Great but dies fast
I’ve had this for a few years now and while I love the air pulse over a regular vibrator now, this one dies within a few uses. The charging cable is also very unique, so when my bunny found it on the floor and chomped through it, I had a hell of a time replacing it. It’s not a quick charge either, so two times a month and then I need to remember to plug it in. The buttons light up and flash while it’s plugged in too, so it’s a beacon if you’re trying to keep it somewhat discreet. I’ll replace it with something else.

So I really really liked this. I could always come with this, and in fact used it a few times when I needed to get off fast because I needed to be going somewhere (I'm talking less than 15mins).
Wasn't too noisy - but it is an external vibrator so you shouldn't expect whisper quiet.
Size wise I found it fit well into my hands and it covered my tdick well - which isn't massive but is bigger than the most clits.
Main issue: It broke after 14 months. Do I expect a plastic toy to last forever? No. But to spend $65 (aud) and have it break in just over a year was disappointing.

Superb Suction Toy - Our Go To
We had a cheaper, non-rechargeable clitoral suction toy which was one of our favourites. So the time came for an upgrade. After a lot of research we settled on this and - Wow - we were not disappointed.
First of all, it is quick to charge and the controls are super easy to use and conveniently located. My husband can adjust the pleasure speed and variation at ease whilst it is on without any disruption to the pleasure. Which is something that was irritating about other models we have tried. The lowest setting is quite gentle but there is plenty of room to increase power right to the top. Obviously, the higher the speed the more noise it generates but it is not too loud at all. Can easily have it on max speed whilst the kids are sleeping in the next door room without any issues.
The head is soft enough so it is comfortable but hard enough to create a great seal around the clit. The size is also great so it’s not so fiddly to place in the correct spot.

If you've been thinking about it, just get it. Seriously, I've had this thing for two days and already used it at least 7 times, maybe closer to 10. The wife loves suction toys so I picked this one up on sale. After a few uses, nothing. She says it's not strong enough. That could be personal preference or it could be the build of the toy. The toy is super light and does not feel like it would last long. It might work for some, but didn't work for us.

It has surprisingly good suction for the low noise. The hard suction cup lessens the pleasure and it's immobile and does not vibrate from the suction motion. The design is bulky and ugly, and the smooth plastic and large size makes it difficult to fit easily into my smaller hands. I like that it has an on/off button and non-magentic charging cord. Very easy to use with an on/off button, a Higher button and a Lower button. Travel lock is simple to turn on and off.
I don't think I'd buy it again if it breaks, but it will work as a replacement for my favorite. Not worth the full price. It good for half off price.

Disappointing - hard to clean and not much suction
I've used vibrators before but this was my first time using a clitoral suction toy and after seeing the the womaniser one being hyped up on social media I decided to try a cheaper version to see what the fuss is about. I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately I found it really disappointing. I've only used it once and I'm not tempted to try it again. The instructions say to lube it up, put it over your clitoris and then turn it on. It seems like a small opening to put over the clit... And then when I turned it on there's hardly any suction. I tried different positions and moving it about slightly but I honestly got bored. A higher setting just feels like it vibrates more, rather than increasing the suction - but not as much vibration as a vibrator. So I'm not entirely sure what this toy is meant to achieve. It seems very expensive for something I will probably never use again. And it's a shame as I have other Lovehoney toys which are great!

Orgasms wise, this is great. However it has sone drawbacks...
It's a pain to clean properly (no matter how well you clean it, there's residue left behind as it um... gets into the mechanism depending on how much you cum) the version of this that uses 2x AAA batteries is much easier to clean though has the same mechanism issue, it still works almost 3 years later. I got this because I was fed up of changing batteries all the time but my other one has been much more reliable)
After a year or so of use, it's died and the button has broken. You get about 15 minutes or so of decent vibrations and then it slowly starts to ebb off and stays on the first setting.
All in all it was a bit disappointing after my experience with the non-rechargable one.

I've previously enjoyed lovehoney's clit suction toys so was looking forward to finding a replacement now that my previous Lovehoney outting's battery was giving you the ghost a little after nearly 5 years (their Desire Luxury brand which they sadly do not sell the clit suction option any longer) and while this is certainly a slightly cheaper option, this little packet really lacks a punch.
The mouth of the suction being so narrow really means you have to exactly pinpoint the clit or you won't really feel much, it's tricky enough in solo play, I can't imagine trying to use this with a partner! Maybe folks with clilts on the smaller end might have more luck but it took a lot of work to get off with this thing on the higher levels.
Its quiet but feels pretty cheap to hold, and I don't enjoy that you can't easily access the inner suction area to clean it (other designs have a closed "cup" behind the mouth that creates the suction that you can easily use a pinkie or bit of wipe/cloth to reach)

I was sceptical about this because I usually have to push vibrators really hard into my clit to even get near an orgasm, and struggle to keep them there in order to get a proper one, but this definitely works for me, so if you’re similar in that you need intense vibration to orgasm, I’d really recommend this. Only putting 4/5 because I don’t know what ‘explosive!’, the rating for 5, would mean for me. But I don’t use any of my other vibrators now (a bullet, a mini wand, an insertable, an insertable rabbit, and an insertable thrusting rabbit, which by the way is completely rubbish). For the price, I think this one is great.
I wouldn’t say it produces a real sucking feeling (although I have nothing to compare to), but once you’re wet it can suction. It feels more like focused vibration all around your clit.
I was also wary about the sound, as I live in a shared house and am hyper aware of any noise I make and this usually stops me using vibrators, but it’s not a concern at all with this toy - under the duvet it’s practically silent once the suction head is on your clit. What is there to say...

It must be slightly waterproof to some degree because I rinse it with water to clean and don’t have any problems.

It certainly wasn’t what I was expecting For me it was not a nice experience at all it was uncomfortable even with gel and unpleasant yes I did get there in the end but it left me unsatisfied and sore!
This is a really great addition to my toybox. I found the lower four speeds have a nice rumble to them and it reliably brings me to orgasm.

More vibrator than suction
It's a good clitoral vibrator but did not feel any suction. Tried it everywhere and did not see or see any suction.
Not even 6 months and the toy is starting to act up. The vibrations started to slow down while using it. I can't tell if it's because the toy is held in a certain way so the vibration mechanism gets stuck. PLEASE NOTE, I did not drop this toy and did not submerge the toy in water. Just cleaned it with cleaner and water making sure water didn't get into the hole aside from a paper towel wiping the inside.

Shoulda bought a vibe
This was my second ever vibe and it just didn't live up to my expectations. I liked how small and discreet it was, as well as the shape and color, but it doesn't produce suction, just vibrates at the tip, and even cranked to the max power, tried angling it everywhere and even tried to see if it helped with nippleplay instead...and nothing. However, I did have a few small issues with the product - for instance, I could not find in the instructions on how long I should charge it before its first use. Additionally, the cleaning instructions for the device were unclear, so I could not find thorough instructions on how to clean it effectively and safely (e.g. if i can run the nozzle under the tap with some soap to clean it).
Despite these small issues, the product itself surely does get the job done. I came in about 10 minutes, and this is without any warm up. I also really recommend trying it on the nipples if you like that kind of stimulation. Unfortunately, I found it to be a bit too loud for my liking and the noise is like a car engine (sound pattern wise, not loudness wise; I think the loudness can be muffled if there is one or two walls separating you from other people), even at the first setting. At the price point, with similar items generally 2 or 3 times more expensive, I expected this product would fall short in some area of function or quality. I was delighted to find it does not! Not as innocent as the name sounds....
As always delivery was quick and discreet and the pearl was packaged well.
It comes in a little box with the charger and user manual. The Pearl is in a little zip lock style bag which will be great for storage aswell.
The first thing that struck me when I opened it was the colour. It really pops with its peach irredescent finish and looks so elegant. It's very light weight and slightly bigger than I thought it would be. It was partly charged on arrival but I charged fully before use. It took about half an hour and I've used it a few times since having it just over a week ago and is still going strong.
Moving onto the use of it. I really like the placement of the buttons on this. I have another Suction toy which is long in shape and struggle to manipulate the buttons when using. I like a toy that I can use and change the settings while in use without having to stop what I'm doing and this really fits the bill on that. There's an on/off button and then a button to increase and decrease intensity so really easy. The intensity of the Suction going from very mild to very extreme so I think most users would definately find a setting that suits them.
When it comes to the actual Suction of the toy, I suggest taking the advice given in the instructions and use lube. I didn't on my first try and it took me a while to get the positioning right. I'm going to agree slightly with some other reviews I've read on this. It feels more like a vibrator than a Suction toy. The seal you get around the clit gives the feeling of Suction but the stimulation comes from it actually Vibrating. That being said, it's not a bad feeling. This can more me climax in about 10 seconds every single time! Perfect for me really... if I'm playing on my own I want it to be quick and wild and this does the job perfectly. My other Suction style toy is the only one I have that can make me squirt but this also does the job. I just have to remember to put a towel down before using!! Its quite loud when you turn it on but does seem to be quieter when in place. I haven't used it when anyone else is in the house yet but if I did I would probably put some music on in the background just in case.
Cleaning is easy enough. I have wipes in the toy cupboard that I use and just give it a wipe down around and inside the Suction head.

Perfect little package
Thanks LH for the tester! I have to admit that I wasn't expecting a lot from this toy as we have 3 high end suction toys already that deliver as promised. So when we were selected to receive this item I didn't have high hopes for it in comparison, especially based off the price of this item. Nonetheless we got our discreet little package and opened it right up and plugged it in for a nice full charge. I don't remember how long it took, but it was quick to reach full charge.
So to the unit. It's small. Smaller than anything we currently have. It almost looks too small, but much to my surprise it fit perfectly in the palm of my hand. The 3 button controls are perfectly placed to easily use during play while also holding it in one hand which made using it during sex very easy and nice as well. The size is also really nice if you need something small to keep in the bedside drawer to have quick access to.
So on to the test. When you turn it on it starts right up with the suction. It's not as quiet as many of the higher end models, but it's quiet enough that you can use it in a room with someone in the next and they would not hear it, but they might hear you. The head is just perfect size, at least for me. It latched right on and gave a nice sucking sensation even on the lowest setting. I found the lowest setting to be more powerful than low settings on other suction toys we own, but this wasn't a bad thing. After being on the lowest for a minute or so I kept increasing the level until I got to level 5. I couldn't take it anymore and was fully pleased at level 5. It gave a very intense orgasm until I couldn't take it anymore. I had to start back at level 1 again to catch my breath. I was able to get it up to level 6, but I was so orgasmic during that level that I could barely hold the toy while my legs and pelvis quivered and twitched. Time to catch my breath again!
The toy was super easy to clean. Splash proof always worries me, but realistically under running water after applying some LH toy cleaner it cleaned up great. I think splash proof is just telling you not to take it swimming in the bath with you. I popped it back on the charger for a quick refuel so it was ready for my next play session.
Overall I think this is a great suction toy, especially if it's your first. The price is right and the quality matches the price, but honestly it didn't do anything less than my higher end suction toys. Virtually weightless and comfortable to hold, this toy is ergonomically perfect for me and easy to place in the right spot. With a little bit of "training", I have found out that its shape makes it possible for me to hold it between my thighs hands-free, so, yay!
With seven intensity levels, you are sure to find one that adapts to your personal preferences. To be honest, for me, more than three seems too many , as I find no substantial differences between the middle levels. Easy to operate, the Lovehoney Pearl has separate controls to increase and decrease the intensity of the air flow and a dedicated button in the middle to switch the toy on and off.
The nozzle is slightly wider and rounder than the ones I'm used to in similar toys and there is no replacement or differently sized nozzle in the pack, but this is not a major problem given I have been able to enjoy it just as much as smaller ones with a tighter seal. An extra dollop of lube should do the trick to improve the feeling. It did for me!
I'm also really, really impressed with the run time of the toy on a full charge as, normally, other similar toys have a poor battery life, so you don't run the risk of getting your session interrupted half- way if your toy is freshly charged.
The Lovehoney Pearl is a solid alternative to pricier suction toys for many reasons, but what has truly made me fall in love with this gadget is the noise. More precisely, the lack of noise. I have finally found a suction toy that I can confidently say is quiet and, for that, I can see myself using it for a long time to come.
Only con I have found so far is the nozzle cannot be detached ( or I haven't found a way to do it properly!) from the main body so cleaning can be trickier considering the toy is not waterproof (just splash-proof)

A decent suction toy
As usual lovehoney outer packaging was nice and discreet. The box for this toy itself is nice enough, it shows the product itself with some bits of description, it's nothing special but it does the job, it hold the contents in nicely which is the most important thing for a box.
As well as the toy itself there's the usual little information/instruction leaflet and a charging cable. The toy charges by inserting the end of the cable into the toy with the other going into a usb plug. It has a little self closing seal over the charging port that you push the charger through so it gives the toy 'splash' resistance but I wouldn't immerse the toy in water or use is for extended periods around water. The instructions explain it is splash resistant but that is enough for play and for cleaning afterwards.
The toy came with some charge but we set it to charge for a couple of hours to be sure (nothing worse than just getting into something to have the battery run out), luckily that shouldn't be much of a problem with this toy, it advertises 3 hours of life and the toy has gone through multiple uses before we had to recharge.
The toy is narrower than the main image presents and made of simple plastic, it's not a hard 'cheap and nasty' feeling plastic on the body but it isn't super premium feeling like the top end (and more expensive) toys can be, overall it is nice in the hand. The suction part is a bit more soft and the other half days it feels nice on her skin.
The controls are on the back of the you and are pretty standard on/off and suction functions.
The suction patterns themselves have a decent amount of variety in pattern and strength so most people should find something that works. My other half has a selection of patterns she likes to move through to build up feelings during a session.
The controls seem to be positioned quite well to allow a person to use it on themself nice and comfortably (no hand cramps for the other half from this) and I was able to hold it comfortably while using it with her.
We couldn't quite work out the logistics of her using it while I was doing certain other things down there, unlike some toys either the design or the size of this just didn't work for that, but that could just be us.
These sorts of toys are generally quieter than vibrators and this is no different, there is a quiet low level thrum that someone would have to be listening out for specifically to detect from outside a room. So unless you have particularly nosey people living with you in a very quiet house this is pretty discreet.
It took a bit of experimenting for the other half to be comfortable with these types of toys, because the sensation was different than she was used to her nervousness used to keep holding her back from orgasm, so if this is the first toy of this type you are buying keep that in mind but she says it is definitely worth persevering. The suction end on this toy is possibly very slightly larger than others we have used but for both her and I this seemed to make it easier to get it in the right spot.
Overall this is a decent little toy and certainly gets the job done.
Could be good, but isn’t there yet..
I was sent this toy by LH in exchange for a review. While I enjoy most external stimulation toys, suction toys are top tier and my absolute favourite. I was excited to receive this toy but have to admit it did not live up to my expectations.
The pearly colour and external design is beautiful and while it’s mostly plastic, it doesn’t feel like it’s. The nozzle is smaller than usual but also pointier, which I actually think was great for centred stimulation. It is also super lightweight, smaller and thinner than most suction toys which I imagine will suit those who want or need an easier to hold toy.
Here’s where most of the good points ends unfortunately. The “suction” was unlike any other suction toy I’ve tried (and I have many) and felt very clunky. It almost sounded like a broken device with bits inside moving around. It wasn’t particularly loud but the noises it made were unpleasant and therefore stood out more.
It did bring me to orgasm but one overshadowed by the distraction of the unusual sensation and sounds. I think if that part of the toy was modified that it has the potential to be a great toy. This could be possibly a good starter suction toy but will likely miss the mark in comparison with other similar toys.
Classy Design
Thank you to Lovehoney for sending me this product to review. Firstly, the design of this toy is sleek looking, the colour just pops. The buttons are easily accessible while using and has 7 different modes to cycle through. It has an approx 3 hour charge time and is splash proof.
We have had numerous suction toys and whilst this is a good toy it just wasn’t to our liking. The suction seems to be minimal with more of a vibration feeling more than anything. The vibrations are still enjoyable and my partner enjoyed using the toy, but it fell a little short of our expectations.
A little different
Received this as a tester, and first thoughts when opening is that it looked and felt a nice little device. It is light in the hand, and we liked the shape of it.
The shape might not be to everyone's taste, but we like using toys together, and the advantage of this is whilst toy is in use, the body being slim and raised meant surrounding areas could be easily teased also.
This is not our first suction toy, and it doesn't feel as powerful as other, and OH described it less of a sucky sensation and more of a clicky feel using any of the 7 variations of power. We added plenty more lube to the equation but still didn't have the desired sucky sensation she was expecting. Maybe times we've used it positioning isn't quite right, time will tell and will update if this changes.
We found the noise volume was OK, maybe a little loud on the higher settings. One thing that would have been nice, although not sure if any suckers have this, would be some kind of pattern choice. The other one we have does not have this choice either.
It did do the job and got her over the line but didn't give the wow factor she looked for. It will be used, but it won't make it into the cherished Go To box of greatness just yet. It is also quite handy little device should you want to take a toy whilst travelling light.
In terms of charging, it is standard USB connection. On 3rd use without charging, it got left running, and seemed to just carry on and on. So I tested this, and the battery, left on highest power from a full charge, lasted just over 2 hours.
For a little light weight device, that is quite impressive.
