Too small, no stretch
I have found this really difficult to use for solo play. There is no stretch at all so makes it difficult to get on if above average. Impossible to have cock and balls through at same time which is a shame. I have used for perineal play which is ok, but not ideal when got this for penetrative sex, kills the mood when you're lubed up and cant get the ring on if even slightly hard!

Fantastic, I use it all the time. Pretty much wear it if im not charging it. Battery for me has lasted about an hour in use but you really don't need it that long anyways so you get 2-3 uses out of it before recharge, which only takes about 30 mins.

A very different take on the cock ring
As with all purchases from Lovehoney, this arrived very quickly and was well (and discreetly) packaged. I didn’t really know what to expect from this product as I have used many cock rings in the past but few of them vibrate and those that do have not been that great. I have also used other products that are electronic but are designed to produce a different effect such as the Real Touch masturbator. This device is more about stimulation, teasing and pleasure than necessarily making you cum or trying to simulate intercourse. This is the first time though that I have used a vibrating cock ring that is remotely controllable via a mobile phone app. On opening the packaging you can see that the product is made of high-quality materials. The outer casing of the ring is made of a high quality silicon and so should you want to use it with any lubricant you must use a water-based lubricant so as not to damage it, although I’ve never found it necessary to use a lubricant with a cock ring some people may find it necessary at first if they’re not familiar with putting these on. The box also contains a USB charging cable, storage bag and user manual. The Diamo is a completely sealed unit so charging is done using a contact charger as the unit is placed against the charger to recharge it; there is no socket on it which means that the ring is completely waterproof. I have found that in the past many products usually take a long time to charge up and then when you come to use them they run down extremely quickly! However in this case if you charge the unit for a couple of hours you should get a similar amount of use out of it before needing to recharge it. I did use it several times but not as long as two hours at a time so I am not sure how long it will actually run before stopping but you can definitely get at least 90 mins out of it continuously. Although the Diamo can be used on its own without using the mobile app by using a single button to scroll through the different vibration settings, the whole thing becomes much easier if you download the app and use the settings there. Downloading the Lovense app is straightforward and once you have paired the Diamo to your phone using Bluetooth which is quite easy to do you are then able to set a very large number of different vibration intensities and patterns. There does seem to be an overwhelmingly large number of possibilities, even with the way that you wear this cock ring. As it has a protrusion which can be placed either forwards or backwards or above or below your penis as shown in the instruction manual there are basically four different ways of using it. My first attempt was to wear it in what I would have thought was the most obvious way with the protrusion under the penis pointing back towards me. I did try other positions but I am not sure whether they were all as enjoyable as the first position. I am sure that I shall get plenty of opportunities to experiment with this and all of those patterns too. Although I am very familiar with putting a cock ring on I did find that this was quite difficult to do with this particular ring at first. If you are not used to having a ring on you especially this type you may find discomfort where it lies against your testicles. I have always found that putting a ring on before you are erect or when you are only semi hard is the easiest way as should you wait until you are fully erect you may have extreme difficulty being able to position this correctly. As with any cock ring it is very important to get the position correct first otherwise, using it could be very uncomfortable. Once I had managed to place the ring exactly where I wanted it then I could investigate the various options available on the Lovense app. As I mentioned before, there do appear to be a lot of different options. I have to say that I have not yet tried them all but you can customise the level of intensity and set customised patterns too. The unit can also be made to vibrate in sync with sounds such as music. There is also a video chat feature which as someone on their own, using it purely for masturbation, I did not try. This is for remote play with a partner so that you can chat by video with your partner over distance and they have control over the vibrations you are feeling which must be a great fun experience. I am sure that if you were to set the vibrations on this device while having intercourse it would be great too and of course you could let your partner have the remote control for that too. As a masturbation device it still has some great benefits and unlike some similar and usually cheaper toys this does have some strong vibrations that actually feel good (not all do!). There is an alarm feature too that it will wake you with the vibrations pattern of your choice but I am not sure that you should be wearing this for long periods of time so sleeping with it on isn’t something that I would recommend.
From the features I have used, and I realise that being solo play only I have not used all of its features but can imagine how they might be, it is a well-conceived toy. It delivers strong vibrations exactly where you want them, the app is easy to use and has a huge range of options and can be used over any distance. The ring is relatively lightweight (86 grams) considering what it is and that it contains a powerful motor and is definitely manufactured of very high quality materials. Whilst I have found it to be very good for solo masturbation it probably would suit those using it in partnership better as the remote functions allowing a partner to take control via the video chat function are surplus to requirements in solo play. These functions come at a price and you would probably do just as well spending less on a ring of similar quality that did not have these features although I cannot think of one that has so many customisable features, patterns and intensities as this. Having said that I really like the product and would recommend it to those who already have some toys and want something different to add to their collection. Maybe not a good choice if this was to be your only toy especially if you are using it only for masturbation; there are better options for that like for example the Autoblow 2. Other than that it is easy to use, easy to clean (just use mildly warm soapy water and you should always use a sex toy cleaner to sterilise it before packing it away) and priced reasonably for the fun that it will give you and your partner. This is the first toy that I have used made by this manufacturer and I would love to try another of their toys very soon as they do appear to be of a very high quality.
