Once I inserted the small shaft I could not believe how firmly in position it stayed ( have tried other strapless strap ons in the past that did not stay in place in any way) no matter how hard I went it stayed true to its position and never caused any discomfit in any way. It works well with "panty" style harnesses which Lovehoney stocks a variety of, I used my Spareparts Sasha. It wasn't too difficult to operate the buttons in this as I could feel and reach them through the fabric.The first thing I noticed was the vibrations are substantially stronger in the shaft than in the pony which, as the wearer, disappointed me a bit.
