An easy way to start building a toy collection
The three pack is a good price and allows beginners to move at their own pace and confirm what sizes they are comfortable with. I’m not a massive fan of the circular flared bases but due to how flexible they are they were not problem here.
Comfortable but difficult to clean
Thus was my first set of butt plugs and I fancy a bit of anal play but am finding things a bit. . . . "tight". Only used the smallest one twice so far, a couple of hours at a time as advised with lube. Despite having Lovehoney toy cleaner, after use the plug is already stained and doesn't smell great. Only toy that I haven't been 100% happy with to be honest.

Beginner friendly

Perfect for beginners

Ok for beginner but not a "plug"
We got these as a beginner plug set to work up to more standard plugs and eventually full anal.
The size is tiny, smooth, and flexible, which is great for beginners because even though they are tiny they are uncomfortable if you are just getting started. They would work great for getting used to inserting something and gradually working up.
For me, I wanted a plug because we like have the fullness feel. We could NOT get these to stay in for even a second no matter how hard we tried. So it was kind of useless for us.

Good starter pack
Very new for us, but we gave it a go, and this is a good little set to get us started.
If, like us, you've never used one before, we have a couple of tips:
1) the smallest one looks tiny, but actually feels pretty big the first few times it's in.
2) the material is soft and flexible, but has that tackiness of silicone, so heaps of lube is still probably not enough lube!

Generally the product is great for beginner anal play. The smallest one slides of immediatly, the middle one stays in a little longer, but if lubed enough i had trouble of keeping it in. Haven't tried the biggest one.

First time trying anything anal and wasnt sure if i was going to like it but these made the experience fun and easy. Having the different sizes is differently worth it.
small is very easier to put in and comfy once in place but i found once i was into it, it would slide out.
medium takes a while to get used to but you have more control as the base is bigger.

I was pretty excited to get these. My partner and I have looked into venturing into anal play, and a beginners kit seemed like our best option (obviously). I loved that there were different sizes, and they weren’t scary, long, or big. I was pretty eager to try them out! First experience was great; easy to use, not painful, overall a nice introduction. HOWEVER, I couldn’t move AT ALL without it falling out. There was a semi-embarrassing try when we were doing foreplay and it fell out on my partners foot, luckily were super comfortable with each other so we shrugged it off. I tried moving up sizes, which again was super easy and comfortable, but we haven’t been able to actually use any of them and have them stay while we were foreplay or any kind of sex. I think they were amazing for getting comfortable with the idea, but if I could go back in time I would have purchased more of a “standard” looking butt plug set that has the bulb shape so they stay in. We’ve since bought a different beginners kit and had so much more success.

If you want these to train yourself for anal sex with your partner, then I do not recommend. Slimmer than my two fingers put together, and I’m female. They are so small, the first one is like the width of a large thumb. And the other 2 are not much thicker. I’ve had a set of these before but they are not even comparable I would not call these a training set at all, these are for just fun for absolute newbys, not for preparing you for anal sex. I do not recommend.

Good price, though all are almost exact in thickness. Good for if you're exploring depth, or just need a little stick-in. I found that they slipped out a touch to easily, even with the barest hint of lube, but then again, everybody is different and you may find this to be your perfect fit.

Great For Beginners, But Could Be Better
The Basics Triple Butt Plug Training Set is definitely for beginners, and that's to be expected. I tried these on more than one occasion but was left feeling rather unsatisfied. These plugs are a "jelly" style material, which certainly doesn't feel luxurious, but that's okay. These plugs are nice in that they have three different sizes that allow you to start small and work your way big, or start anywhere in between. This is great for beginners! What I don't like about these plugs is the thin shaft between the bigger head and the base. I feel like these tend to "slip out" too easily. I feel like the thin shaft should be thinner, to keep these more securely inside. When these plugs fall out, not only is it annoying, but it can make a mess if you aren't properly prepared! It can also be uncomfortable depending on which size you have in. Anal isn't generally meant for being "quick and fast," and a plug rocketing out of you isn't comfortable. Cleanliness: these are easy to clean with your favorite toy cleaner. I use the Lovehoney Fresh. If I am giving a toy a deep clean, I usually boil for about 2 minutes and then finish with the toy cleaner. I tried that with these, and it left them a little sticky and so they picked up lint in the toy drawer (as I noticed the next time I went to use them). Overall, for the price you could give them a try. If you know you are going to enjoy anal pleasure, I would buy a nicer set of plugs from Lovehoney instead of this trainer set. If that means buying multiple plugs of varying sizes, I would still recommend that over this 3-in-1 kit.

I got these a while ago when me and my partner decided to experiment with anal play. These plugs are ideal for beginners and easy to insert. I felt the smallest one was pointless as it’s really small and even for someone who hadn’t tried anal before I felt it was too small. If you like the idea of having a butt plug in while dressed or doing normal things then these probably aren’t the best as the base is too big meaning it is uncomfortable for your cheeks. They are comfortable when inserted. I found these very useful for starting out and would recommend to anal beginners. I’ve now changed to the realistic penis butt plug which is a great next step

Great for the complete beginner
Butt plugs are a new thing for me, and recently purchased a normal sized one, and a "large" one, which when it came seemed more than I can chew. I had in mind that this set would be awesome to "train" my butt to take a more girthier plug. The box itself is bright pink, but looks fairly classy to be honest. Its a "BASICS" range, so no frills, but each plug came individually packaged in a little bag, and to be honest - I was quite impressed. The plugs themselves are of good quality, so no qualms there. There are 3 plugs included.... A really small one, designed I would guess for someone who hasn't tried any sort of butt play at all before. To be honest - for me - this was just too small, and didn't make any impact at all on me. The second one is a nice size as a foreplay starter. Gives just enough feeling that its in, without being too wide or long for that first insertion kind of feeling. The third is longer than the second (as you can see in the photos) but not that much wider at all, so although it feels like its plugging you just that bit more, its not quite the stretch that I was looking for. The main issue with these butt plugs is indeed the girth, but for the fact that the flared base isn't flared enough. They're great for self pleasure, but not plugs to the extend where you could leave them in, and go shopping with them! They just slip out (especially when you use lube). To be honest - there's better prostrate massagers out there for a similar price, which would do a better job. In summary.... the small one is for a complete novice, the other two are good for first time insert during foreplay only. But if Im honest - that's about it...

So once again we were selected to test & review this fantastic product from love honey. Now down to the fun part, this kit came with three different size butt plugs & the size was not off putting what so ever, as some are still rather large in beginners sets. Great, but only for absolute beginners
Although I have enjoyed anal penetration on many occasions I am relatively new to anal toys. This training set of butt plugs seemed an ideal way to ease into a new way to play. They arrived well packaged with the plugs themselves wrapped individually inside an outer box. They are made of a flexible material with no discernable smell & are a lovely non-threatening purple colour - ideal for beginners. The smallest of the 3 is tiny, like a slim pinky finger. As I am not a total anal virgin I bypassed this one (Although my husband has expressed an interest in perhaps trying it one day) and went straight onto the middle size. After lubing up it slipped in easily, too easily. I couldn't feel a thing and it slipped straight back out. No worries, onto plug no3. Again, this slipped in easily and although I could feel it inside me, and it felt pretty darned good, I couldn't move without it slipping out again. All hopes of being able to wear it for extended periods slipped away instantly. I feel as if the part nearest the base needs to be more flared to help it stay in place better. The base also seems a little too thick and didn't sit comfortably when standing. Overall I'd say these plugs are an excellent purchase for anyone who is wanting to try anal for the very first time but is too scared to go straight in. For anyone with anal experience I'd recommend something with a little more girth to really get the best out of the experience
