Great first dildo experience
I purchased this kit primarily to get the two Silk dildos, so this review will talking about them more than the harness. I was experienced with prostate massagers, but wanted to try a more traditional dildo to experience the in-and-out motion. The Tantus Silk Large seemed like the perfect dildo, but I was a bit nervous about the size, which is why I also wanted the Silk medium for warm up. The Silk large lived up to my expectations! With the help of my wife, I have had many hands-free orgasms while using it. The silicone is smooth and has is as good as new after 9 months of use. I personally seldom use the Silk Medium, but we do occasionally use it for DP for my wife. Some reviews mentioned that the head of the Silk Large has a wider girth than the rest of the dildo. This can make insertion a little more challenging, but in my opinion this is perfect once the dildo is inserted. Great entry kit
This was our first entry into pegging and this kit was a great start. The harness is comfortable and adjusts well. She is 5'3" and around 120 lbs. We liked the dildos with a smooth texture and firm core but soft touch. The little one is okay for a warm up but the larger one is a lot more fun. The vibrating bullet is a joke. This was my Domina's Kinkmas present... her previous harness getting a bit tatty it was time for a new one. Inside Lovehoneys usual plain packaging was plastic packaging with shaped recesses for both the 2 dildos and the harness itself. The straps also allow the dildos to be placed in the O ring without unclipping it which is a nice touch. This review may provide a bit of a different perspective than other reviews which, considering the product being reviewed is all about experiencing a different perspective, isn't a bad thing. I'm a straight male and my wife and I have been married for a long time. Once on, the dildo sit nice and snug against her crotch and didn't move around at all as she moved. Keep in mind that this was our first time using a harness and that should go far in telling you how easy it is to use. The Tantus Bend Over Intermediate Vibrating Dildo and Harness Kit was my first purchase from Lovehoney over a year ago now! The harness has survived well, through quite a lot of use. The only part of the product that is showing wear is the buttons used to hold the o-ring in place which have become rusted from washing the harness after use. Individually these cost around the same as the whole kit and are a worthwhile investment. The silicone means they can be sterilised and will last a long time. First timers review
We got the Tantus Bend Over Intermediate Vibrating Strap-On Harness with 2 Silicone Dildos back when we first started exploring strap-ons. Yes this was our first strap-on. This kit could not be easier to use! Changing the head (Dildo) takes only a moment, setup is a sinch, and I would say it is not too large for beginners. Well… If you are using this for anal the smaller dildo isn’t to large. The larger one will take time to work up to if you have not been in to anal play for a while. However that is a bonus for this set as later on you can start using the large dildo in place of the smaller one for a completely new experience! Something we found with this set is that with some adjusting of the straps you can easily put this on a man and use it with a woman for double penetration! A toy that was once used explicitly for one of us can now be used on both of us! Another bonus! I do have one problem with this kit however. The bullet vibrator that is slipped in to the top of the harness is more uncomfortable than anything. When using this kit the vibrator is not powerful enough to give sufficient stimulation, and the pressure you it causes feels like someone poking you in a way you don’t want. Other than that, I would say this is an amazing kit! Labeled intermediate, This was our first kit, and still our favorite!
Oh bigger than I thought
Well, I'm pretty small built so when I first saw this I thought HOLY SH-- but the small dildo was actually perfect for me, not too rigid but just enough to provide a satisfying amount of friction. My partner and I have really enjoyed using this with each other, the straps are comfortable and adjustable and it is so easy to clean as it is boilable, so you know it is going to be hygienic and safe to use. I'm just put off by the larger sized dildo, but as I said I'm pretty small! Perfect beginner's strapon kit.
This is the first strapon kit we ever had. We'd looked around, and this seemed like the best value-for-money kit, so we decided to invest in it. No regrets! The packaging is very good. A clear plastic box, with plastic holders inside for both dildos and the harness, bullet and O-rings. The harness was easy, if a little slow, to put on. You just step into it, pull it up, and tighten the straps. Simple! It's comfortable enough, but the straps can chafe if they rub in an awkward place. The harness stays put, and gives you great control of your toy! You can adjust how high the toy sits to achieve different angles. The straps of the harness don't hinder access to the wearer's private parts, at all, so no need to remove it to reverse roles! As functional as this harness is, it doesn't look pretty. The straps are a little awkward, and the fabric pad looks tacky. My girlfriend always dresses up at least a little when she wears this, so she feels sexy. The dildos are both made of the same firm but flexible silicon. It's very smooth, which means very little friction. They're also very easy to clean! They both have rounded tips which makes it easy to put them in. The smaller dildo is a great starting point. Despite the name, I think this set is ideal for beginners. This dildo could easily be used as the next-step-up from fingers. Anything smaller would have been pointless, to me. I still use the smaller dildo if I feel like taking it easy, or it's been a while, so it's a good investment! The second, larger dildo might take a little longer for beginners to achieve. It is bigger than it seems in the pictures, and it has a bulbous shape, much wider at the end than the base. It's a big step up from the smaller one. It would be better to have something in between. We tried the small vibrating bullet. There's a little pocket in the harness to put it in, so that it stimulates the wearer's clitoris. However, it's not very powerful, and my girlfriend said she couldn't feel it much so we don't use it. The only part of this kit that doesn't see regular use. The harness can be used with just about any size dildo, since they give you 2 different sized O-rings. We've given both the harness and the dildos a lot of use over the last few months, and they're all still in good shape. I suspect we'll still be using this kit for years to come.

Great product, especially for beginners
This was the first strap on set I ever bought. My boyfriend and I had been experimenting with anal penetration and pegging and finally wanted to invest in a good quality product. The dildos that come with this set are actually not that big, despite the name suggesting otherwise. The "small" size is actually the bigger size in the "beginner" set, and it is quite small. Even though this was our first strap on set, we thought the beginner set was too small and wouldn't really do much for my partner. However, the sizes in this set were ideal - the smaller dildo wasn't too small and perfect for first timers, and the bigger one was just the right size: not too big but big enough to have fun with. The only problem with the bigger dildo is that for some reason, it expands around the head (you can probably see this in the pictures). I'm not sure why it's made like this, but my partner didn't seem too happy about it. It made things a bit awkward, actually - the head is thicker than the rest of the dildo, which makes it hard to insert and a bit uncomfortable (I tried it myself as well and reached the same conclusion). Other than that, the dildos are just fine. They're pretty basic (which in my opinion is a good thing) and get the job done. The harness is very comfortable for the wearer and is easy to put on. Amazing strap-on (lesbian couple)
My partner and I never used a strap-on before so this was the first for both of us. I'm from Portugal and the order came 5 days after it has been dispatched! Accidentally I took the straps out of the front panel and it was a bit hard to figure out where everything went. However it didn't took too long to put it all together again. The harness is amazing.. Comfortable, adjustable and attractive. Me and my partner are both a size 8, so there was plenty of strap left over. Everything in there seems washable. The O-rings are easy to use and to interchange, and the good thing is that you can use another toys in the harness, you just have to buy a pack of O-rings or a dildo that could fit in the ones that come in this kit. I absolutely loved the bullet! The vibrations were good and strong but in some positions it felt uncomfortable, so you can simply take it out and turn it off or continue using it out of the pouch. The dildos are great, the silicone material feels amazing. It's super soft, it's firm but the perfect amount of firm, not too hard but not to 'floppy' either. The curve feels amazing. My partner has never been with men so the thinner one is perfect for her. Great kit and foundation for your adventures
I progressed onto this kit having previously tried butt plugs and prostate massagers with my OH. Though that said I understand peoples reservations to try this sort of thing. A result of not being a complete beginner to anal play meant that I chose the intermediate kit over the beginner kit which although initially I thought perhaps I should have gone beginner, I am glad now I chose this one. I chose Tantus as they appeared good quality, had a wide range of compatible dildo’s and already had positive reviews. The kit comes with the harness, a medium and large dildo and a bullet vibrator and two rings for different size dildo’s. The harness was a good fit for my OH and very adjustable and she informs me it is comfortable to wear. You hook up one of the rings and slip the dildo in and you’re away. The bullet vibrator slips in to a pocket behind the base of the dildo. In use the key to this is plenty of lube and patience. It can be quite difficult to wield during the first couple of uses but stick with it. On the lube front I also use a tiny smidge of desensitiser but extreme caution must be used because pain might be something else. I’m not that fussed on the bullet vibrator myself and I’m not sure it did much for my OH. Once you find your way this is really enjoyable and this kit is fantastic. In time I’ll try out the other Tantus dildo’s as I get more experienced with pegging. I’ll probably get one with the bullet in the dildo next. Great kit.
It all breaks down at the role-reversal
Firstly, a little background into how this purchase came about. I had previously bought myself and the good lady matching vibrating butt plugs which we had great fun with. There are no rough edges or seems to the very high quality dildos come with with flared bases and are soft enough to not be harsh but firm enough to do the job they are intended to do. The harness was a very good fit for the OH and everything holds very well in place so you can be confident nothing is going to slip during use. It also sits in a very natural position once on. As for the action? It does everything you'd expect perfectly. Admittedly we haven't moved up to the larger dildo just yet but that's only a matter of time. The best harness I have ever used

The large one is something we had to work up to but very enjoyable for my partner once we did. The harness is very easy to put on, comfortable and not intimidating at all. The vibrator which slots in to the harness was very powerful and sat nicely for strong clitoral stimulation. My partner could also feel the vibrations through the dildo which added to the experience. A versatile, comfortable strap on harness
My older (cheaper) harness was not the most comfortable harness and pegging was becoming more common in our bedroom, so I knew it was time for an upgrade, and boy am I glad I went for this harness. Any pulling sensations, which can usually be felt during the back stroke, focus around the back of your thighs and waist, which is much more comfortable than feeling that pulling sensation across your genitals. This design comes with other advantages too. Wearing the straps around the back of your thighs, rather than coming straight up between your legs, means that the female genital region is now accessible. I could insert a dildo and reach my clitoris, which is a huge bonus if you get aroused during strap on play and want to indulge in some mutual stimulation. Another pleasing feature is the padded, velvety soft front section, which holds the dildo in place and rests comfortably and securely against the pubic bone. In Use (The Dildos): I personally found that both of these dildos are perfect for intermediates. (Which is what we are.) The small one is not intimidating and it functioned well as a good warm up dildo before attempting the large, as well as being ideal for sessions where we didn't want to push our limits and just wanted a more gentle, relaxing session. The larger one came into its own during more intense sessions, where we wanted to feel fuller, or more stretched. Because both dildos are made from a texture free, shiny silicone, the drag normally associated with silicone dildos was reduced. The lack of texture ensured a more comfortable, gentle, anal experience which is ideal for my partner, being of intermediate level. Anything too large or textured would have left him struggling to take any kind of faster rhythm and so I was certainly glad that I could use these dildos for both slow teasing sessions and to thrust quite hard, without causing him to feel discomfort or pain. Perfect. Well, almost perfect. My partner commented that, for him anyway, the large dildo is just a little too long and he finds it to be uncomfortable (In a prodding sort of way.) when it goes all the way inside him. I must agree with him on this. I personally have the same issue with all Tantus Dildos. (I think I have quite a shallow vaginal canal, as I can never seem to insert the last inch or two on all the Tantus dildos I own to date.) This isn't a huge problem though. We just know that we cannot ram the large one in too deep. Summary: This is a high quality harness at an extremely affordable price. The Dildos alone would cost the price that you are paying for this set. Do not get me wrong, this is not a super luxury harness (Some of which can cost hundreds of pounds) but it is definitely one of the best in this price range. Both dildos are gorgeous, perfect for anal penetration and are made from high grade silicone, so they can be sterilised and shared too. Because this set uses o-ring attachments, you can simply buy different sized rings and attach any dildo with a flared base to this harness too.This set has very few niggles. If I was to recommend a beginners to intermediate harness, this one would win, hands down.
Everything you could ever want in a strap-on
My partner and I had already had some experience with the "Beginners Strap On Harness Kit" from Lovehoney. Since we seemed to be breaking it and stitching it back together on a regular basis, we decided it was time for a new one. The parcel arrived the day after ordering. The packaging was very sleek and impressive looking. The only thing that may have helped would have been some instructions on how to do the straps, as (especially when removing the O ring or front panel) it was a bit hard to figure out where everything went. However, it doesn't take too long to get the hang of. The harness is amazing. It sits comfortably, is fully adjustable, and is very easy to get into a comfortable and secure position. The straps are easy to tuck out of the way if necessary. I am a size 10 and my partner is a size 12, and both of us found that there was plenty of strap left over once we were secure. What I would say is that, if you are smaller than a size 10, it may take some work to secure this harness properly as I had it pretty much as tight as it would go. The removable front panel is excellent for cleaning, I've already put it through the washer (and tumble drier, accidentally!) but it came out just fine. The velvety material does tend to show up any mess you get on it (we got the black version) but this isn't really too much of an issue as cleaning is so simple. The poppers and O rings are easy to use and interchange, and are handy for slotting other toys into the harness. I felt sexy in it and certainly thought my partner rocked it too. The bullet vibrator was not very impressive. It looks like it may be made of chrome or something but is actually only plastic. Mine was vibrating before I even got all the batteries in and wouldn't stop until I took them all out- the power button was no good whatsoever. The vibrations were good and strong once the bullet cap was twisted to a certain angle (not all the way) but it was too fiddly to bother with much. I also found that it sat uncomfortably on my pubic bone when in the pouch and didn't really enhance the experience for either user. A better quality bullet might be good if you have one, but to be honest it seems like an unnecessary gimmick as the rest of the product is great on its own. The dildos themselves are great- they have a very pleasing curve to them. The bigger one is pleasingly thick and long, and the only downside is that the base is thinner than the tip which means the stretch is less pleasurable the further in you go- still more than satisfying, however! The thinner one seems a great size for anal sex, but we haven't used it too much just yet. Overall, this product is excellent. The naff bullet doesn't detract from all of the other great features. Could not recommend this enough.
Does what it says on the... packet
Well bought for Mr X after exploring anal play with plugs and a small dildo. To be honest we were far from experts in this area and switched between intermediate and the beginner model on love honey but after looking at the dildo sizes between this and the stuff we had we decided to go for it. What i would advise is if you have even ever slightly explored anal play follow suit as the smaller dildo in this set is probably as small as you would want to go and personally havent even used it. The larger of the two is well sized but still does take some warming up too so the set as a whole is well established. As for the quality it is perfect. Everything about this is sturdy, well finished. The (adjustable) straps are well placed and will not move around. The four clips that hold the o-ring and dildo are the same, well placed, sturdy and very little movement. The vibrator, not to be forgotten. We used it first time but didnt pay much attention and then forgot to slip it in. One night we remembered and what a difference it makes for both people, a very nice touch. The fact that you can feel it in the tip of the dildo shows how stong it is. The dildos themselves are brilliant. They do not give off a bad smell and the texture is important. They are very very silky meaning entry is made easier and cleaning is an also simpler. Summary, Great quality product all round. Does what it should pleasure wise and performes well.
Pegging heaven
Well i finally plucked up the courage to ask my wife about pegging and she agreed ! So we had a look at a few harness kits in nearly got the beginers set but after some reviews said the smaller dildos are no bigger than a finger i couldnt see the point as this was a investment. The item is not cheap and i think your paying for the dildos more than the harness itself. The bullet provided is a bit naff and mine refuses to work im sure lovehiney would help but i dont want to send the whole thing back for one part.I also dont think it stimulates the women much at all so its a bit of novelty. The harness fits well and is easily adjusted and makes my wife look even more sexy. The two dildos are well made and very smooth.The only thing is the bigger of the two seems a much bigger step from the smaller an i think i will ned some time before i try it again. I got a little greedy first time around and the head being quite big knocked me back ouch!! Its a great harness but i think a size inbetween the two would be better and less intimidating jump from the other
Ideal First (and only) Strap-On
We really researched which strap on to purchase & after looking at alot of different products we finally settled on this one. We are not disappointed! The harness is very easy to put on & fully adjustable for a comfortable fit. The bullet sits perfectly to give a powerful vibration to the clit while thrusting, which is a real plus! We struggled to choose between the beginners & intermediate kit - but we are really glad we chose the intermediate. The larger of the 2 dildos is a good comfortable size for vaginal penetration & the smaller one is ideal for anal penetration. The dildos sit tight against the harness & they are pliable enough to be comfortable inside you, but stiff enough to be able to thrust "hands free" The harness itself is well finished & the pad the dildo sits against is a nice soft fabric. Easy, comfy and fun, fun, fun
A question for you: What's better than owning and getting to use a great strapon? Owning and getting to use two great strapons of course! Surely one is enough you say? First things first - when you pull this out of the (discreet as ever) LH brown box it's instantly clear that this is one of the new style of "designed" sex toys. There are no tacky pictures of spray tanned porn stereotypes - just a sturdy clear plastic display box like you might get a new mp3 player in. It's clearly a toy that's meant to sit happily on the shelves of the new breed of 'classy' high street adult stores (you know the ones - shame they're twice as expensive & half as fun as Lovehoney :-) ) There's a bit of a blurb on the back of the box but it's all very 'adult', in a good way, covering the basics of the product with no need for silly names or innuendo. Once out the box the simple-but-quality theme continues. The product is basically four objects – the harness, the two dildos and the vibrating bullet. The harness consists of several straps made a woven nylon ribbon – it’s a bit like a softer version of seatbelt material – or the stuff you might have forming part of the straps on your rucksack. Talking of rucksacks, the adjustable fasteners are also similar to those you might find on a rucksack. None of this is a bad thing – the straps feel really strong, and the fasteners are simple and intuitive to use. The straps come together around the firm rubber O ring, secured by 4 silver poppers which also look like they’re going to last for many, many uses. Behind the O ring sits the lightly padded purple velveteen triangle, with a slot for the vibrating bullet. It’s not spectacular, and perhaps not the most ‘serious’ looking harness you’ll see, but within seconds of taking it out of the box the OH had stepped into the harness, pulled the cords tight and that was it – as solid and secure fit as you could want. The two dildos are both of a quite luxurious purple silicon with an ‘oil slick’ finish to the colour. They’re reasonably firm, but still flexible, and work brilliantly with lube – overall they’re very nice to the touch. My biggest issue with the dildos is the size – specifically I think the smaller of the two is perhaps too small. I know that size is totally subjective from person to person, but for me the smaller of the two is ‘Beginner’ size, rather than the ‘Intermediate’ that this set aims at. After all, Tantus also do a beginner version of this set, and the larger of the two dildos in that set is thicker and virtually the same length as the smaller of these two. Personally I would’ve liked to see the smaller of the two in this set as somewhere between the size of the two provided, and the larger of the two a little bigger than it is as well… but hey – that’s just me! As it is, the larger dildo is still a very nice size, with a smooth shape and slightly bulbous head – let’s just say that my bum wasn’t disappointed ? Finally we have the vibrating bullet, which is just another bullet really. The vibrations are pretty strong, but I’ve felt stronger bullets to be honest. Also, when we first tried it the switch was a bit temperamental – after a shake and a few flicks and the threat to send it back to LH it seems to be behaving for now – I can’t judge it too harshly though – sometimes it takes a shake and a few flicks to get my manhood going (though I don’t know who I’d threaten to send that back to!)… Seriously though, I’m sure it was just a one-off glitch and had it persisted I’m sure LH would’ve swapped it easily enough. Most importantly of course – how does it all come together? I’m pleased to say, pretty dammed well. It only takes a few seconds to push the dildo you want through the O ring, and as I said earlier, putting the harness on is as simple as stepping in and tightening a few straps. Lastly the bullet slips into its little pouch and sits behind the base of the dildo – and that’s it – good to go! From the receiver’s point of view I found the larger of the two dildos thoroughly enjoyable… unlike another more basic O ring style harness we had long ago, this holds the dildo perfectly in place, allowing the OH to thrust as fast or slow, long or short, as she desires, with no loosening or ‘sagging dildo syndrome’. To be honest I had my doubts that an O ring could be as secure as a Vac-u-Lock plug (our other strapon) – turns out I was wrong! As the receiver I wouldn’t say the vibrations from the bullet were a huge factor for me, but the OH said they were a very nice addition for her. As for the OH, she reports that the harness itself is very comfortable, both due to the configuration of the straps (round the back and under the bum-cheeks, rather than thong style), and the fact that the straps themselves are wide enough not to cut in at all. She thoroughly enjoyed the bullet, although she says it wasn’t quite as orgasmic as our other harness which has a vaginal plug – but, this is more comfortable and has the advantage that I can get access to her ‘bits’ during a session, without having to take the harness of – which is excellent! Personally I’d like a slightly bigger dildo, but of course the huge advantage of this kit is that an O ring can take pretty-much any dildo with a flanged base, so the choice is huge if you want to size-up. The comfort of the harness is also a great advantage for longer sessions. Overall – it’s a very nice product – the biggest compliment I can give? A lesbian couple we’re friends with are moving house soon and we’re thinking of giving them a strapon as a housewarming gift, and I think it’s gonna have to be this one of these. Lets face it, it’ll be a whole lot more fun for them than a sandwich toaster!
