The curve is a modest size and length. There is some texture to the material beyond the obvious bumps, but with the right lube will slide in nicesly. The curve is squishier than expected. I was expecting something a bit firmer, as the curve is also sold is "soft" elsewhere. However, it is plenty rigid enough for insertion and targeting the g or p spot. The tip looks concerningly pointy, but is not stabby. It was a bit longer than expected. The base is very large making it easy to use with your hands.

Starter Dildo

I've had my eye on the Tantus Curve for a while; it gets consistently good reviews and I've recently got into textured dildos. PACKAGING It's packaging is relatively basic, bright and colourful, and has a clear window to the front displaying the dildo. It doesn't look posh or luxurious, and I haven't kept it for storage (it's too big for my drawer for a start!). It doesn't come with a storage bag so I bought the small Lovehoney satin drawstring bag and it fits perfectly in there. THE DILDO The Tantus Curve is a stunning midnight purple shade with a slightly sparkly finish. It's made of Tantus' unique formula of 100% ultra-premium silicone. I was keen to experience this material and I must say it feels absolutely divine; soft to the touch, with a beautiful silky texture. The Curve isn't just a clever name - it has a very steep curve to help find your g-spot (or p-spot if used anally) and it has some light, gentle ridges to add texture. It's smaller than I was expecting but the ridges make up for the lack of size. The head is slightly bulbed, and has a very tapered tip. It is fairly flexible; you can bend it but it retains its shape. Weight wise, it's quite heavy but not enough to make your hand ache too much. My Tantus stash has grown substantially since then, purely because my experience with the Curve was so good. I’d ordered it on Christmas Day, so I was expecting to wait a while for the delivery, but Lovehoney had it with me in the usual discreet style, just a few days into the New Year, even despite the Christmas rush. Fantastic service as always, thank you! The Curve itself arrived packaged in typical Tantus fashion, a simple cardboard sleeve with a see-through window and a bunch of information about the toy and brand on the back. Tantus are a trustworthy and respected brand in the industry because they make all of their products from a unique formula of ultra-premium silicone, which is hypoallergenic, body-safe and non-toxic. Their products are boilable and dishwasher safe, so you can get an extra thorough clean if you wish, or you can simply spritz with toy cleaner and rinse, which is fine if you’re not switching between partners and/or orifices. This toy does attract crazy amounts of lint, so washing before each use is definitely advised. The Curve is a rather firm dildo, that still offers some flexibility. I cannot bend it to the point where the head touches the base, but I can adjust it enough to work with my anatomy. I don’t think this toy has much squish to it at all, so a coating of water-based lubricant is essential for me to use this happily. The silicone has a bit of a drag to it, so again lubricant makes using the toy much more comfortable and enjoyable. The Curve is probably one of my top five dildos of all time, purely because it fits my criteria down to the letter. It has my desired insertable length which is usually somewhere between 5-7 inches, depending on how generous my cervix is feeling that day. Acute curve
Tantus products have rarely disappointed me; they're high-quality, well made dildos and plugs and cock rings made to last, and nearly every product I have from them has a designated place in my sex toy cabinet. The Curve is no different, except I lusted after this one for about two years before I finally got my hands on one. Good things come to those who wait, at least? The finish on the Curve is unlike any other Tantus product I've been lucky enough to fondle - it has a velvet finish that's smooth without being uncomfortably draggy. The base, however, is so shiny it's reflective, which is useless but kinda cool nonetheless. It also has very little flex, and if you like your insertables to be soft and forgiving then I'd maybe away from this one as it's definitely on the firm side. The Curve has an outwards and upwards slope that's most pronounced near the base, a gently pointed tip and widely-spaced ribs that straddle the line between standard smoothie and bumpier than a country lane very nicely. I initially found the combination of the girth and the firmness difficult to deal with and nearly gave up, but after some good hard work and perseverance (lube, guys, lots of lube) things went swimmingly. It didn't do much in the way of g-spot stimulation, but the feel of the ridges moving back and forth is really unique - in a good way, not a backhanded compliment way - while feeling pleasantly filling at the same time. Not exactly size monarch status, but a little stretch never hurt me. Where the Curve really shines though, is as a strap-on dildo - while it's nice enough using it on myself, it's somehow so much better in a harness. The Tantus Curve I ordered arrived two days earlier than stated by LoveHoney, a pleasant surprise. The box itself is a joy to look at, and immediately tells you you've ordered a quality product. This is confirmed when you get your hands on the toy itself. It feels nice to hold and has a silky smooth surface. The base easily suctions itself to smooth areas, however I haven't tested this specific functionality myself thoroughly. Me and my girlfriend definitely had fun doing some exploration with the product though, it hit quite a few right spots. The Curve isn't huge but it does fill you up a bit. If you're new to toys you might want to try something smaller, however when you can handle this toy it will definitely be a good experience. The toy doesn't come with a storage bag, I can suggest a zip-lock bag because it does tend to attract some dust to its surface.

Brilliant Dildo, Well Worth The £ Upgrade
If you're looking for a wonderfully designed dildo, you need look no further. It scores highly on all fronts as it is made from high quality hypo-allergenic silicone, looks wonderful and feels even better. I enjoy the look of this dildo as the colour choices are sophisticated (I chose black, of course) and the design is somewhat realistic but not so much that it's tacky or intimidating. Equally, the silicone is firm and gives pressure where you need it, yet has enough flexibility to be comfortable against the body. In the last couple of years I've discovered that I can 'squirt'/'female ejaculate', and this dildo certainly makes it easier, as the combination of the curved shape and the ridges is amazing. Compared to some other dildos, this one comes with a particularly solid and relatively large base. I've found that the ridge at the top of the shaft is positioned perfectly for clitoral stimulation, whether a partner is wearing this dildo in a harness or I'm grinding on top of it (helps to pop a pillow underneath you and the dildo for this). The combination of being able to grind on the base with it inside you or thrust it has lead to a lot of 'combined' or intense orgasms for me. Oh what a night! This dildo arrived just in time for my girlfriend and I’s valentine’s holiday away. When we first received it, we were really quite impressed with the quality of the material and the general feel of it. I really would proudly display it, it is a really ‘pretty’ toy and you can tell that it is well made. I loved the feel of it; soft and almost velvet-y and couldn’t wait to use it. We used it with a Thong Strap On Harness, which had no O-Ring but a simple opening. I thought, when purchasing the dildo that this would be fine as the spec stated that it could be used with any harnesses and in the past, as long as the dildo had a flared base, there weren’t any issues. I was unfortunately mistaken and this dildo did come out of the harness during some of our more vigorous moves. I would certainly not say that this was a negative of the toy, just pointing out that it would require an O-Ring, if going to be used with a harness. This is now something we are currently shopping for, a new harness to accommodate our lovely new Tantus dildo as my partner did thoroughly enjoy it. We used this in a harness and even though the base is rather chunky, it works all the same. My first silicone toy
I bought the Tantus Curve a few days ago to replace my other dildos, which I've only ever been able to use a handful of times; I discovered a couple of years ago that I'm actually quite allergic to latex, and having tried in vain with alternatives like jelly and skin-safe rubber for a long time, I had pretty much given up with dildos as they were just too uncomfortable. I was shopping for toys to help ease the strain on my hands and arms during solo play (RSI can be a real turn-off), and decided I'd give the Curve a try after reading about silicone toys. The Curve is what I'd describe as a semi-realistic dildo, with a naturally shaped tip and a smooth, ridged shaft; as the name suggests, it has a curve which is great for stimulating the G spot, and is a comparable size to the real thing. It's made of “platinum” grade silicone, which is free from latex, rubber and phthalates, in a pretty shade of aubergine with a matte, velvety texture and a subtle opalescent sheen when it catches the light. As there's not much in the way of information in or on the box, it's a good idea to read up on how to properly use and care for silicone toys if you've never used one before. For example, it's important to only use water-based lubricants with the Curve, as oil or silicone-based lubes can cause the silicone to break down, reducing the lifespan of your toy. That said, the Curve is very easy to maintain. Cleaning can be done with hot soapy water or a bit of diluted bleach, and it's apparently also safe to put it in the dishwasher. This material does tend to attract a lot of fluff, so I'd recommend letting the Curve air dry after washing and keeping it in a box or pouch where it won't get dusty. Unfortunately the Curve doesn't come with a storage pouch – since they're marketing this as a premium toy, Tantus should probably have included a little pouch or a nicer box to keep the toy in. The only feature I felt the Curve was really lacking is some way of attaching a suction cup, as although the base is flared – making it perfect for use with a harness as a strap-on – it's also completely solid. I found the Curve had a tendency to swivel round at an uncomfortable angle if I didn't hold on to the base, so it's difficult to get a hands-free experience with this toy. I would have much preferred the Curve to have had a hollow section in the base to make it compatible with the Tantus suction cup accessory. I'm now very eager to try some of the other Tantus toys, having been convinced that all the hype I've heard about silicone dildos is actually true; although they're more expensive than latex or jelly, silicone toys like the Curve don't just feel amazing – they're durable, hypo-allergenic, and with proper care, can last a lifetime. If you're thinking of trying silicone for the first time, or are looking for a realistic dildo to add to your toy box, I can't recommend the Curve enough - it's an excellent all-round choice for both vaginal and anal play, whether it's with a partner or flying solo.
Curve hits the spot
We purchased the Tantus Curve as the ‘next step up’ dildo, we already have the Tantus Bend Over Beginner Harness Dildo Kit and wanted to try a bigger and better dildo, we selected this dildo due to the excellent quality of Tantus products and the idea it could hit the Pspot. This item came quickly and discreetly as always with Lovehoney orders. Thank you, Lovehoney. Looks and design. Once again the Tantus Curve is an example of top quality material and work. The material is nice to touch, being firm but not to firm, you can tell by looking and feeling it the quality of the material. The shape is good, not to curved but a definite curve, its girth is bigger than we imagined (about the same size as C erect) but not too big. Lastly the purple colour is always a good colour for a dildo. Use. In use it fit perfectly into the Tantus bend over beginners harness. H said it was easy to use in the harness as a Strapon. For C It took a bit of getting used to the girth, but once that was over then it is great to use, it’s the perfect length and just the right girth for me, it fills me completely. It hits what I can only assume is my Pspot and has been even able to produce a hands free orgasm; it’s an excellent dildo for pegging use. I was very surprised to receive an email from lovehoney to tell me that they had selected this for me to review as a freebie. I am a huge fan of silicone dildos and vibrators, in particular the 'Tantus' range from which I now own quite a few of and am still continuing my collection, and am very proud indeed to add this to it! I had been looking at it on the LH site for ages and was in two minds as to if I should buy it, as it seemed different to my other tantus dildos/vibrators and didn't seem like a good size and that it would be maybe too small for me. It seemed quite good for people who prefer a more petite dildo, but it turned out that I was completely wrong and was very pleasantly pleased and surprised when I received it and looked at it in the flesh! It looked better out of the box than it does online or in the box, and came in a lovely metallic purple colour, and had the lovely soft feel that only Tantus can do very well, along with smooth ridges on one side of it that felt lovely when inserted, especially when used with liquid silk. This feature made it very interesting for me. The size however, was actually quite good, that infact that I may even invest in some more petite dildos in future, as for me it seemed they are better at reaching more hard to get spots, something which more girthier dildos seem to miss or just skim over! It also has a good curve to it which done wonders for my g-spot, and has a precise head on it, which caressed it beautifully. I would also describe this dildo as being similar to the tantus acute silicone dildo, but better and with slightly more length and girth, with the ridges more noticable when inserted. My overall experience using this was lovely, and both different and interesting (but in a good way!) I would definately reccomend this dildo, as it is very pleasurable and makes for an experience to remember, especially for such an avid Tantus fan like me! x x
