The vibrator feels good, and does its job well. It can get some getting used to, but its egg shape is much more comfortable than the usual vibrators. One charge lasts very long, usually more than 4-5 sessions before you need to charge it again, and I have yet to need to change the batteries for the remote after a year of ownership. The remote works well, although once inserted it can have some issues changing settings if you're more than a meter or two away from it.

I bough this as a gift for my wife and she has only put it down to occasionally charge it up. It's very powerful, yet extremely discrete, and you can switch between both power levels and programs using the remote, while the egg itself has a simple control to cycle through the programs (though the button might not be accessible while in use, so remote is thoroughly recommended).
Easy to clean, easy to charge, and solidly built. Have not tested it for range yet. And the remote does take a little bit of getting used to (long press vs. short press, slight delays, etc.).
Also make sure you read the manual as there is an initial charge requirement and both the remote and the egg have a specific plug on the charger.
I like that it has a variety of patterns and intensity levels however I think the size of it might not be suitable. Also having to recharge it seems more frequent than what the battery life indicated.

Creates "Egg-stremely" Satisfying Foreplay
My OH surprised me when he revealed this egg vibrator during foreplay.
We'd used a WE-Vibe product in the past, so I had an idea as to what I was to experience on using this Remote Control Love Egg.
On opening the zipped carry case this product comes with, my first impressions were that it was a nice shape and size - nothing too intimidating. The purple colour, and the smooth feel of the silicone material it is manufactured from, added to the immediate appeal of this Desire Love Egg.
The "Pleasure Guide" (User Notes) accompanying the Love Egg, were straightforward and easy to understand. The illustrations were a helpful addition before we got started.
We found that the battery cover of the remote control was a little tricky to release at first, but we soon became familiar with what we needed to to do in order to access the compartment.
We would advise any potential purchaser to fully familiarise themselves with the instructions before use as we found that there are quite a few procedures to follow until we were competent in employing this Love Egg to its potential. We were soon able to pair the remote control with the egg and try out its various functions, patterns and intensities before I used it internally.
Once I had coated the egg with a generous helping of water-based lube (we found that it was better for me to use the lube as using the egg-like remote can be difficult if the operator's hands are caked in lube!), I began to use it externally whilst Mr H slowly scrolled through each of the 8 patterns varying their intensity as he did so. Some of the patterns provided more intense sensations than others, and so I suppose it is all a matter of personal preference. The user can alter the sensation by pressing the Power Button on the egg - great for solo play.
On insertion, I received some mixed sensations. Again, some patterns were better, others less so, but I found that using another vibrator externally, and simultaneously, created some very satisfying feelings and arousal. In this respect, we have found that the Desire Love Egg is a useful addition to our foreplay as a prelude to actual penetrative sex. I have discovered that, whilst inserted in my vagina, the egg's vibrations have intensified and enhanced the arousal I enjoy from my engagement anal sex. Mr H also benefits from the vibrations he receives at the same time.
Unlike the universally control of the WE-Vibe, this Love Egg's range is not as great. However, unlike some reviewers' experiences, we found that the egg can be controlled between adjoining rooms. The 60 minute run time is not an issue for us as we find that it is adequate for its use during foreplay. We have not had the battery drain before I have been well in the zone. As far as noise is concerned, that too is not such an issue since it is almost discernible and we intend using the egg beyond the confines of our home.
In conclusion, this Love Egg is a very useful, and welcome, addition to our Toy collection in that it has certainly provided different dimensions to our foreplay and anal sex.
Not the best, not the worst
I’m no stranger to vibrators and always wanting something new, this was my first egg and while it’s got some great potential, the material feels heavenly soft and definitely lives up to some higher priced silicone. I found the buttons easy enough but some may want a practice go before popping it in.
It does have its downsides notably the lower intensity which some others have mentioned, I’m not a internal buzz maniac but I found the lower settings to be far too soft, it’s nice as a foreplay item to get you going and the shape gives some great angles when sitting, but it’s pretty satisfactory other than that.
My biggest issue with this toy happened to be the battery life, possibly a fault but sometimes only lasts one use before it’s dead again…
I would say it is relatively quiet, quieter than I expected, a partner and I used it around some consenting friends and they couldn’t hear it at all under my dress.

The main purpose I purchased this toy was to be able to have my partner control the egg no matter where I was in the house. Fun for foreplay
Really high quality toy, although the case it comes in could to with having tighter elastic because I do find the egg rattles about a bit in there - but it's always a nice touch when things come with storage. The egg is supposed to have a working radius of 8 meters, or, line of sight, in reality it has to be within a foot, 0.3048 meters to pick up the signal. Once it was turned on, and working, she thought it worked wonderfully. I've purchased other products from this company and been extremely happy with them but this was a huge disappointment. I would highly recommend not purchasing this product unless you only plan to use it at home within a few inches from her vagina.

Only negative is that when we first used the remote it only worked when it was within a few cm of the egg, we changed the battery in it & thankfully then worked from a few feet away, you would expect the battery to work properly in a brand new item but maybe it was just a bad battery

Worth it

Not What I Was Expecting
I bought this having read about them in various places and having read the raving reviews. It came on time and in the usual packaging. The toy itself feel luxurious and soft to the touch. The storage box and charging cable are very handy and as soon as I got it I charged it up. However, once in play I liked it less. Its circumference is just a little bit to uncomfortable for me, even when lubricated and warmed up. I, however, am not used to regular penetrative activities. Once in its easy to cycle through the vibrations and patterns, but they just were not strong enough for me. It was, however, very quite something I appreciate in a dorm were other people are living especially with such thin walls. The best part was the tail which tended to flick a bit. Stopped working after two times
Doesn't charge anymore, this was a novelty gift so me and my girlfriend only used it two times in a year. We turned it on last week and for our surprise it didn't charge anymore. Contacted customer service and their answer was they couldn't do anything or help me anyway, but they would give me a 20% discount if I would like to buy another one. They lost a customer!

This was bought as a surprise gift for lucky, lucky me! Great upgrade

Felt very nice and soft good strong vibration controls are a bit hard to see but got used to them after a couple of times using it. Not quite a Womanizer replacement
I got this toy as a replacement for my dying Womanizer Premium, which has been the best toy I've ever had by far! I saw that this new Desire vibrator was powered by Womanizer and it seemed like the perfect lower cost alternative. I was however mistaken, but lets address the good things first! The lockable zip up storage bag that comes with this toy is amazing, complete with the lovehoney heart stamped into corner. Perfect for taking a few select goodies along with you on trips. It was quick and easy to charge via USB, and is made from the soft touch silicone that we all know and love from the Desire range. The toy itself is quite a bit larger than I imagined it being, but is still comfortable to hold and use the controls with the one hand. Now down to the actual function of the toy, in which I am not a fan off. I went in with the hope of a gentle experience, that to match the Womanizer, but was met with an over-powered, oddly shaped vibrator. The lowest setting on just the first mode (which states is just the pulse with no vibration) was too gentle for me and just one up from that level was instantly painful, and there didn't seem to be any middle area for me on any of the different modes, even with a good amount of lube. I adore the idea of love eggs but my first attempt with this one has left me underwhelmed. It's got plenty of settings and speeds, but in my opinion it's not strong enough. We have been using this love egg and we have had a lot of fun! The photos are misleading. I assumed the thin part was more rigid, not floppy. The vibration disappears in the thin part. All that happens is the vibration on the egg part ... Does not do the job ... Not recommended at all. Would be better if the vibration travelled up the thin bit.

Not powerful enough for me
Upon opening the box, I could see that the love egg was the usual superior quality of the Desire range. It’s silky soft silicone, a gorgeous shade of purple and comes in a lockable toy case. With it being my first love egg, I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately for me the egg just isn’t powerful enough for me to achieve orgasm alone. Even on the highest setting I barely felt anything, and needed to use additional clitoral stimulation. Overall I was quite disappointed as I usually love all Desire products and have come to expect great things from them. Not as good as we hoped it would be
We have always found eggs fascinating and thought buying a remote one would be great fun. However, this one is not as good as we hoped it would be. The material is soft and nice and so are the shape and colour. The case it comes in is lovely and very practical for storage, charging and travel. However the charge takes ages, does not last very long and is not retained between play sessions. I.e. you need to charge this before use and can't count on using it without further charge few days after. We found this has caused us using it less than we would if it maintained its charge like other toys of a similar cost we have.

We both set up the love eggs and inserted them before pottering out to dinner. Once we were there we decided to have some fun. Much to our disappointment they were very noisy and not very powerful. We went and adjusted them in the toilets and again were disappointed with the product. The vibrations from the main egg were ..Ok ish but neither of us felt any clitoral stimulation. Frustration
This toy adds a whole new meaning to thé word frustration - or at least it has done for me. That's just trying to get thé damn thing to work. Tonight, I thought I'd have one last try, and following my discovery and a chat with customer services, they're going to change the instructions. When thé toy arrives, there are 2 things to stop the battery connecting and running down. Thé first is thé slip of paper between thé battery and the contact, thé other is the battery compartiment cover that twists round. On delivery, this is locked in so that thé bar down thé middle is in line with thé profile of thé remote when viewed from thé side. In this position it will never ever switch on. Viewed from thé side this has à thick and à thin side. It needs to bé placed over thé battery so that it looks tilted, or pushed in at thé top and sticking up at thé bottom. Flush fitting is great for travelling or stopping someone else playing with thé remote. I nearly broke my thumbs trying to turn it on before I realised thé battery cover wasn't even thickness. The number of times I've nearly thrown thé remote at the wall is Infinite! I'm looking forward to playing with it, now I can turn it on. Still, it made me laugh after à really crappy day in à crappy week. So, Thank you for that'
Not amazing

It was a little loud in quiet places and as the remote holder i had to sit very close for the signal to actually work, which isn’t great when you need to turn off fast or change the program. This has now been sat in the draw for a while gathering dust which is a shame. It comes nicely packaged and the look of it is very appealing shame about the functionality
Deflated Desire
I brought the Desire Remote Control Love Egg a while ago whilst it was on offer. I've taken my time to write this review because I wanted to give the product several plays to ensure my review is honest. Sadly, for me atleast, I am seriously deflated by it. Personally I think it just doesn't deserve to be in the Desire range. The power isn't there and the remote is just a right fiddly thing to use! The egg works fine but the remote needs to be pressed very hard to turn on and once it is the power is so very lacking. Maybe I have a dodgy one - I do find I have to press/hold onto the back of the remote to get it to stay on. Same goes for changing patterns /speeds - iffy connection me thinks. I'm guessing the battery is to blame for lack of power as it's only a CR type. The material is quality silicone and perfectly smooth as per the other toys in the Desire range. Also the storage case is brilliant but these are the only good things I like about this particular Desire toy. If you like power and reliability save up for a Lelo/ other luxury toy. Sorry Lovehoney, but this Desire Love Egg leaves me totally deflated.
Well, my girlfriend certainly liked it
The title says it all. I was her favourite person when we tried this out for the first time. She said it was way more intense than her other vibrator and the fact we can have some discreet fun with it makes it just a little naughty too. A 60 minute power time is pretty incredible for something so good too. Recommending.
Fun and exciting egg
First of all; I recommend this remote control deviously fun toy to all couples and sexual partners that love to take their sex life out with them on the go, it'll keep you on edge and desperate for release no matter what you get up to. This is our first remote control toy of this price range but the control over the intensity is marvellous. It wasn't as strong as we expected it to be due to a cheaper, stronger alternative that we have been used to, but that didn't diminish in the slightest how good this feels. The screw-on tail felt risky; we were a little nervous that it could detach while removing it from her, but it has been used and removed many times since purchasing and no problems have arisen.

Arrived in discreet packaging. OH and I were excited about it as it was our first remote controlled vibrator and we were curious about how it would go. The material is very smooth and you can tell it's good quality. I also liked the colour. The fact that it was water proof was a huge plus. OH likes it. It hasn't brought her to orgasm yet but definitely had some very positive experiences from it. It's also been very discreet, only notable on the most powerful setting. Sometimes can be a bit unresponsive to remote but overall happy with it.
Strong vibrations but had a tendency to cut out
This was our first vibrating love egg we bought. It certainly got the job done however and worked a treat. The only issue we had is that it had a tendency to cut out after being inside for a while and eventually stopped working altogether. The charger is under the "tail" which unscrews so the only thing we can thing is that with how wet things got it could have got inside and killed it but for the time we had it it really was great. The battery in the controller also had a tendency to die off quite fast but we did use it quite liberally so that might have just been down to use. It has allowed us to purchase more powerful variants however so we will always look fondly back on this little love egg
A good toy, but not for me
I bought this with the intention of using it on myself and my long-distance partner. It wasn't something I was into, I'm not an egg person and that's down to me, not the toy. My partner, however, loved it. The remote control aspect made things even better. I decided to give it to her in the end because she got much more enjoyment than I did. It's also extremely quiet. My complaint is the battery life. It takes forever to charge and only lasts about 20-30 minutes. Otherwise, great toy.
Great potential, sub-par execution
As much as I wanted to love this product, I had a hard time doing so. The product's design is great; the finish is soft and feels amazing, the vibrations are also quite strong and I love being able to change between all the modes and different vibration strengths. The range on the device is quite poor however; you have to be within a couple meters for the device to work and you can't really be sure if you changed mode or turned it off. The biggest problem however was the remote, perhaps I was simply unlucky but I had to return the product twice before I got one that worked properly, Lovehoneys customer service was excellent however and they ensured I got a working product by valentines day. Despite its problems, my partner and I use this product very often to make trips outside much more fun.
Bored
So I was super excited to get this since most of the reviews were so positive & I am quite sensitive down there so I was expecting something mind blowing. Unfortunately this turned out to be mind numbing, though it is lovely sleek and comfortable it has no oomph behind it I initially tried it on the lower setting but got nothing so I worked my way up to find what was best for me right the way up to the top and still nothing I literally sat for about 10 minutes waiting for something and I am bored... so disappointed and to top it off it really isn’t whisper quiet so you can forget that malarky
Mini Egg
This product has a lovely feel to it, the egg is smooth and silky and the perfect size for teasing. It is not too big that you are walking around conscious of it being inside you but equally it is not so small that you are not aware that it is there. A lot of fun is to be had with this egg. Myself and my partner like to take it on nights out and also tend to use it in the bedroom to spice up our anal. The controls are easy to use and the egg itself is relatively quiet. the buzz, is quite intense and if he gets trigger happy I do find myself having to rapidly find a place away from the world to orgasm, because the egg is powerful. The battery life on the egg is hit and miss, sometimes we have had a whole night of fun and others just an hour. it is easy to charge, just twist off the tail and insert the usb charger. The tail itself can be quite difficult to pull out as it has a fair amount of stretch and I always worry that I am going to snap it when removing the egg. saying that, the tail has remained intact after countless uses. All in all I have had a lot of fun with this egg, it looks good, it feels good and it does exactly what it states. the orgasms from this egg aren't massively intense, which is a good thing because I don't really want to fall to my knees in the middle of a night club and have a ginormous orgasm in front of the world. My partner loves being in control of my orgasms whilst we are out,this toy is perfect for all night foreplay before returning from a night out
High Quality Good Product - Room For Improvement
I bought for my GF for both solo and couple fun. First impressions it is undoubtedly high quality as expected being a LH branded product. We put it to use almost immediately with great results. The GF loves that I can have control. Needless to say it gets the job done. My niggles are on two areas: 1) The 'mode' button does not 'click' very well - I have to ask if the program changed (if its not obvious!). This could be improved. 2) The egg did not last for as long as advertised depriving the GF of a solo finale. Overall a good product however could have been great!
