Ok, so anyone who has tried a Fleshlight probably knows roughly what to expect. This particular one caught my eye as it was fairly hidden away on the Lovehoney website (it didn't show up on the main results page when you search 'Fleshlight'). I've tried a few over the years, including Pink Lady, Stoya Destroya (several Stoyas in fact), Vanna Dopamine, and more recently the Kazumi Kumzumi sleeve, so I have some basis for comparison. I won't go too much into the logistics of prep, cleaning etc as I'll assume most people browsing these reviews are already familiar with the process - it's pretty much the same for all sleeve models.
In my experience, Stoya has been the gold standard against which others are compared. The Evie Akashiya (who I've never otherwise heard of) sleeve is a bit different in that it is one continuous texture all the way down the canal, rather than varying sections of different textures. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially since for the majority of guys, we're not likely to experience much past the 5-6 inch point into the canal anyway.
The description of the texture as "wall to wall tits and tongues" is amusing to say the least, as well as a bit unusual, but not inaccurate. There are essentially two types of texture on different sides of the canal: one is lots of little bumps (representing boobs) which caress whatever they're gliding over, and the other is lots of little protruding flaps (the tongues) that bend and fold as your member passes them to and fro, stroking like, well, like lots of little tongues. The image is an enticing one, even if the experience itself is not in reality comparable to lots of *actual* little tongues (since miniature tongues aren't really something you're likely to come across). This isn't to say that it's not highly enjoyable and packed with pleasure, which it certainly is.
Whereas the Stoya sleeve tends to deliver a very intense, plump, direct and enveloping masturbatory experience, Evie Akashiya is a little more gentle. If Stoya was a hot, high intensity shag from a bad girl looking to drain your balls, Evie is more like a laid back, loving caress from the girl next door, happy to let you screw her either gently or vigorously and in no particular rush to bring you to the point of ecstasy - though bring you there she will. I've seen Evie described in forums as a good edging sleeve, which may be accurate. If you are seeking hyper-strong airtight suction and an intensely tight experience, this may not be top of your list. However, the tongue flaps and bumps inside the canal are definitely noticeable, and the fact that these contrasting textures are on different walls of the canal means that you can experiment with orientation (rotating the case during use) until you find just the right kind of stimulation that you're looking for.
Visually, it's a beautiful item. The red case is a standout feature, very unique, and the sleeve opening itself is an attractive one: a perfectly symmetrical, cute and inviting labia with a hint of a clitoral hood, and some stylish Japanese characters on one side. Despite Evie Akashiya being (obviously) a fictional anime character, she is nonetheless quite a cutie as depicted on the box: red hair, green eyes, generous charms - if that's your thing, she's well worth your consideration.
It's stating the obvious to say that every man's experience will vary with any Fleshlight, since we're all different sizes, lengths, girths etc. I would say that as a man of average length and slightly above average girth, I found this Fleshlight to be a worthy and enjoyable addition to the toy chest. I like the fact that the sleeve texture is the same all the way down the canal, since as mentioned above you're not left wondering what you might be feeling if you were two or three inches longer.
Whether this is your first Fleshlight or your fiftieth, I can't see that anyone would find this to be boring. If you're someone who has a collection of two, three or four different models, then Evie is one worth adding as she provides a good contrast to some of the more intense sleeves out there - varying it up a bit is definitely a good thing.
