My biggest concern with dildos is usually the girth, I absolutely cannot fit what is the usual standard size without discomfort and pain.
This is plenty long without the usual girth and the base provides a really nice hold point when using. I love that its straight instead of the usual curve so I have more of an ability to move it around, however I havent utilised much of the suction. BASICS Slimline Anal Starter Dildo 6 Inch
Initially this looked really good when I got it out the box it was a nice size and looked well designed. I wasnt too keen on the realistic look but I thought it was a nice small step up from the ribbed dildo from BASICS.
The design as I said looked good initially it was a nice size however it felt less rubbery than the ribbed dildo it’s a bit more like plastic as in it isn’t as soft and bendy so when inserted it isn’t as comfortable.
The quality I would say is good because it’s slightly more plasticy than the ribbed one it will last longer and you won’t get those fractures in the rubber after a while but I haven’t had as much fun with this one as I did with the ribbed 5“ one. The suction cup also comes unstuck easier because of the nature of the harder material it’s built with not having as much flex.
It feels good when it’s inserted and I have had some fun with this dildo but the shaft is too smooth for me personally and I found I had more fun and came harder with the ribbed dildo.

We got this as a first time try at T using a strap on with C, by sliding this slimline toy in the front of the crotchless LH panties and applying a little lube it was soon sliding in C and T was having a ball with some role reversal.

I bought this to go alongside my first glass dildo and I’m pleased that I did. Decent anal dildo
I reviewed the 5" rippled one a moment ago and this is one I got alongside the rippled one.
It's a good toy however not my go to, I use it as a 2nd step in a play session before moving up bigger, I sometimes skip it though as i thought it was a little thicker, it's not much thicker than the 5" rippled one.
If the 5" rippled one doesn't take your fancy as an anal dildo then this one is a bit more rigid and longer, and an actual penis shape, so may be more preferable.

Fantastic Choice for Beginner Anal Experiences

The Good:
The size overall has been perfect for us. As a beginner, the length and diameter have been a good amount to feel like I'm full when my parter is using it on me, but not too much so that it hurts. The realistic head and texture make for some good sensations as well.
The Bad:
The suction cup doesn't work most of the time. I've had little success getting it to stick to any surfaces, especially when I'm trying to use it on myself and moving. The shaft could also have been a little less flimsy. While my partner is using it on me it has a tendency to slip out easily, and its lack of firmness can get inconvenient if I'm trying to be on top.

A good start
Everyone starts with the packaging but as I've said elsewhere on LH, gone are the days of tacky packaging with someone pulling their best 'oooh' face. The packing is fine and fits with the 'Basics' brand. Personally I'd just like to see less of it if at all possible.We bought the toy as we have a few in our collection but as anal play isn't something we get round to that often, our favourite (a classic 6" Doc Johhsnon Ballsy) takes a bit of work and can often feel a bit laborious (even if the end result is AMAZING). Our go-to is a Tantus slimline dildo we bought from LH years ago; it's smooth with a bulbous head and it's fairly petite (4"). However, this time we were looking for something in-between and the Basics option looked good, which it was.The toy doesn't smell which is novel for a jelly product and it fits easily into our harness. The head is pronounced and with a little extra length than our Tantus, face to face positions were definitely a lot easier. With that said, and on to other positions, the toy was easy to insert (which is great for beginners) but we found it fairly hard to hit the right spot which with the other toys simply isn't an issue. If you're new to this, it might be a bit frustrating unless you just happen on the correct angle but it's a good toy if you're nervous about accommodating something for the first time.

Great First Dildo

I am new to anal play and this does feel great for a starter. I usually warm up with a plug and then go to this. The only issues I have is that it’s not that ridged and firm. Ad a starter anal dildo I didn't think the head was ideal. The bellend hard a fairly firm large ridge around it which I found a little sore as a very amateur user. Great small easy anal dildo

Its hard to come up with a review for this toy because it comes how it looks and feels exactly as you'd imagine so here is a short story on why we purchased it: We are a couple and one of us got into anal play much later than the other, so the toys we have are much to 'advanced' for a beginner. My first ever toy
This was my first ever sex toy and I was super excited to try it out when I got it, so I immediately got to work. It's quite slim so it was very easy to slide into my ass, remembering to use lube of course, and it's very long so it felt really good to go so deep inside of me. Warning: Porous
The shape and design of this toy is good, and many other reviews cover that in detail. However, one thing neither the top reviews nor the specifications mention is the porousness of the material. It's very slightly porous, and unfortunately I was only able to use it a few times before it caught a smell that I was unable to wash out.
PVC - not a good material
Other reviewers have talked a lot about the shape and function of this toy, which I found wonderful. But the stuff it's made out of... not so much. After only a few uses it started to smell, and no amount of cleaner would get rid of the smell. Being new to anal and kind of easily grossed out, this was NOT what I wanted from an early toy. Better to buy something more expensive, but made of a non-porous material like silicone, instead of PVC.
First time trying a suction cup dildo
So we decided to try a long held fantasy of my husband’s, which was to let him watch as I got *ahem* busy with a toy stuck to a random piece of furniture around the house. Bit of a fantasy role play starter toy as we’ve never tried a dildo as such. I’ve used plenty of vibrators (and my trusty rabbits) but nothing that was purely vaginal with no clitoral stimulation (which I need to orgasm). It smells neutral and I love the purple colour! We were keen to try it and thought the shower an obvious place with smooth tiles for sticking. My husband’s also a LOT taller than I am, so we find sex in the shower impossible! This is really where it got a bit frustrating: there is no suction cup, the base has a hollow which provides the suction. It stuck on fine to the shower tiles and stayed there when I tugged it to check. But when I started to use it it began to slip on the surface, it didn’t come loose at all, but the lack of texture tension on the tiles meant I was slipping up and down rubbing my bottom all over the wall trying not to slip over. I ended up using my hand to hold it steady which wasn’t a huge negative but it did mean that I was a bit conscious of it! It felt great, it’s smooth and the head has a slight ridge but it’s not fleshy so it’s not like the real thing, but that’s not a bad thing! The girth felt great and the length of it made me feel happy that I wouldn’t get carried away and injure myself! It certainly got us there in the end! It was sadly the suction that let it down a bit on the smoothness of the surface. We’ve tried a few surfaces now (wooden bed head, a mirror - with the lack of balls this provided a great view for my husband - and the fridge - don’t ask, my husband insisted!) and it grips the surfaces fine BUT it will move if you move at a sudden pace or angle. Not strictly a problem as it doesn’t come free but it can mean you have to stop and move and that can be a little annoying. For a starter dildo it opened my mind to trying a different type in the future, but for now we’re still trying it out everywhere! Also great for three some ‘roleplaying’, and I might try it as an anal dildo when I find a surface or lube combination where I know it won’t move!

This is a real high quality piece of kit! I bought this particular dildo on a sale a while ago. I can't use thicker dildos so use the anal starters For vaginal purposes. Slim dildo
I like that this dildo isn't curved as I find the curve uncomfortable and straight dildo are very hard to come by as well as slimmer dildo which are even rarer. However the ridge can be painful and the suction cup isnt very good compared to other ones. It does stick to mirrors and tiles but struggles with door/curved surfaces which my other ones havent had an issue with. Overall if there were more options for slimline straight suction cup dildos I wouldn't get it but there's not so if your also looking for those things then this one is probably your best bet just bear the suction cup and ridge in mind
Great size
I was looking for something as a step up from what I'd call a real beginner anal dildo that came as part of a strapon set and this looked like it would be perfect. I was right! It's a really nice size, great texture and firmness and feels so good, both on entry and once inside. The suction base makes it an excellent addition when I have a shower as well. Have used it loads of times and never had a problem with the suction. Perfect for beginner men
This is th eperfect starting point for any guys looking to delve in to the world of anal toys. The perfect fit
I've tried a few dildos and vibrators but there was always something missing. This has basically everything I could want. Too good to be true

Great for beginners
This is my first sex toy and was a bit scary after opening it up to think it would go in me. After a lot of lube and some relaxing, it easily went inside as I tried not to moan. I found this a really decent size in length for satisfaction although personally I found it slightly lacking in the girth of it. I've used plugs in the past that have been slightly wider hence why it was slightly small for me. New Favorite
I wanna say that this is my new favorite toy, honestly. I always love a good length but I'm not too much on a very wide girth for my toys. This was absolutely perfect for me. Although it is meant to be a sleek anal dildo, I use is vaginally and the texture is incredible. Will definitely buy again if I ever need a replacement.

Honestly, it's a good all around toy. I decided to buy this for practice when my boyfriend and I became interested in exploring anal play. It definitely helped! Unless you wanted something big, this dildo literally has everything you could want in terms of texture and detail. As its thin it has plenty of bend in it, there are lots of veins down the shaft right to the bottom which make for extra pleasure whilst the smoothness of the material means they aren't over exaggerated. 6 inch slim dildo
