I finally convinced myself to buy what most people see as the holy grail of orifice-d male sex toys. I’m glad I did!
On first impressions, the sleeve material is softer and stretchier than I thought it would be. It strikes the middle between the softness of labia and rigidity (relatively speaking) of a vagina. This has quite an impact on the intensity, as I mention further on. The outer, plastic housing is definitely not the part where Fleshlight spent the dollars; but it’s sturdy, ergonomic and does the job.
Since I don’t have another sleeve to compare it to, I based my judgement off the other reviews. When using it, it took a moment to find the right lube consistency and amount, and it felt uniquely incredible. Thinner, more watery lubes felt far more realistic and prevented too much friction (and therefore overstretching of the sleeve).
However, it was not as intense as otherwise proclaimed. I’m able to bring myself to orgasm with my hand in 1-2 minutes if I’m not careful, so I don’t immediately attribute this to a lack of sensitivity on my part. I thought the beginning section of the inner texture was the most satisfying, but I wasn’t always able to tell if I had moved past the tight middle section into the end.
My theory as to why I don’t find this particular sleeve mouthwateringly realistic and intense involves two points. The first is my size. I’m on the girthier end at 5.5” circumference. Somewhat counterintuitively, this stretches the inner texture out too much such that it looses its detail, reducing its impact. The second point is how thin the actual sleeve is. This means there is way too much forgiveness, allowing the texture to melt away.
Fleshlight could solve this by thickening the entire length of the sleeve, and maybe increasing the rigidity of the material used inside the sleeve. Which is to say that if Fleshlight ever came out with dual-density sleeve, you know who would be the first to buy it!
That being said, I will definitely be using this toy often. Stuck under some heavy pillows or wedged between the mattress and the bed-frame allows for some hands-free masturbation and some hip flexor exercise, which is not something you can get from most other toys.
