I bought this for my wife as she cannot relax with noisy toys so assumed as its called lovehoney silencer and stated whisper quiet. It's the noisiest toy she's ever owned .

"Silencer" - biggest lie ever!
I'm sure other reviews also pick up on this, but I was drawn to this by the silent/quiet selling point, however this is totally untrue and it is so loud!! I can just about get away with it under a duvet with the door shut completely but it does put me off using it unless I am home alone.
However, I like that it has a travel mode if you double-click the power button so you don't need to worry about it accidentally setting off and it is a nice teal colour.
Charging point is not totally clear at first - just stab it into the rubber part at the top!
It is very girthy so not great for internal use unlike what I was expecting and it does make me feel numb after a few seconds of using so not great overall and I have been disappointed as a first time vibrator buyer.

Ok, this thing is crazy and if you're just looking for a typical classic vibe this is NOT it. It's way too long and thick to be able to comfortably use with one hand - it gave me hand cramps trying to use it that way (and my hands are huge).
Where it DOES excel is 'horizontal' use, if you put it flat on top of some pillows or cushions and then sit on it. The ridiculous size of it actually makes it super easy and comfortable to ride. The motor isn't in the tip so the vibrations are really strong even midway up the shaft, so you don't have to struggle to find the sweet spot. It honestly feels like this is what it was designed for.

False advertising
As nearly all the reviews say, this is really loud. Lovehoney, do something about it asap! It would be fine if it wasn't being marketed as a quiet toy. As others have said, there's no way I would use it with anyone else in the house, and I'm convinced even the neighbours could hear it. So it's got limited use, really.
I also found it difficult to figure out how to plug it in. There are no instructions on the box, except "connect the USB charger". Eventually I realised you push the charger through the silicone at the bottom, but it took me about an hour.
Aside from the volume, it's what I wanted - a classic, smooth vibrator that doesn't look too dodgy if someone else should see it!

Silent is super extra laughable as others are saying. They never are (especially to someone with sensory processing disorder like me), but it's bizarre to market this one that way particularly. Yes, it's loud, and that's unfortunate, but it's very big and strong so it follows suit. (I do hate the sounds of sex toys but the pleasure is the only way it's worth it. Good toy for light use
Ok, a nice build up for a beginner. Hard to hold it at the right spot especially with lube, but it feels nice and it's easy to get used to. The battery life is short at about an hour and it takes time to charge, so it might not work as well for people who need a longer build up. Obviously not good for pinpoint accuracy but it's got some good vibrations, but it does get pretty loud outside the body. Went out after a couple of months though.

I got this for free with a recent purchase, so I do not have a price point to set expectations at, however my experience was positive.
The vibrator has a ridgid, plastic structure, with a silicon covering. However it is not too hard and feels nice. The rigid structure helps you get it to where you want, while the silicon covering helps it not drag.
The vibrator is long and thin, however this design works really well. The length allows you to easily find your external and internal sweet spots.
The vibrator charges via a plug in the base, it is a silicone stopper that you need to sort of stab into, it works well and I have no complaints.
The battery lasts well, lasting multiple sessions before requiring a recharge.
The vibrator only has 1 button, long press to turn on/off, and then additional presses cycle the different modes.
This toy has found good use when we are together and apart, and I would recommend it as a general use vibrator.

Definitely the strongest vibrations I have gotten from a reasonably priced toy, but its quite hard (not too bad of a thing in my opinion) and the material it is made of isn't very... slippy. I find that if I get even the slightest bit dry, it grips and becomes painful to use.

Being a convert from battery vibrators to a mains plug in (but now missing the ability to not need a power supply ‘in the moment’) I was looking forward to trying Lovehoney’s rechargable Silencer.
A 21 cm long vibrator (around 17 cm insert-able if you don’t count the base to hold on to) this is a good lengthy product. No rims, bumps or bends, it gives a very deep smooth slide-in. Advertised as giving an “awe inspiring pleasure” it does pack good strong vibes.
A small downside is it has one of those on/off buttons that you need to press once for pattern 1, twice for pattern 2 etc so if you really like speed 3 pattern 7, give yourself a few seconds to fiddle.
It is a very hard toy. The plus side to that, the vibrations are well spread and are felt evenly throughout, not just at the tip. Downside, there is no give/bend so, if inserted fully, it feels very hard.
Called Silencer, this did lead me to think it may be silent. I am coming to learn that silent for a vibrator means not breaking the sound barrier but not silent either. Under the duvet you could tolerate the buzz but unsure if I would risk it in an open room with someone sleeping in the next room.
New to me was ‘self healing silicone’. (Who knew!) The vibrator is shower proof therefore you are not going to want any charging point to be open to water. In the centre of the on/off switch is a small indent that could be a hole but looks sealed over. You just push the charging pin through the centre to engage it to charge and then, when pulled back out, the silicone heals over, sealing up the charging point. The vibrator is supplied with a charging cable to plug in to a USB 2.0 connection. No plug supplied. Also, you cannot use the vibrator when it is charging.
Would I give up my mains wand for this? Not if I can access an electric point easily. However, with the strength of its vibrations, it makes for a good alternative portable vibrator.
Classic vibes
This vibrator does what it says on the tin, with the exception of the word "Silencer". I had expectations of a quiet but powerful vibrator but in reality the vibrator is quite noisy. It isn't the noisiest vibe I own and it is not the quietest either. Overall I'm pleased with the toy despite the noise. It's a good size for me but perhaps for big and flat for my girlfriend. It has a sleek design and powerful vibes with some vibration patterns I hadn't seen before. The packaging is minimal without excessive card, plastic and paper. The toy is easy to charge and operate with the push of a single button. I have used the toy in the shower without any issues with water ingress. The toy did feel hot during use around the motors which may limit prolonged use. The toy is made of a hard plastic which is smooth to touch but the hardness made pentetration uncomfortable if you weren't careful.
Not that silent
This toy arrived and it was a lot bigger than we expected. We almost exculsively use toys while we have sex and this one just gets in the way. There are a few positions where it would be ok but it is overly big for a vibrator. Solo play it would be fine, but even then its quite large and not light either.
The vibrations howeer were great nice and powerful and a good variety, although the OH just likes the steady vibration settings, but those are good on this.
Calling it the silencer is not accurate, it is not silent at all, not the loudest mind, but still not quiet.
