Not Beginner-Friendly and Hard to Master
This massager feels comfortable once in place, and the vibrations have both weaker and stronger settings depending on what you prefer. However, I didn’t get much out of it overall. To really use this properly, you need good control of your pelvic muscles, which makes it a poor choice for beginners.
For me, it never consistently hit the prostate, and that made the experience underwhelming. If you’re looking for something that provides constant, reliable stimulation, I’d recommend alternatives like the Njoy or even a double-sided glass dildo, which are much easier to use.
Underwhelming
I have been using the Lovehoney P-Stroke massager and have felt close to achieving an anal orgasm. I got the Helix Syn in hope that this would push me over the edge. Sadly the opposite has been true. I read that beginners should be cautious of the vibration intensity but I couldn't believe how gentle it was, I was immediately disappointed. We're all wired differently I guess and maybe it's more me than the product, but the more obvious thrusts and intensity of the cheaper P-stroke just work much better for me than the subtlety of the Helix. I have given it lots of time and attempts before reviewing, trying different meditative methods to achieve orgasm, but as yet I haven't felt close with this thing. Notably, it doesn't really reach my prostate, and I'm usually only able to handle small sizes. On the plus side - it feels quality to touch/handle, inserts smoothly and by far the best thing - it locks in, no sliding out at all - a first for any anal products I've owned. I will persevere with this, I acknowledge I don't have the skills, but for now I don't see what it gives over any cheap vibrator. Oh and the charging. . . is temperamental. I like how it connects, but it may be faulty, I have to press it down harder sometimes, and often it will start charging and then stop and again I have to press it down.

Well, packaged and discreetly shipped. The instruction manual could provide more detail about usage, but there’s plenty on the website. After about an hour of not feeling anything without vibration, I was ready to call it a day.

The Syn V is based on the helix model, which is the model suggested to all beginners. It has a soft feeling material, a bulbous head for greater surface area of pleasure and the arms/tabs for added slight pressure.

With this toy when you switch it on it starts on the quietest setting which is a constant vibration through the whole toy, patterns 2 and 7 are Very Quiet on the lowest power setting, pattern 8 is a blend of patterns 1 through 7 ( turn it up and lay back and relax!) The battery life is great, on the lowest setting It lasts about 6/7hours, on highest setting only an hour or 2 (depending on which patterns you’re using), 90 minutes charge time, I’ve had mine for 11 months and the battery is still running fine. It’s not meant to be used in a seated position,( I have best results lying on my back), but you can wear it like a buttplug and just keep it in all day if you like! You can use a condom over the top of the toy easily with a small piece of toilet tissue folded into a square over the metal charge points if you haven’t had time to douche to make cleaning even easier too! This thing is wonderful! Each vibration has 3 levels of intensity, and I find that I prefer the lowest level. The P-tab hits my spot perfectly. while the length and girth just feel right. I was hoping this device would live up to the hype given its design and all the great reviews. For me personally I have been searching for the best hands free p-spot O. This did not deliver that although it does feel great it just doesn’t do it for me. I have other non name brand toys that do as well if not better. The vibes are strong it stays in place cleans up easy but still won’t be the first toy I pull out of my toy chest. I was really hoping for a better experience. Btw I’m a very experienced toy user. I am an experienced Aneros user and I was excited to try Aneros with vibration. This toy definitely did not disappoint!! The silicone coating is super comfortable both inserting and inside. So I’m gonna first start by saying that I love the shape of this toy perfectly shaped for prostate play not too big not too small. The vibrations on the small toy are absolutely astronomical. I believe if I’m not mistaken there are about 10 different vibrations. The handle makes it easy to control an insert as well as remove. And I love the material, the material is absolutely great super smooth no ridges nice texture. Another feature that I wanna point out as a charging port which is super easy magnetic snap too easy to charge. I also noticed that it charges extremely quickly and the battery lasts a very long time at least four hours but it probably goes a lot more. The only thing I could really make this toy better if it had a remote to control the vibrations overall one of the best prostate massagers that I’ve used.

As the other reviewer has said, it took it's time to get to the UK but finally it's here, and it was worth the wait!
Onto the packaging, it's relatively simple but showcases the product and does give a hint of the quality of the product. The internal box in the packaging can be used as a storage box like other Aneros products, it closes with a magnet so it's handy to have if you're struggling to store more toys.
Inside the box you'll get the massager itself alongside the charging cable which magnetically attaches to the massager and is USB so can be charged via a laptop or whatever you desire.
The size is perfect for those new to prostate play but isn't too small for someone experienced. The shape is PERFECT, I had good sensations with the normal Helix Trident, however I struggled to get past a certain point (Involuntary contractions). The Helix Syn V is ever so slightly larger and that I think is what gets it to hit the spot more consistently.
So onto usage, I first used a lube shooter to ensure there was a generous amount of lube internally as well as lubed up the toy. I thoroughly recommend using a lube shooter as this massager is "manual" in the sense that contractions and muscle movements cause the toy itself to move. Internally applied lube makes for a much more enjoyable experience as the toy is far more mobile and provides more sensations for longer. Once inside I just relaxed and after a minute the toy and anal muscles started to have a mind of their own. This was very pleasurable and would've been great on its own, the toy was slightly going in and out giving a great massage.
The manual massage itself is amazing, however what sets this apart is the vibrations. I have bought numerous other vibrating massagers from Lovense/Nexus and they have their niche, usually the vibrations are far more aggressive and as such are very pleasurable but ends up numbing me out after a few minutes. This toy is tuned so that the vibrations do not cause this numbing effect. After turning on the vibrations I was hit with an immediate wave of pleasure that rolled into what I think was my first ever P-wave. The vibrations are not only extremely pleasurable sitting on the spot, but they also cause great pleasure to the anal muscles which cause them to dance about causing the toy to move around more and more, it can be an amplifying cycle.
I've not yet had a prostate orgasm from anything, however I suspect with a few more uses of this toy I'll hit one. Even if I don't, the sensations this toy brings are out of this world. Worth every penny spent.
I'll note that there are 3 vibration levels with multiple different patterns, the lowest and middle levels are great and seem to be what is best for me, I'm not a fan of patterns in general so can't comment on those!
Word of advice for those on the market for a vibrating massager, I say skip the others and go directly for this. I knew this toy existed, but I couldn't purchase it in the UK so went for alternatives from big brands, however in the end this was by far the best! (The others have their time and place though)

Full disclosure, I was sent this by LH for a review, my review is not in any way influenced by this fact, it is entirely unbiased and honest.
I was really excited to get this to test, as the original white plastic Aneros Helix has been, since the start of my adventure, my go to prostate toy. It is without a doubt the most effective toy I own at finding and working my prostate, adding vibration and a silicone finish could only be a good thing I figured.
I was absolutely right! Firstly, the toy comes in the expected high quality packaging from Aneros, very classy, black and red very nicely presented looks like the sort of packaging you'd expect to get a high quality piece of tech in. The quality of the toy itself is typically high too, really smooth finish, and the innovative charging system is great. It uses a magnetic connector, which ensures the device is waterproof and therefore super-simple to clean, but the connector has a sort of cradle so that the device sits firmly in it, rather than falling off all the time like some other toys with magnetic connectors, well thought out.
The toy is pretty much the same dimensions and shape as the original, which is great, as it just works, why change it if it isn't broken. However, the vibration feature is amazing. Just how they've managed to pack all that in there is beyond me. The controls are super simple, and the vibrations incredible, with controls for intensity and patterns. I was hoping that the addition of vibrations to a toy that was already expert at finding the prostate would be a win, and I wasn't wrong, it's just fantastic. I actually tend to stick to the lower intensity, as for me at least, prostate play is a "long game", so having a low buzz rather than an insane level keeps things going without causing sensitivity loss and numbness.
All in all, I truly can't recommend this toy enough, it is without a doubt the new top dog in my collection, and one I'll be returning to very frequently, I might even retire my old original Helix.

At last this little devil is shipping to the UK. Goodness knows how so much clever stuff fits inside such a small device, brilliant engineering. The V is just slightly larger than its predecessor but it immediately felt like an old friend. Charging is very simple, no explanation needed here. I scrolled through the various settings, 24 in total and then it was time for business. Lube and relaxation as always prior to insertion. Just like the previous model, the V slips in comfortably and immediately finds its position. I resisted the temptation to power up immediately and managed 10 minutes of trying to lie back quietly. The truth is I was shaking with excitement and anticipation and already things were starting to happen. I then pressed the on button and a very gentle constant vibration came into play. All 8 settings are great and the feelings were exquisite. Holding the button for two seconds takes the V to the next level of power and you can then run through the 8 patterns again. Golly, things are really happening and uncontrollable jolts and gasps of pleasure are flowing through my entire lower body. Precum is oozing from my still flaccid penis and I use some to lubricate my nipples which I then gently caress. This takes things to another level and things are now really building. Another two second press and I’m up to maximum power, almost too much but I can take it. I’m almost sobbing with pure joy as I reach for my Cobre Libre which I place on my now twitching penis and then it happens, a build up of intense pressure from deep inside me and then a minute later the release as both prostate and penis pump in blissful unison.
