When my Basics Neutral Beaded Male Stroker arrived, I tested it out immediately, as you do.
- UNPACKAGING -
After taking it out of its little cardboard box, I found the stroker sealed in not one, but two plastic bags. The second plastic bag in the box was really unnecessary and only really contributes to the problem of plastic waste in our day and age.
As soon as I finally freed the stroker from its double plastic packaging, I was instantly hit by a scent of what, to me, smelt like burning wood. It was really strange, and I haven't smelt anything similar on previous male toys of similar materials.
The stroker was also coated in some kind of thin oily substance, which I can only assume was the oil they applied to the item at the factory to stop it burning while it was being manufactured/drilled. This would have been easy to remove at the factory. I washed the stroker about four times and, although not as prevalent, the weird burnt wood smell was still there.
- USING THE STROKER -
I applied a squirt of Liquid Silk Lube, the best lube product I have found to date, which was also purchased from LoveHoney. One squirt of this lube is enough for about 20-30 minutes of playtime with a stroker (those commenting that the lube dries fast are probably using a cheaper, lower standard lube product, because I did not share the same issue).
I then slid my manhood into the 0.25 inch canal of the neutral opening, and started stroking, slowly at first and gradually building up momentum. With my foreskin retracted, I could feel the ribbing on my sensitive head as the stoker moved up and down along my penis.
The beads also provide additional ribbing-like feeling, especially when you squeeze the stroker a little tighter, with the beads aligned with the sensitive underside part of the penis, which feels amazing. Though I would imagine that men who are circumcised and therefore have a desensitised penis head may not get as much benefit from the beads upon the sensitive head as uncircumcised men would.
With my penis being 6.6 inches, it did obviously pop out of the other end of the 4 inch stroker. I received this striker as part of the advent calendar. It is the first toy designed for male use that we have bought. A step above a normal stroker
Better than your average stroker, in my opinion, but it's probably worth sticking with whatever you currently have if you've already got a stroker. I Had A Feeling About This So I Bought It
I was looking through Lovehoney's Winter Sale & I noticed this, I had a quick read not really taking it all in yet I thought to myself 'I Bet You That's Good?' so I took on my own bet & bought it. Once it arrived I knew it was a winning wager pretty much immediately! It's super stretchy, Really comfortable, I was really surprised to find that the beads were actually metal ball bearings that can move about within a small tube like area built into the actual product (i was just expecting a thicker use of material to create a bead like feel), This leaves the ball bearings space to wonder & they do, Finding really sensitive areas & you find you're moving your fingers into place to keep them there,The ribs on the canal are quite light & sort of hard to feel I found, They are there but only just, The material gives you great control over strength of squeeze which is great and so is poking out of the other (open) end and pulling back in, It is a fine little toy. My initial thought of 'I Bet You That's Good?' was based on my quick initial read about the product with a kind of belief too in Lovehoney's own products including the BASICS & THRUST lines, And they delivered! My only kind of minus thought about this is the ribs on the canal they could be a bit bigger (yes I'm aware it's a LH's BASICS product!, If the ribs were made bigger & this was made clear I would 100% buy again with the little extra added to the price!,Just a thought). If you don't make the mistake of comparing it to a Fleshlight or any other product it can't be compared to (a lot of people do this) You'll find you've got a great product in your hand, Plus it's a very handy paired with a small bottle of lube for the bedside drawer, Or travels, Etc.
A definite first time experience for us
So due to me being away a lot for a while last year I decided to try and treat my man to something special after all I have an array of toys for myself so I thought let me surprise him as I expected there was skepticism on his part but I left it with no pressure. First toy
This was my first round of purchasing toys and my first stroker. I was pretty excited to try it out and it is nice but there are a few things that made me not want to replace it after using. —Material— The material is very flexible. I was expecting it to be slightly more firm. Not a bad thing--just surprised I can squish/bend it so easily. Over several uses I noticed the material started to break down around the opening where most of the stretching will take place. sort of frustrating but it overall it’s fine. I would say I’ve used it close to 15 times and would assume that with proper care and cleaning it will be fine for another 15. —Design— The open endedness is nice. I tried the TENGA Deep Throat Onacup (single use item) and felt like I was stroking half way. This allows you to hold it higher or lower on the penis and gives you more "creative freedom". I think it's important to note it's long enough that it never feels like you're struggling to control it, but not so long that it would easily cover a whole penis. The beads inside it don’t really do anything. I imagine if it was a bit more firm of material they would rub against the penis, however it seems unless you’re gripping them into yourself they don’t add anything—even still I’ve never really noticed them. —Experience/Summary— It can be a little tricky to get lube inside but I have utilized the open endedness to allow it to slide in. Then I just rotate it slowly as I pull it down the penis. This is probably very normal, but sometimes can feel a bit mechanical and take me out of the moment a bit. Being my first sex toy I am glad I purchased it, but I don't think I would replace it with the same one if I needed to. Would recommend to someone who wanted to explore, but not someone who had tried other low-end strokers.
Feels great until it tears
This product felt great, but almost immediately upon using it I got the feeling the beads would start tearing through the soft material. All the beads fell out and eventually the entire thing started to shred itself after only 2 uses. I have used other similar toys and found that this type of material just doesn't have longevity
Didn't last very long
Got this item as it was highly rated and on sale at the time. Was great to start off and feels great to use but unfortunately after just a few uses the material tore which caused the beads to fall out. Only used it 4 times so I was fairly disappointed at how long this lasted.
Amazing first toy - tight for bigger sizes

Great for the short term
When i first received this it was the best thing since sliced bread. Giving earth shattering finishes as well as requiring little lubrication and being very easy to clean. However after about a month the colouration of the stroker started to change even after cleaning thoroughly. Then a small tear has appeared within the area that kept the ball bearings. Allowing for lube and water to get in this gab and producing a fairly grim looking experience. All in all though a very good product just did not stand the test of time.

Surprisingly good

Amazing but fragile

This toy was recieved to us as a product to test so my boyfriend got to work and this is his review. As always it arrived promptly and in discreet packaging. The instructions of a stroker are pretty straight forward; use lube and insert. This is the second stroker that I have tried out and I found this one much more stimulating than the first. It was a lot tighter than my other toy, but combined with the ribbed texture it was extremely pleasurable. It's so tight that it tries to glide off on its own if you let go, so it must be held onto at all times otherwise it will slip off. This means any other activities would have to be done one handed. The beads were also a little bit distracting at times and I'm unsure if they're particularly necessary. Regardless, it brought me to climax very quickly and it was super easy to clean as well. I think for someone of a larger girth you'd maybe have to use more lube, but it is really stretchy and I think if you're bigger in length that also might keep the stroker from sliding a little. Having played around with a few disposable one use eggs I thought it was about time for an upgrade! Put off by the price and gamble of the more expensive types I opted for this as a starter. BASICS Beaded Stroker Neutral
