Good vibrations but don't see it lasting long
This product was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. Due to this, I do not know the price point of this item.
The product was, as is always the case with Lovehoney, delivered quickly and discretely.
The packaging seems quite high-end; inside the box is a cylindrical tin which doubles as a charging unit and as a handy case to store the toy and charging cable inside.
The toy is attractive, a short cone-shaped item in lilac with the button/ charging port on the bottom. The tip of the cone is smoothed out so there are no sharp points and the vibration travels through the whole cone.
Before the first use, I charged it up and was very impressed with the charging facility- you put it in the storage container and plug in the provided cord (C connection, no adaptor but compatible with phone chargers/ laptop/ etc.) and, as the case is very discrete, you could easily leave this out while charging.
However, on first use, I realised that although the design of button/ charger being together is very clever, the button itself is not very good- you have to push it in to turn it on/ off, apply the travel lock and adjust settings but, as you push it in, it feels like the button unit itself seems to push inside the toy. Due to this, I do not expect the toy to last long as, with each use, it seems to push the button further inside the toy. Due to this, I am not confident in the water-resistance of the toy- it has lasted so far being washed but I would not want to submerge it in the bath/ shower and use it.
The vibration settings themselves are very good- it starts with a straight vibration that builds through speeds as you press the button before turning into a pattern of vibrations for the remainder of the settings. Due to the shape of the toy, it fits easily in your hand for solo or couple play and does not get in the way. Due to the cone shape, you can use the precision tip to stimulate the clit (or nipples/ penis so can be used for all genders), or you can use the side of the cone to have the vibrations against a wider area. The results are great and result in an orgasm every time! The toy isn't very loud either- even on the highest setting, it is discrete and nothing a bit of background noise won't cover up.
Washing should be easy as it is waterproof so, in theory, should be able to be submerged and cleaned quickly and easily with a spray of toy cleaner and warm water. However, due to the button issues I already mentioned, I fear that submerging the toy will eventually lead to water getting into the electrics and cause the toy to break.
Overall, I think the toy does what it should- the shape and vibration settings are perfect but the button lets it down and, for this reason, I don’t think that I will buy this toy when my current one inevitably breaks.
Great design and functions
I was excited when this was delivered and I love the design of this and the fact it goes inside a capsule to charge so can easily be left on the bedside cabinet without any questions from anyone on what it is.
The toy itself looks similar to a tentacle and the various vibrations and patterns is great. It is light weight to use and really gets in the right places to give you the best O you can imagine with this toy.
It is great for nipple play as well where the tip isn't to large.
Small package big pleasure
The first thing I noticed with this toy was the storage/charger for the device which is a really nice change to all the other toys we own. The toy comes in a cylinder that has a USB-c port on the bottom of it and when you open up the cylinder there is the toy sitting upright. It is slightly magnetised to hold it in place and comes out nice and easy. The great thing is that it is wireless charging and has a usb-c port on the outside, so I can use my phone charger to charge the toy, no more having to find the exact right charger cable for this toy or that toy, its great.
The toy itself is a really nice size for use during sex, and the fact that there is no 'right side' to use makes it even easier to use as you don't have to fiddle getting it the right way round or anything.
It has your standard set of functions, from weak vibrations, through stronger ones, then onto pulsing etc all good, although we generally only use the straight up vibration setting just making it stronger during play time.
Another good point about the storage for the toy, is that we can leave it out and not have to hide it away as it is not obvious at all as to what it is.
