Fun for the Money
I often like ROMP products so I had to give this a try!
What I love about this vibrator is that it isn't too big, so you don't need a ton of prep before play. The two-button design is very intuitive and makes it very easy to control what you're doing, though the buttons are kind of small and you need to be pretty firm with the power button to get it to start/stop.
The vibrations aren't super powerful, so it would be better for someone that's more sensitive. Because of the curve of the toy, it's hard to use this with a second clitoral vibrator, so if you need or prefer clitoral stimulation this might not be a great fit, but it does function very well as a clitoral vibrator as well! The tip of the toy is shaped great for that purpose and that's how I usually use it. The ridges add a nice friction when used internally.
The toy feels high quality, and no doubt it will last a long time, as all ROMP toys do. It's also not loud at all; with the door shut, you couldn't tell it was running on the other side, even on its highest settings, especially when used internally.
I do appreciate that the charger is, as always, compatible with all ROMP toys.

Honestly My Fave
I've bought this toy three times over the last several years and I'm going to keep doing it. The vibrations are great. The shape is perfect. It's obviously fun inside, but the tip is slightly tapered and feels great against the clit when you're getting started. Eventually it stops holding a charge, but that's after 2+ years of being used multiple times per week.

Wrong shape for G-spot
Looking for a new G-spot toy, I bought this based on the fun colour and (mostly) positive reviews.
I wish I'd paid more attention to the reviews that pointed out this toy is not really shaped like a G-spot toy. The toy only has a slight curve and it's quite rigid so I found it uncomfortable to use. The handle is small and slippery when wet so this made it even more difficult to hold and position the toy.
I tried a variety of positions and it was so awkward to use and I found it impossible to stimulate my G-spot with this toy.
Even as a basic vibrator, the lowest level of vibration was too strong and didn't feel good.

Best Toy I’ve Ever Purchased
Honestly great! My new favourite! Hits all the right spots and can be used for both internal and external. It’s very slightly noisy but honestly play music or a show, or even a fan and you wouldn’t hear it at all.

The vibrations on this one are WAY too strong for me! I might be in a minority here but I prefer to work up through the lower settings before turning up the power and this toy does not have any lower settings - it starts at a level I would probably never use. It kinda hurts and I do not think I’m gonna be coming 🙃
It’s a shame because everything else about this toy is crazy good for the price. Nice design, great size, shape and texture, and feels very sturdy and high quality. The silicone finish feels smooth and silky. Plus it’s waterproof and rechargeable! It’s firm but slightly flexible, could possibly be a little more flexible for my taste but definitely a step up from hard plastic.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to get their zone blasted inside out at an agreeable price point. Sadly I think I might not be using it again 😞

I highly recommend this toy for external and internal use. The toy’s texture is phenomenal. It feels silky smooth and the ridges do wonders when you find the right position and hit the g spot. The vibrations, speeds and patterns are really and truly new and improved. I have a toy I bought a while back from lovehoney but the patterns on there compared to this is child’s play. Not the Best for G-Spot
My boyfriend got me this toy and I was quite excited to use it. However, when using it, I didn't feel much stimulation of the g-spot no matter how much I angled it. It rather feels more like a standard vibrating dildo. It is rather wide-set than it is curved for g-spot use. It is quite a powerful toy, one of the strongest I have used thus far. While it did not work well with penetration, it works decently for external stimulation when my other toys are low on battery. If you're looking for a g-spot toy, I would choose another option. But if you would like a powerful vibrating dildo, this would be an excellent choice.

fantastic toy
I bought this after my old favorite vibe died on me (may she rest in peace), and what an upgrade! It feels great both on the clit and internally. It's a pretty powerful, kinda rumbly vibe which is exactly what I need. It's a little loud on its higher settings, but the noise can easily be drowned out by a fan. The only reason she's a 4 star instead of 5 is because the buttons are near impossible to find while using it, and they take a pretty significant force to press. If I'm really nitpicking, the charger is a little finicky to get in the right place and the shaft is a bit harder than I'd like, but I have owned more expensive toys that were much worse than this one.

Seems to get my wife to the sweet spot quickly on the lowest setting. It is a bit of beast though so bare that in mind. The buttons are also blended into the unit so not easy to locate. But as long as you find the on it does the job.

Great First Vibrator
This was my first vibrator, so I have little to compare it to just yet. I wanted a beginner-friendly, abstract, silicone vibrator. Absolutely loved the soft textured tip and the way it curves felt amazing for external stimulation and internally, it was fun too. Overall, it was a great beginner vibrator for the price. The only issue I would note is that the overall hardness of the entire vibrator and the girth of it can be a bit intimidating at first. Also, cycling through the different vibration modes can be difficult because of the button placements. It has six vibration modes starting at low, medium and high then has three different pulsating modes. One is more like a steady pulse and the other modes vibrate in varying waves.
Some basic things about it:The red/orange part is silicone, and the yellow is ABS plastic.
About the indicator light (hard to find this info in the manual) Indicator light flashes quickly - the device is Charging Indicator light is on - the device is fully charged Indicator light is off - the device battery is depleted or the charging pin is not fully inserted Indicator light flashes slowly - the device has low battery
For the price, it’s a good quality beginner vibrator. I got about two years out of it until the vibrations stopped. I was heartbroken, but I think I’m ready to move on and explore the world of g-spot vibrators.

My New Best Friend
I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. I've been looking for a vibrator for awhile and I'm very picky. "Ugh not purple, why are they all purple"; "hard plastic?? I want silicone"; "realism um no thank you!". So it's taken me a while to find one I like. And this is it! It ticked all my boxes before purchase and ticked them all after purchase.
I've given it a five in all areas except 'ease of use' and 'quiet'. Reason being that when lubed up this toy will all its fun shapes and flexibility is a little difficult to hold firmly in one place. As for the noise it sounds about as loud as fridge, a pretty quiet hum all things considered and you can't hear it behind closed doors. I checked ;)
I would recommend this toy if you're after a vibrator. I can't speak on the g-spot function. 1) I didn’t buy it for that, and 2) it's bigger than I expected and as someone with little penetrative experience I'll need some practice. Can't say I'm that disappointed haha

I agree with most reviews on here that this is not the best g-spot vibrator but it’s still pretty fun.The colour is great along with the handy colour coded charger cable. The materials are soft and the vibration is incredible- each setting is more fun than the last. The only thing I did find was that it was very quiet and in fact rattled a little. There are 2 buttons which can make it a little difficult to use when in the throws of passion- 1 button just turns it on or off and the other button scrolls through the rhythms. Also the charger hole is not very obvious either but this is because it’s water proof- another plus which makes it easy to clean and fun for bath time. The packaging is subtle and comes with some cute little stickers which I love!! PLEASURE TO THE PEOPLE
Doesn’t live up to its own ‘Hype’
I was delighted to receive the ROMP Hype as a review product as I love g-spot toys but I’ve found allocating a star rating very difficult on this occasion. This vibrator has so many positive attributes that deserve top marks but is a total fail in one vitally important respect; more about that later. Delivery of the product was perfectly timed to our week of holiday-at-home and my husband asking “What are we testing this afternoon?” was music to my ears. The packaging design and the overall look of the vibrator itself heightened the anticipation. The attributes listed on the box have clever little comments underneath. The end of the charging cable matches the colour of the vibe base and is a surprisingly useful feature amongst my sea of black toy cables. ROMP clearly want you have fun with their products. As well as the vibrant colour scheme the silicone is silky soft and the toy got a genuine “Wow” from me when it was switched on for the first time. Although no vibrator is going to be silent, the Hype is fairly quiet in comparison with many of my vibrating toys. The box included a strip of sexually themed stickers which you will either find funny or tacky.The large instruction sheet has numerous languages in very tiny font. It covers many useful topics but doesn’t tell you about the charging light. FYI the light flashes when charging and goes out when fully charged. It remains steady when switched on and slowly fades over several minutes before the battery goes flat.Our first test was my husband using the vibrator on me during warm-up play. The vibrations are strong with the highest (6th) intensity being similar to my Mantric g-spot highest (3rd) setting, it just takes smaller steps to get there. That could be a positive or negative depending on personal preference; I didn’t find small steps to be an advantage. He felt that the vibes were good and commented that I was making sounds of pleasure that he had never heard from me before. The buttons are slightly raised so it was easy to find and change settings without looking. The length was a double-edged sword. He had to be careful to not push it too far in so as not to hurt me and to try to find the sweet spot. The extra handle length was useful for his large hands but he thought it could do with some texture on the back to keep his grip when it inevitably became slippery.Using the Hype solo was a disappointment. It is comfortably girthy and textured, the strong vibes pleasuring the clitoris nicely but internally it didn’t hit the g-spot without a lot of frustratingly awkward manoeuvring, the length making it more difficult to handle. I’ve persevered but have found that it is too straight and is more of a slightly curved vibrating dildo, the length and soft tip being good for deeper penetration. I did wonder initially if LH has accidently mistakenly labelled it a g-spot vibrator so investigated further. The ROMP packaging only mentions the g-spot in a small-print contents list but their website very clearly markets the Hype as a specifically designed g-spot vibrator. Generally these vibrators have a more bulbous end with the curve closer to it to ‘hug’ you internally. The vibrations are strong in the handle which is a disadvantage during longer playtimes. The battery life on the highest setting is happily much longer than the suggested sixty minutes, more like eighty. It is a good choice if you are looking for a reasonably priced, vibrating dildo that isn’t too girthy and can be used equally well without the vibes.The naming of this toy is unfortunate. ‘Hype’ was meant to convey ‘excitement’ but more appropriately it has ‘overstated its benefits’. If it’s a vibrating g-spot toy you are specifically looking for in this £35-£40 price range, try the Mantric.
Disappointed for a G-spot dildo
I'm always on the hunt to expand my g spot vibrator and dildo collection and the bright colour of this bad boy caught my eye!Ooft, it's bright, more a red but damn you won't lose it.It's easy to charge, but does take a good few hours to be fully charged. Positives - love the colour, the silicone is good quality, easy to hold and I really liked the vibrations. Definitely more on the rumbly side which I prefer.Negatives - to advertise this as a g spot dildo is totally inaccurate. It's not nearly curved enough and is just similar to other standard dildos I have. It's also pretty narrow. Not a bad thing, but again, not appropriate for g spot use. Using this as a clit vibe (v good) and a standard vibrator is grand. For me buying this specifically as a g spot toy, it was a massive disappointment. If you're looking for a standard dildo which vibrates, it's fine. Do not bother if you're looking for a specific g spot product.On the notion that I bought this specifically for g spot use, I wouldn't recommended. I'm keeping it as I can find a use for it, but overall, bit gutted.

I'm extremely partial to vibrators that are as unphallic as possible so when I saw this new toy I thought, for the money it was worth a go. Fantastic colour too - more red than orange,to my eyes anyway!Always abit of a gamble buying a new toy with no product video or other reviews but the description is spot on. And,like I've said, so was the price,design and colour!Packaging is simple and inoffensive. Unfortunately the plastic inside the box holding the Romp was abit on the cheap side. However it's not that big a deal.The charging cable has a yellow tip which is brilliant as I have SOOOO many USB charging cables for my various toys it gets confusing! No confusion with this cable tho. My Romp only needed afew hours to charge. However tempting it is to try a new rechargeable toy out I ALWAYS charge them first as I don't want to risk ruining them!The Romp Hype is of a decent weight, which is good. The silicone body is firm along the shaft but the tip is soft and squishy-ish.It's not of the biggest girth but the length is pleasing - had it been a couple of inches more it would have been the perfect A-spot pleaser!! I had no problem using the whole length - the curve is pretty much perfect for me.Power wise, MMmmmmmmSPOT ON!! Deep, rumbling vibrations, powerful and quiet too. I am abit of a power queen so the Romp certainly satisfied me!! A pleasant climax (with clitoral stimulation too) I had!I have a thing for waterproof toys at the moment and I am SOOOOO looking forward to using this underwater!!My only slight gripe is the on/off button - it's a little stiff.
