Enjoyable if you like strong vibes
I purchased this a while back, and after playing with it in various ways decided to write a review. The most notable thing about it is that the vibrations are fairly strong, so if that's your thing - great. It can numb your hand after a while, though with a little practice it isn't too bad. It can be a little on the noisy side, though I found out that the volume changes noticeably depending on how I hold it. Some angles seem to make it louder, so I'm unsure how much it was my particular copy and how much it's the product design as such. After continuous use it would occasionally heat up, though not to questionable levels.

Strong Deeper vibe
Bought this little number as a replacement to our tried and tested bullet vibe that has been going on for years. The push button to turn on and change between patterns seems simple enough, but compared to the dial-style vibrators this can take a few goes to get right, a small positive here is once you find a setting you like that is the setting it turns on with. At the max setting the OH found the vibrations not as powerful as old faithful but seemed to penetrate and radiate through her a bit deeper, where as the older toy vibrates at a higher buzz. So depending on what she feels like at the time we go either way. For some one looking to make a first time purchase i would recommend product, if however you have used toys like this before i think you might find its not quite as powerful as the initial add suggests.
Eggsellent (Terrible pun I know, but the toy's amazing)
I wasn't quite sure what to make of a love egg initially and wondered whether it would be able to offer anything new to the bedroom that other toys couldn't, but having had it for a few months now I can certainly say it was worth paying full price for. True power
This is the second one of these I've bought (just in a different colour!) and they are SO worth it. Incredibly powerful for such a cheap toy, with very strong rumbly vibrations. It has three strengths, plus 4 vibration "patterns", that you can flip through using the button (or hold it down to turn it off). I'm personally not super interested in the pattern modes but the three different vibration strengths are very good with the top one being extremely strong - much better than many far more expensive vibes I've owned. It's perhaps a little plasticy feeling and I don't like the fake chrome finish on the egg part but those are very minor cosmetic concerns for what is overall a fantastic product at a very low price!

Gorgeous Golden Egg
We got hold of one of these quite a while ago as a free gift with an order, but despite not being a planned purchase, it quickly became one of our favourite toys to use! Amazing
I was hoping this would live up to the hype and I wasn't disappointed. The actual design was of it is really great and the quality of the materials looks good too. I did have some trouble putting the batteries in as the bottom of the battery case is tricky to get back on and I followed the instructions over how to place the batteries and it still wouldn't start. I fiddled around a little and managed to get it working. The power is so much more than I expected and when the batteries are fresh I can't use the top speeds. I'm not someone that usually has that problem. The patterns are unique and fun but not something I would use a lot. I don't personally use it internally but I imagine it would be incredible. I would like the wire to be longer but it's not the end of world and the wire looks durable enough to survive some accidental yanking.

A bit too small
Me and my partner really wanted to try the egg and remote style toys for a while and this is one we got with the egg without the wire. Although it was good to have a starting point thats really all it is. The string is very short so your partner has to be very close, which for some couples could work but we wanted to explore public play with the other egg allowed us to do. The egg itself is also very small and although the vibrations are good, I would have preferred it to be bigger.

I decided to buy this product a few months ago and ripped the box open as soon as it arrived. First impressions were really good; the vibrations were intense, quality of the controller and product and the different settings ensured variety mid play. At the time of writing this review nearly a month on, the product has held up to atleast weekly use very well and is still perfectly functional with no sense of wear. The only negative (if you can call it that) is the point where the cable fits into the egg itself. During anal play, the cable doesn’t exactly fill you with confidence since the fitting is quite small and flimsy-looking. What a workhorse of a vibrator

Does not work
I purchased this love egg to replace my old one which broke after 1+ years. The old one was the pink version of this product. The product arrived in good time and I put batteries in to test it out. It only went through 2 of the 7 power settings then it stopped working. I informed Lovehoney and they sent me out a replacement which also arrived in good time. However. the exact same thing happened except it stopped working even faster than the previous one! I never had any issues with the pink version. This product seems to have a fault in the wiring or something. Very disappointing to say the least!

This was quite a bit more powerful than I was expecting for the price! Clicking the button cycles through various vibration modes that vary in intensity and/or pattern. Just a shame they can't be specifically selected really instead of having to click through the whole lot to get to the one you want. I previously tried the Lovehoney Wickedly powerful love egg and I thought that was powerful, but this makes that look weak in comparison. Didn't set my world on fire
I tend to get a lot more from clitoral stimulation than G-spot stimulation however this came free with an order I put in so gave it a go anyway. Good Purchase
I've had this thing about three months now and it was the first vibrator I ever bought. Haven't the foggiest as to why I waited so long to buy one because this thing is awesome. Considering it's pretty powerful, it's pretty quiet. It's not by any means silent, but it certainly doesn't draw attention either. It's also a pretty small piece of kit, very discreet to own and easy to store and/or hide. The wire between the vibrator and remote is long enough to make this a cheaper and convenient alternative to remote control products, whether you're using it alone or with a partner. I find the battery life is also pretty good with this thing, and while you'll want spares on hand, it doesn't drain the batteries too quickly. Also it's super easy to clean. Drawbacks? There aren't many. The first and obvious one is that you have no feel for how long the batteries have left as it is not indicated on the device. But it's a fairly cheap and simple device, so you're not really paying for that kind of feature. The only other issue I have with it is that you cycle through the settings with just one button - so instead of just being able to pick a setting you have to search through for one. That said, i find the different settings to all be good in their own ways and, again, given the price and simplicity of the device I wouldn't particularly expect more than one button. So yeah, would absolutely recommend this product, especially to anyone looking for a worthwhile but inexpensive and non-intimidating first vibrator.

Wasn't for me
The Lovehoney Power Play 7 Function Love Egg Vibrator was one of the first products I've ever bought to pleasure myself and It wasn't for me. The product is quite loud, (louder then what I expected anyway) and in order to stop the vibration you have to hold down the button for 3 seconds but sometimes it wouldn't work, but instead change setting. It is not clearly displayed how to put the battery cap on the right way, if you didn't the product wouldn't work.

So much better then expected
I got this free with my last order and it made me feel so good! So I got this as a gift after I spent £30 on other products. Before receiving this product I had neither heard of or used one of them. Nothing bad to say
I'm completely new to sex toys, and decided to get this along with a few others on the run-up to Valentines day (taking advantage of the offers). As I expected due to other LH reviews, the delivery was quick and discreet. The egg was bigger than expected (no idea what I was expecting...) and I was nervous-excited to try it after I tried the bullet vibrator I bought in the same order. It was awesome. Got this as part of my first order with Lovehoney. Having never used one before with my wife I was unsure if she would like it. Too powerful
The gaggle of geese at the ‘Lovehoney Goose Farm’ have been busy producing brilliantly burnished golden eggs. At first sight the egg appears to be a good-looking design and well-built with simple to use controls. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The problems began when I switched on, just to test it out. The vibrations were very strong, even on the first setting and when I moved to level three the egg jumped out of my hand and was leaping about like a supercharged go-go dancer on LSD. After holding this egg for any length of time (which is difficult and needs a strong grip) I would run the risk of getting ‘White Finger’, that vibration syndrome acquired from too frequent use of a Jackhammer. Personal injury lawyers will be beating a path to my door, and shares in firms specialising in anti-vibration gloves will rocket. In short, I think it is overpowered. It also sounds like a Centurion Tank going into battle at El Alemein. Well maybe not, but it is quite loud. From the perspective of my beloved. She felt that the vibrations were much too violent. My favourite toy
When my toy got delivered it came in the discrete packaging (plain brown box). When I opened the package it was in a white box with a picture on it saying what it is and on the back was instructions. The egg itself was placed inside general Lovehoney packaging, which I feel always looks clean and attractive. The egg looks and feels of good quality. The remote control is particularly nice to hold, as it is smooth and fits nicely in your hand. The wire between the control and the egg is quite long, so it's not at all restrictive. Once lubed up, I tested out the egg. There are 7 speeds/functions, but I found that even the lowest speed created very strong vibrations. There are a couple of the vibration patterns that I particularly like, and I am keen to try this toy out with the OH. However, I did find that the higher speeds were a bit much for me personally. In terms of noise, this certainly isn't a quiet toy. If you're living on your own however, this shouldn't be a problem. Overall I would recommend this product to those who enjoy very strong vibrations, and it seems like it would be a really fun toy to use with a partner, but I am yet to experience this!

Really looked forward to trying an egg as they are such a versatile toy,with lots of fun to be had.It was also one glaring omission from our collection of toys. This egg is really well made there is no cheap looking plastic anywhere.The design of the controller looks to have improved and its much easier to change the batteries.The single button switches it on with each consecutive press changing patterns and the long depress to switch off.The egg itself is a nice size no edges or seems and ample length of cord. I pressed the button once and was really surprised by the power of this little egg. Wow, it was jumping all over my bed, but that's not where I wanted it! The egg has 7 different functions, 3 continuous speeds and 4 patterns. I cycled through the different vibrations and patterns to get a feel for it. It has 3 continuous speeds, low, medium, and blow your head off high, they are all very powerful. I could not believe the power coming from such a small thing. I’ve only ever used one other love egg before, it was rather chunky and made of silicone, other than that I’ve tried kegel balls but obviously they jiggle but don’t jive. Granted with the other egg, I did enjoy myself but I wanted to try a few others options, something smaller, something of a different material, maybe something battery operated rather than rechargeable to expand my options basically. The power play 7 love egg came in a simple white box with a water mark style lovehoney loveheart on the box. On one side of the box is the title of the toy, an image of the egg with it’s controller and the saying “big pleasure in a small package” On the other side is a bright bold loveheart and again the title of the toy and on either side you can read about lovehoney and their aim to help you ‘discover a happier you’ and the other side provides a little detail about the toy, how it’s controlled, how may settings there are etc.. Just so you are aware, this doesn’t come with any batteries for the controller, it takes two AA batteries, nothing unusual and awkward but it would be nice to receive them with the toy. Within the packaging the egg and controller resides in a plastic mould and you will also receive an instruction booklet. So I have to point out I did a stupid thing…usually the controller is small than the toy so obviously when I saw the controller I thought that was the egg. Safe to say my reaction was far from pleased… Then I noticed the big button and noticed the cute mini egg and realised my fault. Is it aesthetically appealing? Well the controller is that gloriously silky smooth silicone, very easy to handle and being in simple black there’s nothing to frown about. It has groves on the end to make it easier to remove the batteries, the big button in the centre is impossible to miss and the wire looks stable where it’s connected. There is also a ‘gold’ lovehoney logo on the back of the controller to colour co-ordinate with the egg. The egg isn’t silver and it isn’t gold…I would describe it as rose gold…I don’t like gold but then again I am picky. It has a ridge around the circumference of the centre of the egg…kind of like those capsules you get inside a kinder egg but more oval. Don't worry the ridge isn't noticeable through use and its more than easy to clean. Turning the love egg on it’s easy to see that this is a very strong vibe, if not for the fact it tries to jump out of my hand but also that it is quite noisy. The base of the long pebbled shaped remote (approx 4 inches in length), has grips at the side, so it is easy to remove, to insert the batteries. then slide it back on. The remote is very sleek and is perfectly shaped to fit in your hand with comfort. It feels velvety smooth, almost like it's coated in silicone. The gold LH logo is a fab touch! I also like how there is a dip towards the button, my thumb rests nicely there, so makes it easy to control. There is just the one button to press to guide you through the settings. 1-3 are different speeds, with 4 to 7 being patterns. The patterns are what I favour to use, as well as the 1st speed. The golden egg (which I love the colour!) is 2 inches long and on a wire or 24 inches (if I measured it correctly!), so a pretty reasonable length. It is made of a body safe plastic, so it's fine to insert internally. This egg has one of the most powerful motors I have ever come across. The fastest setting (3rd one), is like my LH deluxe wand on full speed. I couldn't wait to try it. The only issue I have with the egg, is the seam around the middle. I've had a pull on it and it is strong and doesn't seem as though it will split, but if any lady gets a tad 'creamy', make sure you give it a thorough wash. I mostly use the egg for solo play, being teased by someone else with the control in their hands is far too teasing and torture (in a good way!), I just can't handle being teased, lol! I received the lovehoney vibrating love egg as a tester through the forum from the lovehoney fairy in return for an honest review. As always my item came packed discreetly in a jiffy bag away from prying eyes. Once I opened the bag was a lovehoney branded box with a picture of the love egg on the front. Once I opened the box I took the controller out first, this has a lovely soft feel to it and feels rather luxurious and fits well in your hand, there's also a fair amount of lead which is great for when using solo. The toy was really easy to use, literally insert the batteries and turn it on and prepare to be shocked, what I wadnt expecting with this was much of a vibration but I was most definitely wrong. There are 7 different patterns of vibration which is fantastic for the element of surprise when playing as a couple, just pass the remote to your partner and lie back and enjoy! This isn't one of the quietest toys I own but it's not going to wake the house, for those of you that need Clitoral stimulation or orgasm this is the way to go!
