I've been trying for a number of years to find a way to unlock those mind blowing orgasms people talk about when it comes to prostate stimulation and this is the toy that did it for me.
I think if you go anywhere looking for suggestions for beginner toys for prostate play you will inevitably be directed towards Aneros. It seems from experience now this is for a very good reason!
Not owning any other Aneros toys I had a look through their catalogue and settled on this one. I wanted one that doesn't vibrate but still has a reasonable size as I am used to anal play at this point - though I think it would still be good for beginners it just might feel a little full! Aneros has a guide on their website to help select a model so I highly recommend checking it out.
Now onto the play time. I started this as a solo venture as I wasn't sure what to expect. For others I advise looking up specific instructions on this toys use but it basically boils down to doing kegal exercises. So I pop the toy in and get to work. It takes about 40 mins of work the first time but I then start to experience the warm feeling described by users and the various guides. Great relaxation benefits rather than intense pleasure
The first thing I noticed was how smooth and soft the silicone feels. With the right lubricant it slides in easily, and once it’s in place for me, the size is perfect, enough presence to feel, but still comfortable. Cleaning is simple too.
I’ve only used it solo so far. I haven’t had a full prostate “O” with it, but that’s not a deal breaker. Where this toy really shines is when you have time to slow down. If you can give yourself 30 minutes or more to relax, breathe, and work through pelvic contractions, it offers a really nice, meditative style of massage. I got this toy to learn about my prostate and massage, im not going to lie was definitely sold with the endless super orgasam which I am still yet to have, the advice I have been given is to have no expectations which takes a while to learn but once you do this toy is amazing. Easy to use, hard to master
This toy can be hit or miss depending on your preferences. I've been using bigger, vibrating toys for a while now, so this seemed like it wasn't doing anything at first. If you like toys that aggressively stimulate your prostate, this won't be a good fit.

Prostate heaven
This is my second aneros toy, my first was the progasm ice. I bought this to experiment with something smaller and oh boy did I make the right choice!
Size wise, it's perfect. It is lightweight and hits your prostate while subtly massaging your perineum. What I like about this toy is it's movement is a lot more noticable when contracting your sphincter and pelvic floor muscles and it's not as tiring as the bigger Aneros toys. In this regard, it's great for beginners.
How how do I use it? I typically start my sessions by sliding the toy in with plenty of lube and then very lightly contracting my sphincter and pelvic floor muscles in an alternating rolling pattern. This then creates to a very pleasurable, almost warm, building sensation that leads to involuntary contractions. This then creates a feedback loop of pleasure and contractions and eventually a prostate orgasm. There's a learning curve to this toy but it's worth it.

Effective but underwhelming

A Great Toy For Beginners
Right out of the box, the feel of this toy is very good. When I tried using this for the first time I felt like it was a little hard to insert but took some relaxation and patience. Once inserted it does give a nice feeling of fullness in the right spots, however, there's no bells or whistles to build from. Great toy for training muscles
The Aneros Helix synth a toy designed to serve a very specific function, which gives it a unique look. It is very firm due to the plastic core. The silicone gets rather slick with a bit of lube and is easy to clean after use. The Helix is rather slim and easy to insert.
The Helix synth is designed to move as the pelvic floor muscles are contracted pressing against and rubbing the prostate. It usually takes me a few minutes of contracting and releasing my muscles to get into a rhythm. When my muscles start to tire out I usually grab the base and move the toy manually to continue to simulator my prostate. I haven't had a prostate orgasm with it yet, but it has given me some exceptional blended orgasms. I feel like I get closer with every use and that my muscles are getting stronger.

This is my second Aneros product, my first being the Progasm. After enjoying the Progasm for about 6 months or so I wanted to try out another of Aneros’ products to see if it helped on my path to the fabled HFO.
I’ve only had the Helix Sun Trident a few weeks and only had the chance to use it a few time, but I love it! Being smaller than the Progasm, I thought it might lead to lesser results, but I was wrong. Immediately after trying for the first time I was experiencing intense sensations from the stimulation. A powerful tool for any man
I bought the syn trident after a LOT of research, prostate massagers have definitely become more mainstream and as soon as I heard about them I was curious. Firstly, don't expect this to give you an orgasm on your first few attempts. It definitely takes time and patience. It is not too big so it's easy to insert due to it's design. Make sure you use plenty of lube aswell. You really need to relax once inserted and just follow the instructions contained in the leaflet in the box. There are forums you can visit via Aneros that other users share their experiences and maybe help you on your journey. Overall this is a great massager and is my first. Great toy for newcomers to prostate stimulation
I'm a straight guy who has recently started to explore prostate stimulation. After doing a lot of research about prostate toys, I decided to buy the Aneros Helix Syn Trident. The first time I used it, I was a bit underwhelmed. I wasn't feeling much pleasure from it. While it's marketed as being a hands-free toy, trying to stimulate myself without manually moving the toy wasn't working for me. I decided to try using the toy while standing up. After insertion (and applying plenty of lube to the Syn), the toy naturally rests against the prostate. The technique I used was to move the Syn Trident in and out with my left hand, trying to effectively move the toy back and forth against my prostate. I would switch to my right hand when my left arm was tired, and vice-versa. I realise this may be an unusual method, but it worked for me. I got close to having a prostate orgasm a few times, but couldn't quite get over the finish line. I continued to practise until I eventually had my first orgasm from stimulating my prostate. It was mind-blowing and totally eclipsed even the best penile orgasm I've ever had. The only negatives about the Syn Trident for me are that it would benefit from being a bit larger all around, and the tabs don't really add anything to the toy in my opinion. I would say that overall, the Helix Syn has provided me a positive introduction to prostate stimulation. It's a very good toy for a beginner. Great Product
To start off the quality of this product was amazing and very soft to the touch. I’ve had other p-spot toys that felt extremely sub-par to this one. I do wish it was just a tad bigger to get a more “filling” feel to it but this thing still is great. The real thing.
I have been let down by more than a few toys over the years but this one has inspired me to write my first review of anything anywhere. This is worth every cent. Feels good but is not a quickie
I’ve been excited by the idea of prostate massagers for quite some time, and have used some larger battery operated toys. This is something quite different.
The Aneros Helix is a lot thinner / smaller than the other toys I’ve tried, which makes it ideal for wearing over one periods of time (just make sure you lube up properly).
The real difference is that it has a unique style. This is not a toy to put in, hit that ‘O’ and then get on with the rest of your day. This is a long use / slow burner type experience, building your excitement over a longer period.
I have to admit, I have not yet had a ‘Super O’, although I have tried fairly often to get there. Despite that I do enjoy using this and it does lead to a stronger orgasm. The key is to relax, really relax, and that’s quite difficult to start with.
The toy is really easy to clean, comes in a stylish box and is super easy to use! I’d say it’s ideal for beginners / intermediates in prostate play.

Good sensations
I bought this for my boyfriend as we were allured by the prospect of a hands-free prostate orgasm! After some reading up we decided a prostate toy from the Aneros Helix range would be our best bet. While my boyfriend is somewhat of a beginner in the prostate world, he did feel this toy was on the smaller side and he also felt it did not quite hit the spot. Regardless, he still enjoyed it very much and it was fun to see the toy stimulate him with kegels. The external tabs are great for perineum stimulation and also makes taking the toy out very easy. Not for size queens
I got this after reading a bunch of reviews here and on other sites that gave this rave write ups. It’s a really well designed plug and in theory it should be amazing. The two arms push just the right spots and the shape of the plug means it hits your prostate and sits comfortably inside. The material is solid and high quality. Pretty easy to insert and get in position so I was excited to see what all the fuss was about, but…..nothing. And this isn’t my first prostrate toy, I’ve used plenty and had some amazing experiences. And maybe that’s the thing, I can fit things much bigger than this in my butt so maybe I’m just too much of a size queen for this toy. It might be a good starter plug, albeit it an expensive one, but if you’re a seasoned anal player I would give this a pass.
Don't believe the hype
I was really excited to try this after arriving today. Firstly much smaller than I expected about as long as my index finger and a little thicker and curves in certain places.

Often recommended for beginners, this is the perfect “middle of the road” / starting point for prostate (p-spot) massagers, with some nice pluses.
The silicone treatment lends a “luxurious” quality (in texture, flexibility, and experience).
This product is noticeably “softer” (and thus “kinder”) to the flesh, where the previous ABS plastic lines are notably more “rigid” (but with more “slip” in terms of movement).
This may be a point for or against, depending on your taste & goals.
Having experienced both worlds, I would suggest the Syn versions hold more appeal for long-term wear and use, even if they do take somewhat longer to achieve the same ends as their predecessors.

I have another, cheaper prostate massager that I bought over a year ago from Adam & Eve--an Aneros knockoff. Worked pretty well, but I wondered if this "gold standard" Aneros model would be superior.
It was clear from the packaging, and the construction that this was a "nicer" product. But that's not the real measuring stick is it? So let's move on to trying it out!
At first, I didn't notice much difference. Using it for the first time, it seemed similar to the other one. But I soon noticed that the prostate orgasms with the Aneros, when they came, lasted much longer. They also "recycled" more easily.

zero sensation
Haven't really done any anal play in a few years now, thought this would be perfect to get me back into it, especially because I'm pretty tight again now. I used to really enjoy anal play so I was expecting a lot due to all the great reviews.
My experience was nothing similar at all, following the instructions, inserts fine, even though it took about 10 minutes for me to warm up, start my pelvic floor/sphincter contractions and... nothing. Absolutely no sensation at all, honestly just feels exactly like a butt plug. I put on some relaxing music and spent about 30 minutes squeezing against it and honestly nothing happened. It does say for best results do not touch it, but I didn't get a single bit of prostate stimulation whatsoever.
I can't recommend it at all; just buy a butt plug and you get the exact same thing for half the price.
Disappointing - not worth the money
The arms are pretty pointless. Very small toy that really doesn't hit the spot like advertised. Incredibly disappointing and you can find much better toys for less money. Avoid.

The wife and I were looking at trying something different. After searching lovehoney we decided to give the Aneros Helix a try. We were so excited about this product that we even paid for next day delivery. It duly came the next day, as promised. As you would expect the outer packaging was completely discreet. Once this is discarded, the product comes in a really well presented box. Inside the box, is the product and a “guide page” in order to give the user some info on prostate play. I’ve had one of the white a plastic aneros for years and just about given up on it. I mean it feels fine when it’s in, and I was doing what I thought I’d was supposed to be doing (clenching to draw it in and releasing) and it felt alright but never anything like I’ve heard other people explain. I’ve tried and tried but never got to magic point people rave about or like I’ve seen in porn when the guys body is practically convulsing. at first i loved the fact that the size of the aneros helix was a average As it being my first try using a prostate massager yet alone a anal toy. Very easy to insert and the silicone feel is pretty comfortable. i've used it around 10 times , but unfortunatly i never managed to properly feel any sensations at all. when asking other friends that have used it and sworn by it , they said it might be that the size of the shaft is small for me and is not properly hitting the p spot. i felt a bit sad as i heard so many great reviews about it. Good feeling but can’t quite get there
So after some research, I decided to give this one a go. A bit a water based lube and this toys was in with no problem. I believe this one is great for the beginner looking for some prostate play. Personally, I think it could be a touch bigger. Outside of this, I thought I was decent. I use it sometimes with the wife and it stays in place with some decent pressure. Overall decent toy with easy clean up.
My First Prostate Toy
I was fairly new to the world of prostate stimulation so I spent a good amount of time researching toys for a beginner. The Trident was consistently recommended as the best one. I am glad I purchased the toy but also a little disappointed... The most unique toy I've ever used
This toy is the strangest thing I've ever tried. It's pretty costly but it offers the opportunity to have mind melting prostate orgasms so what did I think of it?Well when combined with masturbation this is INTENSE. A great little addition to get the most out of intercourse
Its a good "entry" level prostate massager. Its easy to insert and remove via the plastic grip and does stay in place for as long as its needed. Its small, which means that you can still move completely freely without it fall in out/catching etc. It was a tad pricey when I purchased it, but has now dropped in price. I found it best to use it during intercourse, and clench my inner muscles around it for heightened stimulation and extra potency. What's the fuss about?
I had this toy in my wish list for a while now and when love honey did a 50% off sale i thought now would be the perfect time to try it. Im glad i waited because if i had paid full price for this toy i would have been extremely p***ed off!!! The toy fits absolutely fine and is extremely well made dont get me wrong but i dont feel a thing. Nothing... i dont feel like its in there and i most certainly dont feel any kind of pleasure!! I have even gone onto the Aneros wiki page to get the “best advice” and it states on there “can take up to a year to achieve results”!!!! Whats the point in that??? Packaging is great quality, the feel of the toy itself is of course good quality. I just dont see what all the fuss is about. I had hoped this would live up to the hype of Aneros products but I am afraid I was disappointed. It's okay I guess
I'm still new to prostate massagers. I got this one to check it out. It's... ok. I'm still getting used to it. I have had this the aneros helix syn for a few weeks now and I can say that it has opened my eyes up to a whole new sexual dimension. This was the first prostate massager I bought and one that I am still very fond of. The shape is awesome and it's very easy to get used to. Having tried several others this stays in without any issues. Having used this for my first every prostate massager it comes with an instructional booklet about the best way to insert it. This brand do a vibrating version which costs a lot more and for someone more experienced I would recommend that one, but for a beginner this is perfect.

I had high hopes for this and I've given it a few months before posting but it just doesn't do it for me. Good but not for taller men

Aneros Helix Syn Silicone Prostate Massager
I ordered this as my first "prostate massager" and was not entirely sure what to expect. A little shorty
I'm not sure what I make of this toy to be honest, but let's back up a bit and I'll explain. I'm getting to that age were the wife start talking about prostate checks and the like. As a straight married guy who's only venture into the backdoor before had been the odd finger and a small plug; the glass one I bought failed to make entry as my body would refuse point blank to take it. The packaging for the toy is well done and as a straight guy, I was thankfully it wasn't pink or something. I'd done some further research on using the Syn and so when the first opportunity arose, I cleaned up, showered and headed to the bedroom with the toy in one hand and lube in the other. I lay on the bed on a towel and relaxed for a while before applying some lube to my anus and after a couple of minutes applied more lube internally using my finger. The Syn relies on floating on a bed of lube, so I don't think you can use to much, make your own call on that. After lubing the toy, I placed it against my anus and without to much effort it popped in. The Syn is quite narrow and your sphincter muscles will pull it into your body. At this point I lay there to allow my body to get used to it and to be fair there was no discomfort at all. The trick now was to use the muscles you use to stop your pee mid flow, to pull the Syn up and then release them so it drops down again during which it rubs your prostate. It was at this point I realised that the Syn is a little shorter than what I need. I can get to nudge my prostrate but only if I engage my buttock muscles and thrust my hips, which becomes quite tiring after a bit. The sensation when it hits the spot are lovely, but hitting the spot consistently enough to build the momentum to orgasm I were I struggle with the Syn, which is so disappointing. In summary, it will work for those whose prostate sits within the length this reaches, but if your like me and your just a quarter of an inch too high, then you maybe frustrated and left looking for a longer toy. Looking to get some practice in, and hopefully broaden my solo game, I first ordered the Aneros MGX. The MGX is a great starter aneros. Its from the original white, hard plastic line and give you a good idea about where you can eventually go with these devices. Personally, after reading a lot of other feedback, it seems that there may be some differences in where each mans P spot is. I think the MGX was a tad shallow for me, a taller male. (6'2) I ordered the helix sun next, as it boasts a longer insertable length. The device has several improvements over the basic white aneros line. The item is still rigid, but has a slight malleability to it. The best improvement was the easing off off the P Tab, the ball at the front. On the MGX, upon full insert, I found the hard P tab almost felt sharp against the gooch. This one has almost a rubbery arm and offers far less pressure, which I like. With regard to insertable length, if you look at the picture of this toy, the part below about the handle, not the first indent, but the broader second one is where it sits in your ass. So the practical insertable length isn't any more than the MGX. Luckily though, the head is a different shape and seems to hit the prostate, maybe being a bit more bulbous is what does it. How does it feel with aneros on the prostate? Almost a sweet, gentle warm and happy feeling which I get radiating toward my thigh on either side. I use it lying on my back with my knees up. I haven't yet had the super handsfree Orgasm (check the porn sites for videos of what they look like!) but its certainly pleasant. The toy is designed to be put in and not touched with hands again until its pulled out. Your body will relax around it and begin to steer it where it needs to go. I find if I give a few clenches from time to time, and use that muscles which you use to 'tense' an erection, it gives it a bit of a headstart. If you're into facials or that sort of thing, these are great for building volume. The material is a soft silicone. It feels nice to the touch, but is a bit grippier than the standard plastic. You will need to use a bit more lube with this one than the others. The only knock I can give this particular toy is that the material seems to retain a bit of a smell. Nothing a longer soak in the love honey toy cleaner won't fix, but its something I noticed. Overall, this is a great starter aneros. If you are really unsure about prostate location and such, maybe try a bigger one like the programs, which will almost definitely hit where it needs to. This one is for more subtle or invested sessions. And its terrific at it. Ive since got the programs and I use them both about as much as the other, for the different sensations they offer.
A fantastic toy

Disappointing
Read a lot of really good things about this before I bought it. Saw all the reviews praising it, had it recommended by a friend. When I eventually decided to splurge the cash on it. It arrived, I did everything it said, sat patiently and trying to get in to the mood, waiting and waiting (I was told it can take quite some time) and after half an hour, nothing. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried a few more times, but the best I could ever get out of it was a small tingling sensation and nothing better that made masturbation a little more enjoyable. I don't think it even reached my prostate. All in all it met its fate in a box returned to LH for a refund. Very disappointing. Don't let this review discourage you though, I hear it's very much a person-to-person basis and you can off course return it if it isn't for you.
Great for the dedicated sexplorer
I became interested in the idea of prostate massage after reading up on why it felt so good to have the area between my scrotum and anus rubbed and tickled. Turns out the nerves there are linked to the prostate. After doing a bit of further reading up on prostate massage, I decided to buy the Aneros Helix Syn. The toy is of very high quality and very comfortable to insert (lube is a must!) and wear. I think the instructions provided leave a little to be desired, but the aneros website has a wealth of information and user tips. Don't expect instant results from this toy, you have to be prepared to spend some time getting used to the sensations and learning how to encourage them. Well worth the cost (if you can wait for results)
This was my first prostate toy (or anal toy), but I'd been wanting to get one for a long time. I was already fairly experienced with fingers, just not with any toys. It took a bit of effort to get in the first couple of times, after that it was pretty easy, made easier by the really smooth feel (almost silky smooth) of the silicone. I was only using spit instead of actual lube as well. It feels a bit strange once it's first in, and a good 3-4 sessions with it to get good results. I found that the first couple of times I felt almost nothing, but now I'm able to orgasm (but not ejaculate) 9/10 times I use it. It usually takes anywhere between 10 and 30 minutes for me to orgasm from this toy, sometimes multiple times. They're just WAY better than anything else I've felt as well. It took me a while to get used to using the toy "hands-free", but like with fitting it in, it only took a couple of sessions. After a couple of minutes of consciously moving my muscles it'll start doing it's own thing, so I don't have to think about it, just lay there. The perineum tab wasn't very distracting, but I didn't think it added to the pleasure either. It was just there, I didn't really notice it during use. Something for me

Superb

A prostate massager which really works
I've previously tried the original Helix, but found the perineum tab very hard (to the point of painful) and insertion/removal unpleasant due to the rigidity of the material. Both of these distracted from the prostate sensations, so apart from the raging erection (due to pressure on the prostate) and slightly enhanced normal orgasm it was a bust. The Helix Syn on the other hand is pure pleasure. Like the original Helix its packaged smartly and comes with basic instructions. The moment you look at the Syn you notice the difference and when you feel it they are worlds apart. The Syn is covered in a soft (its still very firm, but soft to the touch) and smooth silicon, the perineum tab also has a coating and moves much more freely (still applies pressure). This is massively different to the original which is hard and had a harsh (for me atleast) perineum tab. Insertion is the same (always use lots of a good lube), relax, massage it in half way and it does the rest. Due to the silicon covering any lubricant holds onto the toy better and the soft covering is much more welcome. Once in position the silicon really shines, its a much more delicate and enjoyable feeling against the prostate. The movement in the perineum tab allows the massager to move easily and smoothly, while still giving it something to pivot against. Within 30 minutes or so the massager did something amazing. It has a finger loop to help keep hold of it during use, and has a rigid plastic arm with a rounded tip – this rests on the perineum during use. I think it looks like a very masculine toy, nice deep dark colours, and the silicone on the outside doesn’t feel like the really soft silky silicone I normally expect from a silicone toy – but it didn’t feel wholly unpleasant either. How to use: Unlike dildo’s and vibrating prostate toys, the Aneros is designed to be used a little bit differently. Instead of thrusting or moving the toy in an out with your hands, the idea is to use your pelvic floor muscles to help ‘move’ the toy. Summary: To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this particular toy. After applying a lot of water based anal lubricant, I found it easy to insert as I was relaxed, which is important. It positioned itself inside and didn't feel uncomfortable. Great product and new experiences
I was a little unsure of exactly what to expect when I purchased this item. I’d done some reading about how great this toy can feel and the ‘Super-orgasms’ it can give you (it’s well worth looking up the Aneros wiki on Google). When the Helix arrived, it was nicely packaged and it really feels like a premium product which you would expect from the price tag. The toy is soft to the touch but solid if you give it a squeeze. After applying a lot of lube per the instructions, it was really easy to insert and it positioned itself once I had given it an initial push. The thing to remember here is to just relax and enjoy the experience. I initially made the mistake of overworking the toy (you move it by making anal contractions) and trying hard to give myself an orgasm – I really didn’t get anywhere doing this. Once I relaxed and just enjoyed the ride, it was brilliant. What start as really subtle flutters turn into really strong contractions and then what must be the longest sustained orgasms I have ever had. Awesome for the Super-O/MMO
This was my first Aneros model and I got it because I had heard about the Male Multiple Orgasm and the Super-O and just thought I had to get in on that business. The Helix Syn did not disappoint! Aneros Helix Syn
First Impressions Before purchasing this particular model I really wasn't sure which prostate massager I should pick as a beginner. However after doing a little research using Lovehoney's very helpful buyers guide I found that the bigger the head of the massager the easier it is to find the prostate gland, so with this in mind I recommend if you are a beginner like I was you chose a prostate massager with a bigger head. The Helix Syn is an updated version of the original Aneros product the Helix. I haven't seen the original Helix so I can't confirm what the difference is but from reading the other reviews it seems the difference is that this massager is covered in soft silicone and that the handle and p-tab are made from a softer plastic. When it comes to the packaging the box that the massager comes in is very well designed and made. Outside there is what you would expect with a picture of the product and some text explaining what the product is. The box (inside the initial packaging) is held closed with magnets, so it is unlikely to open of its own accord. My Experience I have used this toy a couple of times now and still have not achieved the big O (...this is something I was expecting as achieving this takes time and practice) it can be a little deflating not to be able to reach it, but I am not discouraged because if everything I have read is true the end result will be well worth the wait. The insertable length is 4 inches long and is made from high grade silicone which means that it is very soft to the touch. Inserting the massager is exactly the same as inserting a butt plug (despite being larger at head compared to a butt plug) and providing your using plenty of lube there should not be a problem. The instructions state that you should keep the p-tab dry to avoid it slipping once the massager is fully inserted. Personally and perhaps because I use a good amount of lube I find that I have to occasionally wipe excess lube from the p-tab, but this is simple hassle free. I have had the toy inserted for varying periods of time up to and over an hour and have had no discomfort to report of. The only real issue comes from when go sit down with the toy inserted, the curved handle to the massager means that when you sit on a particularly hard surface it can be difficult to find a comfortable sitting position (it's not so bad when sitting on a soft surface such as a bed for example). Worth every penny
I consider myself fairly sexually open. There’s very little I wouldn’t consider trying and so when my OH mentioned that he was quite curious about the idea of pegging I did a bit of research. The product is easy to clean and maintain and although we don’t use it all the time it is nice to spice things up with a little extra kick. I’d recommend it to both first timers and experienced anal players.
First experience - very very interesting
my first experience of prostate massagers - I read loads of reviews and comments on websites and decided to try it out! Hit the spot
Bought this one after trying the original Aneros Helix. I have to say WOW! The original was a bit intense (almost painful) for my body. This one was much more comfortable, and hit just the right spot. Tried it alone first, then while I was with my wife the second time. With a little help from her, I hit the magic "super O" three times before finishing with a bang. Now I am finally on par with her multiple O's. My only complaint is that you shouldn't use silicone lube with it, as it is a silicone coated toy. Water based lube is quickly absurbed, making it more challenging to remove. Otherwise, Aneros hit a home run with this version!!
An improvement in the Aneros line
A lovely upgrade to the Aneros line, the new Helix Syn has the following differences to the Original Helix : 1) the body and P-tab are covered in soft silicone 2) the P-tab and handle are made from a softer and more flexible plastic. The main body remains as rigid as the Original. 3) although you can't see it in the photos, the Syn is 1mm smaller at it's narrowest point, and the top section is 1mm more bulbous producing a slightly more refined shape (as viewed from the front). Overall, it almost identical to the original but far softer, a fractionally better shape and so much more comfortable ;-)
