It is so soft on the skin, has beautiful packaging and has a quick safety release. It is good for starting but you do have to adjust it for comfort which has the extra lines sometimes getting tangled around itself, but I find it to be a great product.

Fantastic bondage set!
This was such a great purchase! We had loads of fun with this bondage kit. It’s simple to set up (I set it up solo to surprise my partner and it was easy enough), and VERY enjoyable to use. I went with this kit as it’s multi-functional - works as a 4 limb bed restraint but can also be used as just handcuffs. It also shows how you can use it for chairs and other restraint options too which is exciting.
The only downside was the blindfold. It was far too tight which made it uncomfortable and unusable (but I just went out and picked up a lovely silk sleep mask which worked a treat).

Good quality, disappointed with strength
They come beautifully packaged I love the satin cuffs.. the restraints need a little work.. when I would pull away and try to resist they couldnt truly hold me... take that as you will. I will have to find something a little more sturdy ;) good fun besides that though and I'd still reccomend them!

I've never watched the movie, should I? But the Fifty Shades of Grey Hard Limits Bed Restraint Kit drove me and my girlfriend wild with pleasure and ecstasy. We were both new to bondage so we made a few rules which wasn't really necessary, but it's good to put your partner at ease when you're just about to restrain her. The restraints were comfortable yet strong enough to do the job in hand. When completely tied up you really have total control and it's great. There's just enough movement allowed in this kit, but you really are in control. I've also been on the receiving end, that's very good too......

My boyfriend ordered these to use on me, they immediately turned the both of us on and they kept me in my place. we didn’t have any cons of them apart from my hands getting twisted in the ropes from time to time however i think that that was just our fault. We look forward to using these in the future for sure!

This is a good product if you really want to be tied up. There is no way you could get out of these in a hurry. I found the leg restrainsts were a bit far away from each other and it was a bit uncomfortable but other than that this is a good product to have if you are into this

At first I was concerned that the cuffs wouldn't be strong enough to withstand much resistance - I was wrong on this point. Best thing I’ve ever bought
This is the best thing I have ever bought from lovehoney in a long time they come well packaged in a hard box and also have a storage bag included for travelling with the black cuffs with silver detailing is very pretty and the inside of the cuffs are soft and comfortable to wear after having tried the bondage rope which I found quite uncomfortable because if you wriggle a lot it tends to dig in these on the other hand don’t dig in at all no matter how much you pull and wriggle and they stay on!!! They’re so easy to put on but not so easy to wriggle out of which my partner liked quite a lot because it meant he could do whatever he liked and I could do nothing about it to stop him. since they were delivered they were put straight on the bed and haven’t been moved since and will be getting plenty of use!!!! Its very easy to fit to the bed as it just slips in under the mattress and the cuffs are detachable so they’re easy to hide away from snooping guests or children and we’ve also worked out that they can be clipped together behind your back BONUS!!!! The blindfold that is included is also very soft but it’s a blindfold so not much to say about it really but it’s also silver which matches the cuffs I highly recommend giving this little beauty a try

Easy peasy
This is great and so easy and quick get set up. The cuffs themselves were so comfy with a soft lining. Definitely a piece for couples to start with if they are looking for some light bondage. The straps also fit my king size bed which has a very thick mattress so this may also fit a queen size if anyone's lucky enough to have one.
Restraint Kit
The restraints are very comfortable when wearing. The tough velcro which is attached is very strong and of good quality so they really are restraining. I love that they are adustable in order to fit round the matress of your bed to enable your arms to be extended. The blind fold just adds to the foreplay not being able to see your parter or what he is going to do next.
Very good value for money
I bought these while they were on sale and now they get used every single time we have sex. The straps are easy to put on but not easy to get out of, they are extremely comfortable while on and don’t dig in at all no matter how much you tighten them, they are super easy to put under the mattress although mine have stayed there ever since and just tuck the straps down the sides of my bed so they are out of sight but easy to grab at a moments notice. The silver and black looks really nice and honestly can’t fault these at all. They are strong, comfortable, lovely to look at, and easy to set up.
Perfect
This went under the mattress the day we bought it and it's never been away since. The cuffs are simple Velcro but not easy to escape from, while not digging into your wrists/ankles. They are also detachable allowing for different configurations. The blindfold is a basic blindfold but nice and soft again. The whole toy comes in a nice hard box so if you did ever want to put it away you could nice a discreetly.

Ticks Most of the Boxes
I was sent the Fifty Shades of Grey Hard Limits Restraint Kit as a freebie with another order a while back. I wasn’t really expecting much from it, but it’s proven to be a versatile kit that has stood the test of time well. I love the packaging. Other than the logo (which I dislike mostly because I hate Fifty Shades on principle) I really cannot fault it. I like the sectioned design of the box which makes long term storage a breeze. For things like this, where there are a lot of loose straps and paired items, this is invaluable. The kit itself was really easy to set up and use. It makes for a great underbed restraint system, and is a lot more versatile to fitting different sizes of mattress than most of its competitors on the market. The cuffs are a little cheap looking, but they’re comfortable and adjustable to fit even the tiniest of wrists. I don’t like the blindfold though. The material gets itchy quite quickly when worn, and it does very little to create a blackout effect and within an hour the string that was supposed to keep it secured around my head had snapped. It wasn’t even put under severe strain. I chalked this up to shoddy manufacturing. If I were you, I’d invest in one of the Lovehoney Tease blindfolds instead, they are a thousand times better for comfort and practicality. Something I do love about it all is the versatility it offers. The cuffs are fully removable and can be used independently, the underbed part is compatible with any number of bondage possibilities, and both when used correctly can be used for any length of time without distress. They work together to leave the submissive on the scene completely exposed and vulnerable without sacrificing their comfort. It’s suggested for more advance couples, but honestly I would put it at intermediate at best. The cuffs are soft and easy to escape from if you set your mind to it, it’s hardly extreme. That’s not a fault on the design, merely a point worth noting. In short, it’s a fun and friendly bondage kit. It ticks all the boxes for an intermediate couple and is durable enough to last you a good long while. It’s quite expensive for what you get, but if you’re that invested in the brand I’m sure this won’t deter you. If you’re not a FSOG fan however… there are cheaper alternatives out there that are just as good. Either way, happy exploring!

Me and my partner were new to bondage when we tried this and we were not disappointed the straps are easy to fit and very comfortable makes sex so much more exciting with the blindfold being soft and the cuffs are easy to remove yourself too if you need to! Love this product
I received this free after spending a certain amount of money on something else. My partner and I LOVE it! We take it in turns tying each other up and blindfolding each other to heighten the pleasure. Got this free as part of an amazing love honey deal.... The kit is in a very stylish 50 shades box that we couldn't wait to get open. The kit is very well made and the straps fit under a king size bed without any issues. The restraints have strong velco to make them secure and are very nicely padded and could be worn comfortably for a long time...... Once you have the restraints on they are attached to the rest of the kit using metal clips amd that is you at the mercy of your partner..... With some careful positioning and some trial and error it can also be used on a door or chair to name a couple so not just on your bed...... the options are almost endless as is the fun and pleasure!!!

This kit is brilliant. It is comfortable, easy to set up and fits any length of bed as all of the straps are adjustable so it would easy fit a king size. It is easy enough to apply to your partners wrists and ankles, so it didn't spoil the mood with any fumblings and frustrating locks and straps! Restrained indeed
Receiving this in the post, I couldn't wait to try it out and had it ready set up waiting to be used. You need to make sure you place the ropes in the right angle or your other half could try and get in control, rather than being restrained and frustrated ;-) But when positioned in the right angle, and your other half being in control of what happens, anything can happen and thats the fun part, especially when you're blind folded and can't see what is happening, it is a nice experience, compared to not being restricted

The best restraint kit I have ever seen
I received this a freebie with another order for spending a certain amount. At this point I hadn't watched or read fifty shades of grey, so it hasn't influenced my views of the product at all. If anything, I had very low expectations due to film/book products usually being pretty rubbish. I thought that I wouldn't really like it because of the branding and that it would probably be bad quality. Oh. How wrong I was... This is my favourite Lovehoney freebie. Ever. This arrived in a beautiful and well thought out 50 shades of grey box. It was very classy and modern. I was excited just looking at the box! Inside the box, the restraint kit is carefully packaged in a plastic insert. It even comes with a free satin drawstring bag to keep it in, if you can bear to ever take it out from under your mattress. They also come with a satin blindfold, which has now become our favourite as its slightly padded and super soft. My restraint kit has never left my bed, except for when we moved our bed from down to up. That says a lot about how much we love this kit. The kit itself compromises of a strap system that goes underneath the mattress, and a cuff set that attaches to the straps. The straps are a strong nylon based material and look as if they would last a lifetime. The cuffs are a super soft material with padding beneath it, so they are really comfortable to wear. I even let my other half tie me up for once rather than the other way around! The cuffs are easy to adjust, with really strong Velcro fasteners. They don't loosen at all whilst on and don't leave you sore or uncomfortable at all. The strap system is completely adjustable to the size of your bed, and length of your limbs. Its really easy to adjust, with a simple clip not dissimilar to ones that you see on a backpack. They don't slip to much during use and it's easy to tighten or loosen during play to suit your needs. The kit has given us many nights of fun, and as I said, it even persuaded me to let him tie me up for once. It's super easy kit with no fuss. We love it. We really love it. If you don't like fifty shades of grey, don't be put off by it being on this product, as Lovehoney actually collaborated with E.L. James and it has all of Lovehoney's usual quality and style. It's exceptionally well made, and it's very good quality. I would be surprised if this didn't last us many years. The fifty shades of grey branding is minimal, it's no more than Lovehoney ever put on a toy, just a small tag with the name on it. It doesn't detract at all from the product. Overall, if bondage is something you're into, or something you want to try, this kit is perfect. Its hassle and pain free, and it's really good quality. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again.

I got this kit free with a purchase. The package is gorgeous and chic. A lovely outer box, with the usual 50 sog styling and an attractive and useful inner storage box. The set is easy to put together. The main piece goes under our mattress nicely, and can be hidden from prying eyes. The cuffs are comfortably padded, but that Velcro won't give an inch! Making you a captive audience for your lover's attention and teasing! The blindfold is comfortable enough. I didn't find it too tight though I have a smallish head. This bit of kit was an absolute treat, given that it was a freebie. It is a lot of fun to play with. Both of us will enjoy it for many play times!
Great kit
These were the first set of restraints I ever owned, before these I had only used bondage tape as I was a beginner to the world of bdsm. As the kit has the 'fifty shades' name of them, I didn't have massively high expectations because fifty shades is hardly high calibre and these items are just part of the money making franchies. I was actually quite embarrassed to use them with my sub because 'fifty shades' of grey is on every individual element of the kit. Once I got over that (it didn't take very long), I set them up which was easy and learnt that they are much stronger than might be expected. They feel lovely and do the job well. I'm not 100% happy with them as I can't tighten the straps quite as much as I'd like, having a man with long arms on a small mattress means that he isn't quite as unable to move as I was when they were tested on me but he was of course unable to get up and touch whatever he wanted. I don't think this kit is what I would choose if I were paying for them but luckily I managed to get these for free in a promotion. I won't be investing in another restraint kit just yet as they are effective and they do look attractive.

We received this fabulous restraints set, after a lovely Lovehoney fairy placed it up for adoption. As with all the Fifty shades products we've purchased, the packaging is both elegant and enticing. The set comes with a beautiful black storage box and satin bag, both embossed with 'fifty shades of grey'. There is no doubt this would make a gorgeous gift, its presentation is simply stunning. Inside the box we found ankles and wrist cuffs, a eye mask/ blindfold and four straps connected to an O ring, making the body for the restraint. On to the assembly, my oh, a novice at anything remotely DIY had this ready in no time at all. He even 'restrained' from the usual huff and buff response I get when asking him construct anything! A few moments later, I slipped my wrists and ankles into the cuffs. They are slightly padded and are surprising comfortable to wear. My oh helped secure them, just adjusting the Velcro, however don't be fouled into thinking this is your normal run of the mill Velcro. It isn't, in fact it's superbly strong. Next the eye mask was introduced. It is also padded but wasn't particularly comfortable. The elastic straps at the back, were quite a tight fit on my head. So I found myself, supine spread-eagled, totally exposed, and at my oh sexual disposal. I can tell you he took full advance of me in this vulnerable position. The restraints held remarkably well despite my constant tugging, tossing and turning. Since its instant instillation upon delivery it's found a home securely secreted under our mattress, away from any prying eyes. It's always ready for action, and never leaves us disappointed. So would I recommend this kit? Absolutely!
Powerful Master
We bought the Fifty Shades of Grey Hard Limits Restraint Kit some time ago now as I love to be tied up whilst engaging in activities, it's so empowering for my other half to know he totally dominates me when I'm blindfolded, and restrained to he's desired position, it's so soft but makes me feel so naughty.
Limits aren't the only hard thing
With the help of a dear friend, who received this product as a freebie, I have given this product a thorough testing over the past few weeks. It has proven to be of high quality in manufacture, comfort and functionality. The versatility of the restraint is a massive bonus, as it can be used as either a hogtie or an under bed restraint, and it has earned a permanent place under my mattress (except for the times when my parents visit the flat). While I was not the one who purchased the item this came with, I cannot testify to the speed of delivery, but when I first saw the box it came in I was impressed with how high the quality looked. It was a simple matte black box with the Fifty Shades brand embossed in silver on the top. As I pried it open, I was worried that the quality would fail then and there. I was not disappointed. The cuffs are simple; slightly shimmery silver with black felt lining, and a strip of Velcro running around the outside. The straps themselves are simpler still, merely woven plastic strips with metal loops on the ends and buckles to tighten them. Despite all this simplicity, however, the product looks good and is of superb quality; I doubt I could break the straps or buckles if I tried. As for functionality, there is little that can be marked against these restraints. Once placed under the mattress and pulled to the four corners (a task almost as irritating as applying fitted sheets) the straps can easily be loosened, clipped to the cuffs, and tightened again. If positioned correctly, there will be next to no movement possible other than the slight give in the mattress, and the legs are held a satisfying distance apart allowing full access and the hands are held in such a location that they cannot make contact with each other or with the face. Overall, this leads to a feeling of complete exposure, or so I am told. The one downside to this product is the difficulty in preventing the straps from slipping. When balanced halfway around the corners of the bed, the prevent movement, but they easily move around either the sides, or the top and bottom. This allows the legs to be brought together, and the hands to slip into a position such that they can un-cuff each other or shield the face – obviously a completely unsatisfactory and unacceptable outcome. While I cannot see any design of these restraints which could counteract this, I believe it is worthy of note for first timers, such as myself. As for the blindfold, this seems to have been an afterthought and isn’t the best. It is thick and padded, but too solid to mould to the eye sockets and nose and so lets in a large amount of light. It’s not so much a blindfold as a mild-visual-impairment-fold. Overall, this is an excellent product, and it has certainly become a frequently used item. While it isn’t perfect, it is of extremely high quality and is very versatile. The cuffs are soft and strong, and the straps are near enough unbreakable. The blindfold is useable, but far from the best, and is the main fault of this product.
Amazing restraints
I got this free with an order some time ago and we haven't looked back. We use this pretty much every time we have sex, we love it! The packaging is beautiful to look at. The Fifty Shades packaging is very classy and I love the names and book quotes. We plan on having most things from this range! The blindfold and restraints are in a lovely black box inside the FSOG packaging with fifty shades of Grey written on top. I love restraints and these are amazing. I've wanted an under the mattress set and that's how we use this. We have a king size bed and it fits perfectly with plenty of room for adjustments. The cuffs simply clip on to the restraints. They are very comfortable and very strong, that Velcro does not budge! We love the fact we can tighten, loosen and move them up and down the bed as we need them too. When I am teasing and playing with my partner they are tight, when we have sex I loosen the feet and moves them up the bed so I can get to her more easily. We remove the cuffs and put them away but the restraints stay on the bed tucked in so no one can see but always there and ready for us We love this and simply would not be without it
Fifty shades of Dorean Grey
This kit rocks!!! It was delivered in a discrete and sealed box as is standard for lovehoney purchases. I know that the post man thinks that I am up to something devious, but I threw him off by leaving a map of Belgium with a loadof red arrows on my front step. Now he just thinks I am bent on world domination instead of domination in the bedroom. I have to say yet again that I was against FSoG as a brand when it first arrived on the scene for many personal reasons. Because of this I had assumed that their brand of toys would be rubbish...I was incredibly wrong. The quality of this product beats most others in this price range. Everything is comfortable and secure and feels like it will last a while, even for a rigorous user like myself. The cuffs are incredibly strong, even when used in the hogtie position, and dont let loose at all, even when there is a struggle. Despite this strength they remain comfortable for the sub. My gf was restrained in a variety of positions throughout an evening, with some rough play thrown in, and her wrists and ankles felt none of the strain. The restaint straps themselves are incredibly useful. Having come from a background that mainly focused on rope, I must say that they are incredibly handy for a quick tie in a split second. They are also rather durable and resistant to stress. The length of them means you have the option of versitility, whether it is an under the bed tie so that your partner is forced to starfish, or a tight and binding hands behind the back tie so that your partner can only use their mouth, there is enough strap to do it with. Finally the blindfold has to get a separate mention. Most blindfolds that you get in kits like this are the airplane sleeping mask type. They do the job for the most part, but they always leave space for the sub to see, or the underside of them has a gap. This blindfold is brilliant! It is softer and mildly squidgy on one side meaning it forms to the face better and allows for less wiggle room in the seight department. It is a quality item and incredibly useful. The only thing that I have not talked about yet is the general look of the kit. It is incredibly stylish and beautiful. The sophisticated silver and black is flattering on the skin and really excentuates your subs natural features. If you are looking to add some hard restraints to your toybox then this is the kit for you

First venture into bondage
We received this item free when it was on promotion a month or so back. Neither of us had any previous experience with bondage and the offer gave us the opportunity to try it out with minimal expense. Upon arrival I was very impressed with the presentation. It comes in a very nice box which isn't pictured. It also includes a silk bag to store the kit in. Installing the restraint system was a doddle. We have a king size bed, and simply had to pop the straps underneath the mattress. They are plenty long enough and very easy to adjust. The kit is very discreet, when we're not using it we simply tuck the straps under the mattress so they're not visible. There is no need to ever remove the straps altogether as you would never know they were there. The leg & ankle cuffs are very good quality. The velcro is strong and there is no way you could get free from it. They have a soft lining and are not uncomfortable at all. The clips are also strong and no way you could get free from them. They can double up as hand cuffs too, by simply clipping together. The blind fold is also of a high quality, it is cushioned and doesn't have any gaps to peep through. It has a double strap which gives me confidence the product will last. When the product arrived we could not wait to try it! As soon as we unpacked and installed it we were getting undressed! We have used this several times now, and both experimented being the restrainee. We have both found the experiences very exciting on both sides and this is definitely a good addition to our collection. Our first foray into bondage equipment has definitely been a success, and given us a great insight into the excitement it can bring!
Finding the limits
To be honest this review has taken me a while to write. As a couple we are new to bondage and this is a little more advanced than we were comfortable with to begin with. The Fifty Shades Of Grey Hard Limits Restraint Kit was delivered in a plane brown box from Lovehoney. Discrete as all Lovehoney deliveries are. The kit is presented in a dark box with the distinctive Fifty Shades Of Grey imagery on the front showing the contents of the kit. Inside the outer cardboard box there is a hard matt black box with Fifty Shades Of Grey embossed on the front in silver. The Hard Limits Kit consists of three components, the main body of the kit made of nylon and metal rings, the wrist/ankle cuffs, and the blindfold. 1. The body of the kit is made of nylon and had a metal ring at the centre, and a metal ring at the end of each 48inch long strap. Each strap is fully adjustable, so can be made to fit any bed. I have a superking size bed and it fitted fine. The stitching is good and strong and the Nylon straps do not stretch. A very secure base for the kit to be put under your mattress, fitting any bed size. 2. The wrist/ankle cuffs are silver on the outside and black on the inside. They fasten with Velcro fastenings and are lightly padded. Each of the four cuffs has a metal ring and a metal spring loaded clip to attach it to the base of the kit. 3. The blindfold is silver satin on the outside, and faux fur on the inside. It is well padded and has 2 elastic straps to hold the blindfold in place. The kit fits together well and once you have put the base of the kit under your mattress and adjusted the step lengths your almost ready for action. The hand/ankle cuffs are not overly generous in size. They fitted me but were almost too small for my OH. With the Velcro only reaching about one inch on the ankle cuffs and not a lot more on the wrist cuffs. In reality the cuffs will fit most people comfortably. I was a little disappointed at how the cuffs felt. They were not very padded, but they didn't mark the wearers skin, and did stay fastened while in use. The cuffs can also be attached together for positional play without being fixed to the bed. The blindfold is comfortable against your face but the elastic straps are small. The blindfold fitted me but was not particularly comfortable. It didn't fit my OH (he does have a big head, he wears a large motorbike helmet). All in all the base of the kit is excellent but I think if we are going to use the kit regularly I will be investing in separate higher quality wrist and ankle cuffs. I have a different blindfold that I prefer, and that fits my OH too. The kit is well conceived but slightly lacking in its execution.
A great kit
My husband and I have quite recently decided to start exploring some lighter bondage and BDSM play. Our first attempt to accommodate our curiousity was with the Tracey Cox Supersex beginner's bondage kit. We had fun with the experience, but at the end of our first fairly low intensity session, 3/4 of the restraints were already falling apart on us - the durability just wasn't there. (Lovehoney offered a quick, hassle-free replacement of the product in place of something else, however, to their credit - thank you, Lovehoney!) A short while later, while I was still deliberating over which set to get as a replacement to the Supersex kit, this kit came up as a free addon to orders of $40 or more. I briefly hesitated only because I am not a fan of the Fifty Shades franchise at all, and I didn't know how I would feel about supporting it, indirectly or otherwise. I decided that I really couldn't argue with free, and decided to go for it anyway. Any bad feelings or worries I had about the kit quickly dissipated when I received it and took a look through it. Right away, I could see that it was a great departure from the quality of the Tracey Cox kit - metal fasteners, stronger ties and material, sliding clips and silky soft cuffs immediately made a very positive impression on me. I also right away appreciated the x-shaped design of the harness (no complicated knots or ties required, and a breeze to set up), and the fact that you can unclip the cuffs from the restraints - a handy feature both for in the middle of play (you can let one or two limbs free for a short time and then clip them back without having to undo anything) and for afterwards (put your blindfold and cuffs away, tuck the straps between your mattress and boxspring, and you can be ready for your next session in a hurry - no need to take the whole thing out, and nobody will know it's there!). I was similarly pleased by the kit when putting it into action. The cuffs proved much more durable and are still in prime shape after several uses, and the ease of set-up and tear-down is great. The blindfold is nice and soft and fits snugly without being too itchy (I found the Tracey Cox one very itchy, nor was it fully opaque - not the case with this one) and the cuffs are very soft and comfortable, even for longer play sessions. We also like that the length of the straps can be adjusted quite easily for more/less give if needed. I really have no complaints about this set... except for the branding! It's a great buy and I would certainly recommend it to any low to medium intensity bondage fans.
Soft and comfortable
The box these come in is really high quality and as we got this free with a different purchase it was a great surprise to see how well made they are. The cuffs are extremely soft and you can really pull on these and they don't hurt. The straps are a great size, we have a king size bed and they fit perfect. Also the blindfold is padded for extra comfort also stops the wearer for being able to see anything. We are glad we got these for free but now we have used them they are well worth the full price and I would have been happy to have bought them for it! Two happy customers.
Great for beginners
If this is your first restraint kit its perfect! the cuff are easy on the wrist's and the blindfold its brilliant some let some light through like I have found with some other blindfolds but this is completely dark. which adds on the pleasure of the sexual act with your partner or partners. the product is fits on easy on the bed and can go on a small sofa or chair which I haven't tried yet but eager to do so. I couldn't recommend this product!!!
A very pleasant surprise
We received this kit as a free gift with one of our orders and we absolutely love it! To start, the packaging is gorgeous. The box it came in is lovely and the satin storage bag is a huge bonus. The straps are a basic nylon and it was very easy to set it up under our mattress. The cuffs are a bit stiffer than some of our other sets, but they work nicely and the velcro is easy to adjust. Despite the initial stiffness, they are very comfortable when worn. The clasps are easy to work and it's a cinch to tighten and loosen the straps to fit your needs. Everything appears to be very durable and stayed in placed during play. The eye mask is very simply and comfortable, though it tended to slide up onto my forehead! Overall a great kit. The straps are so low-profile that it's easy to keep them hidden under the mattress for whenever you need them, and they will certainly get plenty of use.
Well worth the money
my partner bought this and to be honest, I was sceptical. We have a seemingly endless supply of rope and handcuffs and blinfolds, what do we need a fifty pound set for? But I was seriously proven wrong! As always, it came very discreetly packages from LH, and I would've been quite happy having it delivered to a neighbour or left outside if necessary. The box itself is absolutely beautiful, and it does come with a silk bag for storage aswell but we just keep it in the box itself. The restraints are really sturdy and excellent quality, and they're nice and soft on the inside so you can struggle away to your hearts content without it hurting. It is very easy to use and very versatile, and I was surprised how easy and quick it was to set up under the bed. The blindfold is soft and completely black which I love, really gives you the element of surprise, and the black and grey colours are really classy and sexy. I would highly recommend this over any cheaper option, the quality and comfort is unlike anything I've experienced in a bondage kit before. If you're just coming into the world of bondage and want something to spice things up, this is the product for you!
Good starter kit
This is the first time we have tried anything like this. I had been looking at it it for a while and just decided to surprise the OH. It was easy to get set up under the mattress which is King size and fit really well. i slipped the mask on her and told her to trust me. once i used the restraints which are really soft and secure and don't dig in. she was a little scared but then once she relaxed it was amazing she said because se couldn't se or touch me it heightened her sensation and loved every minute. Will be used a lot and just slips back under the mattress no problems making it easy just to surprise each other.

Fun to be tied up
Every item we've had in this range has been good quality and surpassed expectations. This kit is no different. It comes in an elegant box complete with little silk baggy for safe keeping after play. The straps are a good length, adjustable and strong. The cuffs are comfortable to wear and gentle on the skin when tugging on the straps. I found the blindfold a little tight on my eyes, but I think it will loosen a little with time. It served its purpose as I couldn't see anything which heightened everything else. The clips on the cuffs can be clipped to the straps or onto each other. Hubby enjoyed being able to tie me into a few compromising positions to have his fun with me. This item is now living in our bed as it tucks under the mattress and can stay in place with the straps shortened and tucked away from prying eyes during the day. We received this restraint kit as a freebie when spending £20, would have been rude to pass up this offer!! Now, although in the past hubby and I have experimented with his work ties or a dressing gown belt, we have never used anything specifically designed for bondage. As with any other Love Honey purchase, ordering was easy and my confirmation e mail detailed when to expect my delivery. The packaging, again, as always, was simple, plain, and unlikely to warrant a second glance from the postman. I waited till hubby was home before opening the box, mostly as I wanted to see his reaction to the very realistic dildo I had ordered at the same time. The packaging for the restraint kit, whilst not being something I would leave anywhere for others to see, has nothing rude on it, only the Fifty Shades logo. Setting up the kit was easy, the straps simply fit under the mattress and are easily adjusted once the cuffs are on. So useful
on having another set of bondage equipment from LH which is amazing we needed something that could go under the mattress due to not having bed posts (annoying) but this set was brilliant and just what we needed to take our bondage to the next level. The set come in a gorgeous silk box all laid out ready for use. Took around 10 minutes to set up for the first time but was worth the wait. very impressed with this set :)

Nice all-in-one set
I really like how versatile this set is is. Those adjustable straps let you turn your ordinary furniture into a playground, which is remarkably convenient. As far as restraint sets go, I think this was was a pretty perfect fit for my needs. Plus, this set is really comfortable. My wrists and ankles feel like they’re snug in a pair of wrist and ankle warmers. The fuzzy underside of the cuffs make these very cozy. If you want to be in agony from your restraints, look elsewhere. I would have loved for the blindfold to be more comfortable. Maybe I have a large head, but I find that the thin band around my scalp feels really tight. It is functional though (blocks out all light). Overall, I think this makes for a good introductory restraint set due to its ease-of-use, comfort, and versatility.
Fantastic
My fiancè and i decided to buy this as a 'spice up' thing and my god did it work! It arrived in a beautiful fifty shades box to keep it in and a little pouch incase you wanted to store it more discreetly but the box is brill :) We had so much fun with this product and would highly recomend! Well worth the money!
All bound up
Being new to bondage the hubby and I had tried other restraints, however they would easily rip when my legs moved during intimacy. This restraint kit was highly recommended to us and I can see why. After setting it up under the mattress we were ready to play. What can I say. The strength of the restraints keep me firmly in place and I had no choice but to absorb everything that my husband gave. The cuffs are soft, pliable and very strong and the blindfold is by far the best blindfold I have had. It is soft and makes you feel safe. My husband is able to adjust the stretch easily ensuring I am in the position he wants me and the feeling of having to submit to that is sublime.

Shades of Gold
After being together for nearly 30 years we had never really tried any bondage. This has made us both feel like teenagers trying something new again. It came in the usual discrete manner, once we opened it you could instantly see and feel it was of great quality. We would both say it made us feel excited about trying it. What's missing from the picture is a lovely little silky storage bag with Fifty shades of grey on it. It turned us on just setting it up. It has a central metal ring which the 4 restraining straps run off. You need to try and get this under your mattress and in the middle as much as possible. It doesn't matter to much because once you have the 4 straps out to each corner of your bed you can equal them up. We have a queen size bed and it fits this wonderfully. The amazing quality of the wrist and ankle cuffs is very evident as you attach them to the straps with spring loaded clips. The ankle cuffs are slightly larger than the wrist ones. The inside is made of a soft felt like material, where as the outside is a much firmer cotton covered material. With an adjustable Velcro final fixing. They are about 3" wide so offer great restraint but with wonderful comfort. Even if the wearer struggles the cuffs are very secure but do not dig into the skin. What we found very erotic was once the person to be restrained was all secure . Just by gently pulling the adjusting straps the legs are drawn open. The blind fold is made of the same material an quality and having two elasticated bands it sits well over your eyes and stays in position. We have both taken turns to be restrained and find it amazing. My wife is 5ft 5" so was easily restrained but this quality bondage harness is so adaptable that it easily adapted to me at 6ft 2 and 18 stone. I have to say I was totally fixed. Spread eagle and drawn flat out is a feeling I have never felt before and there is something very erotic about it and this harness does it brilliantly with no pain just soft but firm comfort.
Tied to luxury
When this item arrived I couldn't quite believe how luxuriously packaged this item was. It was boxed how you would expect an expensive piece of jewellery to be packaged. The outer box has all the 50 shades of grey official collection logo and design. This for me would have been adequate packaging but no this goes a little further than that to make you feel special and that you have purchased more than just a restraint kit. Inside the outer packaging is a hard plain black card box with just fifty shades of grey stamped in silver. A real gift case. This is where this kit will be stored when not in use for sure. Inside the restraint kit you have a padded silver and black blindfold with double strap. This completely blacks out any light and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Also there is a satin bag for storage but I'm keeping it all stored in the luxurious box. It has 4 soft satin silver and black cuff restraints with swivel clips that are easy to fasten to the harness. The cuffs are all the same size so it doesn't matter which way you have them. These cuffs are Velcro fastened so are quick to fit and release. The harness straps are similar material to straps you have on a sports bag or rucksack and adjust easily. Fitting to the bed is easy. Remove the mattress and then position on the base of your bed. We have a king size duvan but I guess they fit on any type base. I had to use the full length of the harness probably because the mattress we have is thicker than standard. This kit now just about fits. You are well and truly strapped to the corners of the bed. The cuffs fit my oh fine but they just about go round my ankle. I don't particularly have big ankles but am 6ft of athletic build. This kit is more to tie my oh so it doesn't matter really. They are comfy and again seem to be ok worn for long periods as my oh found out. Once fastened they hold you pretty darn well. Maybe you could get out of them using enough force but there was no need to exhaust ourselves to that extent. We thoroughly had a great experience using this kit and it will certainly be used time and time again. Also the build quality will allow us to do so. It's still under the mattress. With no bulky parts it allows us to keep it fitted and tucked away.
Luxurious, quality and fun
WOW, what an amazing product from the fifty shades range. Being quite new to the whole bondage thing me and my OH we're eager to try something like this, we didn't want any form of restraint that looked intimidating we just wanted it to be fun and this was perfect. First of all the packaging it comes in gives it a "top of the range" kind of look and feel, the box looks great, so good it would make the perfect gift for any restraint lover, it's almost resented in its very own fifty shades gift box. On opening the box the restraint kit is laid out well with the straps and cuffs separate but all is really simple to put together. The silk blindfold has a great feel to it and the satin storage bag really completes the kit. Setting up the kit took a little time to get the straps set to the correct length to fit under the bed properly but it's totally worth it, once it's set out under the mattress it can be tucked in and left in place which is really handy , once set up there's really no need to do it again just tuck it away and it's invisible. It's worth mentioning it can also be used as a stand alone kit, there's on need to attach it to the bed it can be used solely for restraint which could be great fun. The cuffs are padded and on the soft side therefore not digging into your skin. In summary this is a kit I'd highly recommended for any restraint fan, it's luxurious, sexy and strong enough for some great fun, it would make a perfect gift for anyone interested in giving it try.
Hold me down, pleasure me right
I have always been intrigued by a restraint kit, having the power over someone and them giving you their trust to allow the act I believe is a very important decision to be made in a relationship and I think it demonstrates growth to be willing to consent to this form of play. It is a big leap into any form of bondage and it isn’t for everyone, however I believe this kit may be what you’re looking for if you’re sceptical. The fifty shades of grey restraint kit is presented in the now well-known pleasure collection packaging sleeve with the deep colour scheme, the shiny silver title and the renowned Christian Greys tie as a logo present on all the collection. The Restraints kit is depicted to us on the front of the packaging in what looks to be a spotlight and the name ‘Hard Limits’ is written in red calligraphy style writing. Down one side of the packaging is an extract from the book itself. “I pull hard against my restraints and the bed creaks ominously, but I don’t care – I’m burning with desire, it’s consuming me. I flush under his stare, and my pulse quickens.” Following on from this there is a little paragraph describing what is inside the box and giving pointers on how it can be used. Once you have removed the packaging you will be greeted by a gorgeous smooth black box with the simplicity of only the title of ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ printed in shimmering silver in the centre. Lifting the lid you will be met by your new restraint kit. The first thing I did when I opened the box was take a look at the cuffs and I have to say I did have a dumb moment. You see, the cuffs are flattened out and each pair attached to each other by the Velcro. However I didn’t notice at first and did attempt to try on these excessively large cuffs only to realise my error. Once I realised though I assembled the cuffs into their actual state and was very happy with the quality. There are four cuffs in total and both each look identical apart from the ankle cuffs are noticeably larger in size. Each cuff has a great build quality and follows the Fsog scheme colour with silver/grey and black. Each cuff also is provided with a tag that says fifty shades of grey and these are small enough to not look garish but big enough to provide the cuffs with a little extra detail. The inside of the cuffs are very soft to the touch and don’t cause any form of irritation if you happen to pull upon them when strapped up. This soft material and Velcro fastening I believe aren’t so intimidating for a restraint kit which is why I believe it would be perfect for beginners. Onto the blindfold. It’s pretty basic, again it follows the colour scheme with a silver face and the rest black. The material against the eyes are the matching with the soft material of the cuffs though the material is slightly more padded for extra comfort. Again this item has the fifty shades of grey tag for it to collaborate with the collection. The blindfold fastens with two elasticated bands, spaced out to allow the blindfold to be placed securely. I found that the blindfold is just about comfortable but it is rather tight and having a small-ish head I believe people that may be slightly bigger may be in a bit of discomfort. Onto the rest of the restraint kit with the straps and metal ring clip. Do not worry! For those of you who need instructions, this does actually come with them in the form of a little booklet. Honestly though it pretty simple, once you have a hold of the centre metal ring it pretty simple from then on. The build quality again of this piece is very sturdy and can easily handle a wriggle or two from a restrained individual. There is a satin storage bag within this kit as well and I find this to be very useful. It’s a great size and will hold the strap easily instead of having to re-fold and try place them back in the box. The box has a piece of card that separates the cuffs from the straps and this actually can be taken out and in place you can store the bag within the box as the satin bag is around the same size as the box and takes up space. Again a beautifully made item, the satin storage bad has a nice sheen to the black material and ‘fifty shades of grey’ has been printed onto the material, hopefully this won’t begin to peel with use. The ties at the top are little pieces of black ribbon and finish off the bag with class. Putting the restraint kit into use. So it’s pretty simple to put in place underneath a mattress but it. With the adjustable straps this restraint kit can go on any size bed single, king etc… However it doesn’t stop there, if you let your imagination play, there are many places an individual can be strapped to this including to a door or a chair, wherever your imagination takes you. Not having an ideal chair and people within the house, a door was also out of the question however I was able to test this piece on a bed. There are many ways to place the straps on a bed. Ideally to get the best effect of restraint the straps can be placed to the side of the bed but just at the bottom and similarly at the top to ensure the individual is in place and hasn’t much place to manoeuvre. However it is possible for you to bring the straps up from the bottom of the bed when attached to the ankle restraints as this allows for the individual to have some form of movement and not to feel so vulnerable. When placed here I was able to open and close my legs at will. With the straps being completely adjustable you are able to tighten and loosen the restraints to whatever you feel comfortable. As always with a kit like this, a safe word has to be thought out that both you and your partner are aware of, as being strapped down puts the individual in a very vulnerable situation, but most of all have fun with this kit! It’s great for beginners and the more advanced a like, it’s beautifully made and can be used in many places for hours of fun.
Soft But Strong Restraints
I normally wouldn’t talk about the packing in a review, but the quality and style of the 50 Shades Box is the exception to the rule. It is immaculately presented! A lot of time has clearly gone into the design and it looks amazing. Very luxurious and wouldn’t need wrapping if you’re planning on giving it as a gift. Inside the box you’ll find a set of very soft ankle and wrist restraints, an under the bed restraint kit, a nicely padded blindfold and a lovely satin bag to keep everything in. The blindfold is great quality and is lovely and soft to touch. The restraints may look complicated at first but once you’ve laid out the straps it’s fairly easy to slide them under the mattress and extend each point to the four corners of the bed. I have a king size bed and it fits on just fine. The length of the straps for each limb can be individually adjusted for lots of fun positions and games, meaning you'll be using this product time and time again. The ankle and wrist restraints can either be kept out of sight under the mattress or taken off and used on their own making this set really versatile! We really enjoy using a restraint kit for ‘tie and tease’ play and this certainly fits the bill. I’m so ticklish and these restraints really keeps me pinned down, so I’m very impressed!

What an absolute pleasure it was to receive the Fifty Shades of Grey Hard Limits Bed Restraint Kit. I was overwhelmed by the luxurious packaging that the restraints come in. The outer packaging is dark and sultry, with a iconic silver tie at the top, the Fifty Shade of Grey logo and the picture of the restraints themselves. Inside this box, is what I have become very familiar with, with some of the other fifty shades product....a lovely luxurious box, that when you lift the lid, the restraints await you with an eye mask. Firstly the eye mask, although doesn't look expensive, is one of the best I have yet tried. Now I don't know whether this comes down to having a small head, but it fitted perfectly over my eyes and the bridge of the nose. The satin felt sumptuous and there was no light to be seen, which added to the anticipation and excitement of being restrained. The restraints themselves, fit perfectly on the base of my divan bed, under the mattress, although if you are adventurous enough, you can try them on chairs or bondage tables. They are easy to adjust and the best thing of all, is you have the choice as to whether you keep the cuffs on, or remove them. All clasps and O rings are all of a good quality. The cuffs are made very well, no poor stitching or frays and the remarkable sumptuous satin that the blindfold is made of. They feel ever so luxurious against your skin, which compared to my previous cheap restraints, made of awful velcro straps. I had a male friend road test these with me on a couple of occasions and he was in his element teasing my body with soft floggers and feathers, whilst I was happily lay on my back, tethered with no mercy. With the anticipation and darkness of the added blindfold, it made sensory play exciting. Its a great piece of kit, even as a beginner, or an advanced player, although for myself, it was on the pricier side to what I'd normally pay, but I think it has great potential to last many years. Just always agree on a safe word before play and you're ready for a fabulous session.
Fantastic piece of kit!
Now I am not normally one for bondage but I have been wanting some form of restraint kit for quite a while now. Not having the conventional four-poster bed has left me somewhat limited to what I can actually buy restraint-wise, as I have nothing to attach anything to. Then comes this wonderful piece of kit! With no need to attach it to anything this seemed perfect for what I was looking for! I was very excited to receive this package (my husband was more daunted than excited) and as usual I didn't have to wait long for it to arrive at my doorstep. Upon opening my package I was greeted with a cardboard outer box with a very classy design in black, grey and silver that had a picture of the product on the front. Within the outer box was a harder gift-type storage box, black in colour and fantastic quality with "Fifty Shades of Grey" emblazoned in silver on the lid. The box contained four cuffs, two ankle and two wrist, and O ring with the 4 straps attached, a blindfold and a storage bag. The blindfold was luxurious and padded, silver in colour with a soft black inside. The elastic is quite tight but I think it needs to be considering it is a blackout blindfold. One little niggle trying it on is that I can see slightly out of the bottom of it but that is the same with almost every blindfold I have ever tried. As for the storage bag, I don’t think it is needed for this product but it is still a welcome addition and I have used mine to store another toy in. At first I was a little confused by the cuffs until I realised they were attached to each other thus making two rather large cuffs. I unattached them and made them into the four there should be with no problem. The cuffs themselves are silvery-grey in colour on the outside and each of them have a Fifty Shades of Grey tag stitched on. There is a piece of velcro that runs around the outside of the cuffs which makes them adaptable for people with smaller or larger wrists and ankles. On the inside of them the material is soft and almost cotton wool-like in texture, which makes them comfortable to wear. The cuffs attach to the straps each with their own little clips. I gave them all a quick tug just to be sure but there was no moving them, fantastic! The O ring in the middle is thick and strong and the straps can be removed by pushing the hinged section inwards. The straps themselves reminded me of luggage straps, which is of no detriment to the product, woven and strong enough to withhold lots of tugging. The straps are adjustable and fit perfectly under my king size bed, another bonus! Now for setting it up, you may need your man to fit this unless you are a particularly strong woman, as it goes underneath the mattress (I cannot for the life of me lift mine!). Once underneath the straps protrude out at either end ready to be attached to whoever is willing to go first, in my case I think it will always be me as my hubby is still in shock now after half a dozen goes with it. Well to say I enjoyed this product is an understatement, I got such a thrill from not being able to move and being blindfolded and although my husband is not willing to be tied up himself, I could feel how thrilled he was about me being tied up. It was possibly the best we’ve had yet, with each new toy we get the sex just keeps getting better and this was amazing! He enjoyed himself so much that when I got home one night after work it was attached to the arm chair and even I was in shock! Another great session came from that, so much so we are thinking of what else we can attach it to. Just before I finish up this review I just want to highlight a few great points about this Hard Limits kit. Firstly it can be used as hand cuffs in their own right, a lot softer on the wrists and easy to release. Second point, hogtie anyone? Yep that’s right you can even use it as a hogtie, as the clips are on the cuffs not the straps, how good is that? Lastly, no one wants to be putting a load of gear away after a great session, this kit tucks neatly under the bed so no need to hoist your mattress up to remove it each time, no one even need know it was there. Overall, apart from the slight disappointment with the blindfold, I would highly recommend this kit especially to people in a pickle that don’t have a bed that fit your everyday restraint kits. It is well worth its price tag and its versatility means you’re technically getting three ways (or more) to play in one. It is a great way to introducing tying up to the bedroom… or even the living room. Give it a go!
No more rattling handcuffs
I don't want to rave on too much about the packaging but the box that this set came in really did look the part. A large flat box with silver writing on it it , nothing tacky looking about it at all which I liked. Inside there's the restraints with ankle and wrist cuffs, a blindfold and a nice silky bag for popping the various bits and pieces in when you're not using them. The restraints are very well made and strong, they are joined together with an O- ring. Now, they're not too difficult to put on the bed although it probably helps if there's two of you.I did this on my own and must admit I struggled to position our heavy, deep mattress back on the bed without moving the straps about too much. Anyway, once under the mattress you can attach the wrist and ankle cuffs, they easily fix on with a small metal clip and you can adjust the straps to the desired length. I think I loved the cuffs most out of the whole set, they're very comfy but really secure,absolutely no danger of escape once they're on! Easy to do up and release quickly with velcro straps and they are also very versatile. We experimented with attaching the wrist cuffs together behind my back, which I loved and also to our metal bedhead like handcuffs but quieter and not as painful! Same goes for the ankles and both the wrist and ankle cuffs are suitable to fit pretty much all sizes. Once attached by ankles and wrists I wasn't going anywhere not matter how much I struggled. We've got a fairly heavy mattress but with intense struggling I noticed the straps did move a bit but winding them once round the base of the bedhead secured the wrist ones much more strongly. The blindfold is actually really nice and could double up as a eyemask for sleeping as it's so soft and comfortable. The two elastic straps hold it in place well and it blocks nearly all vision apart from a tiny bit. The fact that you can leave the restraints set up under the mattress all the time is handy and also discrete, you just tuck the straps away. I don't leave the cuffs attached when not in use because velcro tends to get bits of fluff stuck in it but its easy enough to whip them out of the storage bag and clip them on when you need them. Although we have only used this on the bed so far there's many other ways this could be put to use and I look forward to trying them out in the future. Can't fault this product and it would suit anyone who's interested in bondage even relative beginners like us!
Brilliant for spicing up playtime
Well like we say all the time we are exceptionally happy with the packaging we receive from Lovehoney. It is always discreet and we never feel embarrassed to go and get the parcel from the post man. Inside the box from Lovehoney we had a beautiful fifty shades of grey box with an amazing picture of the set we have. Upon opening this box we found sleek black box with the fifty shades of grey branding on the lid. This box will be great for storage and to keep our things tidy and safe when moving or transporting. Also there is a big silky black bag which will come in handy for trips away or just for your general storage. Another plus to this is that we are able to keep it in our bags and if anyone does see it they will never know what is inside - so it's mine and the OH secret. When we eventually got to the Hard Limits Restraint Kit we were pleasantly surprised. There is a seriously smooth and sleek blindfold. We really liked the fact that it has got two straps on the back to help hold the blindfold on and make it more comfortable. The blindfold is a way of heightening your other senses and leaves your body wanting more. Once we removed the restraint kit from the box we instantly noticed that the wrist and ankle straps were amazingly soft. We immediately put them on one another to see if we could get out of them but this was very difficult which is a plus in our opinion is certainly. We then tried putting this under our mattress to see how easy it was to set up. To be honest we aren't the best of people to work together doing things like that as we are a little like the chuckle brothers. But after a little to me to you we got there and made it fit very well to the bed. It was a little fiddly but not too annoying. The one good thing that we have found is that we can leave this under the mattress and just tuck in the straps so it doesn't even look like there is anything there. ;) Both of us have always wanted to try handcuffs but did not see the appeal of the metal making noise or having a little rubbing on the wrists. But with these restraints they were very comfortable and they worked very well and we both took it in turns to be seduced and held down at the same time. We found that the straps under the mattress came ever so slightly loose but not too much and with a little adjusting we were put back to our original position. We both really enjoyed the feeling of being in control and an even better factor in this was not being able to see what the OH was going to do next as we had the blindfold too. This really got us turned on and the kinkiness came out in the both of us. When reading the manual that came with this restraint kit, it stated that you can set it up on a sofa or a chair which is handy to know. We haven't tried using it on the sofa or chair yet but we are progressing. This kit really has helped us to come out of our shells a little more and we have been able to be more controlling over each other during sex. The kit will help anyone from the experienced to the inexperienced. This really has helped us spice things up in the bedroom we would recommend this product to anyone. As always thank you so very much Lovehoney from me and my partner for picking me to test this amazing product! Let me start by saying I absolutely love the fifty shades of Gray range. I think it's great quality and looks amazing and this product is no different. This item comes in the usual very stylish upmarket looking Fifty shades packaging. In the box you'll find the restraint kit as well as a soft blindfold and a satin storage bag to keep it all in. The blindfold in my opinion is blackout meaning you won't see anything while you are wearing it. It's very comfortable and made out of super soft satin. It will fit most heads but I found it to be on the small side even though I do have a small head. The stain bag is very well made and fits everything in very nicely. Perfect for when traveling. The restraint kit is brilliantly versatile! You can use it on a chair, on the stairs, on the sofa, on a table, on a door and of course on the bed. It's very well made and very good quality. The cuffs also feel super soft and comfortable on your wrists and ankles. They are also very very strong, you could pull and pull at them and they still wouldn't give. They can go very small or very large so I'd say they would fit most people if not all. The restraints kit is also very easy to set up and use just pull it under your mattress then hook all four cuffs onto the straps. Easy. Me and my partner had so much fun using this product, He loved using it on me. it's a great addition to any toy box. Suitable for beginners and pros alike. I'd say It's worth every penny! Love it!
Brilliant and comfortable
This arrived in the normal LH packaging but when I opened it I got a shock by the way the straps were package The kit came in a really nice box with a storage bag as well when I put this on the bed I had to adjust the straps which were really easy, when the OH was strapped in she said the straps were really comfortable and didn't rub on her rists or anckles plus the mask was a nice comfortable addition to the collection
All dressed up and pleasure to come
This arrived with the usual speedy delivery we always receive from Lovehoney, packaged discreetly as usual. Upon opening the box I marvelled at the classy fifty shades box that is similar to the several other FSOG items I already own. Well if I thought that box was classy that was because I hadn't opened it yet. Nestled inside was a black sleek box with fifty shades of grey emblazoned on the front. I opened the lid to find my kit:- A silver and black blindfold which is soft and comfortable, You may see a tiny bit from the bottom of it occasionally. Two wrist cuffs that are slightly smaller than the ankle ones (didn't notice at first). Soft and comfortable and won't hurt your wrists if you struggle. These have a trigger clip on them enabling you to attach them to themselves or to the restraint straps. Two ankle cuffs that like the wrist ones are soft and comfortable and also have the trigger clips the same. Four restraint straps that attach to the big round clip. They each have adjusters on them and a keyring o at the end so the handcuffs and anklecuffs can be attached to them. So it's a bed restraint system right? I set it all up on the bed, took me ages hauling the mattress up by myself. Only to have the husband tell me that he had other plans for it and I was to take it all off again!!! More huffing and puffing hauling the mattress up again! He did tell me his plans and I spent the next 4 hours at work thinking of the treat in store for me when I got home! I got home to find it attached to the DOOR! Yes that's right, you can use it on the door! Well I won't go into too much detail but I was restrained to the door in my heels and given my first insight into spanking with my newly acquired paddle, flogger and crop!! All whilst being blindfolded of course. Then I was unclipped and moved to the settee and attached so I was bent over the back of the settee! So I won't go into too much gory detail but I will say that with this kit there is much more than meets the eye. You can use it as a hog tie, on the bed, on the settee, on the door and even use the cuffs on their own! You are only limited by your imagination, the husband already has another idea for this and I can't wait to find out what it is! This is by far one of the best products I have had so far and it led to me having one of the best sexual experiences of my life so far.
Quality and Comfort
Prior to receipt of this kit we only had a basic pair of handcuffs so this was a big step up since it allows us to comfortably but securely restrain eachother. It comes in a very nice presentation box and includes a handy little storage pouch. The included booklet suggests mounting the restraints to a chair, bed or other piece of furniture - we chose our bed. Set up took us about 10-15 minutes all in all and you'll probably want to enlist the help of your partner, especially if you have a double bed. With everything in place we couldn't wait to get to the fun part. So with no hesistation I slipped on the blindfold and she strapped me down and snugged up the straps until I was unable to move! Struggle as I might I wasn't going anywhere, and the straps & cuffs held up nicely. Both the cuffs and the blindfold were comfortable to wear throughout our play session. One minor complaint we had is that the blindfold doesn't completely block your vision; there's a small gap at the bottom since your nose prevents it from sitting flat against your face. Overall it's a great little kit, if maybe a tad bit pricey.
Perfection
The packaging for fifty shades of grey is the best ever. This arrived in a gorgeous, sexy and classy box. Remove the box from the sleeve and there's a lovely durable storage box containing each cuff with matching cuffs attached to each other, the bed restraint and blindfold. Each are in perfect condition and of brilliant build quality, as with all fifty shades products. The blind fold is very comfortable and having two elasticated straps stays in place very well, you can see a little through the bottom. All the cuffs fit well and are soft on your skin and even if you fasten them as tight as you can they don't feel painful at all, the Velcro makes them able to fit almost all sized ankles and easy and quick to fasten. As much as I tried during my entrapment I couldn't undo the clip or Velcro, although for the proposes of testing my OH tried releasing himself and managed, although he wasn't squirming and writhing with pleasure at the time! The bed restraint goes under the bed and clips onto the cuffs, the straps can rotate around a connecting ring meaning you can place them in any position and are adjustable so fit any sized bed. However, this means that the more you struggle the looser the become, partially because the straps move and partially because the loosen with abit of effort, but it's quick and easy to tighten them and is quite a show of dominance, when you think you're escaping and with one quick movement your arm is pulled back into position. It's not an easy thing to set up as it goes under your mattress so you can take your mattress off and put it in place then replace your mattress or just try and put it in place with the mattress remaining, which quite a faff! My OH loved using this and it really brought the dominance out in him which is rare for him, he was rock hard just trying to tie me up. Possibly the best sex we've ever had! Every couple needs this, it's incredible for beginners as it makes you feel restrained and vulnerable but is easy for your OH to release you from if you're uncomfortable and isn't painful as the cuffs are so soft.
Loved Every Second
This set is simply brilliant. it is very very easy to use and easy to set up the straps are strong and the restraints are conftable. also it tucks nicely under the mattress after use so it can be hidden away and doesn't need to be re-assembled everytime you feel the need to use it. its a great way to let go of control as i am usually in control but it was amazing to let my wife take charge for a change and for that alone it is great.
Good, not great. The cuffs are velcro and well sized, fairly comfortable, and connect to each other as well as to the, other bit, so will work as (easily escapable) handcuffs, and possibly other restraints. The other bit (that goes under the bed) is, functional, it could be somewhat larger, we dont have a huge bed, but we are at the limits of its size, and the size clips could do with being a bit tighter, but its functional. The blindfold is, like all blindfolds, a little bit too short, one would think someone would have learnt by now, but oh well. I havent quite worked out what the bag would be used for...
Great value, easy to use and very exciting
Looked at all of the alternatives and plumped for the 50 shades version, perhaps swayed by the name but more by the very professional look. When it arrived the packaging was superb, the kit was easy to set up and we have left the main straps under the bed for next time. Cuffs were comfy and the blindfold very effective and comfortable
Restrained in luxury
As soon as you take this toy out of the plain brown envelope in which it arrived on your door step you will truly believe you have a luxury toy suitable for an Anastasia and Christian Grey honeymoon. The packaging truly is exquisite...and practical. the black silk bag (like the classic LH purple ones) fits the entire set, perfect for taking away on a naughty weekend away, and the black box would be perfect for storing a collection of small toys at the bottom of your underwear draw. The restraint set and blindfold is very easy and comfortable to use. it will hold you or your partner nice and secure but safe in the knowledge that escape is possible if desired (or necessary). It fits both single and double beds and can be left in place discretely. Fitting is easiest when making the bed and will be a little easier on a single bed but due to the mattress being lighter it may lift a little whilst in use The blindfold is nice and soft and is padded for added comfort and dark. As with most blindfolds however, there is a little visibility at the bottom. The only bad points are that if the O-rings that the cuffs secure to are key rings; This is only a problem aesthetically however, and that the ropes slip a little if not positioned at the top of the mattress. Overall this makes a great starter kit and would make a great present.
A quality way to keep them in place
This was our first experience of both a bed restraint kit and a Fifty Shades of Grey product. To start off with both the wife and I were impressed with the quality of the packaging the item comes in and with. This is clearly not a bargain basement product (although I suppose a look at the price could tell you that!) The kit itself comes with all the bits listed and fitted our bed quickly and relativity easily. We couldn't wait to try it out and found that when we did it was easy to restrain the submissive partner and the straps seemed quite comfortable. We have a memory foam mattress and found that with a bit of pulling, particularly with the legs the mattress moved. We solved this with a simple alteration to where the straps came up. Rather than having the kit just under the mattress we found that if you can loop the straps round the bed frame before coming up on to the top of the mattress escape is impossible! We have a pair of Beyondage Pocket Pinky Love Cuffs (available from Lovehoney) which go round my partners ankles and found that you could get into all sorts of shapes using these as well, e.g. legs and wrists secured at the head of the bed. Takes some doing, but worth it! If you are tempted to give restraint a try then you could do a lot worse than this kit.
