When you pick this toy up it feels like good quality silicone, with a good firmness (but not hard) and a good amount of flexibility to allow the toy to be comfortable but not floppy.
We bought this for anal and the firmness was suited for getting this easily inserted. The size of the tip was suitable to warm up with, and didn’t need to warm up with another toy. The alternating wave on each side adds a lovely change in sensation.
The silicone on the base is a really good thickness so is supple. This allows a really good fix on the suction cup, staying in place nicely when mounted horizontally. The base isn’t to big so isn’t obstructive, but feels big enough that there are no worries about the toy disappearing.
It’s a bit too flexible as I have problems with inserting, but ok afterwards.

As soon as I laid my eyes on this toy, I couldn’t not purchase it. A dildo that’s pretty, textured, and a suction cup base? Yes please.
As usual with Lovehoney, the outer packaging is discrete, while the toy’s packaging is punny, informative and includes all the information you may need to get the best out of your toy.
The dildo itself is a beautiful deep metallic-y purple; it’s pretty much what drew in in the first place online! Aside from the colour, it was the ridges, or the waves, that also intrigued me, and the potential for both vaginal and anal play.
The toy is made from liquid silicone, so it’s smooth, it’s flexible, and it’s rather forgiving in terms of “give” when things get a little snug. I’d personally say it’s non-intimidating in size, it’s comfortable, and it surprised me how easily I could settle into anal play with it, as somebody who doesn’t indulge in it too regularly. All helped with a little water-based lube of course.
The waves add stimulation… after stimulation. . after stimulation. . again, whether that’s vaginally or anally. It’s fun to slowly work your way down each ridge to the base. I can be hesitant with some toys that claim to be textured but are actually just really uncomfortable with ridges or waves that are too defined and don’t fulfil pleasure. This isn’t one of those though; the texturing is sleek and subtle but very pleasurable.
The base is suction cupped, and although I haven’t actually made proper use of it, the suction remains strong, plus allows for some hands-free play that allows you to be fully in control.
Overall, a new and very regularly used toy that’s been added to my collection.
A wave of success
Couldn’t be happier with this purchase! I’ve been shopping for a dildo with a little bit of texture but ALSO, very importantly, something a little squishier and comfortable. This dil ticks the boxes - the silicone is flexible, pleasantly squidgy, and with gradual ridges for great sensation! It also has a great suction cup that sticks VERY well to bathroom tiles with minimal slippage - but the soft silicone also means you can more easily lift the edges and take it off the walls with only a little bit of focussed effort. The dildo is narrow overall, but the ridges at the base are pronounced and are delicious when rubbed against your g-spot. I don’t miss girth with this! I like to pair this dil with my we-vibe melt.
Super easy to clean (which is good, because it’s the sort of dil which will attract every bit of lint in a room), no discernible plasticky smell or taste, great quality, discreet packaging and shipping. All around, a great purchase!

My first opinion was that it was a little narrower than I anticipated (my fault) but turns out that didn't matter at all. It still hits all the right spots. The waves add a wonderful texture to the toy. The fact its purple and shiny is also a winner.
It has little to no smell, very good flex & squishability to it but firm enough to be used in the right ways.
The suction cup is very strong; had a battle getting it off my bathroom tiles.
I'd say this would be a superb toy for anyone from a beginner to someone slightly more advanced.

I was lucky enough to be sent the Lovehoney Metallic Wavy Textured Dildo 6.5 Inch in exchange for an honest review. When I saw the metallic design I just knew I had to get ahold of this bad boy!
The toy arrived quickly and discreetly by local mail. No one will know what sneaky pleasure lurk in that brown packaging. Purple Pleaser
I'm a sucker for a sucker and this one is no exception. Who doesn't love a great big purple dildo that you can stick anywhere you might fancy?! If you want to get steamy in the shower, dirty in the dining room or filthy by the French Doors, this textured dildo is a great choice.
I actually expected this to be a bit more metallic looking than it really is but it's still pretty. A nice deep purple with a subtle swirly pattern. Imagine a purple tiger eye type gem stone and that's what you have. It's not sparkly or particularly shiny though.
The material is quite pliable - you can easily bend it double and there's a lot of wibble wobble to it. This doesn't mean it lacks in penetration though, you'll definitely feel it. It's not jelly soft but there's a huge amount of give in it.
The sucker is super handy and will stick to almost any flat solid surface - tiles and wood floors work great, doors if they aren't too textured and plastic chairs work too. Oh, and mirrors - mirrors work really well. The sucker is strong and really stays put once it's in place. I found moistening the bottom slightly helped to create a better seal. I had no issues with it plopping off at the wrong moment, no matter how enthusiastically it was being used at the time. I also tried this with my strap-on harness and it fits perfectly thanks to the flared based created by the suction cup.
Regarding the texture, it initially looks like a spiral but it isn't, it's more like steps or alternating ridges. I liked it though and it definitely added to the sensations. This toy definitely doesn't look like it has been modelled after an actual human appendage so if you're into fantasising about an alien lover, this might be a fun addition to your toybox.
Size wise I found it slightly smaller than most of my other sucker toys but that's not to say it's small in any way and it definitely reached the places it needed to to get me off. I found it easy to clean and the box it arrives in is great for storage too.
