underneath we found we fit quite well, but there were some very minor bumps at first. We recommend a towel or something underneath to soak up any 'spills' . This type of apparatus has been on the list for some time. I came across it on sale, and decided to get it as a "shared Christmas gift" for me and my husband. I'm sorry I waited so long!
Because I read reviews beforehand, I knew it would take the two of us to put it together...yes, the elastic bands are so tight, you need two people to stretch them to assemble...I had to step on them and pull up on the bars while he fit the ends on. The chair is very sturdy. I'm 5x10", 200lbs I felt very secure and comfortable, the the height was good for me (leg squatting wise). The straps are wide and comfortable, and very stretchy and bouncy. The height is great for toy play...but, as others have mentioned, due to the stretchiness, you are too low for a face under you. We modified that by putting cushions under each leg...and that did the job...but something more permanent and adjustable will be made in the future.

This is a fantastic product that has done so much for my wife and I. The only improvement would be if the elastics that you sit on could be adjustable. They are very strong but depending the stretch depending on the persons weight. When I lie underneath, my wife’s “ahham” regions (yes of course we tried both Vigina and back side hole) would go down a little too far and squash my head (she’s circa size AU 16 usually) We ended up putting a book under each side leg which worked a treat.

Good chair- I bought as my wife has fibromyalgia and has almost no stamina on top. It’s very strong and well made.
Even with two people it was a challenge getting it together.
Two issues
1) The male partner needs to be slim to fit under the chair.

Bought this after reading all the other positive reviews from people suffering with some level of physical limitation. I have problematic knees, and wanted something to help me enjoy my various dildos in a new and fun way that I can't easily achieve with my problem. In general, not disappointed. It is well built, the elastic is more than strong enough to take my not inconsiderable weight, I have pretty good confidence in this not giving out on me and causing a problem. It takes a little strength and dexterity to assemble, multiple people recommended, to overcome the flex of the elastic and connect the frame parts. Two small niggles. It would be nice it the design allowed for easier assembly and disassembly, as it's quite a size assembled and not easy to store. I tend to take it apart for storage. As a stool to enhance couples play, it's pretty spot on I'm sure, but for solo play, the option of some sort of toy mount would be a boon for this, I would have happily paid more for that extra. All in all, great fun, solid and recommended.
Making things easier
Perfect for some applications, but not very versatile. It's a great product if you know what you want to use it for. The elastic parts are particularly strong which was nice, but you are unable to adjust for different heights. Overall I would recommend this product for people that may have some mobility issues, but still want to have a great time!
Best Sex Stool
I did a lot of research of sex stools before deciding on this one. A lot of the other ones sold across the internet are either thin gauge steel, or the straps are not very strong. Another problem I saw with many other sex stools is that people complain about the straps sliding across and down the frame under use. This product is made of heavy gauge steel, has 4 layers of elastic, and the foam that is in the frame prevents the straps from moving during use. My wife is 4'11 and about 175 lbs. I am 6' 180lbs with a 34 waist and with her on the stool over me it puts her at the perfect height on top of me for both oral sex and vaginal sex. Excellent (but you have to have strong legs)
I bought this chair after reading the positive reviews from others with health issues. As someone with spinal problems and subsequent nerve damage, I wanted to be able to rock my husband's world in a way I haven't been able to do since my injury. In some ways, this could very well be amazing for me: its comfortable, I can hold onto it to support myself, it takes the pressure away from my spine and the positioning feels amazing. I love that I could drive him deeper inside me and the position hits all the right spots. My husband says it feels incredible and loves me being on top again. Plus, there's something really sexy about pinning your partner under it. The height and way you sit over them makes you feel powerful and more in-control than simply straddling. However, there is one little problem that people should be aware of when buying: you must have strong legs otherwise its kind of useless except for oral (that being said...oral is very fun like this). Since my injury, I have a fair amount of muscle weakness thanks to damaged nerves and my fitness has lessened anyway because I can't be as active as before. So if anyone has similar issues or isn't that fit, you're going to struggle. The muscles in the tops of your thighs need to be strong in order to get you both "to the end" ;). Although, I will say that if you're simply unfit rather than having any health issues, bouncing on this regularly will definitely make you fitter!

What a simple but bloody amazing bit of equipment! Having always struggled being on top with my legs giving up after a few minutes, I really wanted something to help. It was really getting me down that I couldn’t stay on top for as long as I wanted to but this brilliant chair has completely changed that! It’s really simple to use and is super bouncy! Being on top is not half as difficult as it was before. It’s quite pricey but honestly, really worth it!
Bouncy stool for sex
I bought this as the OH has dodgy knees and doesn't like to go on top as it hurts to bounce. This looked to be the perfect answer. So I ordered it and when it arrived it took minutes to assemble (dead easy). It looked really good and I thought that this would be it, cowgirl all the way! I introduced it in to the bedroom and the OH looked at it a bit skeptically. I explained and she as willing to try. In principle this works really well providing support and helping take pressure off the knees. However, we found that it was a bit soft and the straps were a bit too flexible. It didn't quite give the spring back return we thought it might. Also one thing to consider is the roll of your bed too. We found the biggest issue was trying to stay upright and not roll all over the place with it. The flexibility of the bed coupled with height and mobility of the stool lead to it being a little too unstable and was more off putting than orgasmic. Its a good build and able to support a good weight, however, practically I didn't think it worked well and would be improved by a wider base and possible a stronger elastic on the straps.

Having had surgery on both knees a few years ago, my wife now has only 75% bend on her knees and her on top was a no no since then. Worth the money
I would never of spent this much money on what I previously described as just a seat, luckily my partner purchased it for us - I'm so thankful he did! It was easy to assemble, and although quite a strange object in the bottom of the wardrobe I doubt many people would be aware of what it is for if they did come across it! We both love when I am on top, unfortunately my legs dont have the required stamina. This chair enables myself to stay on top! It still requires some leg work but takes a lot of pressure off, enabling me to relax into what we're doing instead of worrying how long until my legs give out! It is very easy to put in position, feels very sturdy and supportive both on hard surfaces and on top of the mattress. I only wish we had invested in this chair a long time ago as it is opening up new positions and abilities for us both. Thankfully we didn't leave it any longer!
Handy bit of kit
Saw this but was ummming & ahhhing for a while mainly due to the price & I wasnt sure if being on the bigger side this would stand up to the test ! Read the reviews and decided to go for it ! And boy am I glad I did ! A little tricky to assemble alone so 2 pairs of hands make it easier. Its strong sturdy & I needn't have worried about if it would take my weight ! The straps are strong and lowered me to the perfect position! Face sitting was amazing , loved being fully in control and dictating the pace, hubby loved being restricted but at the same time having his hands free to play, he also loved that once sitting in position the straps spread me wider making face sitting a real treat for the eye ;) Also tried me on top which again was great! Great, for the most part
Have had it for not quite 12 months and only used it about a dozen times. One of the straight bars at the bottom that join the legs together failed. Lovehoney are replacing. It looks to me like the metal at the point of failure is quite thin/week for the amount of pressure that would be put on it.
Great addition to our collection
Received the item in 5 Days (Atlanta to California) discretely as always. The chair came 3/4 put together already. I was able to combine the two pieces without needing a second pair of hands. Ive assembled and disassembled (storage) many times by myself. It is tricky solo so I could see where another person would help. Cut to the chase. The chair is GREAT for face riding. The views amazing. Her on top is great too. The bounce coming off the heavy duty elastic straps does most of the work. If you want even deeper penetration I suggest you arch up or put a pillow under you for support. Wife and I are on the smaller scale size wise. 5'5" 120-150 I fit no problem under the chair but I could see where a bigger person would have trouble. Keep that in mind before you purchase. We've used the chair a couple times now. Looking forward to many more.

Mostly amazing
Really good concept and item, however, it had previously been assembled and possibly used as it arrived partly assembled out of plastic packaging and the foam legs on the bottom were dirty from being assembled and on a floor. Also, the foam isn't that sturdy and will slip allowing the elastic to move really far apart, meaning you often need to use your feet and hands to stabilise yourself.
It changed my (sex) life
Speedy delivery, as usual with Lovehoney. Even though the box it came in was big, it was plain and discreet. The chair came partially put together, with instructions on how to finish assembling it. It says that a strong person should do it, and that's right! We did it together with my boyfriend and it took quite some effort. Once it's put together, this chair is very robust and sturdy. It can be placed either on the floor or on the bed, as long as the mattress isn't too soft. The elastic seat is comfortably wide. It's stretchy but firm enough to allow for full control of your movements. I have lower back pain as well as sciatica down my legs, which makes many sex positions way too painful for me. Although we've found some alternative positions that work, this chair has opened up a whole new world of possibilities. It allows me to be in charge while also being comfortably seated. It can be used for receiving oral, vaginal or anal sex and your partner has enough room to use toys on you at the same time. I can also seat on it, have my partner stand in front of me, and give them oral. This way I can last longer! The only drawback is that it's hard to store or hide it out of sight, unless you have a very big closet. I don't, so I have it in my room. Whenever I have visitors, I cover it with an innocent-looking pile of clothes and hope nobody will notice. Overall, it's a great quality, durable and very practical chair that has helped me improve my sex life. I think it's very much worth the money!
Nice Piece of Furniture
Wasn't really sure about buying this but went for it anyway and surprised my girlfriend with it. We both love it. It can be assembled by a reasonably strong person with a bit of ingenuity and clever footwork, and it came partially assembled anyway. It's quite discrete when assembled and could easily be mistaken for one of those things you put your luggage on. It's the business when you get down to using it. Penetration is fab but I got a bit of a sore neck getting to the right areas with my tongue. Perhaps I'll use a pillow next time. My girlfriend absolutely loves it anyway.
Overpriced and not what we expected
My partner and I had been looking at buying one of these for a while to enable us to enjoy a range of positions with a little more comfort, such as her sitting on it and my head underneath to perform oral sex on her, so her legs wouldn't get as tired squatting. Or me lying underneath and her riding me with a little extra support and bounce to avoid her legs tiring so she could enjoy it more. Another idea was for me (male) to lie on it with my head and legs supported and her milk me from underneath. However, we found we couldn't do any of the above comfortably or any better than doing those positions normally (without the chair) as the elastic sagged down too far when we got on it, providing no additional support whatsoever. Not sure if it's because we are bigger than average size (I'm 6ft 1 wear XL clothes and she is a 16/18 size, so we're not huge and we're in our late 20's/early 30s), but as soon as either of us sat on it, it sagged too low for either of us to comfortably go underneath and we were conscious of hurting each other so could never really relax and enjoy ourselves. Also, in terms of price, it is a lot of money for what is essentially some metal tubing and a few bits of elastic. We bought it with a small discount but was still £52, which would have been expensive even if it had done what we'd have hoped.
Great addition to our play
I saw this a few times and thought it looked great, then it came up in the Black Friday deals and I thought why not. It stayed in the box for a while but we finally got round to using it and it was amazing. Read the reviews & decided to add the Enhancer Chair to our collection as my wife’s knees sometimes cause her pain. It arrived in the usual plain discreet packaging - excellent delivery by LH as always. The chair is easy and quick to put together, albeit would recommend 2 sets of hands which makes it much easier. The chair is well built and well protected. The elastic is multi layered, strong and comfortable. My wife couldn’t wait to try it out - her confidence in the chair quickly building as she tried out different positions. It makes both cowgirl and face sitting a great deal more comfortable (no more knee pain) and enjoyable for both of us - particularly as I love giving oral and she loves receiving oral! When sitting on the chair, my wife loves the fact the straps naturally spread her wider - she also finds she is easily able to stimulate herself using her favourite toy at the same time - a win / win! In our opinion the chair should be suited to most people, however as the elastic straps are quite heavy duty, it may not be quite so effective for those more dainty. The chair is easy to dismantle and store, albeit we just leave it made up in a cupboard - it is also very easy to wipe down and clean. In conclusion, a surprisingly fab piece of kit that is both very practical and a great deal of fun. The position options are only limited by your imagination - the booklet could do with a few more suggestions, however a quick search on the internet revealed a whole raft of positions / uses. Amazing piece of kit

Good grief, what a find this is! Until I read other forum users saying about what a great item this was during Black Friday, I never would have thought we needed it, after all, all it does is 'assists' you to do positions that we are more than capable of doing anyway, right? Small and strong, fun to use
My wife and I were looking into sex chairs/swings and decided to get this for now, we'll get a swing in the future when we have more space. I'm fairly average strength and this chair took some effort to put together, for a minute I thought I wouldn't be able to. As a result of this we've decided to store it set up rather than disassembling each time. The instructions for setting it up also include suggested positions for use which was nice. Good bit of kit
Both me and my other or should i say better half are not small people by any stretch of imagination so at first we where both a little worried about it holding up to the weight. However it is with great satisfaction that i can say this is more then up to the job, there is not a lot of things you can't do with this,it is only your imagination that will hold you back trying new things to try. Once you get it out of the box the instructions are easy to follow and with a little bit of elbow grease it is put together is a few minutes, also include on the instruction sheet is a few ideas the chair can be used for which is never a bad thing.

Loads of positions
Struggled a bit to put it together but a great piece of equipment anyway. When I received this chair I expected it to be a new way of getting in to sex positions and possibly a few new positions to try using the chair, but after using this chair I realised it is SO much more. There is some assembly required with this chair and it isn't really easy either, I would suggest two people putting this chair together as the strong elastic does prove difficult to stretch to get the bars in place. Once this chair is in place however, it isn't going anywhere. The chair comes with a little leaflet showing a few ideas on positions you can do using this chair, however I feel like maybe a booklet with more position ideas would be better as 4 really isn't that many considering what you can do with this product. Our imaginations were set free though and we ended up in a couple of positions that I never would have thought possible for us. The strong yet durable elastic provides amazing support wherever needed and with the solid metal bars being covered in a soft foam you don't end up accidently hurting yourself. We also found that while this product is primarily used as a chair or something to lean over, on or across, it can also be used as a restraint. It can be left the right way up to restrain him or turned upside down and used as a (kind of) spreader bar from the knee to the crotch leaving the genitals exposed through the elastic. It really is a fantastic product to have to aid in experimentation. Doggy style with this chair is a breeze now and the snags we used to run in to no longer happen. I simply lean over the chair with the elastic horizontal and pop my knees under the chair. This way the elastic puts pressure on the top of my groin providing for more pleasure and the bars either side of my legs stop me from slipping down in to the splits - which is something that used to happen all the time before we started using this product. My biggest shock with this chair though was the sheer amount of support it brings to you. I feel like this product is a must have for any couple with health issues that puts a strain on their sexlives as the chair provides so much support and takes away the hard work needed in a lot of positions, even down to missionary. Whether you want this Sex Position Enhancer Chair for experimentation or to aid you in sex it is well worth the money - something that I wouldn't have thought before using this product. Bondage Boutique have really outdone themselves.
Strapping performance
I delayed writing my review on this product because there are already some fantastic reviews. I wanted to provide feedback which was different but also complimentary to the existing reviews. We were sent this item, by Lovehoney, to review. I would not normally start by saying this – but in this case all reviews have been added by testers. Seriously people, if you are thinking about this product – STOP – Just buy it! It’s the best thing you can do, and you will not be disappointed! Then come back here and tell others how much fun you had! Initially when I first looked at this my SO had been in an accident and was unable to bend one of her legs or put any weight on it. Having now tried this I really wish that I had just bought it then. Yes, it would have helped at that time – but even without any medical reason for having this, it’s added a whole new world to the sexy times. (If you are thinking about this because you have a medical condition then just skip straight down to Fluffbags' review) We are (now) both fit and healthy, I’m about 6ft, 13 stone and my wife is size 10. This is important to mention because I was initially worried that she would not weigh enough to make this unit “work”. (Actually, this was the main reason for not getting it when her leg was broken). I can assure you now that this is not a problem. My wife on her own was easily able to make this bounce around, and it easy supported both our weight when she sat on me on it. (Probably combined weight of about 20 stone). The website says that it supports a weight of up to 150KG – in real money that’s around 23 and a half stone. Postage and Packaging If you are reading this review, you will already know that Lovehoney provide an excellent postal service. Rapid delivery coupled with discrete packaging is standard practice here. Inside the Package As FoxxyFB has already said, the unit comes in a white cardboard box. The cardboard is pretty thick and strong and easily functions as a place to store this toy if you require it to be discretely hidden away. It easily fits under our bed, and isn't too heavy to go at the top of the wardrobe. Inside the box you get the frame (separated into 4 parts), foam sleeves for the frame, two elasticated straps and an instruction book. Constructing the frame Both FoxxyFB and IrishRose mention the actual construction. The video and description suggest that two people are required, but honestly the second person gets in the way. It IS hard to construct this for the first time, but I have discovered a simple process which has resulted in no pinches or swear words. I suggest practising before the sexy times. Construct the unit, as per the instructional booklet. This will result in two poles with foam on, and the two bent frames held together by the elastic straps. Place one bent frame on the ground with your feet between the two upward facing holes. Insert the poles into each of the holes and then your feet on the bent part, close to the newly inserted poles. Then grab the other half of the frame, holding the flat part close to the elastic straps and place your feet on the frame on the floor close to the straps. Lift the frame upward using your feet as resistance to the elastic, and then place the frame carefully onto the upturned poles (if there are two of you, now is the point that they can help – get them to ensure a good and straight connection – but for me it was easier to do by myself). If you get this right the poles just slide in easily as you release the pressure on the elastic, if you are not centred and straight then the poles will not engage fully and you will need to lift off and try again. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CLEAR of the ends otherwise you will get a nasty pinch. If you practice this then you can quickly put it together no problem, and taking it apart for storage is a reverse of the same process. Another word of advice is: If you are going to use this then decide and construct before the sexy times. The image of a frustrated man rushing to try and construct this with (being subtle) an extra appendage poking around in the way is apparently very funny to ladies and is a little bit of a mood killer for guys. Quality When constructed, the quality of the product is clear. It has been mentioned by all reviewers and by the video – so I won’t go on. Specifically, all metal parts are thick and don’t bend. They are covered in foam – so no cold metal on skin. Those bits of metal that escape the foam are powdercoated with matte black textured finish (again reducing the cold). The foam is thick and the elastic is strong and stitched well. They have even included a foam segment to put between the two elastic straps. The unit is not too heavy, whilst also not feeling too light (and therefore cheap). I can easily lift this unit over my head with one hand. Overall, the look and feel of the unit is much better than units that I have seen at the same price. Using the product The instructions in the booklet are, at best, suggestions. They provide a few graphics and I believe that their intention was to leave this up to your imagination. If you struggle for ideas then some Google-fu results in some interesting and different positions. There is one site (that I will leave you to find for yourself) that has over 25 suggestions with animations and pictures. (My favourite one was “Bliss Box”) Initially we both worried about using this on the bed. It doesn't look like it will work, or that it will be stable. Firstly – it was fine on the bed. Secondly, stability is over rated. My wife sat on this, saddle style and tried rocking and bouncing around. Once we were both happy that it was OK on the bed, we tried a little teasing and foreplay. This ended up with my head under the frame and my wife sitting over me. Although this position was hard to get into, this is possibly the best use of this frame I could ever suggest. I would like to go political for one second, and suggest that our current Conservative government may be unaware of the benefits of “face sitting” – and should probably invest in this chair right now. Ehem. Moving on .... The most obvious use of this chair would be lady sitting with man underneath. By holding onto the hips of your partner, you are able to draw her down (and up again) easily. It’s like moving a weightless object up and down on top of you. With you controlling your partners movement, you are easily able maintain a steady rate without either of you getting tired or losing control. I could easily go on and on about the different positions available here, but use your imagination. Thought of a position? Yes, you can do that and its better than you thought. Summary This is a fantastic product at a great price. It’s lightweight, and is easy to take apart and store. It looks good. Actually it’s very hard to find anything negative to say about it. Using this product is easy. There are a plethora of positions and options available. There are loads of examples online, and loads more that you haven’t even thought of yet. Basically, stop reading reviews now AND JUST BUY IT (you know you want to)
Is it safe to have sex on a chair? Yes
I was bouncing with delight when Lovehoney asked me to test this position enhancer chair for them, little did I know that I would quite literally be bouncing with delight, on what is possibly the best piece of sex furniture we own! I’d had a very similar (now discontinued) piece of furniture on my wishlist for a very long time. I’ve been trying to work out why I never bit the bullet and bought it, and I think it was because I worried about how safe it would feel during use, and possibly because I just saw it as a device to help with the ‘woman on top’ position. Would a one position enhancer be worth the £50 price tag? I am totally kicking myself now, because this chair is so much more than a one position device, and I really wish I’d added it to my collection a long time ago. It arrives packaged in a plain white box, similar to a box you might buy a laptop computer in. It’s a very sturdy box, and if you plan to take your chair apart for storage, it’s worth keeping hold of. Inside is an instruction booklet, which gives you details of how to construct your chair, and a few simple small drawings of positions you might like to try. The construction details baffled me a bit at first, because it details how to put your chair together from absolute scratch. In reality, our chair was mostly together, we just needed to add the two straight bars and link the ends. It’s suggested by Lovehoney that this item needs two people to build it, this isn’t because it’s difficult, but because you need to really stretch the straps of the chair to allow you to link the ends. One person assembly is doable, but it is easier with two. After constructing it, we stood back and admired our new chair. It’s made to what seems like a very high quality. The bars are all foam padded and feel very sturdy and comfortable, and because of the type of foam, they have a good grip to them. The straps are four straps thick, which makes is feel very robust and it looked and felt like it would live up to the job. I’m a curvier lady, and although I’m well under the weight limit anyway, having a pull and a good feel of the construction helped put my mind at rest. We had a little sit and bounce on it, and tried a couple of fully clothed positions on the dining room floor. My other half has very large, muscly thighs, and I wondered if him lying underneath it might be a problem, but no, with approx. 42 cms (16.5 inches) there’s plenty of room. First time use was for me a little daunting. We decided we’d try it with me on top, and on the bed. Our mattress is very deep, and we have a featherbed on top, so our bed is very high off the floor (think Princess and the Pea) and it looked like I’d be too high. In reality, when you sit on the straps, the extra weight and the softness of the bed underneath causes it to sink a bit, to a much less scary height. The gap between the straps allow for easy penetration, and you can easily reach down to get your hands involved too if you wish. I always struggle with this position normally, my thigh muscles aren’t particularly strong, so bouncing up and down is almost impossible to maintain for long. I usually end up thrusting back and forth, which works well and does feel amazing, but I’ve always wanted to be able to do it properly. Well, now I can! This chair really does make it so much easier. The straps naturally want to return to their un-stretched state, so after the downward push, they naturally assist you back up. I found it very easy to build up a rhythm, and being able to hold onto the frame of the chair was also very helpful. This also meant that my arms could take some of the strain too, making it even easier for my legs - result! Being able to use it in this way is really just the tip of the iceberg though. We also found it great for raising my hips during the missionary position, making my G-spot far more accessible during sex. It took a minute to get comfortable in this position, but it was worth it. Another use is for me to sit on the chair at the edge of the bed, I’m then able to wrap my legs around him, to achieve a position similar to sex against a wall. Obviously we needed to be careful that it didn’t fall off the edge of the bed with me still on it, but again definitely worth the effort. The movement this gives when used during sex really adds to the experience, often allowing for deeper/faster/harder thrusting, depending on the position you’re using it in. It’s also really good for oral sex, no more feeling like I’m suffocating my other half when straddling his face! You really are only limited by your imagination to be honest, and it allows you to achieve positions which were either impossible previously, or perhaps you were unable to maintain them for long. We have no plans to dismantle ours, I want it readily available! It is very easy to collapse and store though, if you need to be able to hide it away. We love it! We find it much better to use on the bed than on the floor, because you can get more of a “rock” from it on the bed, on a harder surface this doesn’t happen, if anything it just slides. Is this position chair worth the price tag? Abso-bloomin-lutely! Buy one, and bounce your way to ecstasy ...
Sex positions made comfortable and fun
I suffer from a chronic pain condition that leaves my muscles and joints feeling stiff and sore, so I am always on the lookout for new ways to both spice up my sex life and ease any associated pain. One position I really struggle with is girl on top. My thighs start to ache and my hips lock up, making this position awkward and uncomfortable for me. This has always disappointed me, because I know my partner loves this position, both for intercourse and for oral sex, so when I first laid eyes on the Bondage Boutique Sex Position Enhancer Chair, I knew I had to try it. Product Information: The position enhancer chair arrived flat packed, but was extremely easy to build, taking roughly 2 or 3 minutes to put together by hand (no tools required). The seat does not contain any frills, so it does look rather basic when complete. As they say though, sometimes it’s the simple things that are best and I couldn't find anything to complain about. The bars are padded, for comfort and the frame is reasonably heavy, offering plenty of stability and support. I weigh roughly 10 stone and am 5ft 1 inch tall, whereas my partner weighs roughly 12 stone and is 5ft 8 inches tall. Neither of us had a problem using this seat. However, on a solid surface, the gap measures 16.5 inches in width between the legs and 12.5 inches tall. This is an indication of how much room you have for a body to fit underneath. I think that if you are quite overweight, it may be difficult to slide this seat over your body. Our Experiences with the Position Enhancer Seat: The first time we used the seat, we did so on the bed. Due to the design of the legs (two long bars, as opposed to 4 pointed legs/feet) it was actually very stable. With my partner lying on his back, we placed the seat over him and I climbed on top. The absolute beauty of this seat is that it supports your weight over two thick, elastic straps. These straps are wide enough that I never experienced any “digging in” sensations, but narrow enough to leave a gap in the middle, leaving my genitals exposed for penetration and play. I allowed the two elastic straps to take my full weight and when I did, the straps stretched, or bowed under my weight, so that my genitals came to rest just a centimetre or two above his body. I inserted his penis easily, by reaching down between the gap in the straps and began using my thighs to move my body up and down, just as I would with standard girl on top position. This time however, it felt different and what I discovered thrilled me. It felt so much easier to bounce up and down that it would during standard girl on top. As my weight came down on the elastic straps, I created tension and the straps wanted to spring back to an unstretched position. Due to this effect, the straps were actually helping to lift me back upwards. Normally my thighs would be burning after a few minutes bouncing up and down at a reasonably fast pace, but the seat was doing approximately 50% to 70% of the work for me. At least, it certainly felt that way. I continued to bounce for approximately 5 to ten minutes without even breaking a sweat, let alone feeling any discomfort. I was also amazed to discover that if I moved the seat so it fit over his head, I could sit on his face and enjoy oral sex without ever having to worry about putting all my weight on his head, or suffocating him. The elastic straps lowered my vulva so that it hovered just a few centimetres above his face and with a pillow under his head, he could lay back, completely relaxed. I could relax too, as I was supported comfortably by the seat and no longer felt like I was squashing him. It gets better too. I soon realised I could hold onto the bars and with help from the elastic straps, I discovered that I could use my arms entirely to continue bouncing on him. When I informed him of this feat, he did not believe it, so I lifted up my legs to prove it. Again, the elastic did a lot of the work for me. I do not have strong arms and if you asked me to do push ups, or chin ups, I would fall flat on my face after attempting the first one, yet here I was using my arms to bounce on him like it was effortless. This meant that even if my thighs did become tired (a lot less likely using this seat) I could grab the bars and allow my arms to do the work. Holding on to the bars provided other benefits too. I could now comfortably support my upper body weight, which reduced back ache and I could even grip the bars and rock the chair (and me) back and forth. Because the seat was on a soft surface (the mattress), the bars were able to dig-in to the bed, depending on where I placed my body weight. If I held the bars and began rocking back and forth, the whole seat would rock with me and I could use this momentum to produce a different kind of penetration. Of course, this phenomenon only happens on a soft surface. The seat will not rock on a solid surface. Next we moved on to other positions shown in the user manual (There were about 6 shown here). First we tried doggy style, with me leaning over the seat and I found that the two elastic strips helped support my weight around my midriff, holding me up for longer. Unfortunately I did not find it completely comfortable to put my full weight onto the strips because they began digging into my stomach. I suffer with IBS and the strips were causing pain as they pressed into my stomach. I have a feeling this issue will not apply to most people, but if you have any stomach pain or weakness, bear this in mind. While in doggy position, I was absolutely astounded to discover that, through simple support of two elastic straps, my partner could actually lift both of my legs off the bed and I could wrap them around his back. I guess this would be described as the wheelbarrow position, but it is certainly not a position I have ever been able to manage before. My partner also enjoyed using the edges of the seat for support, allowing him to pull and push his body into me harder than usual. Next I lay back across the seat with the straps going across my lower back and bum. I let my head fall to the pillow below. In this position, my hips were raised and as he penetrated me, I experienced some intensely enjoyable g-spot stimulation. Finally we tested the seat on the floor, noting two main differences. When the seat is on a solid surface, it doesn't have anything to sink into, so there was a larger gap between my genitals and his body beneath me. Still, this gap was not an issue for penetration, because the straps extend lower on the downward bounce. The final difference is that I was obviously unable to rock the chair back and forth as I had done on the bed. Summary: When the Bondage Boutique chair first arrived, I was dubious as to how much difference it would make, but after trying it out, I'm sold. I absolutely love this chair and would recommend it to anyone who feels uncomfortable going on top, whether for penetration or oral sex. This seat allowed me to enjoy positions I previously could not enjoy and even allowed me to experiment with entirely new ones. It may look basic, but it is a highly versatile piece of kit and I am so glad I gave it chance. The seat may even help people who suffer disability to enjoy certain positions again (as it did for me). I highly recommend it.
My best chair
I was very kindly sent this Bondage Boutique sex chair to road test, thank you Lovehoney. I think I will start at the moment this appeared on the what’s new section, I seen it and new deep down at some point I will have that. I don’t know what it was about it but it looked like something I wanted in my collection. Lovehoney sent the chair out to me in plain packing with very discreet labels. The inner box I got was plain white, I thought okay plain packing but if you were giving it for a gift it really doesn’t give the surprise away. As the box is plain white you could write a sexy message or if you can draw something on it. I do like product packing but in this case I would rather have plain packing than some explicit photo right across the front. So in the product description and video it does says two-person assembly, I really would suggest having two people at least for the first set up. The chair comes with a manual, that has picture diagrams on how to assemble the chair, it was easy to follow and quick to assemble. It was during the assembly that I noticed the quality and strength of the chair. The stretchy straps are well made and have four lavers of material for extra support. The strong steel bars are coated with thick and comfy foam. After assembly I was a bit worried about how it would work and would it be worth dragging the chair out and assembling it in the heat of the moment. Well I bit the bullet and got down to using it, I sat down very gently even as I did this I knew that this is going to have to stand a lot more than sitting gently on it. So once sitting I really stared to bounce and rock and boy was it fun. After I had tested it out by myself it was time to have some fun. Now you may be wondering what exactly can I do on a chair like this well the possibilities are infinite, if you can think of what to do you can find a way to do it. One of my favorite positions was me putting my back on the straps and leaning back until my head hit the floor and lifted my hips higher, This kind of position would tire me out really quickly and I would get bad pain in my shoulders, but I could stay in this position for a longer period of time because the straps were supporting my shoulders and back this lead to having a mind blowing finish. I thought the straps would hurt after a while but they didn’t cause any discomfort, and the foam made gripping the chair easier and more comfortable. When thrusting against the chair I knew that the steel was steady and didn’t move from the ground unless I wanted it to. I tried the chair out in some positions I thought would work well and had lots of fun, I would say that I could get into positions that I have only gotten while in a swing. So if you don’t or cant have a swing this chair will allow you to get in some positions that other wise would be difficult or tire you out to quickly. The chair is rounded at the bottom so you can use it to rock against or to your partner. After I got used to assembling the chair I can now do it on my own by standing on a part of the bar at either side of the straps and stretching the straps and connecting the bars or disconnecting. Even I didn’t know all the position I could get in so I did some research into positions and I was given so many, but if you don’t want to go to the effort of looking them up just use your imagination. I know someone who has a chair that is similar but there is no foam and the straps are made of a hard plastic type material, that after use would leave bad red marks on the skin and isn’t as comfortable so I much prefer my new chair. Again this is a piece of equipment that you may think you wouldn’t use or at least not often but once you have it you really can’t do without it. This would be great for anyone who wants to up the anti in the bedroom. I know that ill be using it a lot. It doesn’t stick out too much if you were to leave it assembled. I would gladly hand over the money for the chair and not think twice about it.
